The best restaurants in Dublin

07/09/2026: At Morilles stillorgan today, I ordered 2 iced coffees at the drive through when i tasted the two iced coffees they tasted severally burnt . when we brought it up to the staff they were rude and abrupt and not apologetic at all, we were told then to go around the back to collect the coffee and the door was slammed in our face and the fresh coffee we received was still burnt so the combination of poor service and rude workers is appalling and safe to say i will not be returning

12/08/2026: The staff were absolutely lovely. The girls serving coffee today were so friendly, and they made the biggest ice creams we’ve had in a long time! We thought they closed a bit later, but they were actually shutting up at 5 p.m. The girls were almost apologetic about it, saying lots of people get caught out by the closing time. Even so, they couldn’t have been nicer, they told us we were welcome to stay a little longer or move over to the outdoor tables by the Mill House. Great service and a really warm, welcoming atmosphere.

13/07/2026: Excellent reception service from Kevin. Quick, friendly and very helpful. we checked in very late at the hotel and to get an excellent service at the end of the day was really impresive, must say the hotel has trained their staff well. Also not sure if this is the right place to include this compliment but......the cologne he used was amazing, we all loved it.

12/07/2026: A good, modern hotel, kind staff, big rooms with a great bathroom and very good transport links. Earplugs essential!! At the time we were there (Jul 2026) they are building something behind the hotel, work starts at the site 7am! 👷‍♂️🏗💥 A note re. Heat of summer - Rooms don't have air-conditioning and a fan wasn't available.

11/10/2026: The food was poor, consisting of something they called pizza and something they called a cheese board. The drinks were okay, though expensive. The cocktails were good but quite pricey. The music was rather loud.

25/08/2026: Stopped by for a drink after dinner and ordered the Bubble Bee. It had a very strong smoky whisky/oak aroma, almost like a nicotine smell. If you don’t like smoky flavours, you may want to avoid this one. Great atmosphere and service though — will try other cocktails next time.

20/08/2026: Very tasty kebab, fresh and well-seasoned. The portion was generous, and the price was really affordable. Definitely recommend it — great value for money! 🌯👌

05/08/2026: Although it's currently under construction, a visit is a must if you're a U2 fan. They used to play in front of the hotel before they were famous. The hotel owner stayed on, and Bono proposed playing inside in exchange for the hotel generating revenue from drinks. He refused. Bono told him that when they were famous, he would buy the hotel. And he did.

26/08/2026: went today for dinner with mum ordered the fish & chips both fish were disgraceful it was shocking no white fish chips peas tartare sauce were fab very disappointed with the staff talking about us when we complained won’t be rushing back

29/03/2026: I live close and I shop here when I can, I am italian and I particularly shop here cause they have good italian products straight from Italy, they have De Checco pasta brand, which is very good and pistacchio cream, tomato sauce straight from italy, as well as other toppings and organic honey from an Irish honey farm of the area!🤩 Also, they make delicious homemade cakes and muffins, which are a must try! Staff is very kind and friendly! :)

28/09/2026: I’ve been coming here for takeaway coffee for about a year and used to consider it my go-to spot. Unfortunately, over the past few weeks/months, the quality has noticeably dropped—the coffee feels flat and lacks the foam and texture it used to have. Really hoping it returns to its previous high standard soon.

27/09/2026: Food and atmosphere were great, but unfortunately the service made the experience less enjoyable. At one point, the server tried to take my drink while I was still clearly drinking it. When I quickly asked her not to, her reaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive. After that, our interactions felt quite unfriendly, and we were left with the impression that we were being rushed to leave, despite there being no queue or obvious need for the table. It's a shame, as otherwise we really enjoyed the place.

29/09/2026: I just discovered this place and it's amazing! You can eat indoors or order through Deliveroo, food is great with both options. Large-portion dishes and so tasty. They made me remember flavours of my homeland! (I have ordered so far a burrata di bufala, a homemade bun-less burger and a lasagna, all great). Economic too, the two course meal is €29.90 and you eat a lot. I really recommend this restaurant!

04/10/2026: Dreadful food. Battered cod had hardly any fish in it was mostly batter. Grilled chicken kebab was mostly lettuce with very little chicken. Burger was ok but nearly cold. I wont be back !!
