20/05/2025: I was really looking forward to dinner at this restaurant. I booked it especially for my fiance's birthday. Unfortunately I was very disappointed although the staff were very nice they were seriously lacking in quality of food. Somehow my pork belly wasn't even salty and the potato that came with the steak was completely flavourless I would also question the weight of the steak apparently what is in the picture is meant to be 12 oz. My fiance goat cheese starter was very nice but for the prices was expecting more. One major mistake that happened was as I was driving I decided to only have one pint of guinness what decided to follow up with a 00 Guinness only to be told halfway through that it was full alcohol. In summary a very expensive restaurant that is all show and no substance.

27/05/2025: Bad experience from unprofessional bar staff. Came in on a quite Saturday afternoon asked for a Guinness. She basically lied to my face and said "We don't do Guinness" We were infront on the Guinness pumps and people around the bar were drinking Guinness. I then asked for a coke and very rudley announced we only have pepsi. Then threw the pepsi at me and walked of. I called her back simply just so I could pay and she rolled her eyes at me like I was an inconvenience!!!! Food was also cold! It's a nice little pub/bar in a nice location of the city centre just shame at the discrimination and ignorence of the bar staff one woman in particular (short blonde hair) Don't usually review but felt this had to be said!

16/05/2025: Great location on the mainer, poor food, parmesan fries, sweet chilli chicken wrap,soup, chicken sandwich, are the foods I've had and they all tasted terrible, overcooked chicken swimming in 3 times as much sauce as you'd need. tried the coffee on two occasions, very sour

05/05/2025: i already tried the coffee here before and it’s really good! today I tried their matcha latte. it’s not too strong but you’d still taste the matcha. I’d say it’s okay but I like mine with more matcha! they don’t usually add sugar so if you want yours sweet make sure to tell the barista. I also like the vibe here with outside seating facing the street, perfect for a chat and people watching!

21/04/2025: Coeliac customers. Staff didn't seem tom understand what gluten free is. Not confident about eating there and not becoming very ill afterwards. Pity. Location is OK and non coeliac selections good.

01/04/2025: Disappointing Brunch. Avocado toast - myself and my friend both got the same. Poached eggs were overcooked and cold. Toast was ice cold. We were waiting 25 minutes after ordering. Coffee’s were finished by then. There was no excuse because only one other person in the cafe was waiting for food. Most likely the food was done ten minutes before it was served. (30 Mar 25, 12:40)

20/05/2025: Had a big family celebration here, and the service is top class, from their manager (Jinu) to their server (Lynn) she’s very passionate with her job and very positive. Everyone works well together true example of effective team working. They were very patient and accommodating. This branch is family friendly which is why we always love coming here 😊

12/06/2025: Just had the smoke cod and chips, best I ever had, so fresh and tasty.

08/06/2025: Was looking for some place that did decent fried chicken and couldn't find one, until now. Got a smash burger for me, a chicken burger for the Mrs and some tenders, and havnt had better in a long time. The chicken was lovely and juicy, coating was crispy and really tasty. Well worth a trip

01/06/2025: Celebrated my daughter's birthday and the staff gets the 5 stars, they made a small performance for her. Food wasn't the best unfortunately.

31/05/2025: Food wasn’t great, portion sizes small. Staff were rude & impatient, didn’t allow us adequate time to read the menu, and then after we finished our food we were immediately greeted with the check. Also very strong smell of damp in there, which was off putting from the start
