The best restaurants in Dublin

09/08/2025: What is the point in having a click and collect service if you’re not going to start cooking until i arrive and pay for it? Defeats the whole purpose. Just get rid of it from your website if that’s the case. Said to collect in 15 mins. Waiting the 15 mins for them to cook now. What a joke

09/08/2025: We popped in for breakfast and it was faultless. The staff were so pleasant and unbelievably efficient. The food was delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

18/05/2025: Stopped in for a coffee and a sandwich. The toasted chicken pesto sandwich did not disappoint. It was stuffed full of pesto chicken, cheese and sun dried tomatoes. Pricing was fair compared to the rest of the town. Service was extremely friendly and fast. They had various other items for sale and they had a bathroom for customers too.

26/04/2025: Another lovely cafe where I pop into after my sea swims. Staff are very friendly and coffee is lovely :) they also have a nice range of takeaway meals, sambos etc :) the vegetarian lasagne was beyond palatable! Especially with a nice cucumber salad as a side that I made :)

11/08/2025: Great value for bagels! I had their Californian bagel for under €8 and it was great! Now, for me, a tiny stomach girlie this portion was perfect but if you have a bigger appetite then you might need 2 bagel sandwiches. The bacon in my bagel was a bit dry but other than that it was all good for the price and it was a quick turnaround and they are made fresh and the staff are lovely too!

01/11/2025: Very affordable place with generous portions and delicious food. I personally thought the four-cheese pizza was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful ☺️ I'll definitely be back during my stay in Ireland

06/12/2025: I used to have a 5 star review, their baked potatoes where one of my go to meals, but recently they have made some changes making it smaller and less ingredients please check the pictures of what it used to look like vs what it looks like now, making a product smaller or cheaper isn’t the way to cut costs, its a sure way to loose customers…

26/11/2025: I was a bit skeptical about trying this place after reading some of the reviews, but we needed a quick dinner and decided to give it a shot. We ordered the Deluxe Kebab Doner and a veg pizza, and both tasted excellent. The kebab was especially good—flavorful, generous in portion. It exceeded our expectations and really suited our taste buds. We did a takeaway, and while the food was great, the service staff felt a bit nonchalant and unwelcoming. Still, for the kebabs alone, I’d definitely go back!

09/10/2025: As a Dutch tourist who was told about "spicebags" i ofcourse was interested in trying it. And i LOVED the food, the chickenballs were nice and crispy on the outside and we're nicely cooked inside. The fries we're just right and had the right amount of veggies and spicy peppers. 10/10 if i ever come back I'd visit them again

07/09/2025: Order food ask no mushrooms and pepper, get home and what do you have exactly what you didn't want, ruined my night, course I can't go back and ask for my money 🤬🤬🤬🤬 won't be back.

23/11/2025: Zero stars! Ordered two polo bowels and they were uneaten due to excessive hot spices even though mild was requested. It was like they dumped a jar of cayon pepper in the bowel. It was that bad It went into the bin.

19/11/2025: It was my first time visiting the place, so I needed some help to understand how everything worked. I really liked the atmosphere and the staff, especially Evelin, who was very patient in helping me choose and put together my meal. I highly recommend visiting and getting to know the place.

12/10/2025: Visited here with my partner and baby. He ordered Lasagna, the lasagna was stone cold in the middle with hard cheese on top. We had to return it to the kitchen and he felt stomach turned so didn’t request new food. I ordered fish and chips, the chips were nice but the fish was slimy and wet, I thought this was normal as it was hot right through. I felt so sick shortly after my food for the whole night. So disappointing…. We also waited 30 mins for a menu my partner had to go twice and ask, also left waiting 5 mins on knifes and forks. Awful food and service.

23/11/2025: Not recommended at all. The food was low quality; I'd be better off making it at home. They didn't have white wine—how can they not have white wine on a Saturday night when they are the most busiest? Unbelievable. The music was very loud; it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Everyone was shouting, and I could barely talk to the person next to me. I'm giving it one star because I can't give it zero. I didn't eat comfortably at all, and I only stayed because I was hungry. To top it all off, the pasta carbonara is supposed to have pancetta, but it wasn't even bacon. The prices are cheap for Dublin, but I wouldn't pay €5 for a dish there. I think that's clear.

22/11/2025: We went on a special occasion, our 16th anniversary, and to be honest was a disappointment. We arrived and the place was very cold, it was a rainy day, heaters were off and people were wearing their jackets. Noticed heater was turned on only much time later. It doesn't feel like a restaurant more like a fast food chain, staff didn't really pay attention, they just seemed all in a hurry to do everything, you feel the pressure to make your order. My husband got the gnocchi and I got the fennel ragu. My pasta was ok, the gnocchi was very blandz it was supposed to be the mushroom but there were none. And gnocchi portion is very small. For starter we took arancini and the bruschetta. When you order a bruschetta you think it might come maybe three small pieces, it's a bruschetta but no, it comes only one small slice of bread for 8 euros, super overpriced. In the end not a very nice experience, not coming back and can't recommend.

14/12/2025: Location was central. Smack in the middle of everything. The room was spacious, clean and guarantees a good night sleep. Tbf, it was a Saturday (7/12/2025-9/12/2025) but we didn’t hear any noise despite facing the main road. Only grouse would be , for the amount paid, as it was indeed winter, the room didn’t have a heater which was rather inconvenient as you’d need to have your sweater on all the time. Otherwise, everything was great, the front desk were really good just a little uncoordinated at times as we got varying information about laundry pick up which meant we couldn’t do laundry because of their misinformation.

12/12/2025: In general, nobody should stay in temple bar. The noise is so bad and in my case my room was towards a side street but some alarm went off and it was going for 1 hour at 3am and despite calling the reception and asking them to get it fixed, they didn’t feel responsible. So I just would advice anyone coming to Dublin to not stay in this area or hotel because even though they give you ear plugs it’s not enough and you won’t survive the night.

21/10/2025: Lovely place friendly staff and customers. Only our second time here and we're made to feel like locals. Keep doing what you're doing it's working.
