19/07/2026: Castleknock Hotel is one of my favourite places to come for dinner. The atmosphere is lovely, the seating area is beautiful, and it’s the only place where I never feel rushed to leave. I come here all the time but have never written a review before.Today, I was served by Leah, and the service was absolutely impeccable. She was so sweet, cheerful, and genuinely made my day so much better. She genuinely made our time so much better!

13/07/2026: Stunning hotel, feels very luxurious for a very decent price. We stayed for two nights on a trip to Dublin from the UK - we hired a car so it was easy to get to the hotel from the airport and from the hotel to the city. Our room was great and the included breakfast had lots of choice. We stayed during a heatwave and we really missed not having AC in the room, that would’ve made the stay much more comfortable. The hotel has a bar, restaurant, cafe and feels so spacious and clean. The staff were nice and things like room service etc were well managed. We used the pool area briefly on our first night, it was okay but in my opinion it could definitely do with some modernisation, updating and maintenance. I probably wouldn’t choose this hotel if I was looking for a true spa hotel experience but we absolutely would return for a luxury feel stay if ever visiting Dublin again.

14/10/2026: Great little spot to refuel with coffee in St. Patrick's Park. Really appreciate that alternative milks are free of charge, and the coffee they make is seriously good stuff - on it's own as well as the pumpkin spice variety. Grab a cup, sit down in the park and relax! Can't do any better than that on a Sunday afternoon.

29/08/2026: Won ton soup had one fork full of noodles in it and approximately 1/4 of a chicken breast and a couple of slices of carrot and the actual soup tastes of nothing. The spice bag is not a spice bag. Chips salted, large chunks of nice chicken, salted, boiled onions, and tiny amount of scallion. One slice of a red chillie, and absolutely no spice anywhere, it's just salty. The worse spice bag in Ireland.

09/08/2026: During the heatwave I came here with my dog, I asked the lady for a takeaway cup so I could give the dog water. She told me the owner doesn’t allow her to sell them. I just said, it’s so I can give the dog water it’s just a cup, she still said no as apparently the owner does not allow it. How cheap and stingey is the owner?

11/06/2026: My friend and I tried this Nigerian food for the first time. Really positive experience and none of the food was too spicy for us! The portion sized were decent too! We really enjoyed the plantain and jollof rice but the meat on the rice was very tough. The dodo gizzard had a nice, spiced flavour to it. It had plantain and chicken gizzards. Some of the chicken gizzard was tough but the flavour profile was nice! It was my first time have chicken gizzard and I was a bit nervous about it but the meat taste is very mild! Unfortunately neither of us enjoyed the Egusi or Ogbono. They had a very strong fish taste, which might be typical of the dishes but we didn't enjoy it. I didn't know that when we ordered but sure look! You live and learn! The fufus were nice! The white fufu was a smooth texture and the brown fufu had more of a grainy feel to it. I liked the white fufu more and my friend liked the brown one more so there was no fights between us! 😅 The staff were very lovely and helpful! I'll definitely be back to try a few more dishes in the future!

05/10/2026: That was a complete disaster... I ordered three items. One didn't arrive, and even after inquiring about it, nothing happened for 20 minutes. We had already finished eating when it was finally delivered.

20/09/2026: I was pleasantly surprised by a creamy pint poured by an Asian girl with fiery hair. I didn’t know angels were allowed to work with alcohol. It was definitely the best pint I’ve had in Dublin, and I’d absolutely come back if she’s still there. If not, the place itself is beautiful enough to be worth a visit anyway.

10/10/2026: I highly recommend going at lunch time. We chose this place couple reason. 1 we needed something to eat that will fill us up and the prices was very reasonable considering it being in Dublin. The food was amazing. The kids got pizza and wife got fish and chips. I got an amazing beef stroganoff. Service was great the beer was cold !! Come get tapped out on some amazing food!!

18/05/2026: I was there yesterday to celebrate my friend’s birthday. I ordered a burrata as a starter but received mozzarella instead. I pointed it out and was told that the chef had guaranteed it was burrata. Very disappointing. I know what burrata is, and I wouldn’t have ordered it if I had known it was just mozzarella — essentially, I paid for burrata but received mozzarella. After the starter, our main course took a very long time to arrive. To make things worse, the “Classic Club” sandwich — which was what most people at our table actually wanted — had already sold out because of the party taking place in the garden. Also, my friend had reserved the garden, but it was double-booked and we were seated inside instead. That was fine, as the weather wasn’t great anyway. However, the ambient sound stopped working and none of the staff were able to fix it. Other than these issues, the food was good.

08/10/2026: Used to love this little veggie café, but on our recent visit, staff informed us that the brunch menu (which used to include some vegan options) is no more. Apart from the biscuits and plain focaccia being "accidentally vegan", there were no vegan pastries available either. Unfortunately, it seems they no longer cater well to vegans.
