The best restaurants in Dublin

20/11/2025: Delicious food and great service! This was our last restaurant after traveling around Ireland for 12 days and it was a perfect final dinner!

14/11/2025: After my graduation ceremony, we went to the Liberties Gate Bar, and it was such a lovely experience. I didn’t pay much attention to the interior, but the service and cocktails were genuinely excellent. Our bartender Muhammed Enes Orel made fantastic drinks. I had a Pornstar Martini, which was delicious, and after asking he even explained why it’s served with a prosecco shot on the side. My brother and my boyfriend ordered whiskey-based cocktails (not usually my taste), but they were both absolutely thrilled with theirs. Super friendly service, great drinks, and the perfect place to celebrate a special day.

24/12/2025: Good coffee, good service. The no substitution on food was pretty poor for a standard café

23/11/2025: The mexican eggs were so delicious, and the people I was with enjoyed their brekkies too, pancakes and a mini irish. Coffee was done beautifully, though it was on the pricier side. Cute cozy little spot!

08/12/2025: Used to be regular in killester supervalu. This one pales in comparison. But only option in walkable distance.

23/11/2025: Great local, Irish music and a cracking pint

30/10/2025: I ordered the biscoff brownie and biscoff cookie sandwhich, the brownie tasted stale like it had been sitting out for a good while, the cookie sandwich was nice but didnt taste like biscoff at all, very little biscoff inside cookie, mostly just this cream filling.

06/10/2025: We bought a cake for my sons first birthday and I couldn’t of been happier how it turned out the size of the cake the price of the cake and how nice it was could not argue about anything we will defiantly be ordering here again

18/08/2025: Great atmosphere yesterday in there for Oasis, real pity about the older gentleman working behind the bar. Ive never seen someone as rude behind a bar, was there all afternoon and watched him have a go at 2 or 3 people for nothing, called one customer a gobshite. I couldnt believe it, he has to own the place for the way he carried on. Crazy, no way an employee would have been let carry on the way he did.

13/08/2025: A great bar. Didn't have the food but it looked lovely. Pub and toilets are spotless. Bar staff attentive and engaging.

26/03/2026: Came here for breakfast a few times while visuting. It's a nice friendly little cafe. Very good oat milk latte, perfect poached eggs,good bacon and sausages. The mushrooms are the highlight. I don't know what they're doing but these mushrooms are fantastic. A little chewy and crispy around the edges and with a rich savory flavor. Just delicious. The black pudding is a little better than usual. It has some extra herb flavor. You can get excellent Irish brown soda bread if you ask, instead of the ordinary toast. The only things I don't recommend are the hash browns and the onion rings. They both seem like boxed frozen. The onion rings in particular are onion-flavored batter all the way through, not actual onion. Get the mushrooms instead.

19/03/2026: Strange attitude from lady with glasses. I had only sat down ordered tea toast. When she abruptly approached my table and questioned was I waiting for someone. She continued to question was I hear for breakfast. I told her I ordered tea toast. But this did not quell her questioning she continued to asked was it breakfast tea.At this point I refused to continue any further discussion with her. One thing is walking through the wrong door. But its worse entering a restaurant where your presence is not appreciated.Never again would i visit this establishment.I think she should go and do a attitude course.

25/08/2025: Love this place for years. Unfortunately bar staff Steve came in pints are not the same so the customers say.

22/08/2025: Was there for all ireland football final .. didn't open untill 1230 .. can't believe they don't look for exemption for the 2 finals .. people queuing outside for 2 hours to get in ..

01/11/2025: Usually butlers is top quality but for the last 4 months I’ve been getting our coffees here and the quality is so poor. Lattes and cappuccinos are being served piping hot, as if it’s being made at the wrong temperature. This makes the coffee go flat quickly so there’s no foam it just has the appearance of an instant coffee. The iced drinks are also coming 3/4 of the way full and taste watered, every time I’ve gotten one it’s either had no syrup, or they made me the wrong version of what I asked. I know some would say it’s not that deep, but for almost €6 a pop I would expect high quality considering other butler cafes never deliver this low of quality I know it’s not the brand however it’s definitely this particular branch or team.

06/11/2025: Had takeaway. The seating area seemed nice and clean, but wasn't in long enough to get a good feel for it. The food was good, but the order got messed up and we one dish was lost. Double checking the bag would've been a good idea.

04/10/2025: I used to have a 5 star review on this place, however yesterday they completely ignored my dietary requirements and put mayo on my burguer. This is serious because i can’t eat egg. They refused to refund.

29/09/2025: I had this recommended by someone I usually trust on Instagram but was thoroughly disappointed. The buns are dry and quite hard, the pattys lack a proper Maillard crust while having several tendons in them. The burger tasted of something I can best describe as fish sauce (?). The staff was friendly though but I can't recommend a visit here, unfortunately.

16/03/2026: Had breakfast here, 10/10 looks like a great spot for a drink also.

15/03/2026: This was a gathering after my father's funeral. The staff were truly excellent during this difficult time. Can't say enough about the care and attention they took. I thought the pricing was very fair too. The beef was very good.

06/01/2026: Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed permanently. It will be sadly missed by regular happy customers. See my review below: The best breakfast / lunch restaurant in Monkstown bar none. Everything on the menu is delicious it’s so hard to choose. Super service too! I’m a regular and always will be. Highly recommend an early G&T.

06/12/2025: 3 stars max because the place is cosy and the coffee is good, but I wouldn’t return there for the brunch menu…branch menu is just average and not a good value for money.
