Half of the order is missing, and this is second time this restaurant has messed up my order in such way. I will not be giving it third opportunity to mess it up like this. Avoid at all costs.

14/11/2024: Delightfully crispy chicken in the snack box, chips are fluffy but a little under done for me. Place is spotless and service is prompt , definitely a great place to get supper / lunch while waiting for nct
27/10/2024: Been going for years but notice lately the food standard seems to be slipping.. had food from here this week and it was sub par. The chips were like warm and sweaty and more bits than chips. . The cod portion is much smaller. The prices have increased. It was disappointing as it’s always been a great chipper.

15/12/2024: I ordered for the 1st time here & NEVER AGAIN,bc my chicken burger was partially cold ASWELL as my battered mushrooms! My poor Sons food,which was a kebab &chips was SO SMALL THEY WOULD Have ONLY FED A SPARROW! Had to order another load of food as 🫵 your food was a DISGRACE &the LACK of food was a JOKE 👎
15/12/2024: ordered here today, got a kebab and chips and the picture really says it all itself. The size was the smallest i’ve ever seen, wouldn’t even feed a child, and the bag of chips were barely full either. The actual food was good but tiny portions for prices. The kebab was €8… never again.

24/11/2024: Not sure what happened with this spot.
Some years back it used to be great coffee and good pastries. Then they changed to cheap coffee over covid and the quality never improved again, although with the shift towards bakery it was still a good spot, with subpar coffee but great pastries.
Every now and then that nostalgia will bring me back but today I paid a fortune for a carrot & rocket sandwich in stale bread to a cashier that didn't really want us there.
I hope whatever the new location is will bring back the old standards.
17/11/2024: My go to place for pastries - cinnamon bun, coffee walnut bun, almond croissant, the cookies… I’ve had them here many times and was never disappointed.

04/12/2024: Grounded is the best neighbourhood coffee shop in the area. Coffee is great, food is consistently good and the service always comes with a smile. Plus it’s like the Leinster Rugby hideout. Likely to see a few well known Internationals. Also, it’s dog friendly so all in all a winner!

10/12/2024: There is a need of improvements regarding cleanliness and speed of service. The tables felt a bit sticky, and the floor seemed like it hadn't been swept recently. A more thorough cleaning routine would greatly enhance the overall atmosphere. The wait time for orders was longer than expected, which impacted the experience.

17/07/2024: We hired one of the pedal buses for my hen party last weekend and had a brilliant time! It was so fun to do something different than the usual hen party activities and it also meant we were taken to different bars which we might have missed if we had been wandering round on our own. CJ was a brilliant 'pilot' - really friendly, chatty and funny and made the whole experience even better!
Added bonus is you connect your phone to their speakers so can play all your own choice of music on the way round, and there's space for dancing in the middle of the bus if you're lucky enough that your friends let you off with pedalling!
Just be prepared for a sore bum the next day if you're not used to cycling 🤣

26/11/2024: Was this some kind of a joke?!?! Don’t order the 50/50 unless you want onion rings that look like they were gathered underneath the deep fryer. Absolutely disgusting!
30/10/2024: I was really disappointed to see a much smaller menu than what im used to seeing in Rockets. I found it much more difficult to decide on what I wanted as all the best stuff was gone from the menu.

22/11/2024: Friendly staff and tasty salad bowl. Beans and rice was great, so was the pulled pork it was topped with.
14/11/2024: Fresh and delicious salads are prepared here and you can put them together according to your own taste. The ingredients taste really fresh, although the price is a bit high for what you get. Otherwise, a good snack bar that places a lot of value on sustainability.

19/10/2024: Stumbled across this place just tonight…was hungry and thought manor street has good food…went in got a mixed kebab and probably nicest kebab I’ve ever had.manager (maybe owner) wasn’t happy with my sauce choices so gave me separate meat in container to try his recommendations.i tried while in shop and was a beautiful mint sauce…would definitely recommend and will be back for sure
