12/10/2025: Never again, very nice staff and good location, but the room is so small. We had booked for 3 people, we were expecting to have a bed and sofa bed but not a "2 flore bad". This should be advertised correctly to a customer's before booking!

20/11/2025: Absolutely terrible staff are so rude no manners look miserable speak to customers like crap my drink tasted off so I went to change it i got spoken to terrible am visiting from Liverpool and I've never experienced a weatherspoons like this!! Staff need training in customer service ASAP!!!

19/11/2025: Food and drinks rarely meet at your table here – what comes first and when is a total lottery. If you want a salad instead of fries with your burger, you have to go to the bar to ask; it's on the menu, but you can't order it through the app. But it's cheap. A good place for large groups.

Sisi's position in Blackrock, is Brilliant, for "People-Watching", from, either, inside or at it's, pavement table. 30/10/2025: Possibly best chips in Dublin. Always cooked to order but worth the wait. Good, traditional Irish/Italian chipper. I'm from the country and I always try to call here when I'm up in the big smoke. Always a bit of chat and crack when I'm in there. Highly recommended.

29/08/2025: Best quality chipper in the area and the staff are great. Had an issue once in the last 7 years and the owner was a gent and gave full refund.

05/06/2025: The Melon Martini cocktail was overly sweet and lacked balance. On the bright side, the appetizer—a goat cheese tartine with fig and prosciutto—was outstanding: flavorful, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The cod was cooked to the right texture but unfortunately quite bland. The pancetta dish also leaned too sweet, and the accompanying cream lacked depth of flavor. The Garden Room itself is bright and airy with a lovely view, and the staff were excellent—attentive and welcoming.

05/08/2025: Part of the regular rotation and for good reason, food is consistently of good quality, staff are friendly and lovely people, and on the odd occasion there is a mistake, they are very quick to fix it, usually going above and beyond when they do. Thank you for all the lovely pizzas, and many more.

16/06/2025: Esto fue una comida para llevar un sábado por la noche. Carne y frijol negro / arroz estaba bien. Los fideos que acompañan al Pollo Szechuan estaban bien. El pollo en este último estaba seco como un hueso, claramente sobrecocinado y se dejó reposar durante horas - estaba bordeando lo no comestible. Llamé al restaurante, saben mi dirección. Hubiera esperado una llamada y/o una disculpa. Cero seguimiento. No lo suficiente.

16/10/2025: They claim to have an accessible toilet, so as a wheelchair user I decided to visit this place. Thought I'd check out the toilet before ordering pints. Turned out to be a wise decision. So called "accessible toilet" was a joke. Tiny little bathroom with a bend in it which was impossible to enter in a wheelchair. Front entrance is accessible and it is on the flat but NO toilet facilities.

11/09/2025: Stopped here on our first night in Dublin and the bartender took great care of us, I managed to leave my wallet sitting on the bar with my ID, cash, cards- the lot, and the bartender kept it safe and got it back to me which absolutely saved my life as I would have been here on holiday two weeks without a wallet - he wouldn't let me give him any cash for getting it back to me either pub has a great location, nice vibe inside and the bartender is a real angel on earth!

15/08/2025: The name Fair Play feels rather ironic after my visit. I popped in hoping to grab a coffee to go, accompanied by my dog. Instead of a warm greeting, I was met with a raised hand from what appeared to be the owner, signalling that I should head outside. I obliged immediately, yet even then I wasn’t offered the chance to purchase a takeaway coffee. A simple, polite explanation would have been appreciated – and frankly, a takeaway option should have been the obvious next step. Sadly, the encounter felt unwelcoming and far from the hospitality you’d expect from a local café.
