The best restaurants in Dublin

24/04/2026: Terrible customer service and a very unsafe location, if staying in Dublin! Strongly advise to avoid.

22/04/2026: A small, 3-star hotel in an excellent location. It has been renovated and offers reasonable rates. Bus, tram, and train stops are just steps away. Temple Bar is about a 15-minute walk. The room was fine, clean, and the staff was very attentive, bilingual, and helpful. They provide a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener, and biscuits, which are replenished as needed. The bathroom has soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The towels are good quality. There's a hairdryer, a small but functional wardrobe, and a safe. The only downside is that the bus station is directly across the street, and you can sometimes hear noise. It might also give the impression of being a somewhat unsafe area because there's a homeless shelter nearby; people wander around but don't bother anyone. To get to and from the airport, you can use the Dublin Express, the Xpress, or bus 41, all of which stop a short walk from the hotel.

23/08/2026: Amazing donut shop in the Temple Bar area of Dublin!! Off the wall flavors and the donuts were unreal!!

08/08/2026: Excellent quality and freshness. Good coffee too. We were in Dublin for three days and ate at Offbeat every day.

16/06/2026: The old lady that works there (I think is the manager) is very rude to everyone even the customers and every time she makes my coffee is cold.

22/08/2026: It is the place I go everytime for a lunch after/before a train journey. I recommend for solo travellers, a nice break after a train ride or a nice lunch before a train ride.

29/07/2026: Don’t really know where to start, first time in Dublin and being English first thing I though of was an Irish breakfast we’ve tried a few whilst we’ve been here, and the rest have been brilliant, see decent reviews on here and thought I’d give it a go. Food was rubbery everything was cold. Coffee wasn’t great. The only half decent thing on the plate was a lukewarm hash brown. On my next return to Dublin I will definitely avoid this place

12/09/2026: This was one of the best asian food places I have ever tried. I tried their signature noodles and dumplings. Dumplings were delicious, I was not sure if the noodles would be enough before I ordered but when it arrived the portion was huge. I actually had to take extra time to finish it lol, very delicious broth and they were incredibly generous with ingredients. Really appreciated visiting here🙏🏻

27/08/2026: Very bad service. Said on the website it would take 30 min - took over an hour. Rang dominoes to find out why it was so long and was lied too and given bad information. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a take away. Will Not be going back and I live very close.

01/09/2026: Disappointing experience for our group of 8 by celebrating a surprise birthday for my friend. We were repeatedly rushed throughout the meal and made to feel unwelcome. Despite the poor service, we were charged a €27 service fee and €15 for bringing a birthday cake, which staff neither removed from its box nor cut — they only provided plates. We were not even made aware of the service fee and were rushed to pay the bill. Given how much we spent, we expected far better hospitality. We would like a refund of the €27 service charge as the level of service did not justify it.

23/08/2026: Everytime I crave for authentic thai food, this is my number choice. From their signature thai curry dishes, steamed sea bass, and their amazing mouth watering mango sticky rice, just reminds me of when I first visited thailand many ages ago. You dont need to spend thousands of € to fly over to 🇰🇭, just to have authentic thai cuisine. Plus, if you crave for that spicy and firey flavour on your dish, just ask and it shall be given.😉

02/08/2026: Meh. Not very flavoursome food but ok. Donburi unagi (eel): Decent teriyaki style sauce on the eel and the fish was nice but overall it was so bland. Small bit of wakame which was tasteless and then cubes of yellow something which was even more tasteless. Rice was also somehow not good. Fast service, haven’t tried the rest but wouldn’t be rushing back at those prices and lack of flavour.

28/06/2026: I visited this restaurant recently and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The food arrived cold. The duck dish was not good, although the kimchi was acceptable. I also ordered takoyaki, but I was not confident that the octopus was fresh. For drinks, I specifically requested a cold drink with ice because of the hot weather. However, the drink was served warm and only had a small amount of ice. I don't mind paying extra if additional ice costs more, because I wanted a properly cold drink. Oh yeah, i did request additional ice. The service was also not very friendly. I understand the staff may have been tired because I placed my order around 9pm, close to closing time maybe. However, if the restaurant prefers to stop serving customers earlier, it would be better to clearly communicate that rather than making customers feel unwelcome through facial expressions or attitude. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience and would not return based on this visit.

09/09/2026: The good: The place is clean, there is both indoor and outdoor seating and some of the food options are different from the usual cuisine, for atmosphere the plants are natural/not fake. The bad: The staff feel cold and unengaging, no smile, barely looking at you which felt unwelcoming or uninterested. The portions may leave you wanting more. The front outdoor seating area can use better chairs and tables, they are flimsy, also the patio leaves tables shaky and uneven.

05/08/2026: An excellent café, especially for a special breakfast or a special occasion. The food and coffee were lovely, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s such a charming place with a lovely atmosphere. Definitely a place I would come back to! 💛

28/08/2026: Friendly staff, lovely food and excellent service. Really toddler and child friendly too, they always have a hello and welcome for everyone who comes in.

04/08/2026: I ordered a Southern Style Chicken Box and it was incredible. Plus, they were incredibly punctual; it was ready in no time. I'll definitely be back to try other things. Highly recommended!
