The best restaurants in Dublin

23/03/2026: A big mug of coffee. And a seat that's not precariously minimalist but confidently, comfortably sittable in. From Pearse Station to College Green, tho coffee shops be two a penny, you'll find these two of life's comforts nowhere but Starbucks. All other contenders on the block are small, with a sprinkling of tiny stools. The few with actual chairs are full and the chairs don't look very comfortable anyway. And it helps that in Starbucks both the service and the tunes are smooth 👌

05/09/2025: Amazing service. Called in at 9.20am needing 2 new tyres. Sadly, they didn't have the size I required in stock but said they could get them for lunchtime. I was given 4 or 5 different options and made a decision on a couple of Pirelli's. Gráinne called at 3pm to say the tyres were in, I took the car round and had them fitted quickly and efficiently. Price was very reasonable too. Gráinne is a star!

25/03/2026: Came here on Saturday Morning around 11am. It was chaotic, people skipping queue bumping into each other. No one to greet you or let you know where to sit. Got a seat at the window which was a right squeeze. Had to go up after 5mins to ask for a menu for food, waited for a waiter to come to take my order which didn’t happen so had to order at the till which was a mess. Staff ignored me too busy chatting with each other. Food took about 20mins to arrive. No cutlery or sugar for coffee or butter for toast. Went back up to the till and waited 5 mins for some to be ask whats wrong and felt I was in trouble. Staff seem to be all over the place not remembering what people ordered, table numbers or what food has gone out to people. Food was ok, rashers were burnt. Ordered a caramel ice latte ( see photo). Price is good but service could be better! Be prepared to wait and not be in a rush!

01/03/2026: I wouldn’t normally leave a review but the food was so bad and highly priced that I felt strong enough to leave a review., I got the lasagna and my partner got the fish pie. Both dishes were extremely bad. The fish pie was basically a bowl of chowder with a few breadcrumbs and the lasagna was overheated and the tea was cold. I would not recommend at all

09/04/2026: My parents and I went to this place for dinner twice: the first time we ordered a charcuterie board, a vegetarian lasagna, and the soup of the day; the second time my parents ordered an Irish beef burger and I ordered a chicken burger. Everything we ordered was delicious, although I only took a picture of the burger. The quality of the food was evident in every bite. Furthermore, the service was excellent; everyone was very attentive and friendly. I'll be back!

03/02/2026: Popped here for a Sunday brunch….never again! The food was awful, the service was rude and unprofessional, noticed an hair in my food, reported to a waiter an Indian guy I think, the response was shocking! Saying that is that quite usual here!!! Crazy! I won’t came back never again.

02/03/2026: I was pleased by the friendliness of the staff. The atmosphere in the lobby area is cozy and luxurious. Breakfast was good, and the gated private parking is a great addition. Overall, a very positive experience at Pembroke Townhouse.

25/05/2025: It was surprisingly nice! We went at random google search. But the Food was so good! It’s an Italian cafe, they bake fresh ciabatta and it’s so nice! We tried Spicy Chicken & Bacon Sandwich, Lemon Cake & Apple Pie and everything was just gorgeous! And all fresh ingredients… Definitely recommend!

31/01/2026: Love this spot! Amazing Green Thai chicken curry and when paired with their fried rice it was beyond delicious. Also, special shoutout to their black pepper beef. Def see myself coming back for such a cheap but delicious meal!

18/12/2025: Can honestly say i travelled 2hrs 10min from belfast going to kneecap concert and had to call in to this place, which id been to a couple of times last year as i was working in liffey valley. One of the better spice bags ive had as this is almost a delicacy as we dont get them in the north sadly but definitely a shout for a quick fix and curry sauce nice n thick too

15/10/2025: Food in here has become terrible ever since these new owners took over This place. Cleaboy chipper was one of the best chippers in the town by a mile. But ever since these new owners came the food has gone massively downhill especially in the last year or so,Also the price of food in here is absolutely ridiculous for the food that gets served. I highly recommend not to go here as there is plenty of better chipper's in waterford city.

20/09/2025: I only tried the chicken wrap, therefore I can only speak about that. It wasn't bad, but far from the best one I've had. The meat was a little bit too oily for my taste and didn't sit well in my belly. On the other hand, it's not expensive (atm), so that balances a bit. The service was fast, meaning that the staff is doing their best to serve every customer quickly enough. Overall, a good little spot for takeaway, if your expectations are not very high for the price.

18/12/2025: The restaurant is amazing, the food and the presentation of the dishes are beautiful. Excellent flavor and the service is truly very, very good. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area. 🥹

You come here for a proper smash burger, probably the best in Dublin—even if no one will ever say it out loud. The sandwiches are opulent and uncompromising: juicy meat, perfect crust, generously oozing cheese. Burgers that get your hands dirty and leave a lasting impression. The fries, thin and crispy, are impeccable for those who love this style. They don't use pork, but what they do with beef and poultry is top-notch. There's real substance, not just aesthetics. Unlike other city chains that invest heavily in branding, storytelling, and stage presence, here the focus is entirely on the dish. And it's a choice that pays off, for those who recognize quality. The place has a rugged and authentic soul, but there's a practical aspect that deserves attention: the smell of fried food is very persistent and risks ruining the experience. An improvement on this front would help further enhance an already excellent gastronomic offering. I keep returning without hesitation: for me, it remains the best burger in Dublin, even if few are ready to acknowledge that. 🍔

16/12/2025: Food is very good and the place has a nice atmosphere. However, paying 7 euros for a pint of Guinness, you would at least expect it to be a decent pour. I would excuse one bad pint, but I ordered 3 pints in a row, from three different bar staff and each pour was progressively worse than the previous. Guinness is one of the most popular, if not most popular drink orders. The place is lovely, but at least get the basics right and teach staff how to pour a pint of Guinness properly.

10/12/2025: Walked in on a Wednesday night, place wasn’t busy at all but the bartender was so slow to serve us, mainly because he was to busy trying to be cool for his mates. We order 3 whiskey sours that tasted so bad. We just left without finishing our drinks. Don’t recommend it!!
