The best restaurants in Dublin

19/07/2026: The fish and chips are good. With fresh fish and not-too-greasy batter, the fries are pretty good. We had dinner in the ICU; the dining room is decent.

17/07/2026: I went for dinner at this restaurant last night with some colleagues. I ordered sole fish and chips. All my colleagues were served, but not me. So I asked for my meal. The waiter asked me to show the receipt, which I hadn’t taken, so I had to search for the electronic receipt on my phone. I found this highly suspicious attitude very unpleasant. I then had to wait about ten minutes before finally receiving my order, without any apology or explanation. To top it all off, we were expressly asked to leave because the section of the restaurant where we were sitting had to be closed. In short, the service made me regret the food, which was, in fact, up to standard.

08/07/2026: Was a great experience, we went to Jimmys with a big group to watch the Worldcup game. Absolutely no problem! Free water, nice service. We will come back, thank you very much;)

25/06/2026: Extremely slow service. I waited 20 minutes for a delivery order, which is ridiculous considering they only serve salads and juices, no cooking required! Highly inefficient staff and zero respect for delivery drivers who depend on speed to make a living. Avoid

22/04/2026: A small, 3-star hotel in an excellent location. It has been renovated and offers reasonable rates. Bus, tram, and train stops are just steps away. Temple Bar is about a 15-minute walk. The room was fine, clean, and the staff was very attentive, bilingual, and helpful. They provide a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener, and biscuits, which are replenished as needed. The bathroom has soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The towels are good quality. There's a hairdryer, a small but functional wardrobe, and a safe. The only downside is that the bus station is directly across the street, and you can sometimes hear noise. It might also give the impression of being a somewhat unsafe area because there's a homeless shelter nearby; people wander around but don't bother anyone. To get to and from the airport, you can use the Dublin Express, the Xpress, or bus 41, all of which stop a short walk from the hotel.

24/09/2025: I go there with my dog and partner a lot to support the local business, and some days we even go for both breakfast and lunch and we always leave tips on the card machine. This time they didn’t have the sandwich I wanted and I only ordered a take away so I skipped the tips for the first time. And you can see the complete 180 degree of attitude switched that the 2 girls had there. It was very bad vibe and energy when I left. The people there used to be cool, not like this.

10/08/2025: Brunch was absolutely lovely! I had an açai bowl which was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, plus a hot chocolate that was really good. Great spot for a relaxed weekend treat!

20/09/2025: Lovely cafe hidden away very close to Corkagh park. Brilliant breakfast.

22/06/2026: Such a pleasant experience. Was in your store today and was greeted by a staff member Mac. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations and we ended up with the midweek treat and a diablo which was amazing to say the least. Will be back weekly for sure. Brilliant 👏

01/08/2026: Look if you want to experience the best "Spice Bag" its here no where else as is Chicken Chow Mein, oh and of course Honey Ribs. Nothing on the menu will disappoint you. The staff behind the counter are amazing too and the work rate is staggering and the kitchen is so clean. 👌 I dont do photos of my food it wrecks my head when I see people do that so I've added a photo of Trigger without his brush.

27/07/2026: Order: Chicken chop suey, fried noodles, no celery. For €12.50, this was a pretty underwhelming meal. It filled the stomach... just about. Unfortunately, that's the most positive thing I can say. Taste: Very average. Nothing stood out in a good way and it was noticeably over-salted. Not terrible, I've experienced worse, but definitely not something you'd look forward to eating again. Portion: Average. It was just enough to satisfy my hunger, but only barely. Packaging: Disappointing. The food came in two containers inside a plain brown paper bag. No napkins, no fork, no chopsticks. It's a small detail, but it makes the whole experience feel cheap and unfinished. Final thoughts: If you're hungry, you'll eat it. If you're hoping to actually enjoy your meal, you'll probably be disappointed. There are much better Chinese takeaways around for the same money. Would I order from Jumbo Wok again? No.

08/08/2026: Went to the pub and they immediately kicked us out. Wasn’t even drunk. awesome. Hate the male waiter with the dyed black hair

03/08/2026: Peters pub was one of my favourite pubs in Dublin. No tv playing , no music, just people have a nice time chatting to each other in a really friendly athmos. It has changed hands recently and now we have to compete with continuous tv playing even though nobody is watching. Then there the boring back ground music, i also noticed there was not many locals present.

16/06/2026: Hotel was absolutely immaculate food was fantastic the rooms extremely clean and very tidy the service in the restaurant and the bar was fantastic a special thanks to Riva who looked after us with kindness a total Gentleman hotel was only a short walking distance to the train station I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely will be back thankyou to all the staff who where extremely helpful and kind I was made very welcome

29/05/2026: Was only in this pub last night after the Ireland match and When I tell you my experience was the most unpleasant ever it would make it hard to believe. Looks like a nice cosy pub on the outside but on the inside is like a war zone between the owner and his staff/customers. The owner thinks it’s okay to give out to a young man helping him in front of the whole pub. Shouting at him to come in from outside and proceeding to shout at him about how to put glasses in a tray which he had already done. The owner proceeded to leave behind the bar and told the young man to take for a pint, after not hearing the owner the worker asked him what he had said and the owner proceeded to spell it out for him like he was a simpleton. I was really put out by this and so were many others. The young man was trying to do his best in a not so busy pub yet get put down in front of everyone. The Owner is nothing but a bully and the young man should leave! On the way out my mate gave him a tip in front of the owner and we hope it made his night
