The best restaurants in Dublin

28/08/2025: Really bad drop off from this place. Was previously my favourite space for lunch in Dublin. Unfortunately with massive price increases and a drop in quality it’s not worth it. Ordered the spicy Cajun sandwich and noticed they stopped putting any sauce on it. 12€ for a dry chicken and cheese sandwich is frankly a rip off

28/08/2025: I will never visit this place again and you should not, either. However, if you decide to go there, you should definitely double-check your receipt here before paying. First I was charged 25.25 instead of 11.60 but realized only after swiping my card. Then they initiated a refund and charged my card again with the right amount (11.60), so I thought it was OK after all. I only realized on the next day (when the refund arrived) that they decided to "keep the change" and refund only 25.00.

27/09/2026: Had “mama’s burrito” and it was basically just a black bean filled toasted wrap. No flavour.

21/09/2026: Delicious meal with fast service. A bit pricey, but consistent with other restaurants. The tables out front are noisy (shopping mall under construction).

31/07/2026: My experience at this place was extremely disappointing. Besides feeling disrespected as a customer, I was very uncomfortable with the behavior of one of the female staff members, who, in my opinion, acted inappropriately toward my husband even though it was obvious that he was there with me. I believe any professional establishment should expect its staff to treat all customers with respect and maintain appropriate boundaries. Unfortunately, the behavior I witnessed gave me the impression of a lack of professionalism and respect. Because of this experience, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone who expects respectful and professional customer service. I sincerely hope the management addresses this issue and ensures that all customers are treated with the courtesy and professionalism they deserve.

20/04/2026: Called in on a Sunday afternoon for dinner this is a real sports bar a lot of TVs in area. Order the Bacon dinner which was nice. Would call back during week day to see what atmosphere is like.

10/04/2026: The beef carvery dinner is priced at 17:95 on their website but they are quietly charging 21:95 ! Bad form guys!

06/07/2026: Why is vaping allowed in the bar? Most times when I visit there is a man sitting at the bar vaping in front of the bar staff. It should be banned like in most other pubs. I tried to ring the pub to ask but gave up at the phone is never answered.

21/06/2026: Had 2 rounds and cost about €7 per person i would sit inside though the outside chairs arnt verry comfortable

12/09/2026: Popped in whilst out for a bit to eat top class food service was second to none highly recommend stayed on for a few Drinks . Service is fabulous both bar service and table some great lounge staff can't compliment this pub enough

27/09/2026: We went to watch Spain's matches and have a drink, and it was really good, the garden has a great atmosphere for relaxing with friends.

20/10/2026: The Coffee and pastries are great, however this is not the USA , asking someone to tip for handing a coffee over a counter is annoying and unnecessary .

05/10/2026: Finish work on Sunday evening, no drinks consumed when in asked for a pint of coors. The barman said are you here for the Ireland v Israel game, I said yes he said I’m not showing it. I’m only new to the area just got a new apartment around the corner. So went to fairview for a pint and on the way back they had the match on well won’t be going back there again

22/10/2026: Nice place for a quick tea and a toast. Very noisy though. And very warm. Not the cleanest place I had brunch in my life. Prices a bit higher than the average.

07/10/2026: Came across this place by accident and really glad I did. It’s cosy, calm, and has a lovely atmosphere. Good variety of sandwiches, and the pastries are really tasty too.

10/08/2025: My partner and I left vomiting all night and extreme stomach sickness after eating here, no manager to speak to, to help deal with this situation, was left speaking to the assistant manager who has no clue what she is doing and accused me of lying just to get my money back, told me to go get proof that im sick from the doctor, said her name was Monica just talked over me the whole time on the phone and acuused me of lying and was shouting at me the whole phonecall, absolutely horrible person, has no place in a customer service job, please dont eat in this dump unless you want to be sick and abused

13/08/2026: Only go here for quick takeaway coffees. Today a €1 tip was added to my card payment for a coffee, without asking. I only noticed later. It’s not about the money , it’s the attitude. Service there is never great and communication is often difficult with staff who have poor English. I won’t be back, much better options nearby.

21/07/2026: They don't ask about the size, they just knock out the biggest one. They didn't ask if it was here or not, so we sat down at a table with a glass to take away
