The best restaurants in Dublin

22/09/2025: Very good cakes and profiteroles. I ordered special big cake for my meeting It was very delicious and soft. And amazing design!

16/10/2025: My son said, "We have to go there to try the Spice Bag ... it's supposed to be great". When we go there the place was jammed. We ordered at the counter and waited to see it we could get a seat .. seating was a bit chaotic but we eventually got places at a shared table. When we received out food we were impressed with the amount of it ... there was more than enough and there was a good balance of chips/chicken tough I would have liked more onion. Overall, it we were very happy with the Spice Bags we received and the price was good too ... €8.95.

15/10/2025: The food is lovely but a staff member called Joseph is SO RUDE & dismissive. We order from here all of the time and have never received such bad treatment which is so unfortunate. A lovely girl (I didn’t get her name) she sounded quite young & Irish I think.. took over my order, she was so pleasant to deal with. Thank God! If it wasn’t for that lovely sweet girl we would have never ordered again! I’m giving a 1 star review based off the service from Joseph as his bad service is the reasoning for me leaving this review.

25/09/2025: Great for sporting event 10-15 TV along with a large screen. Service is great as table service. Went to watch F1 definitely new spot for any sport event

14/09/2025: Quite a relaxed atmosphere in a peaceful setting. It was a gathering of friends and I was the one who suggested this restaurant (even though it was ages ago that I was last here!). The food was plentiful and decent. However, the service needs to be reviewed...when a waiter came to pour the wine, he deliberately ignored someone, and we had to ask him "excuse me, this glass is empty!". How is that possible? Either a lack of attention or poor training... I have no comment! Plus, for a Friday night, the establishment closes at 2200 (a bit too early in my opinion). I also find that the food is about 15-20% more expensive than most similar restaurants in Dublin...is that because it's in Ballsbridge? (an area known for being the residence of wealthy people). I didn't hold a grudge and we left a tip anyway. Sorry but it's unlikely I'll come back here.

22/09/2025: Had good coffee here a few years ago so thought I’d try while I was back in town. Unfortunately the flat white was weak and watery. Pastry selection seemed quite limited. Asked for the wifi code (needed to check in for my flight online, not to work!) and the member of staff was pretty snotty about telling me they don’t have wifi. Fair enough to not have it, but don’t act like it’s an unusual or rude question? Maybe I caught them on a bad day, though it wasn’t busy to be fair.

13/08/2025: This is my first time at this place, and I'm not disappointed. Friendly staff, clean, quiet, and the menus are decent.

29/08/2025: From my own experience the food is nice from the Indian Gate and very tasty, they are not overly expensive with a good meal for one not costing more than €25 including the delivery! I have no memory of ever having a bad take away from them over the many years that they have been open! I said to my self that I should give them a well deserved positive feedback after so many years of delicious takeaways! Today was the chicken Buna with how special rice and garlic nan bread with a bottle of Coca-Cola, it was a delicious Indian curry dinner with my compliments to the chef 😉

14/08/2025: Ordered food to pick up. Sauce in the saag tasted pre heated, gloopy texture and not fresh. Not much flavour apart from some spice. Rice also didn't taste fresh, snd wasn't fluffy, the texture made it seem re-heated. Disappointing as I used to go there when I was younger. Oh well, will have to try another.

16/10/2025: They claim to have an accessible toilet, so as a wheelchair user I decided to visit this place. Thought I'd check out the toilet before ordering pints. Turned out to be a wise decision. So called "accessible toilet" was a joke. Tiny little bathroom with a bend in it which was impossible to enter in a wheelchair. Front entrance is accessible and it is on the flat but NO toilet facilities.

11/09/2025: Stopped here on our first night in Dublin and the bartender took great care of us, I managed to leave my wallet sitting on the bar with my ID, cash, cards- the lot, and the bartender kept it safe and got it back to me which absolutely saved my life as I would have been here on holiday two weeks without a wallet - he wouldn't let me give him any cash for getting it back to me either pub has a great location, nice vibe inside and the bartender is a real angel on earth!

19/10/2025: Food is great reasonably priced but this isn't a restaurant its purely a counter and take away

09/09/2025: Great place with good coffee! Close to the library for those who want to take a break from studying. It was my favorite during my stay in Dublin.
