The best restaurants in Dublin

13/03/2026: This place is an absolute jewel in Dublin! If you appreciate a genuinely well-crafted drink in a beautiful setting, this is the spot. The atmosphere is incredible. It has a gorgeous Art Deco vibe that makes you feel like you've just stepped into a glamorous 1930s jazz bar. The cocktails are professionally made with real care and top-tier ingredients. The menu is fantastic, but the welcoming staff are more than happy to go off-menu and mix up whatever you're in the mood for, always taking the time to happily answer any questions about the drinks. While the everyday food menu is a bit limited, it perfectly suits the style of the bar. I highly recommend the charcuterie board, as it offers a wonderful balance of high-quality Spanish and Italian cured meats and cheeses with surprisingly generous portion sizes. I also had dinner here for New Year's Eve and the experience was excellent. They put together a special menu for the night, and the food was absolutely delicious. The best part is the connection to the Stella Cinema, a truly classy and vintage theater. I recommend this place for grabbing drinks with friends before a screening or catching up after a movie. A brilliant, five-star experience all around!

21/02/2026: Have to say that the food here was a huge disappointment. The trio of bread, olives, and almonds was an actual joke - 5 small olives, bland stale nuts, and bread that I physically couldn't tear or cut. The only decent thing we had was the arancini. Service was also poor - there were about 6 staff there around the bar but only 1-2 people actually working. The manager seemed totally fine with the fact that most of them were just standing around sampling a cocktail. They took our order without writing it down, came back to confirm it again, and we were still served the wrong thing. Puzzling how they manage to take 20 mins to serve a glass of whiskey with only about 4 tables occupied.

21/07/2026: We popped in here to get the ‘world famous fish & chips’. So disappointing! The food came too quickly so knew it had to be precooked. Sure enough, the chips were horrible, ie not hot and crispy. The fish (cod) was ok but for €16 per meal it felt like a ripoff.

11/07/2026: Super cute pub. Lots of great antiques and curiosities on the walls and ceilings and beautiful wood panelling and furniture. Great patio area as well. Food was fine, basic pub fare and of course there was a decent selection of draft. Pricing was consistent with the touristy area.

14/05/2026: Nice shop. I generally only pop in for lunch. There's a good variety and choice on offer when it comes to lunch options, but I had the misfortune of ordering the chicken caeser salad wrap last week. It wasn't good. The lettuce looked a few days old and the wrap was completely soggy. I think you should have a rethink on this one. Apart from that mess - and the surly red-haired girl's attitude that always prevails - it's an okay place to go. Also, order in more ciabatta. It's always gone. You can't have a spicy salami ciabatta sandwich on a white roll!

26/07/2026: A huge, inexpensive bar-restaurant near Dublin city center, with plenty of tables with benches or chairs on both floors. You can order both food and drinks from your table and have them brought to you. The menu is extensive, but it's especially recommended for its incredibly competitive prices for Dublin, both for food and, particularly, drinks.

29/07/2026: Surge coffee is a must once a week AT LEAST. It's got this charm and nice vibes. Good coffee quality and the service is always the kindest.

28/07/2026: Honestly very disappointed to get cows milk in my chai after ordering and paying for oat milk. Was a takeaway so didn't notice until had already left. Barista should write or confirm this on the cups if this mistake can be made.

22/04/2026: A small, 3-star hotel in an excellent location. It has been renovated and offers reasonable rates. Bus, tram, and train stops are just steps away. Temple Bar is about a 15-minute walk. The room was fine, clean, and the staff was very attentive, bilingual, and helpful. They provide a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener, and biscuits, which are replenished as needed. The bathroom has soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The towels are good quality. There's a hairdryer, a small but functional wardrobe, and a safe. The only downside is that the bus station is directly across the street, and you can sometimes hear noise. It might also give the impression of being a somewhat unsafe area because there's a homeless shelter nearby; people wander around but don't bother anyone. To get to and from the airport, you can use the Dublin Express, the Xpress, or bus 41, all of which stop a short walk from the hotel.

17/05/2026: I loved the toilets smelt so fresh, but i dropped my burger in the urinal, it made me cry , i went outside and coloured in the kids page and then i listened to micheal jackson on the dukebox, would defo recommend to family and friends and collegouges and old friends from school but not my neighbour john, he never cut the grass outside my house

08/07/2026: Service was shocking no cutlery on tables asked a few times we had to go looking for some. Found one to do between 2 of us.. By the time we where nearly finished our meal they eventually gave us some. Food was ok but very expensive
