20/10/2025: Great value for money. Of course it's not a typical small pub like the Celt, but for cheap food and a beer, it's perfectly fine and I recommend it.

19/10/2025: Popped in for a Beamish and a pizza. Beautiful building. Pint and a pizza were great. Was busy but staff were fantastic. Friendly door staff too. Recommend.

18/09/2025: I ordered spice bag, green curry with rice and pad thai worth €50 from deliveroo The spice bag had 2 chicken pieces for the price of €13, the green curry came without rice. As mentioned on the note to make it "extra spicy" when the food arrived was completely bland to taste. Apparently the note provided doesn't have any meaning. When contacted the restaurant. They said that deliveroo is responsible for it. Although I believe the money spent is shared among both the parties, that being the restaurant and deliveroo, the delivery partner. Shouldn't the food mishandling be managed by the restaurant? This seems to be outrages for spending €50 on this subpar food. Also when contacted there was no person in charge to log the complain with. I have also mailed about my experience and I haven't received any response yet. Subpar service, food and disappointing experience.

23/07/2025: Alan from catering was extremely helpful and delivered exactly as ordered for a family birthday occasion of an approximately 20 people. I used the catering option as I wanted to serve as quickly as possible from pre-prepared large containers as provided. Both dishes as ordered were excellent, And the crispy chicken went down particularly well with some of the younger crew. Having said that it would’ve been nice to have received a phone call to have given some satisfaction that everything would definitely come on time, and to discuss potentially other options that I may have taken not otherwise likely to be discussed via email. It is questionable as to whether it was better value than ordering from Saba To-Go In the normal manner, However, given the ease of serving up, I felt this was still the easier option. In summary, expensive but good. Many thanks!

08/10/2025: Food always consistently good, staff demeanour depends on their mood. Coffee however is a roll of the dice (amazing if you get one certain barista), undrinkable bubbly muck (anybody else).

07/10/2025: sadly the day i've visited the café they couldn't serve food other than their bakery items. i didn't like the banana bread, it was too soggy and stapled dirty dishes were at every table inside. needless to say, it smelled very badly in the outside sitting area.

23/10/2025: Placed an order, got a text confirming that order was confirmed, went off and done some bits in the house waiting on it to come. Realised it was taking ages so went to check expected delivery time and had a message saying it had been refunded, no reason given, no call or anything. Money still gone from my bank and will probably be a few days before it goes back in. Very poor service.

20/09/2025: People’s Park Café is one of my favourite spots in Dún Laoghaire — the setting is hard to beat, with lovely views across the park and out to the sea. It is the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by. The staff are always so friendly, and when I arrived with a large family group at short notice, they couldn’t have been more helpful. A lovely place to meet friends, bring family or just enjoy a coffee with a view.

26/07/2025: Had breaded chicken there today. Humongous delicious plate and the staff are lovely. They had Bolivian music playing so it felt like being in La Paz. Highly recommend.

27/08/2025: Pretty decent coffee, its either specialty or fresh, either way it is much better than many other places. The atmosphere is really chill, seating outdoors and also a nice makeshift shed for indoor seating, very clean and nice design. No rush on anything, perfect for lunch time coffee or catch up chat with friends or co workers. Only issue is I overheard one of the staff complaining to another about the food while I was ordering, now it wouldnt affect me but it needs to be mentioned as that can be off putting for some people who are looking to order the food! Train your staff to love their workplace and we will love it too.

15/05/2025: A nice spot to grab a coffee while out for a walk with my 1 year old son. Staff really friendly and food reasonably priced. I would highly recommend. Grab a coffees & treats then off for a walk in park..
