02/07/2025: Visiting Dunlaoire and Dunphys looked like an authentic Irish pub.
Unfortunately the welcome did not match.
A young tall ginger slapped a sloppy, overflowing, unsettled Guinness on the counter and said that’ll be 6.80 and when I muttered, would you not let it settle he retorted, “do you want it or not”,I replied no and I don’t like your attitude (well I don’t like yours ether, he said !) and I left. (Wed July 2nd)
Got a contrasting reception and a smashing pint of Guinness in The 2 Foxes.
27/06/2025: Came in for some drinks on our holiday with our 3 year old son says no buggies but they didn't mind us storing ours in the door way so long as it wasn't in the way. Great pub lovely old decor and great friendly staff. Had the Ambush Pale Ale was incredible with the glasses chilled in the fridge. 10/10 would get pissed here again.

09/11/2025: The best cafe in Dun Laoghaire and the fact that it is always busy is testament to this. Very good coffee and a wide selection of breakfast/brunch/lunch dishes to suit all diets.

O'Reilly's Bar & Lounge

16/10/2025: They claim to have an accessible toilet, so as a wheelchair user I decided to visit this place. Thought I'd check out the toilet before ordering pints. Turned out to be a wise decision. So called "accessible toilet" was a joke. Tiny little bathroom with a bend in it which was impossible to enter in a wheelchair. Front entrance is accessible and it is on the flat but NO toilet facilities.
11/09/2025: Stopped here on our first night in Dublin and the bartender took great care of us, I managed to leave my wallet sitting on the bar with my ID, cash, cards- the lot, and the bartender kept it safe and got it back to me which absolutely saved my life as I would have been here on holiday two weeks without a wallet - he wouldn't let me give him any cash for getting it back to me either
pub has a great location, nice vibe inside and the bartender is a real angel on earth!

26/07/2025: Can't understand how this place is still in business when people's reviews from 3 years ago are exactly the same as mine today. Food is processed crap, the whole place smells like grease, staff look like they'd rather be anywhere else. The toilets are filthy and have no hand dryers or tissue to dry hands.
16/07/2025: Really friendly local café! I went twice in the past week - once just for a coffee close to closing time and once for food. The staff/management were so welcoming and friendly (and were in no rush to kick us out for our evening coffee - thank you)!
The smoked salmon and avocado combo was also delicious.

Staff need training in customer service ASAP!!!
19/11/2025: Food and drinks rarely meet at your table here – what comes first and when is a total lottery. If you want a salad instead of fries with your burger, you have to go to the bar to ask; it's on the menu, but you can't order it through the app. But it's cheap. A good place for large groups.

26/10/2025: This place has my heart broken! It can be so so good but every now and again The consistency is way off and it’s happened too many times for us now. This evening our pizzas were Underbaked with way more cheese than normal on my wife’s and I paid extra for pineapple on mine and literally got it on one slice. At €45 it’s just not worth the risk anymore
