16/07/2026: Went here today with my friend and our kids and ordered food and drinks for us all staff was rude owner was rude and kept rolling there eyes and moaning about the kids and we only received our food he start giving out about the kids talking loudly kids are kids yeno its not as if they were running around they weren't .we cleaned up everything stacking the plates and left over and water spilled I offered to mop it up but no the rudeness contained never go back again it's for people with no kids. Absolutely a joke after spending over 100 euro never again.

05/07/2026: Great venue with amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. They even helped me with rearranging the room and did the table covers for my event setup, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend this venue. 💯

23/08/2026: Poor management of bar staff. Asked for a vodka blackcurrant and they didn’t actually put any vodka in it. They seen my ID and I seen them spoof me. I will never go back here again! Gerry looked at my ID for almost 5 minutes, I was afraid I wasn’t going to get it back off him! Fix your staff seriously!

12/10/2026: A disappointing experience. We had drinks and food here. We were disappointed at the burger as it appeared more like a rounded meatball inside the bun as opposed to a normal flat patty. This meant most bites were just lettuce, tomato and bun and no meat. Fries were also cold. The service and atmosphere however were very good so I would like to go back and hopefully experience some better food!

26/09/2026: The food was authentic, similar to what you'd find on holiday! The service was very friendly.

21/09/2026: The food was good, but the way we were treated towards the end really ruined the experience!!! Staff came over four or five times “you finished?” asking if we were finished and trying to clear the table while we were still eating. At no point did anyone tell us there was a time limit. Then, they brought us the bill and said they needed the table for other customers. After we paid, a member of staff came over and told us we needed to finish up because we had been there for more than 1 hour and 45 minutes. This was literally the first time we had heard anything about a time limit in my whole life!!!!!!! I completely understand that restaurants get busy and need to turn tables. If we’dbeen told when we arrived that we had the table for 1h45, that would have been absolutely fine. But you can’t expect customers to follow a time limit they’ve never been told about. When I pointed this out, I was told, “I don’t need to tell you. When you come into town, this is normal.” I mean ???? What? That response was honestly what bothered me the most….! I’ve eaten at plenty of restaurants in Dublin and I’ve never assumed there was an unspoken 1h45 rule. If you have a time limit, just tell your customers when they sit down!!!! We would have happily respected it!!!!!! Instead, we were repeatedly rushed and then made to feel like we’d done something wrong for breaking a rule we didn’t even know existed. Really disappointing way to end what had otherwise been a nice meal.

29/08/2026: The best part was the bread....Most of the food was a bit salty. The portions were small but it was OK because no one wanted more anyway.

21/09/2026: Shocking staff behaviour. Older bar man with goatee gleefully shouting out racist "jokes". The younger one with the goatee looks like Peter Dinklage cosplaying as Tony Stark. Was extremely rude despite the average man being able to knock him in the ground like a fence post. Go to Dolly's or Brady's.

04/10/2026: Tasty gluten-free pizza option, and was open late when everything else was closed. Super handy after a long drive to Dalkey! Friendly service too, and easy to order online ahead.

13/09/2026: OMG - Such a good surprise ! Passed by late in the night ( yes they close very late ) and decided to stop , I’ve seen the place before and I’m glad I tried and I’ll definitely come back . Good quality and delicious! Was served by a very kindy girl . Good price too !

20/08/2026: We look forward to our return! The rooms are spacious and the best beds/pillows we encountered on our visit to Ireland from the USA. The soap provided was lovely and the wall mounted dispensers are convenient. Noise was not a concern in the room but there is a fan provided which provides a nice soft white noise when used. The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate a slightly early check in so we could drop our bags off before running to the airport to return our rental car. Though, early check in for the room does often require a fee. The rooms offer air conditioning which we did not encounter anywhere else even at some luxury hotels. The location is fantastic - walking distance to many shops, bars and restaurants. We loved our stay!
