08/12/2024: Small hotel very well located as it is very close to the river and close to Avenida O'Connell.
The Academy has a correct service, very clean and comfortable rooms as well as a very correct restaurant and breakfast service.
05/11/2024: "Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. The location feels unsafe, as the area is populated with many homeless individuals, and the street itself seems rather uninviting. While the staff members were kind, helpful, and clearly doing their best, it's apparent that they haven’t received adequate training or support from management.
The hotel itself is quite dated, with old furniture that could use some updating. While some of the rooms have been refurbished and are reasonably comfortable, the overall atmosphere feels neglected. Breakfast was enjoyable, but if safety and a more modern experience are priorities, this might not be the best choice."

01/12/2024: I have been to the Shamrock many times over the years and it has never failed to entertain, I really like that the upstairs has been renovated it looks really nice now, the staff are always nice and serve a good pint
11/11/2024: I was in there yesterday with my elderly mother. The carvery is odd, with pre-cut beef and dried out beef pie. It looked awful. Anyway the upside is that the place isn't overrun with small kids. We got 2x small portions of the carvery, which is like canteen food. Nothing special, self service etc. €15 each! Astonishingly expensive. Never, ever again.

01/12/2024: A very nice cafe where they sell coffees of different shapes and also hot drinks and MATCHA!
We ordered a very delicious green smoothie with green vegetables and mango and a Matcha with vegetable milk.
There were many amazing looking breakfasts to try! Let's sign up for the next one.
The bathroom is not wheelchair accessible and it can be a little difficult for a person in a chair to get around the place.
For everything else it is very good.

07/12/2024: Nearly slipped on my way into place because the mental floor panel they have on entrance. I told staff that did have any customer service care whatsoever. I wasn't ask if I was OK.The staff and manager David and rude and disrespectful. Try Nero next door or cool hands coffee shops staff are more welcoming
30/11/2024: Really good food and coffee. I will say sandwich is not filling and over priced.
With coffee and salad or sandwich you could pay close to €14/15. Please please please consider lunch deals! Why not?
Apart from that great staff and coffee!

09/11/2024: I got Granola here the other morning. If you can call it Granola. It was, without doubt, the worst Granola I've ever gotten. Smallest amount of yoghurt. No honey or coule, 2 pieces of fruit and a bowl of bird seed. Tiny little seeds, no nuts, no crunchy bits. It was horrible.

Maravillosos cócteles y personal encantador del que cuando se enteró de que era el cumpleaños de Millie le regalaron un postre y cantaron para ella.
Reservamos la mesa por correo electrónico ya que éramos 7 de nosotros para asegurarnos de que podíamos entrar. Una de nuestras fiestas es tener un bebé y el cóctel que le prepararon fue exactamente el mismo que el de las versiones alcohólicas.
Nos cuidaron de verdad.
Elegimos este lugar, ya que he parado anteriormente en el hotel contiguo.

17/11/2024: Todos sabemos que los cócteles son una estafa y nadie recibe ningún golpe por tu dinero.
Pero cuando el entorno es tan encantador como el club de cócteles Stella dentro del cine Stella no te importa.
El menú era interesante. El personal era atractivo y sabía lo que estaban haciendo y el precio era de aproximadamente 14 € por bebida.
Probamos 5 bebidas diferentes. A la mierda. La gran mayoría eran muy agradables.
Prepárate para bajar 100€ por 6 bebidas.
Sin duda volveré a visitar.
29/10/2024: Terrible service, especially for a cocktail bar. Waitress gave us water but never bothered with menus, we had to get them ourselves. We also had to go up and order the drinks ourselves at the bar (which shocked the bartender who said it was table service). Evetually the waitress delivered our drink with barely a word, never mind an apology. For a place that prides itself on its cocktails and service this place is very lackluster.

28/07/2024: Nice design and great food: I ordered sausages and mashed potatoes without expecting much, and the dish was a very positive surprise! The venue has a nice design too, and there was overall a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, despite one slight issue: we were a party of 9, but only 8 chairs were prepared, and we had to wait quite a bit to get a 9th one.
25/07/2024: Absolutely delicious food. Group ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was very happy. Tomato salad was spectacular. Everything prepared with great skill. Highly recommend.
