The best restaurants in Dublin

10/10/2025: I visited Bunsen Blanchardstown on Friday evening (October 10th), and despite the place being incredibly busy with people constantly queuing, the experience was fantastic thanks to the amazing girls working on the floor. There were only three staff members managing all the tables and service, yet they went above and beyond to make sure every customer was looked after. They were constantly on the move, multitasking minute after minute, all while staying friendly, calm, and professional. The food was, as always, top quality fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. A special shoutout to the girl working Friday evening, dark hair in two braids, wearing a North Face T-shirt, she was an absolute Wonder Woman, absolutely incredible! So kind, attentive, and hardworking. She truly deserves recognition for how well she handled the chaos. But let’s be clear, the owners and upper management should be ashamed. Having only three staff on the floor and three in the kitchen for such a busy location is completely unacceptable. The fact that these workers are forced to carry the entire operation while management sits back and lets it happen is disgraceful. Bunsen has built a great name for its food and service, but that reputation doesn’t come from the owners, it comes from the incredible frontline staff who are being stretched to their limits. These girls aren’t just doing their jobs; they’re saving your brand every single shift.

06/10/2025: Over rated on every level. Unfriendly staff

12/09/2025: 6pm today the 12th September. Place was filthy. Multiple empty tables with food and wrappers not cleared away. Flies crawling all over tables. The floor was disgusting and in a worse state than the bins pictured. Three staff members all standing around behind the counter chatting and laughing and oblivious to the filth around them. Not the first time we’ve been there and it’s a complete mess. Will definitely be the last time though.

30/08/2025: Nice place to eat.. Not so crowded. They have seating upstairs as well.

15/06/2026: Quite disapointed by this ramen to be honest... 21€ for any ramen is making me expect a magnifique ramen but to be fair the pork is super nicely done but the rest was not up to the standard I was expecting. It's good but not worth the hype. Restaurant is full very fast so better take a reservation.

01/07/2025: Chapter & Verse is amazing! They are just across the street from me and they always help with last-minute orders. On-time deliveries, and the team is kind and quick in their responses. I really recommend them. Thanks Eoin and the team.

30/06/2025: Ordered 2 breakfast rolls, 5 minutes within ordering my food I rang them to add dietary requirements( it says ring restaurant to add dietary requirements),as there is no option when ordering and was told the order left the shop? Within 5 minutes of ordering food? So firstly not fresh and secondly they wouldn’t let me add my preference said well cancel your order and reorder it? Not happy at all not a good service. If you are ordering food you should be allowed to give dietary requirements. Won’t be ordering again

29/07/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely blown away! We stopped in at Ultimate Coffee for a quick coffee and were completely amazed. We were just handed one of the most delicious coffees we’ve ever tasted—beautifully crafted by Carlton, a truly wonderful barista. The coffee tastes every bit as good as it looks. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and outstanding quality. We’ll definitely be back!

19/05/2026: Honestly quiet rude. I asked the man on the phone about the chicken chow mein. I asked if it was made with sauce or no sauce and he said i had to pick it as an option. I tried to explain how there were no options and that it was simply chow mein with no option as to whether or not I could choose between sauce or with no sauce. He refused to hear me and just kept speaking over me. Genuinely rude, dismissive and overall unpleasant to deal with

27/04/2026: This was our go to takeaway for years until now. Price of everything has gone through the roof. None of what we ordered had any flavour just lots of salt and the attitude of the guy on the phone is awful, basically shouting at the people calling as if they are in the wrong for trying to order food from a restaurant.

21/05/2026: Such a cool place! Love the vibe and the staff are so friendly. Really fun to spend an hour or so in, more if you get food and drinks which we didn't this time. There's not a huge huge variety of games, but the ones they have are great and there's a good mix of solo and duo ones. We got the €20 for 32 tokens deal and by the time we were ready for lunch we still had loads of tokens left so took them home to use another day. Loads of lockers available inside. I'd say the atmosphere is great at night but during the day it's really fun when you don't have to wait for any games and basically have the place to yourself!

12/05/2026: This is an amazing place to stay in Dublin. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff are truly wonderful. We especially loved Silvia — she is hardworking, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

01/05/2026: The hotel is lovely, I recommend it. The rooms are comfortable, and in the lobby you can have tea or a glass of water before going to sleep. It has a pleasant atmosphere and a good breakfast.

06/04/2026: Unbeatable value for money. The katsu tofu curry, beef ramen, gyozas, and duck spring rolls were spectacular. We also ordered tempura vegetables, spicy chicken ramen, and a few other things, and everything was delicious. The service was excellent, and everything was amazing.

06/04/2026: Wow- just absolutely wow service from the handsome asian man, I believe his name was Dane. His attentive to both his coworkers and customers made the whole experience a whole 11/10! Would highly recommend visiting here! I will surely be back here- might just start making the place a weekly visit 😉

06/04/2026: Had such a fantastic time at The Great Wood in Blanchardstown! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything from the food to the drinks was top-notch. A special shoutout to Aoife, the bartender, who truly made our visit unforgettable. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knew exactly how to make the perfect drink. Her great energy and professionalism really stood out and added so much to the overall experience. Can’t recommend this place enough—already looking forward to coming back!

12/02/2026: Nice and quiet place, the food is really good and portions are huge. Waitresses are very thoughtful and smiling.

23/11/2025: Lovely restaurant and bar area but really bad food. Completely empty on what should be a busy Sunday afternoon. Tasteless desserts, fatty beef roast. A pity as venue looks great and staff lovely. Fitzpatricks is patchy to say the least - from some angles hotel looks incredible, from others it is semi-derelict, covered in moss and damp.
