16/08/2025: Nice and friendly place. Food was good and service very good.

19/07/2025: The place is between the docks and Trinity College. So, it's very well located. We stayed there (check-in at 3:00 PM), but you can leave your luggage upon arrival. The room is comfortable, quite spacious, and equipped with a functional bathroom. The mattress is very comfortable. The evening meal in the pub was fantastic. The service was remarkable, with a very efficient young lady available. The food was very good. There was a choice of three ciders and several beers.

16/07/2025: Ordered a acai bowl which had mould fruits. When we complained the server just removed the mouldy fruit and said it is fine to eat now. Not sure if they practise any hygiene in there. If you don’t want to get food poisoning than avoid this place.

20/09/2025: Really nice burrito, nice friendly staff, quick service, fair price. Only reason it wasn't 5-star was because it wasn't a Michelin star restaurant. Would happily make it my regular burrito place.

12/10/2025: Do not go to this establishment, Although I am a fan of Eddie Rockets, I have been disappointed recently so, do not order from here. Burger came out pink fries missing and coke spilled, and not a staff member able to stop to help, Will not be returning and would not recommend.

22/09/2025: I honestly don’t get the hype around this place. It’s all marketing and good publicity on TikTok and Instagram, but nothing really delivers. I spent €30 there and ordered two matchas and the ragu with chorizo — which came with what seemed like canned beans, tomato sauce, a tiny bit of chorizo, one egg on top, two small pieces of bread and some avocado. Later I tried a croissant that was completely dry, and my friends also ordered some pastries that were dry as well. This was around 2 PM, so not too late in the day. The food is not appetizing at all, definitely overpriced, and simply not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend it. Just hype, no real substance. For me, it’s a 1/10.

10/09/2025: Staff was fantastic. The place is nice but cannot understand why they do not have tables. I had an excellent flat white... but for 5 euros! Not even in Greystones I pay so much for a coffee. No wonder why it is always empty.

01/08/2025: Great. Got a full service and new tyre in very quick time. Prices in shop for small accessories cheaper than Amazon in my experience.

29/07/2025: Decent spot, issues can get a bit lost in translation sometimes, went in for a new wheel and ended up with a new tire instead. and the prices can be a bit steep, but if you’re going in looking for parts or lights etc it’s a good spot and there’s a good range of things you can look through while you’re there

07/05/2025: Chef is very creative, and the food is consistent and delicious! Healthy eating at its best. Place can get quick packed and limited opening hours but they do have seating in a covered outdoor area.

20/09/2025: We were planning on having a drink, eating, and sitting here. Unfortunately, it was only takeout, so we left. The picture with the chairs must be old.

22/08/2025: Very disappointed at how bad Cafe Solo Killiney has gone as I used to love it. Service & food appalling. We felt as though serving us was an inconvenience to the waitresses. Our food was just thrown down anywhere on the table, without a word. We had to remind them twice for our drinks & we eventually got them after our food. Extremely rude staff who look like they are very unhappy in their job. The food used to be really lovely but now it's obvious that everything is made very cheaply. My omelette was absolutely disgusting- i really don't think it was made of real eggs, all the food we got was just awful. All I can say is, with the bad service & bad quality food, we won't be back. Very disappointed how somewhere that used to be so nice has gone so downhill.

22/08/2025: No puedo creer lo mal que le ha ido a Solo Café, Killiney, porque me encantaba. Todo fue horrible. El personal era realmente grosero y nos sentimos como si fuéramos un inconveniente al ordenar. La comida estaba literalmente tirado en la mesa y no recibimos nuestras bebidas hasta después de la comida, a pesar de que pedimos dos veces. La calidad real de la comida también ha ido terrible. Mi tortilla era dura y no comestible y venía con un montón de pasta horrible (decía ensalada en el menú), pero la camarera ciertamente no estaba feliz de hacernos saber en qué consistía una ensalada. Nunca volveré después de esa experiencia.
