05/08/2025: Part of the regular rotation and for good reason, food is consistently of good quality, staff are friendly and lovely people, and on the odd occasion there is a mistake, they are very quick to fix it, usually going above and beyond when they do. Thank you for all the lovely pizzas, and many more.

19/11/2025: Food and drinks rarely meet at your table here – what comes first and when is a total lottery. If you want a salad instead of fries with your burger, you have to go to the bar to ask; it's on the menu, but you can't order it through the app. But it's cheap. A good place for large groups.

09/08/2025: What is the point in having a click and collect service if you’re not going to start cooking until i arrive and pay for it? Defeats the whole purpose. Just get rid of it from your website if that’s the case. Said to collect in 15 mins. Waiting the 15 mins for them to cook now. What a joke

09/08/2025: We popped in for breakfast and it was faultless. The staff were so pleasant and unbelievably efficient. The food was delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

16/06/2025: Esto fue una comida para llevar un sábado por la noche. Carne y frijol negro / arroz estaba bien. Los fideos que acompañan al Pollo Szechuan estaban bien. El pollo en este último estaba seco como un hueso, claramente sobrecocinado y se dejó reposar durante horas - estaba bordeando lo no comestible. Llamé al restaurante, saben mi dirección. Hubiera esperado una llamada y/o una disculpa. Cero seguimiento. No lo suficiente.

16/10/2025: They claim to have an accessible toilet, so as a wheelchair user I decided to visit this place. Thought I'd check out the toilet before ordering pints. Turned out to be a wise decision. So called "accessible toilet" was a joke. Tiny little bathroom with a bend in it which was impossible to enter in a wheelchair. Front entrance is accessible and it is on the flat but NO toilet facilities.

11/09/2025: Stopped here on our first night in Dublin and the bartender took great care of us, I managed to leave my wallet sitting on the bar with my ID, cash, cards- the lot, and the bartender kept it safe and got it back to me which absolutely saved my life as I would have been here on holiday two weeks without a wallet - he wouldn't let me give him any cash for getting it back to me either pub has a great location, nice vibe inside and the bartender is a real angel on earth!

15/08/2025: The name Fair Play feels rather ironic after my visit. I popped in hoping to grab a coffee to go, accompanied by my dog. Instead of a warm greeting, I was met with a raised hand from what appeared to be the owner, signalling that I should head outside. I obliged immediately, yet even then I wasn’t offered the chance to purchase a takeaway coffee. A simple, polite explanation would have been appreciated – and frankly, a takeaway option should have been the obvious next step. Sadly, the encounter felt unwelcoming and far from the hospitality you’d expect from a local café.

20/07/2025: The documentary on Mairéad Farrell was both sad and poignant. She was a pretty and intelligent girl who ventured down the wrong path, since violence will never resolve any issue. Mairéad should have been united with the late John Hume's ideology, dedicated to peace. If not, she should have moved from Belfast to Dublin. This is an old conflict that I hope will be resolved.

Sisi's position in Blackrock, is Brilliant, for "People-Watching", from, either, inside or at it's, pavement table. 23/11/2025: Not recommended at all. The food was low quality; I'd be better off making it at home. They didn't have white wine—how can they not have white wine on a Saturday night when they are the most busiest? Unbelievable. The music was very loud; it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Everyone was shouting, and I could barely talk to the person next to me. I'm giving it one star because I can't give it zero. I didn't eat comfortably at all, and I only stayed because I was hungry. To top it all off, the pasta carbonara is supposed to have pancetta, but it wasn't even bacon. The prices are cheap for Dublin, but I wouldn't pay €5 for a dish there. I think that's clear.

22/11/2025: We went on a special occasion, our 16th anniversary, and to be honest was a disappointment. We arrived and the place was very cold, it was a rainy day, heaters were off and people were wearing their jackets. Noticed heater was turned on only much time later. It doesn't feel like a restaurant more like a fast food chain, staff didn't really pay attention, they just seemed all in a hurry to do everything, you feel the pressure to make your order. My husband got the gnocchi and I got the fennel ragu. My pasta was ok, the gnocchi was very blandz it was supposed to be the mushroom but there were none. And gnocchi portion is very small. For starter we took arancini and the bruschetta. When you order a bruschetta you think it might come maybe three small pieces, it's a bruschetta but no, it comes only one small slice of bread for 8 euros, super overpriced. In the end not a very nice experience, not coming back and can't recommend.

30/10/2025: Possibly best chips in Dublin. Always cooked to order but worth the wait. Good, traditional Irish/Italian chipper. I'm from the country and I always try to call here when I'm up in the big smoke. Always a bit of chat and crack when I'm in there. Highly recommended.
