09/06/2026: Their hot and spicy chicken sandwich might be the best chicken sandwich I've ever had

29/03/2026: This place has just progressively gotten worse. I ordered a chicken kebab, although many might like a breaded Lidl burger chopped up on a pitta, with iceberg lettuce and a tiny bit of sauce, I can say I didn't care for it at all. No red cabbage no onions. Hardly a kebab. Garlic cheese chips. Had a good amount of sauce on it but easy to do when there is only 15 chips in the foil tray. How you managed to serve it cold is a talent, I live beside macaris and It was like it had been in the fridge. Horrible, went in the bin. Better places to go in the mun in all fairness.

24/10/2026: Borza has always been my go to takeaway , the pizzas are top quality , lovely chips, and some interesting things on the menu you dont see anywhere else (their backyard bowls)

12/07/2026: Impossible not to stop! Delicious hot chocolate...both milk and dark. A variety of chocolates with interesting flavors. Elegant packaging for small keepsakes to take home to friends.

03/10/2026: I tried the house specialty, the bubble waffle, but I didn't think it was anything special. All show and no substance for the price. At this point, you're much better off going to get an ice cream at nearby places. We walked in and the place was completely empty even during peak hour, and yet it still took them at least 10 minutes to serve us, even though I understand preparation takes time. Sure, you can customize your waffle and everything, with whatever ice cream you prefer, but I felt the ice cream quality was quite low. The flavor of the waffle wasn't great either; in fact, it turned out too dry and almost burnt. Therefore, I can only give a low rating to this place. You can find much better waffles out there. My rating is a 3/10 at most. The price might even be fair, but it always has to be justified by the qualityI wouldn't recommend it.

24/10/2026: Took maybe 10 minutes to get my pizza which was totally fine but my pint took over 30 minutes I had to go to the bar to request it and got snapped at by the bartender that they were super busy. Again understandably so its a popular spot, but 30+ minutes for a pint bottle of bulmers and then to be snapped at over it is really disappointing service.

26/10/2026: Indian food wouldn't be for me , but the food here was outstanding and very generous portions , will difficult be returning to try different dishes

25/10/2026: Huge so inevitably noisy. All dishes were very good, and the signature Dall Makhini was outstanding.

13/10/2026: Really nice spot for a night out. The live music creates a great atmosphere, and it’s a perfect place to enjoy a few drinks and good music with friends. Definitely worth a visit!

13/10/2026: Absolutely loved 4 Dame Lane! What a brilliant spot with such a fun, lively atmosphere and awesome music! Neo (I'm not entirely sure of the full band's name!) was performing the night I visited, and WOW, they were amazing! Such fantastic energy, brilliant music and Neo's mixing was absolutely spot on. He really knew how to read the crowd, keep everyone entertained and the energy going all night. What a fantastic entertainer! The whole place had such a great buzz about it, with everyone enjoying the music, singing along and just having a brilliant time. I absolutely love bars where the music is fantastic, the atmosphere is buzzing and you can just let your hair down, have a laugh and enjoy the moment. This place certainly delivered! Full of character, great energy and exactly my kind of place. Another fantastic Dublin find and somewhere I'd happily head back to for another fun night out!

28/09/2026: Hi, I have been to this restaurant at least 4 times. Unfortunately each time I have been there, so was the same guy who serves the food. I found him so unhelpful I would go as far as to say rude each time . It can happen sometimes people might be having an off day but when dealing with the public you need to be polite and have a decent measure of coutacy. Isn't that a job requirement.!!!! In my experience this guy seems to have left his manners at home, that is giving him the benefit of the doubt that he had some to begin with in the first place. I couldn't reach in for a pastry and asked for his help and he said very grumpy "It self service" Eventually I had to ask an unknown customer for help. By the way I am not an invalid but in this case your food server made me feel so inadequate . God help anyone who really needs help and unable to ask for it. No plates available so I saw some near him, but O God forbid he might do something nice and give me one instead of standing around waiting !!! no no didn't think so .WHY would you spoil your bad reputation. True saying in his case anyway. A Leopard Never Changes His Spots . Needless to say won't be back again .

06/09/2026: I'm really glad this place re-opened for takeout after over a year, the food is absolutely amazing! We already tried several dishes on the new menu, and the peratha is just as delicious as it used to be. For lassi lovers, I highly recommend the mango-saffron!

03/10/2026: Delicious breakfast served by a polite young man and cooked up by a friendly lady with a banging work ethic. Ingredients are high quality and even the tableware is adorable. Highly recommend for an Irish breakfast.

06/09/2026: Really enjoyed our visit to Gourmet Food Parlour! I loved the look of their breakfast options but unfortunately we were a little too late to try them , hopefully next time! What we did have was lovely though, really nice, clean and fresh-tasting food. Everything was simple but done really well and I honestly can’t complain. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying the breakfast! ❤️

01/09/2026: Had a vegetarian salad which looked like the contents of the compost bin on my plate. Absolutely vile , manager shrugged off my complaint with no interest in the poor food and "will tell the chef " while happily overcharging for this dreadful food. Offered 2 euro off a 24 euro bill for poorest salad. Nice place for coffee but a complete waste of money for decent food.

25/08/2026: Coming from a coffee focused city, I’ve had to lower my expectations (and change my coffee order) whilst in Dublin. Coffee from this place was alright, better than other places I’ve tried so far, so I gave it 4 stars, for Dublin standards.

23/08/2026: Got the 6 piece falafel and it was delicious and came with bread and dips. Definitely recommend!

08/07/2026: Second time the guys have made the most scabby, mean, stingy, breaded halloumi wrap. I asked him not to be so mean with the salad as the last one was terrible with no salad, barely any salad the wrap is the size of an empty pancake. I don't think he speaks English at all. The girl working in Umj on little Mary street makes the most excellent wrap. Avoid the Rathmines branch unless you want to starve for your money. Just miserable in attitude as well.
