The best restaurants in Dublin

06/07/2026: Have to say, I come here all the time, and while the food is great, I've stopped coming as often due to how rude and strange one of the deli workers seems to act towards the other workers, a polish woman she has glasses on her sometimes but I have to say her behavior is disgraceful and drags down the company as a whole. Very disappointing..

16/06/2026: Friendly local supermarket, good wine selection. Plenty of car parking at rear of supermarket.

09/05/2026: Wonderful hotel for 3 guests. Central location and nice staff. Music played outside until 1-2 am is a deterrent. Everything else was great but the outside atmosphere was tough to deal with every night. Again not the hotels fault, but definitely something to consider

29/07/2025: Estábamos en una crisis de tiempo después de que nuestro restaurante anterior estaba saturado. Hicieron espacio para nosotros a pesar de no tener una reserva y sacaron nuestra pizza y pasta rápido. La comida era buena e incluso acomodaron a mi hijo de 8 años con sus espaguetis. Restaurante sólido. ¡Pulgares arriba de mi hija!

27/06/2025: Excelente comida y ambiente. Estuvimos allí temprano por la noche un jueves no muchos en pero la comida era excelente y tenía un ambiente muy relajante. Encontramos el vino un poco caro, pero en general encontramos el precio del alcohol en lugares en Dublín más caro de lo que estamos acostumbrados. Hubiera tenido unos cuantos más si hubiera sido más razonable. En general muy bueno

30/05/2026: Arrogant and rude. They deliver junk mail to your home, totally disregarding signs that specifically say, “NO JUNK MAIL” and make dogs bark and babies wake up from naps. They only care about themselves and not the quality of life of others in their own homes. Totally greedy, spammy business practices.

10/05/2026: I would like to thank Eva on customer service for her help this morning re my online grocery order who was so accommodating and was able to resolve the issue & couldn't have been more helpful.

02/03/2026: I am local but I stopped coming in here years ago. Never have what I want and everything hugely expensive & often out of date. Made an exception this Monday morning, 9am, coffee & breakfast roll. Wasn't watching it get made.. rotten ould eggs.. straight in the bin. €5. Never again.

03/03/2026: First time there, The menu was all over the wall and clear as mud Felt under pressure to order as soon as we entered but little available apparently after 12 It felt like we should have been aware??? Waitress abrupt and but the food we received was well presented just not what I really wanted Print a decent clear menu and be receptive to new customers giving them time to order would make a big difference

30/10/2025: Great food, cooked fresh. There is a nice range of breakfast options, all of which I have eaten have tasted well. Coffee is good. Plenty of regular clientele and its buzzing with activity in the mornings, which is a great vote of confidence.

18/06/2026: Lovely owners, Lovely coffee and great bakery selection

13/06/2026: I went in this morning during the rush before work and asked if they made iced coffee, since a lot of coffee shops don’t. The barista looked at me and said, “Are you kidding me? You’re in a coffee shop!” and then turned her back on me. I was honestly shocked by how rude and unprofessional she was. I just left without ordering anything.

16/05/2026: I've ordered from this pizza take away for a long time but today was very disappointing. It was over an hour before it was delivered and when the food arrived it was barely warm. The pizza was hard as if it had been sitting cooked for a long time before being delivered. I was able to eat two slices and the rest was binned die to it being inedible. Unfortunately I won't be taking a chance ordering again.

16/06/2026: Met a friend for coffee. Very welcoming staff and beautiful decor. The view is fantastic and there are seats outside overlooking the sea

14/06/2026: Not family friendly. Arrived for a drink in the beer garden and were told our kids (all over ten) were not welcome as they had kids in at the moment that weren’t behaving. From looking into the garden we could see kids sitting on the grass playing pat a cake… far from the ‘ballistic’ scenes described by the bald bouncer. He told us the owner was watching and doesn’t like kids. Go to the royal marine for a drink in the sun, so much nicer!

28/06/2026: Could be the best Chinese takeaway chain in Dublin and to keep standards high across different locations is a lot harder than you'd think.

18/08/2025: Great atmosphere yesterday in there for Oasis, real pity about the older gentleman working behind the bar. Ive never seen someone as rude behind a bar, was there all afternoon and watched him have a go at 2 or 3 people for nothing, called one customer a gobshite. I couldnt believe it, he has to own the place for the way he carried on. Crazy, no way an employee would have been let carry on the way he did.

13/08/2025: A great bar. Didn't have the food but it looked lovely. Pub and toilets are spotless. Bar staff attentive and engaging.

17/05/2026: Really great spot for food. Drinks experience a little flat in terms of atmosphere if going solo but great if that’s not an issue.

02/04/2026: I lived in Blackrock for nearly two years, and from the moment I first walked into Kelly and Coopers, I was made to feel genuinely welcome and immediately at home. That warmth and hospitality made settling into Blackrock far easier than I could have expected, and it is something I will always remember with real gratitude. The service was exceptional throughout attentive, friendly, and delivered so naturally that every visit felt effortless and enjoyable. It was often the case that before I had even thought about leaving my seat, a member of staff would already be there to ask if I was ready for another pint, which perfectly reflected the high standard of care and attentiveness that defined the place. The food was consistently excellent, always enjoyable and clearly prepared with care. The smoking area was a favorite retreat of mine a calm, inviting space with a pleasant atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and taking a moment to unwind. It is a place I genuinely miss and one I look forward to returning to on my next trip. My sincere best wishes to all of the staff, and thank you for making my time in Blackrock all the more memorable.
