The best restaurants in Dublin

02/08/2026: Meh. Not very flavoursome food but ok. Donburi unagi (eel): Decent teriyaki style sauce on the eel and the fish was nice but overall it was so bland. Small bit of wakame which was tasteless and then cubes of yellow something which was even more tasteless. Rice was also somehow not good. Fast service, haven’t tried the rest but wouldn’t be rushing back at those prices and lack of flavour.

28/06/2026: I visited this restaurant recently and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The food arrived cold. The duck dish was not good, although the kimchi was acceptable. I also ordered takoyaki, but I was not confident that the octopus was fresh. For drinks, I specifically requested a cold drink with ice because of the hot weather. However, the drink was served warm and only had a small amount of ice. I don't mind paying extra if additional ice costs more, because I wanted a properly cold drink. Oh yeah, i did request additional ice. The service was also not very friendly. I understand the staff may have been tired because I placed my order around 9pm, close to closing time maybe. However, if the restaurant prefers to stop serving customers earlier, it would be better to clearly communicate that rather than making customers feel unwelcome through facial expressions or attitude. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience and would not return based on this visit.

04/08/2026: I ordered a Southern Style Chicken Box and it was incredible. Plus, they were incredibly punctual; it was ready in no time. I'll definitely be back to try other things. Highly recommended!

10/08/2026: My advice is to NEVER set foot in this bar. The owner/ barman is an aggressive and misogynistic individual. His behaviour towards myself and my daughter last Sunday was extremely upsetting and an experience that left us both shaking as he roared and shouted at us as we left the pub out on the road. We had entered the pub to use the loo before going into the Horse Show, full intending to return later with our family for a pint. We did not see him at the bar and walked past him. This he felt gave him the right to shout at us both despite us apologising immediately for not seeing him. He called us ignorent and insulted my daughter at the top of his voice for all the people passing by to hear. This man should not be working with the public stay well clear of Mary Macs and don't give him your custom.

01/07/2026: My wife and I ended up eating here because it was nearby to an appointment we had in the area, and I'm gonna be real: this is the best pizza I think I've ever had in Europe. Certainly in Ireland. I'm not super well travelled, and haven't been all over, but I cannot overstate how good the pepperoni pizza here is. It was like being transported back in time to when I was a kid eating the perfect slice of pizza for lunch after an hour of playing at an arcade. Staff was also really nice, and seeing all the kids there for ice cream was really wholesome. The ice cream machine did end up breaking while we were there, so we didn't get to try it, but next time for sure!

09/08/2026: Went here the night of football All-Ireland. Supervisor changed channel on all TV's when Sunday Game came on because Mayo fans were too loud. Doubt that ever happened when Dublin won!! All GAA fans should stay away from here!!! KOH.

29/07/2026: Security didn’t allow some patrons to enter because they were the wrong “skin colour”, beyond appalling. When questioned, they said they didn’t need to provide any explanation. I left the pub and needless to say we don’t be going back.

04/09/2026: I rented a bike here for three weeks and had a great experience! The service was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the whole process was smooth and easy. The bike was impeccable : reliable, comfortable, and clearly very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to rent a bike in Ireland ☺️

15/08/2026: I recently entered this shop, heavily pregnant and asked the lady if it would be possible to please use the toilet quickly. The shop was completely empty and I was alone. I could see the bathroom directly in front of me, not in use. I told the lady I was pregnant and really needed to go. The lady told me to pick out something "cool" to buy from the shop and then I would be allowed to use the toilet. I honestly was shocked and appauled that another woman would turn away a pregnant woman. It's small acts of kindness that differentiate businesses and if the shop had customers or was busy, maybe I could have understood her reaction. I have told this to many people who have also been completely shocked and outraged.

12/09/2026: This was one of the best asian food places I have ever tried. I tried their signature noodles and dumplings. Dumplings were delicious, I was not sure if the noodles would be enough before I ordered but when it arrived the portion was huge. I actually had to take extra time to finish it lol, very delicious broth and they were incredibly generous with ingredients. Really appreciated visiting here🙏🏻

12/09/2026: Skip the spice bag. But get the noodles. Very nice!!! Portion is big. The 3 of us bought 2 items to share 😆

17/08/2026: great food, great service - when one of us dropped a fork accidentally, we got a new one without even asking for it. the atmosphere is good, like it was years ago, when we visited for the first time. the chips are outstanding!

15/08/2026: Perfect for trying gluten-free fish and chips.

19/08/2026: Go to place in town for casual bite! Have been going for last 13/12 years and still love it! And not just for the free ice cream! Staff are always friendly!

23/06/2026: This morning, I went to Costa to grab an iced mango matcha and cookies for my child. I told the barista which cookies I wanted, but she gave me a strange look, as if she didn't understand what I was saying. I showed her, and she gave them to me. It was my first time trying an iced mango matcha from Costa, and it was undrinkable. It tasted like powder. It was terrible, and I threw it in the bin.

20/05/2026: Very bad, waiting to use the toilet 🚽, toilet locked, no sign of out of order, after 10 minutes of waiting, knocking on the door no sign of anyone there, a staff told me first that it was open and then when I said it was locked and he said oh it's in very bad condition so make up whatever that means, I don't know!

25/05/2026: Nice coffee served by a friendly guy. I recommend.

13/05/2026: Lovely place. I go there every day. Really nice guy. Recommend it if you want to have a little seat and enjoy hot coffee by the side of river Liffey.

29/08/2026: The best part was the bread....Most of the food was a bit salty. The portions were small but it was OK because no one wanted more anyway.
