Was going there for years and used to be great but now very disappointing! —- I know your in middle of renovations, but portion for chicken supreme was pigeon leg sized and in red wine gravy and mash… ehh and chicken supreme is usually in a white creamy sauce? Too expensive shrink-flationed portions! Bridges burnt won’t return.

14/03/2025: Excellent service and good portion sizes with fish and chips 🍟 they always add extra sauce in the Taco 🌮 trays and quickly rectify any issues, which rarely happens! 😀 I have tried other takeouts in Clondalkin, but Darius is always the best 👌 👍 Thanks all 🤩 from a long time customer!

30/01/2025: A truly stunning classic afternoon tea which is presented very luxuriously. Perfectly crafted pastries. Delicious scones with the appropriate spreads. The patisserie is also very notable with the delicious desserts at the top of the etagere. The classic sandwiches were also delicious. Also a very good and high quality selection of tea. The afternoon tea is a little more expensive, but everything is handmade and you can order as much as you want. Very good friendly service and nothing is missing. A must visit for anyone who wants to enjoy a classic but luxurious afternoon tea.

12/02/2025: I’m Turkish and there is a Turkish man which he is probably manager or the owner of the place. He was swearing to the staff and he was so rude to the customers as well. Never again!

31/01/2025: Ray is the cutest bear ever! Has the greatest sense of humour always cheers me up on my darkest days when I come in. 💙Gary is a legend of a chef always smiling. The young woman with red hair always has a smile on her face. They don't get enough credit for dealing with spoiled little rich students every day!

26/02/2025: Lovely place and Insomnia has my favourite coffee, I always get the same order (large ICED Caramel Macchiato)… I asked for the same thing and an apple pie, only to be served the hot Caramel Macchiato… I politely asked the lady and told her I said ICED and she says “oh true, you did say iced” then proceeded to put ice in a plastic cup and literally pour the hot coffee over that ice (is that even safe?) and gave me that.. told me to give it a minute and it will be iced?! In the moment I thought it was weird but I was in a rush so I took it…. HUGE mistake.. coffee was lukewarm and foam from the hot coffee made an awful reaction with the ice that melted straight away… absolutely disgraceful coffee for 5.70€.. if this ever happens to you DON’T TAKE THE COFFEE 🙏

02/04/2025: Great neighborhood pub. Food was tasty, staff were friendly and nothing was a problem.

01/04/2025: Sadly, closed its doors for the last time on the 31st of March 2025. Will be demolished from the 13th of April. Hopefully a pub will return to the iconic location in the summer of 2027 🙏

07/03/2025: Bacalao fresco bañado en masa solo cuando se pide. No conozco ningún otro lugar que haga esto en Dublín además del castillo de Clontarf. Definitivamente hace un cambio agradable tener una masa crujiente ligera y no (estupendo) masa gruesa para ser encontrado. Estaba delicioso, un montón de buenas patatas fritas y guisantes mushy. ¿Alguien ha estado en Scampi’s en Tenerife? Igual que allí. No puedo recomendar Macari 66 lo suficiente!
