30/12/2025: A place that doesn't demand attention, and perhaps that's why it deserves it all. You come here for a proper smash burger, probably the best in Dublin—even if no one will ever say it out loud. The sandwiches are opulent and uncompromising: juicy meat, perfect crust, generously oozing cheese. Burgers that get your hands dirty and leave a lasting impression. The fries, thin and crispy, are impeccable for those who love this style. They don't use pork, but what they do with beef and poultry is top-notch. There's real substance, not just aesthetics. Unlike other city chains that invest heavily in branding, storytelling, and stage presence, here the focus is entirely on the dish. And it's a choice that pays off, for those who recognize quality. The place has a rugged and authentic soul, but there's a practical aspect that deserves attention: the smell of fried food is very persistent and risks ruining the experience. An improvement on this front would help further enhance an already excellent gastronomic offering. I keep returning without hesitation: for me, it remains the best burger in Dublin, even if few are ready to acknowledge that. 🍔

19/12/2025: Changed my original review because service has gone downhill rapidly for delivery orders. Ordered delivery tonight and most of the items missing from the order, tiny amount of beef, no guac, no sour cream, no chips, tiny amount of rice too. They used to be great, but wouldn’t recommend this anymore. Made a complaint about the order and was basically told “sorry, can’t do anything”

30/12/2025: My friend and I came to this restaurant to try something new. We were seated and given menus but were not told how to order. After 15 minutes of waiting, another customer kindly informed us that we had to go to the till ourselves. My friend initially went to the till closest to us and was told to go to a different one, despite other customers being directed to the till she first went to. This immediately felt odd. After ordering, we received our drinks shortly, but our food took an extremely long time. While waiting, the ice in our drinks had completely melted. Customers who arrived well after us were served their food, ate, and left before we received ours. After waiting around 40 minutes, I asked if our order was being prepared. They then apologised and told us to wait another 5 minutes, and only then did our food arrive. After finishing our meal, we asked for a takeaway bag and were told it would be brought to us. We waited another 10 minutes, but it never arrived, so we eventually left, frustrated. As a Black woman dining with my Indian friend, it was impossible not to notice how differently we were treated compared to the native Brazilian customers around us. The repeated neglect and lack of basic service made us feel ignored and unwelcome. I am only a teenager, and this was one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve ever had. I will not be returning, and I’m leaving this review to warn people of colour that you may not be treated equally here.

07/12/2025: The review would be perfect, except for the cold inside. It's a shame, because eating cold sushi makes it even worse. We found it really hard to stand the cold; we ate quickly and left because it was unbearable. It's a pity because the food is very good—the best sushi in Dublin, in my opinion.

26/07/2025: Can't understand how this place is still in business when people's reviews from 3 years ago are exactly the same as mine today. Food is processed crap, the whole place smells like grease, staff look like they'd rather be anywhere else. The toilets are filthy and have no hand dryers or tissue to dry hands.

16/07/2025: Really friendly local café! I went twice in the past week - once just for a coffee close to closing time and once for food. The staff/management were so welcoming and friendly (and were in no rush to kick us out for our evening coffee - thank you)! The smoked salmon and avocado combo was also delicious.

11/12/2025: Foods unreal I live 15 minutes away can’t get a decent chipper near me I drive here to eat off the walls can’t be beaten and the kebabs have plenty of fresh veg not just lettuce

30/10/2025: Possibly best chips in Dublin. Always cooked to order but worth the wait. Good, traditional Irish/Italian chipper. I'm from the country and I always try to call here when I'm up in the big smoke. Always a bit of chat and crack when I'm in there. Highly recommended.

21/12/2025: We visited this restaurant for a Christmas party about two weeks ago. We booked a table for 10 people and were clearly told at the time of booking that it would not be a problem if fewer people turned up. We paid a €100 deposit. On the night, 7 people attended. We ordered the 3-course set menu for everyone, plus a lot of additional drinks and desserts, so the final spend was well above the set menu price (around €45 pp). Unfortunately, the experience was very poor: • Instead of prosecco, we were served a still wine with no bubbles, in a wine glass. When we asked to change it, staff insisted it was prosecco. • Medium-rare steaks arrived well done. • Coffee ordered with desserts was forgotten and never brought. • When the bill arrived, only €70 of the €100 deposit was deducted, with the explanation that fewer people attended. We explained again that it was agreed in advance that fewer people might come, and that we had ordered plenty of extra food and drinks anyway. Staff claimed this policy was written on their website. When I politely asked them to show where this was stated, they could not. At that point, the waitress became aggressive and accused me of being rude, despite my calm tone. Eventually, they came back with a reduced bill. To top it off, another waiter approached our table and told me: “You are not welcome in our restaurant anymore.” Completely unprofessional behaviour, poor service, and unacceptable customer treatment. I would not return and would not recommend this place.

10/12/2025: Lovely restaurant, cosy atmosphere, I’ve been there twice in a group of 20 people for Christmas dinner by 6pm. I had duck roll, grilled sea bass and tiramisu. Food was tasty, service was fast and attentive. I recommend that!

Owner is very friendly and recommended we try the Chicken Cajun flavor. Generous on the toppings, size and great overall pizza! Worth the price as well and most importantly HALAL!
