The best restaurants in Dublin

08/07/2026: It was very busy, but efficient staff. Better cleanliness of tables and ladies toilets would be appreciated.

30/06/2026: The rebrand has made it bad. I tried twice using the electronic menu and it failed to give me the option to get the meal instead of the single burger. Even trying to just order it from the counter, both tillers during 2 seperate days could not hear me when I tried multiple times to say the order any louder. At least just fix the electronic menu or just put people that can listen behind the till please. It's all I ask.

14/07/2026: Great onion rings and curry cheese chips. They were friendly and accommodating even though we ordered just before close.

30/06/2026: To the people in the area and the people who have tried this place will know I'm right when I say this is not a nice chipper it looks the real deal but the food is awful the kebab meat is rotten they fool you with the sauces to think there nice but a weird taste the wraps are like flatbreads the chips are very bad quality batter sausage are nice the chicken is nice but it's pumped with water curry sauce is not nice the pizzas is not nice i know people will still eat it because it's local and handy to get too but when you try top quality chippers then eat this you will know the difference spring roll is grease fest in my opinion 4 out 10 dirrthhhhh

16/07/2026: They call this coffee. I'd call it a slap in the face. Coffee that looks like this should be hidden under a lid out of shame, not served to customers!

27/06/2026: I came this morning and was amazed, lovely lady was managing all customers on her own. Top customer care, service and quaet nice atmosphere. Gorgeous variety of cold coffee drinks. Highly recommend.

He was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations and we ended up with the midweek treat and a diablo which was amazing to say the least. Will be back weekly for sure. Brilliant 👏

13/08/2026: The food was very good and the service excellent. They serve the food very quickly. The spicy chicken and potatoes (not too spicy) were the best. The restaurant is small; it can fit about 16 people at most.

13/08/2026: The Rice dish was boring, the fries were greasy mush, had a fishy taste, prbably made in the same oil as everything else and thus definetely not vegetarian. Most overrated eatery.

22/04/2026: A small, 3-star hotel in an excellent location. It has been renovated and offers reasonable rates. Bus, tram, and train stops are just steps away. Temple Bar is about a 15-minute walk. The room was fine, clean, and the staff was very attentive, bilingual, and helpful. They provide a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener, and biscuits, which are replenished as needed. The bathroom has soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The towels are good quality. There's a hairdryer, a small but functional wardrobe, and a safe. The only downside is that the bus station is directly across the street, and you can sometimes hear noise. It might also give the impression of being a somewhat unsafe area because there's a homeless shelter nearby; people wander around but don't bother anyone. To get to and from the airport, you can use the Dublin Express, the Xpress, or bus 41, all of which stop a short walk from the hotel.

13/07/2026: Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Order wasn’t delivered though claimed it was. Tried to explain this on the phone but couldn’t comprehend the issue. Kept saying it was delivered and nothing could do on their end. Kept pushing it back on us instead of finding a resolution and twice hung up on the phone. So disappointing as normally so good. The supervisor on really let the restaurant down.

10/07/2026: I ordered chicken with cashew and steamed rice.. food and service were excellent but the smell of the place wasn’t..

22/03/2026: My recommendation is not to stay in this hotel or not to support this hotel in any way. It has 2 floors open to the public the rest of the hotel is for the International Protection Accommodation Service (IPAS). Such a pity I used to love this hotel and its location for work purposes. Very sad to see it operating in this fashion - taking taxpayers money etc.

15/03/2026: Held event & team were amazing. The room is big without being too big. A lot nicer than standard conference room you get in hotel.

15/07/2026: We ended up here twice during our trip, which probably says it all. The first night was excellent, and the second was somehow even better. I'm still not entirely convinced the singer wasn't actually Paolo Nutini himself. The live music was absolutely brilliant and made for a fantastic night. The drinks were great, the atmosphere was lively without feeling overwhelming and everyone we met was really friendly. Even the gentleman looking after the toilets was an absolute legend and deserved a mention. If you're looking for a late-night spot in Dublin with great live music and a brilliant atmosphere, I'd highly recommend this place.

04/07/2026: The place looks nice, the music is good, I was in there for the first time and unfortunetly the last recently, i was up at the bar, it was busy, i asked for a vodka and mixer, the bar staff person , had charged me, gave me the vodka, and moved on to the next two orders, when he was done with them, I called him over and told him he forgot my mixer, he gave it to me great, I went outside, came back in with two others to get shots, i was told by the tall bar mna with linger brow hair, i had enough, the managers back them up. I asked the managers for a reason Male manager pleasent to deal with, brow hair femail manager is ignorent and shouldnt be in a mangerial role that involves dealing with the public, as noted by others before me in the reviews, all they siad was they thought i had enough and had the right not to serve me anymore, i asked them why, I was able to speak clearly, i wasnt stumbling and wasnt causing any trouble, the only thing i done, was highlighted the bar staff forgot to serve my mixer with the drink. yet, the only response i got, is that they reseve their right under licnece not to serve me. still with no valid reason as to why they thought i had enough, i do belive they should have the right t stop serving, but they should legally be required to give a valid reason, other then we resever the right not to serve you !!!
