17/05/2026: This has to be the most professionaly run bar I have been in a long time. I was there with family on a very busy day and the management and especially the floor staff guys were so patient and helpful to any wishes on the day. If you want to experience a bar of this caliber then go to the Wishing Well. You won't regret it 👋

05/04/2026: IdleWild is one of those cosy Dublin spots that gets it right: moody lighting, stylish interiors, solid pints and simple comfort food. The pint + toastie deal for just €8 was definitely a highlight and great value for money.

30/03/2026: Great little bar, especially worth a visit for the pint and toastie deal, as it only costs 8 euros per person. Ham & Cheese and Chicken are the choices. The Guinness was also prepared with great care 😊

10/07/2026: Proper Dublin boozer. Immaculate pints and a Proper pub feeling. It has rejected trendy fads and is a place for a pint and newspaper or some drinking in memorial of a friend who has passed.

18/05/2026: Good music, good place, good drinks. The only problem we had was with the blond staff member you encounter when they check your entry at the door (once you're already inside). Around 1 a.m., we left the club for a while, and then, when we were about to go back in, this guy started yelling at us because we'd gone into the wrong queue, and he forced us to queue with the people who hadn't yet entered. When we finally got inside, he complained that we had entered through a staff-only entrance (which wasn't marked at any point), he yelled at us again and made us queue all over again. Everything else was fine; I recommend the place, had a good time, but be careful with some of the staff.

09/02/2026: Excellent service , seating area and a really tasty full Irish for €13.50. Wasn’t mad on the white pudding , but everything else was perfect . Highly recommended.

22/08/2026: Very disappointing experience, mainly because of the service. I asked for the smoked salmon plate without capers or pickles and was told, quite condescendingly, that this wasn’t possible because they were “in the cream.” When the plate arrived, they were clearly just sprinkled on top. When I politely pointed this out while paying, the waitress was again dismissive and condescending rather than simply acknowledging the mistake. The ham and cheese toastie was also cold and bland. Overall, poor food made much worse by unnecessarily rude and condescending service.

18/08/2026: There are 2 entrances to this cafe, which can make life difficult for the staff. We came in through the museum entrance and were immediately shown to a table and given menus. However, we then had around a 10 minute wait for the waiter to come back to take our order. The food arrived fairly quickly and was delicious. The cafe could do with more staff as there were only 3 on duty when we were there. One looking after the coffee machine, another girl and a man, who appeared to be the manager, trying to look after the customers, take orders, serve, meet n greet and take payment. It took another 6 minutes to pay the bill as the staff were busy doing other things. By the time we left, there was a queue of patrons waiting to be shown to a table, whilst there were a number of empty tables available. There is also a very nice courtyard which must have been very busy during the recent hot weather. We will be back.

02/08/2026: We have been to Note twice now and on each occasion we have left feeling so glad we came. Lovely atmosphere, fabulous food and excellent service…particular shout out to the lovely Ali who adds that special friendliness and professionalism. Would highly recommend for casual seating or drop in to the bar if you want less formal experience. PS hooks under the bar for handbags would be welcomed and maybe a “special of the day” for regulars who would like a change from small menu…not a criticism at all but just suggestions

28/07/2026: Very expensive. Main course was a few small slices of undercooked lamb on a green barley mush. The desert was good raspberries and a yoghurt sauce.My companions had a lamb kofta and monkfish pieces a few glasses of wine a bit of chocolate cake.220 Euro s for 3 small amounts of food for 3 people.Oh and we had bread for1 aswell

18/08/2026: Got a chicken salad box and a coronation chicken sandwich for lunch €26:45. The salad box was basically lettuce leaves and some chicken. Pretty tasteless and didn’t taste of anything good at all. The chicken sandwich was awful. It fell apart and had the barest minimum of ingredients. Definitely won’t be going back again.

02/06/2026: The Bar With No Name is a great spot for cocktails and has a unique atmosphere. It feels like a large, laid-back speakeasy with plenty of character and a fun crowd. I had a gin-based cocktail that reminded me of a Gin Sour, along with a Neck Oil beer, and both were excellent. The cocktails were well balanced and the drinks menu offered plenty of variety. It's the kind of place that works equally well for a date night or an evening out with friends. The only downside was the wait for drinks. Even on a Thursday night, service at the bar was quite slow, and it took a long time for cocktails to arrive. If you're visiting with a larger group, be prepared to be flexible. There are couches and larger tables available, but the venue is clearly popular, and finding a place to sit or even stand together can be challenging once it gets busy. Overall, a stylish and lively cocktail bar with great drinks, a relaxed vibe, and a cool speakeasy feel. Just arrive early if you're hoping to secure a good spot.
