15/01/2026: Excellent cuisine with generous and flavorful dishes. The restaurant is a little cramped due to its popularity, but the value for money is very good. The service was top-notch, especially thanks to Xenia and her invaluable advice.

26/12/2025: It's so delicious, there's always a new surprise every time. I've been here many times. The owners are both warm and lovely people from Northeast China, and I always leave with a great feeling. They offer Sichuan cuisine, Northeastern BBQ, and Thai food, all very authentic because the chefs are professional. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and it's suitable for parties and gatherings, as well as enjoying a quiet drink alone! The new braised pig's trotters are perfect!!

26/12/2025: The braised pig's trotters were delicious—the broth was flavorful and the meat tender, a taste that brought me back home! The barbecue is also highly recommended; highly recommended, I'll definitely come again. The portions are generous, perfect for group meals.

26/08/2025: had the best takeaway I’ve had in a long time from Saaep Thai! We ordered the beef black bean stir fry with chips and rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were really generous, the beef was cooked perfectly tender, and the vegetables were fresh and full of flavour. Everything was well balanced, not too heavy, and really satisfying. I’ll definitely be ordering again – highly recommend!

19/12/2025: Changed my original review because service has gone downhill rapidly for delivery orders. Ordered delivery tonight and most of the items missing from the order, tiny amount of beef, no guac, no sour cream, no chips, tiny amount of rice too. They used to be great, but wouldn’t recommend this anymore. Made a complaint about the order and was basically told “sorry, can’t do anything”

05/11/2025: I went there last Sunday. Everything would have been perfect, but the manager was really disappointing. He was very aggressive and spoke rudely. Honestly, he seemed to be 100% under the influence of alcohol. An older man, with completely inappropriate behavior for a public place.

20/12/2025: Online it says they open at 7:30am on Saturday yet when I went at 7:35 I was told they do not open until 8am.

29/09/2025: As a regular visitor to Butlers in Ballsbridge I’m writing this review as a very disappointed customer. I order extra hot, hot chocolate. Nearly every time I receive it ,it’s lukewarm. Not even hot. It’s either far too milky or too much lumps of chocolate. The staff need more training and the outdoor seating area is often very dirty .

11/08/2025: Great value for bagels! I had their Californian bagel for under €8 and it was great! Now, for me, a tiny stomach girlie this portion was perfect but if you have a bigger appetite then you might need 2 bagel sandwiches. The bacon in my bagel was a bit dry but other than that it was all good for the price and it was a quick turnaround and they are made fresh and the staff are lovely too!

30/10/2025: Put my order on the self serving machine and selected pay with cash. Standing waiting on my order to find out 20 mins later it didn't even go through. Then when they did make my order it wasn't even the correct order. Waste of a lunch break.

11/09/2025: The toasties are amazing, full of flavour, you can ordered the signatures or create one with their ingredients. You can eat there or take away. Definitely you should go and try for yourself

03/01/2026: Michaela looked after us Booked a table for 7, service charge added We went with the Early Bird 3 Course Meal €30.95 Decent choices, good value I went with the Spicy Chicken Wing Starter, Satay Chicken Curry 1/2 & 1/2 with the Malteeser Cheesecake option Our only hiccup was the dessert, one of our guests has an allergy to strawberry and was given strawberry. This was rectified and an alternative provided. Please make sure to cater for all, if some mentions an allergy then write down allergy. If you need the chef to come out to the table, then get the chef! Other than that, friendly courteous staff and thank you to Michaela for an enjoyable night.

04/01/2026: We had a great evening overall at this cocktail bar. The upstairs bar was excellent: amazing cocktails, great atmosphere, and perfect service. Everything was top quality and we truly enjoyed our time there. Unfortunately, the experience ended on a disappointing note. At 1:00 AM, a security guard aggressively insisted that we leave, even though Google Maps lists the bar’s closing time as 2:30 AM. He even tried to take my girlfriend’s glass while it was still half full, without asking if she had finished. When I calmly asked why we were being asked to leave so early, he questioned where I was from and threatened to kick me out without any valid explanation, simply for asking a question. It’s a shame, as the quality of the cocktails and the service do not match this kind of unprofessional behavior.

05/09/2025: Amazing service. Called in at 9.20am needing 2 new tyres. Sadly, they didn't have the size I required in stock but said they could get them for lunchtime. I was given 4 or 5 different options and made a decision on a couple of Pirelli's. Gráinne called at 3pm to say the tyres were in, I took the car round and had them fitted quickly and efficiently. Price was very reasonable too. Gráinne is a star!

01/08/2025: Disappointed with my order from Bell Pepper, Kimmage I work as a delivery driver, so I know how to handle food properly to avoid leaks or spills. This time, I ordered for myself via pick-up — a soup and a spice bag. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When I got home I saw that the soup was already leaking underneath, I did put it in the termal bag with support, to do not leak but still, and it didn’t taste good at all. The spice bag was shockingly small for the price, and most of the potatoes inside were undercooked and few pieces of chicken. On top of that, it was extremely spicy — far beyond what I’ve experienced before. I’ve had plenty of spice bags from other places and they’ve been amazing, but this was the first time I ordered from Bell Pepper in Kimmage, and sadly, it will also be the last. Very disappointed. I would not recommend.

18/07/2025: Ordered a thai green curry and jasmine rice for delivery, food came well before the estimated delivery time, was piping hot and most importantly tasted delicious, excellent job, would highly recommend this place 😋

07/09/2025: The best pizza i have had in Dublin so far! Especially if you are looking for flavors close to back home, you have got to try this. Owner is very friendly and recommended we try the Chicken Cajun flavor. Generous on the toppings, size and great overall pizza! Worth the price as well and most importantly HALAL!
