12/08/2026: Genuinely horrible place. I went with my friend (we are both 15) and the workers over charged us and didn't give us all our food. One worker shaked my chair in anger and she was getting in mine and my friends face shaking her hands in out face. I tried to tell her to stop getting mad and just to at least explain what was wrong to us. But all she wanted to do was yell and try to intimidate us. I made it very clear to her that we were both children and that I was overstimulated and stressed. It got so bad to the point my friend was sobbing crying because of the way she was yelling at us. I finally asked to get a refund since we weren't getting anywhere, my friend went up to get the refund and when that happened the other women tried to give out to me alone which I simply told her I didn't want to talk to her. I apologize for the bad grammar but my experience here was genuinely so horrible.

08/08/2026: Lovely staff, but very overpriced food. We went because we didn't have time to shop around with 3 hungry kids in tow, but the food was so, so basic, especially for the price!...crazy expensive for the quality, which was poor, like cheap ingredients with sauces and MSG on top. McDonald's would have been better.

28/04/2026: The nicest cafe I've visited in a long time! Highly recommend 👌 Staff super welcoming and friendly. Food is delicious...I got an omelette that was huge, alongside chips and salad. Seems to be a great variety in the menu, all very reasonably priced, especially for this area! Absolutely spotless in the cafe, toilets 🚻 and everywhere....staff very thoroughly cleaning...I walked out of Burger King, seeing all the food and rubbish, tables not cleared, floors not clean...so glad I did and spotted this little gem. Ill definitely be back. . The staff here work really hard and its very obvious. That's the reason the cafe is busy and I can see there are regular customers whose orders you know off by heart...always a brilliant sign! Thank you so much for such a lovely experience and well done

25/04/2026: The service and my experience is very bad. The coffee I ordered only came when I’m about to finish the food and leave. And the pancake didn’t serve with bacon as it describes on the menu

17/08/2026: This place was very clean and had great service. Although on the pricier side, the atmosphere was great. This place is a great place to get work done and to focus.

02/08/2026: I’ve always had great coffee at other Bear MRKT cafés, so this was disappointing. The coffee itself was good, but for over €4 I’d expect properly textured milk, not just hot oat milk sloshed into the coffee. I noticed the two lattes served before mine were prepared the same way, so it didn’t seem like a one-off. I know Bear mrkt is capable of much better.

22/06/2026: Such a pleasant experience. Was in your store today and was greeted by a staff member Mac. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations and we ended up with the midweek treat and a diablo which was amazing to say the least. Will be back weekly for sure. Brilliant 👏

12/08/2026: Don't get the hype at all after multiple visits. Staff are unsmiling and seem annoyed you're there. Order was wrong 2 times out of the 3 I've visited, it's expensive and portions are tiny including the coffees.

25/08/2026: Coming from a coffee focused city, I’ve had to lower my expectations (and change my coffee order) whilst in Dublin. Coffee from this place was alright, better than other places I’ve tried so far, so I gave it 4 stars, for Dublin standards.

13/08/2026: Stopped here the other morning for coffee and light breakfast. I had a cappuccino which was so good. It had a good kick which I like. I enjoyed my scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and toast. Only one man- the owner I think- on the floor, and he was able to handle it all.

16/08/2026: Avoid this place if you actually want to play pool or table tennis. Visited last night and found total disorganization: tables are monopolized all day, and the staff just doesn't care. When we asked to play, the current players refused and the staff just looked the other way. ​On top of that, pints are astronomically expensive at €10 each. Paying €10 for an overpriced pint just to be blocked from playing anything is unacceptable. Poor service and terrible value for money.
