09/08/2025: It can be hit and miss here in every aspect. Been here a number of times and have left both pleased and frustrated in each of the categories above. Consistency is missing in every aspect. A great location, great rustic offering. They just need to bring the A game everyday in food presentation and content, staff friendliness, cleanliness.

13/10/2025: Great place to stop in for lunch. The “Sanizza” … sandwich and pizza … was amazing! Large portion and tasty.

24/10/2025: A very good spice bag. The wait was longer and there was no seating because people know this place is legit. I think spice bag was $8 or $9, then $2 for curry sauce which you must ask to have it added so don't forget. This is the standard for spice bags. I was probably ate only half and was done.

04/07/2025: I was sitting quietly in the corner waiting for my wife to finish shopping. Insomnia coffee worker approached to me and told me that I have to move from this place or she will call security. She said they are opening this area at 12:00 (it was 11:15). Me and her was the only people in this area, and about 30 other empty table spaces. I asked her why is she texas ranger and went away.. Im not going to buy coffee in any insomnia shop in the world

19/06/2025: I've been drinking Insomnia coffee for more than 10 years and never had an issue but last 2 times what I got from this branch was an absolute muck. No coffee taste at all. Just warm milk. I hope they sort it out

01/11/2025: Usually butlers is top quality but for the last 4 months I’ve been getting our coffees here and the quality is so poor. Lattes and cappuccinos are being served piping hot, as if it’s being made at the wrong temperature. This makes the coffee go flat quickly so there’s no foam it just has the appearance of an instant coffee. The iced drinks are also coming 3/4 of the way full and taste watered, every time I’ve gotten one it’s either had no syrup, or they made me the wrong version of what I asked. I know some would say it’s not that deep, but for almost €6 a pop I would expect high quality considering other butler cafes never deliver this low of quality I know it’s not the brand however it’s definitely this particular branch or team.

06/10/2025: Food was great as usual I own two boojum tshirts which shows my loyalty as a customer. I went in about half an hour before closing and staff were extremely unwelcoming. The staff member serving me was cold and me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

30/09/2025: Atmosphere is amazing super cool love the layout interior design very fresh and unique super tasteful! I wish the food matched the atmosphere it was nice don’t get me wrong but have had much better Asian food it felt like an non Italian cooking Italian if that makes sense, hard to explain. We had the ribs for starters; they were ok came in three so hard to share for 2 people. I wish they where more “crunchy” also felt they where a bit bland taste have been better a bit bland like the meat didn’t soak up the flavours. The broccoli for starters was perfectly cooked and garnished. The lemon grass chicken was too sweet my friend couldn’t finish it. I really enjoyed my Mongolian fillet it was crunchy spicy vegetables perfectly cooked for 27euro u expect a bit more beef but that’s Dublin. Overall would give 5 stars but food was ok. Hang dai and big fan for Asian huge focus on food mainly! I would recommend this place as the atmosphere is superb and very tasteful. The food just needs some fine tuning !

27/09/2025: I had a really good experience here. The food was definitely amazing, the service was wonderful, everyone was nice and polite and happy to help. Definitely a five star for me.

04/12/2025: Bartender got the order wrong and refused to correct the drink. Long time customer, won’t ever return. Update to respond: It was a weekday afternoon and the place was quiet. It wasn't a "cocktail chaos" night. The bartender did not double check.

Sisi's position in Blackrock, is Brilliant, for "People-Watching", from, either, inside or at it's, pavement table. 16/10/2025: My son said, "We have to go there to try the Spice Bag ... it's supposed to be great". When we go there the place was jammed. We ordered at the counter and waited to see it we could get a seat .. seating was a bit chaotic but we eventually got places at a shared table. When we received out food we were impressed with the amount of it ... there was more than enough and there was a good balance of chips/chicken tough I would have liked more onion. Overall, it we were very happy with the Spice Bags we received and the price was good too ... €8.95.

15/10/2025: The food is lovely but a staff member called Joseph is SO RUDE & dismissive. We order from here all of the time and have never received such bad treatment which is so unfortunate. A lovely girl (I didn’t get her name) she sounded quite young & Irish I think.. took over my order, she was so pleasant to deal with. Thank God! If it wasn’t for that lovely sweet girl we would have never ordered again! I’m giving a 1 star review based off the service from Joseph as his bad service is the reasoning for me leaving this review.

12/11/2025: poped in on the way home form work ordered a pizza and a side order of cookies well wen I say I was presently surprised that was an understatement got home and the pizza was probley the best iv had in a realy long time the side order of cookies with cream are an abousilit must you realy and truly have to try these the service was amazingly fast the staff were super friendly and efficient this shop is a shop I'd highly recommend
