Loose Canon
Dublin
13/04/2025: Does exactly that Cheese and wine
Alternatively you can have Wine and Cheese. Either way a great selection
12/04/2025: This spot operates as both a wine and cheese shop and a very small wine bar, offering a limited selection of plates — mainly cheese, charcuterie, and sandwiches. Cheese options are priced at €10 for a single portion or €18 for a plate of three.
One major drawback is the single queue, shared by both retail customers and those dining in. At busy times, this leads to long waits. Once you place your order, the wine is served immediately — but the pours feel quite small compared to other wine bars. Unfortunately, the food takes noticeably longer to arrive, and by the time our cheese plate reached the table, the glass of wine was nearly finished.
While the selection of cheese and wine seems solid, the combined retail and dine-in setup doesn’t work well in such a small space unless you visit during off-peak hours. With so many better wine bars in the area, I left feeling underwhelmed.

Eddie Rocket's
Dublin
02/04/2025: Friendly staff, fast service. Tasty food and reasonably priced. Enjoyable experience.
23/03/2025: Every time my husband and I visit Eddie Rockets in Blanchardstown Centre, we are warmly welcomed by Shivani, and today was no exception. This review is a testament to her consistently outstanding service. While we greatly appreciate the efforts of the entire team behind the scenes, Shivani’s enthusiasm, warm smile, attentiveness, and natural ability to make guests feel valued truly stand out.
Despite the restaurant being packed, she ensured we were well taken care of without any delays. We also noticed her serving other tables with the same high energy and positivity, which was absolutely contagious. Keep up the fantastic work, Shivani, onwards and upwards!

Rocket's
Dublin
06/04/2025: Ok diner but needed a spruce up. Staff looked tired but trying and bathroom not good.
Food ok but shortened menu from other chains.
03/04/2025: Beautiful place, but the food is too plain compared to Eddie Rocket's

The Good Catch, Dublin Port
Dublin

The Great Wood
Dublin
05/04/2025: Great worth for the bucks. Though the cocktail pitcher was way watered down.
04/04/2025: Great place for a quick lunch in the centre, family friendly and lovely accommodating staff.

McCabes Deli
Dublin
27/03/2025: I highly recommend McCabe's. In a world becoming more and more fancy this is family deli experience I was looking for (travelling alone, just looking for a good Irish breakfast without to much bells and whistles). Even coffee includes. Will come back if around again.
17/11/2024: Great staff, excellent sandwich and coffee.

Jackie's
Dublin
03/01/2025: Spent New Years Eve- advertised as a bottomless bruch’ to turn up and told be told no food. Also before we even started, were told we had to tip 12.5% ontop of what we paid.
Bottomless brunch consisted of two cocktails, beer and mimosas. All pre- made so absolutely no alcohol in them- all syrup.
Awful and would absolutely not recommend.
Atmosphere was falsely advertised- no dj- just embarrassing really. So disappointing.
01/01/2025: We came here on NYE for Bottomless Brunch. It was 35€ for 90 minutes of bottomless drinks which had a selection of drinks including cocktails and beer. The selection was good, the cocktails weren't that strong but we just decided to stick to mimosas and beer which enabled us to get drunk!
Staff were extremely attentive and warm and games were also included in the brunch which was fun. Great music and atmosphere, would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get drunk/predrink on a budget 😊

Village Pizza Dublin
Dublin
07/12/2024: We called ahead to get a last minute table with our baby and were surprised at how lovely and accommodating the staff were even though they were busy with Christmas parties bustling in. We had just been asked to leave Harry Byrnes, (we didn’t realise they no longer serve food and are over 21s) so the friendly welcome in out of the rain was so appreciated. The gentleman from Village Pizza had organised a table for us in the pub, with plenty of space for the pram and a high chair. We ordered two pizzas which were so delicious. There was a bit of a wait but I’m not surprised and they were well worth it. Best pizza we’ve had, really hit the spot. Perfectly cooked with a beautiful chewy crust. Cannot wait to go back. Thanks for a lovely experience
07/12/2024: Delicious pizza and super nice, friendly service 👌🏼 I took chorizo with fresh basil leaves- definitelly reccomand! :)

Dublin
24/03/2025: Brilliant little spot. We always come here for breakfast when we're over from England. They do the best omelette. 👌
08/03/2025: Cannot recommend Oscars enough. The food is lovely but the staff are even better. So welcoming and genuine. Perfect spot to get away from work and grab breakfast or lunch

Zaytoon
Dublin
19/04/2025: Great taste… Experienced multiple times
19/04/2025: Went into Zaytoon in Temple Bar and got the mixed doner – absolutely solid choice. The meat was generous, juicy, and full of flavour – a great mix of chicken and lamb. I got it with garlic and chili sauce, which gave it a nice bit of heat without being too much.
It’s not wrapped like a kebab roll – it comes open on a plate with a soft, fresh pita on the side to scoop everything up. Really satisfying, and the portion was big enough to leave me properly full.
Staff were friendly and service was quick even though it was busy. Definitely a great spot for a casual bite in the city centre. I’ll be back for sure.

Costa Coffee
Dublin
17/03/2025: Inside and outside Big space - around and inside I ordered coffee and first question O can use your CostaCoffeeClub points for free coffee :)
14/03/2025: Costa Coffee in Inchicore is a handy spot if you need a quick coffee or a place to sit for a while. It’s the usual Costa setup—plenty of seating, a mix of regulars and people passing through, and a relaxed enough atmosphere.
The coffee is consistent, and there’s a good selection of snacks and sandwiches if you’re hungry. Service is generally quick, though it can get busy at times. If you’re after a reliable cup of coffee in the area, it does the job.

Alfies
Dublin
04/04/2025: Such a cool place, I loved the decor and the vibe, the bar and the restaurant area are separated which is perfect for keeping a calm atmosphere. The food came out very quickly, everything was fresh and tasty 😋 the servers were incredibly nice and the cocktail deals are such a steal! 🙌🏻 I recommend ordering something frozen, like a daquiri since the glasses are pretty small so you'll have more time to enjoy it 💙
04/04/2025: Amazing food and value for money for lunch special €10. I had crispy dumplings(gyozas), chicken burger and french fries. It delicious. Didn’t think this price range existed in Dublin anymore.
