12/10/2025: Never again, very nice staff and good location, but the room is so small. We had booked for 3 people, we were expecting to have a bed and sofa bed but not a "2 flore bad". This should be advertised correctly to a customer's before booking!

02/07/2025: Visiting Dunlaoire and Dunphys looked like an authentic Irish pub.
Unfortunately the welcome did not match.
A young tall ginger slapped a sloppy, overflowing, unsettled Guinness on the counter and said that’ll be 6.80 and when I muttered, would you not let it settle he retorted, “do you want it or not”,I replied no and I don’t like your attitude (well I don’t like yours ether, he said !) and I left. (Wed July 2nd)
Got a contrasting reception and a smashing pint of Guinness in The 2 Foxes.
27/06/2025: Came in for some drinks on our holiday with our 3 year old son says no buggies but they didn't mind us storing ours in the door way so long as it wasn't in the way. Great pub lovely old decor and great friendly staff. Had the Ambush Pale Ale was incredible with the glasses chilled in the fridge. 10/10 would get pissed here again.

04/11/2025: Had to get my car windscreen replaced in Auto -Glass ( 3 min walk away).
I visited Kay's Kitchen for the first time and was very pleasantly satisfied with the visit.
I had the Big Irish Breakfast with 3 slices of very fresh soft batch bread toasted / pot of tea etc?.
The food was absolutely beautiful and although I'm seldom in the square I will be recommending Kay's Kitchen to others.
My daughter works in Tallaght and I will tell her to mention it to her colleagues.
100% recommending to all. 3 different sizes of breakfast on offer with loads more to suit everyone's taste buds.

28/10/2025: Very big place, to many places to queue.You would have to know this place to know where to go for what.Getting fried eggs slowed the whole system down and food got cold waiting. DC

16/10/2025: They claim to have an accessible toilet, so as a wheelchair user I decided to visit this place. Thought I'd check out the toilet before ordering pints. Turned out to be a wise decision. So called "accessible toilet" was a joke. Tiny little bathroom with a bend in it which was impossible to enter in a wheelchair. Front entrance is accessible and it is on the flat but NO toilet facilities.
11/09/2025: Stopped here on our first night in Dublin and the bartender took great care of us, I managed to leave my wallet sitting on the bar with my ID, cash, cards- the lot, and the bartender kept it safe and got it back to me which absolutely saved my life as I would have been here on holiday two weeks without a wallet - he wouldn't let me give him any cash for getting it back to me either
pub has a great location, nice vibe inside and the bartender is a real angel on earth!

16/09/2025: Giving a low score purely for the self order machines. They’ve been laggy for months now. You input what you want to order and it takes 6-7 minutes for it to register. Some people are waiting at them for 10+ minutes just waiting to pay. The store doesn’t seem interested in fixing this. Food was decent and hot too in fairness.

29/08/2025: From my own experience the food is nice from the Indian Gate and very tasty, they are not overly expensive with a good meal for one not costing more than €25 including the delivery!
I have no memory of ever having a bad take away from them over the many years that they have been open!
I said to my self that I should give them a well deserved positive feedback after so many years of delicious takeaways!
Today was the chicken Buna with how special rice and garlic nan bread with a bottle of Coca-Cola, it was a delicious Indian curry dinner with my compliments to the chef 😉
14/08/2025: Ordered food to pick up. Sauce in the saag tasted pre heated, gloopy texture and not fresh. Not much flavour apart from some spice. Rice also didn't taste fresh, snd wasn't fluffy, the texture made it seem re-heated. Disappointing as I used to go there when I was younger. Oh well, will have to try another.

26/07/2025: Can't understand how this place is still in business when people's reviews from 3 years ago are exactly the same as mine today. Food is processed crap, the whole place smells like grease, staff look like they'd rather be anywhere else. The toilets are filthy and have no hand dryers or tissue to dry hands.
16/07/2025: Really friendly local café! I went twice in the past week - once just for a coffee close to closing time and once for food. The staff/management were so welcoming and friendly (and were in no rush to kick us out for our evening coffee - thank you)!
The smoked salmon and avocado combo was also delicious.
