16/12/2024: We spend a memorable time in this hotel. The room was specious and clean. The place was quiet and we were not disturbed at all. Great full English breakfast. To enhance, they need to include a fridge inside the room.

14/01/2025: I tried Turkish menemen, and I found it very successful. The coffee was also nice. However, I can’t say the same for the service. From the moment I entered, except for the blonde lady, none of the staff smiled, at least not toward us. Empty coffee cups stayed on the table for hours, and no one came to check on us. For such a popular restaurant, I didn’t feel welcomed.
13/01/2025: Came here for lunch, really big space with a nice atmosphere. The food was good but the service could be improved - our drinks were served soon after our order while the food took a while to arrive, and we asked for a side that never arrived.

24/12/2024: Food is lovely and pasta handmade, service was nearly non existent, we had to get up multiple times to find not just our server but anyone. This was during lunch so maybe they were understaffed before Christmas, so my blame here is not on the staff but possibly on management.

19/12/2024: Poor today tbh. My 21€ burger was burnt and the so called best wings in Dublin were extremely disappointing. Barely any sauce at all, we’re closer to naked wings than buffalo and feel like we’re cooked days in advanced and frozen. Very small and dry, not much meat on them and many many broken bones. So very disappointed on this occasion, maybe it was just a bad night in the kitchen.

25/12/2024: Had our usual Christmas Eve dinner in the car with Fish & Chips from Leo Burdocks on Werburgh Street after our afternoon in Grafton Street. The batter on the fish is the best here and portions are generous as always. Famous with locals and visiting celebrities.
17/12/2024: Take away chippie steps from Christchurch Cathedral. Brisk business - know what you want and step into the tiny shop. We had cod and chips with salt and vinegar. Hot and fresh. Walk five minutes over to the park by St Patrick’s with your steaming hot bag of goodness and it will be ready to eat when you find a sunny bench.

06/01/2025: Great after show dinner here with my wife and 2 kids 7yo and (nearly) 5yo. I got the house salad which was delicious and good size too. Both kids got a burger which neither could finish as they were MASSIVE at a really good price, less than 10 euro I think with chips and a drink. Wife had chicken goujons which she said were really tasty and again another big portion.

03/11/2024: Tried Saaep Thai tonight for the first time and was not disappointed! Walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile by the lovely Aisling and the very friendly chefs. Aisling took us through the menu and deals and we decided to try spice bags for 2. The food was top quality, and so delicious and flavourful. Will definitely be back to try some of the Thai dishes in future!

15/12/2024: Nice large pub with plenty of free parking outside. Pub is based around a single large octagonal bar. Floor staff were very attentive and friendly, bar staff were ok but could certainly be more friendly and polite and acknowledge people waiting to order etc.
Food was top quality. In fact the food side was managed very well, from front of house, to waitresses. Visited on the second last Friday before Christmas so it was manic and loud. I imagine it's not like that normally. The environment itself didn't feel cosy though. Very open plan and large.
