The best restaurants in Dublin

24/04/2026: Terrible customer service and a very unsafe location, if staying in Dublin! Strongly advise to avoid.

22/04/2026: A small, 3-star hotel in an excellent location. It has been renovated and offers reasonable rates. Bus, tram, and train stops are just steps away. Temple Bar is about a 15-minute walk. The room was fine, clean, and the staff was very attentive, bilingual, and helpful. They provide a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener, and biscuits, which are replenished as needed. The bathroom has soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The towels are good quality. There's a hairdryer, a small but functional wardrobe, and a safe. The only downside is that the bus station is directly across the street, and you can sometimes hear noise. It might also give the impression of being a somewhat unsafe area because there's a homeless shelter nearby; people wander around but don't bother anyone. To get to and from the airport, you can use the Dublin Express, the Xpress, or bus 41, all of which stop a short walk from the hotel.

04/12/2025: Am done with here. Work locally, just waited 25 mins for a takeaway toasted sandwich. When I asked for a refund they realised they hadn’t put the order in. Staff too busy having the craic behind the counter. Got one thrown in a bag and handed to me. Burnt Oat milk latte pathetic- flat and half filled At €16.65 for the two it’s a complete rip off- too many other offerings in the area. Won’t be back. Ruined my lunch break and my appetite

30/03/2026: Absolutely amazing Chinese takeaway! The food is always fresh, hot, and packed with flavour. Their portions are generous, and you definitely get great value for money. The sweet and sour chicken is perfectly crispy, and the chow mein is full of rich, authentic taste. What really stands out is the consistency — every order is just as good as the last. The staff are friendly, service is quick, and everything is always ready on time. Whether you’re ordering for yourself or a group, they never disappoint. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality Chinese food that hits the spot every single time!

20/11/2025: I absolutely loved Crowbar during my trip to Dublin. The atmosphere inside was welcoming and the bartenders were friendly. The prices are reasonable. I didn't go to the nightclub section of the bar, but according to a friend, it's pretty good. I recommend it!

02/11/2025: Accidentally spilled my pint after 30 seconds of buying it. Explained the bartender that it was a mistake and asked if maybe she could replace it. Instead she nastly said “you have to pay again, obviously” in a mean manner. Like I understand that but that was not nice to respond in such demeanour, especially the “obviously” part. Other bars would have replaced it for free.

01/12/2025: Service was slow. Had ceaser salad and was very plain mostly lettuce leaves. Decor could do with freshing up.

15/04/2026: I usually order from here weekly but the past 4 times the delivery has been minimum 25-30 mins late, 2 of the times when I called to see where it was the food hadn't even left yet and not even an apology was given. Don't order from here if you expect your food on time/warm.

30/04/2025: A pesar del nombre, una joya maravillosa en Dublín. La comida era tipo pub, delicioso, y el servicio era excelente. Nos gustó como un lugar divertido para conseguir algo de comida del pub. Nos llevamos dos foodies con nosotros y les encantó también. Maravilloso pescado con papas fritas. Las porciones son grandes, no tengas miedo de compartir.

28/04/2025: Tuvimos nuestra primera cena en Dublín aquí... Estofado irlandés, pan integral, Murphy's Stout y Smithwick's y nos gustó tanto que volvimos a cenar en nuestra última noche en Dublín dos semanas después. Gran ambiente... y asegúrese de ir arriba!

04/12/2025: Milk Issues!! Used to love going here for a coffee then a relaxing walk on the beach but not anymore. The number of times, usually after 12 on a Saturday or Sunday, there’s been a chalkboard sign on display saying ‘No Milk’ is becoming frustrating. I appreciate running a business is tough, managing the flow and ebb of customer demand, but I prefer my coffee with milk, not oat or soy alternatives. How can they seem to consistently run out of milk, regularly.You’d think that would be a low tide for a coffee shop. Love the people, the service and the coffee when I’m lucky enough to get one. Unfortunately, the ‘No Milk’ issue is leaving a sour taste in my mouth. Please sort it out and then I’ll be back.

01/01/2026: The manager who attend your call is very rude and unprofessional. He needs to be addressed as soon as possible on how to handle a customer when a customer is upset on their missing orders and when they looking for a resolution on missing/delayed orders. If not they should be removed from their position irrespective of the matter whether they are manager or the franchise owners of this brand !!! The initial order when placed on Uber Eat's was promised to be delivered to me at or around 7:30 PM at my door step from Appache, Glasnevin as per Uber Eats app. When i called Glasnevin Appache around 7:50 PM whenI didn’t get my order or didn’t get any order update, I got a very rude response from Appache, Glasnevin that Appache Drumcondra is the only one responsible for fulfilling my order which is not true as per my my initial order promised. Both Appache manager’s were rude and unprofessional as well(even when they knew the orders swapped between shops purposely against the information published online). My question is…. If u can’t make it on time why do you promise it on internet???? The actual fulfilment of the order was finally made from Appache, Drumcondra which is very odd and was done only after 8:15 PM against the initial promised time of 7:30PM irrespective of the matter Mr. Pat mentioned as “internet can promise you many things” in his rude reply on my review to his shop. Mr. Pat your Pizza was really cold and very pathetic which ruined my New Year Celebration with my friends completely. Van u imagine how bad it was for all of us!!!! You can only boast about your Pizza quality in your dreams!!! It was really cold and dry!!! You can also see he don’t have a temperament to handle a genuine customer review as well. Imagine how he he must have been replied to me over the phone when i called him out of my desperation !!!! The food was really cold. The delivery driver also complained about this man’s attitude when asked to share my contact details to contact me to deliver the order without delay. His attitude caused a lot of delays. My another question is on why you guys show yourself as Appache Glasnevin and accept order in Appache Drumcondra of u already know you can’t deliver it from Appache, Glasnevin??? Guys this is not the first time this happens… Try make a booking in Glasnevin it will only delivered from Appache, Drumcondra after 1:30 hour after a lot of confusion and mental trauma like this. When i shared my experience lot of my friends also had similar experiences like this from Appache. It’s kind of fooling and confusing people and when order goes missing you mock people and say why don’t you make orders on our website instead of this stupid applications??? How could you make such arrogant statements?? I being a customer I have all the rights to be angry or upset because I didn’t get my order on time and was made fool by swapping the shops purposely for some unknown reason. The food was really cold and dry as well. I don’t how a pizza can be delicious when it is cold and so dry like the way i got it. You guys made my New Year eve so terribly bad and how could you be so terribly boastful??
