27/11/2024: Went here for a quick bite to eat when my son was in Temple Street. Best burger I've ever eaten. Delicious and well worth the money. The homemade mayo is particularly nice and the melted cheese on the burger is amazing 👏 would 100% recommend to anyone who enjoys a good burger 👍

06/01/2025: Disgustingly dirty bar for over 4 hours on the night of arrival. Booking with agent didn't cater for what was confirmed. Staff had poor understanding of English. Food on night of arrival was microwaved, tasteless and hard. Mocktails were overpriced and flavourless. Staff would forget orders even after 2 reminders. The wait for food and drink orders was unacceptable - often up to over 40 mins for a coffee. You need to put a restaurant in the hotel with functioning chefs, waiting team with polished customer service and clean bar. The entire catering setup at this hotel is abysmal and completely ruins the overall holiday/vacation/getaway experience. Really awful. Won't be back. Terrible food ....disastrous service.

01/01/2025: We visited Upper Deck on the 31st of December, and while I understand that staff might be tired at the end of the festive season, some aspects of our experience fell short of expectations. We chose from the set Christmas menu, and while the food was fine overall, our steaks were not cooked to the doneness we requested. Additionally, when our order was taken, we were not reminded that sides were not included. None of us noticed any note about this in the menu, which led to some confusion. That said, the staff were pleasant, and the food was enjoyable aside from these issues. For me, the highlight of Upper Deck is its quieter, tidier ambiance compared to the bustling gastro pub below, which made for a more relaxed dining experience. I would give it another try, perhaps outside of the busy holiday season.

30/12/2024: I would rate the food at 4.5 here. I had pancakes which were super fluffy and served with bananas, blueberries and maple syrup. My husband had a sandwich which bacon. He said the sandwich was not bad, the bread was fresh and it was a huge size, but it was licking a bit of flavor. The atmosphere however was a bit gloomy for me. It was lacking light, the chair seats look like they are 100years old and the space is quite cramped.

13/12/2024: Was here last weekend for the first time in a while. Don't know why I didn't go for so long. I have to say, it never disappoints, food was on point and staff are always lovely

04/11/2024: I went to nandos over the weekend and the service was exceptional keelan was our waiter and he did an amazing job from the start he welcomed us got a table and took our orders at the till, he was fast and efficient. We’ll defiantly come back again with my wife
