The best restaurants in Dublin

03/01/2026: Got a spice bag off of deliveroo and it was the worst spice bag I’ve ever had. The chips were soggy and chicken was very clearly from the freezer. We counted two pieces of pepper and onion in the whole bag and to top it off they gave me two spice bags. Coke was also gone off and flat in the tin. The curry sauce had separated in the container and tasted like O’Donnell’s cheap sauce from the supermarket. Something so simple could be done so much better :(

19/11/2025: The chips were a bit dry, even though I asked for salt and loadsss of vinegar. The kebab in pita bread was also very spicy than I expected.🥵 Overall, I don’t really see the hype, so I wouldn’t be rushing back. :/

28/03/2026: Nice location, great, fast and gentle service. Why the score? Well, you are supposed to eat in there, I heard positive and negative opinions about the food, it seems like the latest were the correct ones. Simply a pizza and fries. Fries were good, but they are fries/chips, it's a serious issue if you miss them, but I must admit that they are slightly above the average. But the pizza... Woah, I tried so many doughs and toppings of pizza in my life, but it is definitely one of the worst. The dough had an instant impact on my stomach, obviously due to the incorrect/incomplete leavening process and, somehow, it was also soggy. Why somehow? Because I can't understand how could be soggy with not generous at all ingredients, toppings were barely enough, had a pretty bland taste and they looked honestly disgusting. I'm not exaggerating when I say that if you manage to somehow find a 50 cents frozen pizza, it will somehow remind you of Romayo's pizza, but it will look way better, dough would be better (since yes, it's worst than the dough in any frozen pizza I ever tried) and it's even possible that toppings will have a stronger taste. Absolutely disappointed, I was looking forward to this dinner and I hoped it would be great, since I could have become an usual, living very close to the place. Well, it is what it is. Free to go of course, if you enjoy it, but I would never suggest it to anyone. Next time I wanted to try the burger, but after this meal I will never go back in there. They do only the pizza badly and everything else is amazing? No clue and I will never discover it, what I know is that if you are unable to do something, you should not do it.

24/03/2026: This is the second time I've tried to go to this place and bring friends, but unfortunately the customer service is the worst.

11/10/2025: Great Pub. A smashing local pub in Crumlin. Good pint . Live music and a choice of lounge or bar .

25/08/2025: Brilliant local family pub, great atmosphere, especially when the butler family put on a show, although it is somewhat diminished by a certain member of staff, we wont mention any names, but he has red curly hair. 😂

22/03/2026: I’ve been a regular customer of the place and I wa surprised to see the behaviour of the staff. I was denied service and 20.10 while the closing time was 20.30. I requested just a dessert take away which was right in front of me. But the lady said we are closed (in a rude way) while we still had 20 mins left. I can’t believe one of the best dessert places would turn this bitter all of a sudden.

29/11/2025: A retro roadhouse feel restaurant. The food was tasty and I'll come back to try some other dishes.

27/11/2025: Always a varying experience here. Sometimes staff are amazing, next time they are quite rude. They never come over to ask about desserts and are very slow to clear the table. One thing that remains consistent is the food which I suppose is the most important part.

29/11/2025: What a tremendous tavern serving stouts and perfect porters. If Dublin is a lady, Grace's is the corsage on her wrist!

02/11/2025: Nice staff and service but a trad group essentially displaced us by slowly moving into our seats, shoving our belongings down and eventually telling us to move so we had to leave despite being customers for a couple of hours. Beware of this if you’re a younger person, it felt territorial

18/08/2025: Great atmosphere yesterday in there for Oasis, real pity about the older gentleman working behind the bar. Ive never seen someone as rude behind a bar, was there all afternoon and watched him have a go at 2 or 3 people for nothing, called one customer a gobshite. I couldnt believe it, he has to own the place for the way he carried on. Crazy, no way an employee would have been let carry on the way he did.

13/08/2025: A great bar. Didn't have the food but it looked lovely. Pub and toilets are spotless. Bar staff attentive and engaging.

15/12/2025: Old style family pub in suburbs of Dundrum. The menu had all you needed, very good value and quality was excellent. Give it a go if you are near by, good alternative.

11/12/2025: Balinteer men's shed Christmas party went with a bang .FOOD was excellent and music top class.A great night was had by all .Definitely recommend it for a gathering. Thanks to Tomas for everything Owen

26/03/2026: Have had positive experiences in the past but my partner and I were severely disappointed this time around. He ordered the beef cheek ragu and it arrived entirely uncooked, the pasta was rock solid and inedible. I ordered the garlic prawn pasta and the sauce was entirely butter with little to no seasoning. My partner got a replacement dish but the staff are extremely inattentive and very difficult to get a hold of, overall not very friendly. Will not be back.

25/11/2025: I was here few times: always as drop in when hectic traffic- to wait for better way- with my grandson. Such warm atmosphere, smiling and friendly staff - I am very happy here when spending few hours.. and.. a beef! .. just melting in the mouth.. quiet music…. What else one would dream when outside windy and traffic jam for hours? BIG THANK YOU!!!

23/11/2025: Good hotel. Very friendly staff (in Ireland, so what do you expect), good room size, quiet, and good location if you are visiting Park West. Quite a distance from the centre of Dublin, although there is a bus that is inexpensive.

I have been coming to Lolly and Cooks for years for their amazing coffee and sweet treats — but lunch here is next-level delicious. The fresh salads made by Christina were bursting with flavour, and I even bought extra for home! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. My toddler loves their cosy kids’ corner with books and toys — it’s the perfect family-friendly café to relax after a play in the park. Beautiful food, great coffee, and such a lovely atmosphere every time. 🌿☕🥗
