08/10/2026: We stumbled upon the bar and had to go in. The bar has a more casual and laid-back ambient than the bars around and we loved the decor of it. It looks really cozy and modern and just perfectly fitted the October weather outside. The staff was really nice. The music was soothing and the volume in the bar was perfect to have a conversation. We were blown away by the cocktail menu which had so many great choices. The prices were not cheap but definitely worth it!

08/10/2026: Loved the atmosphere, great cocktails and amazing service. Would definitely come back. Just to note: no food except pop corns to nibble.

16/09/2026: My Nephew and I were here whilst waiting to collect our dog from killester vets 2 doors up. The funniest thing happened while we were sitting in the Ramble Inn. I will update later 😂

16/09/2026: Will Never forget the time I was in here and a bloke walks in dressed in what looked like an Armani suit, he was fairly slick with shades on 😎 Now this was the height of summer in June '23 . It was when we had two weeks of sunshine before the rain came for 2 months! This guy just walks in and says: "I'm buying a round for everyone in the house". Myself and my mate were like "this Is some craic", even though we were the only people in the place 😂 Thinking I might have to ramble by here again. oh and the pints were fairly good indeed.

30/08/2026: My friend had a voucher that would cover a good portion of the meal we had here, and she was told upon seating that it would be valid. The food left much to be desired and the service itself was fine, albeit it took our waiter several minutes to open a bottle of wine we had ordered – but we didn't particularly mind. The cocktails we ordered left much to be desired, I have had far better elsewhere. Upon closing out the bill, my friend once again mentioned the voucher and the wait staff told us that they would make mention of it to the manager on duty. The manager came over to us, hunched himself over our table, and very plainly told us that they had stopped taking those vouchers and they were no longer valid. I have worked in hospitality for ten years and, whenever faced with a similar situation, I would have been the utmost apologetic and understanding to the customer's well-founded confusion and plight. This manager was the opposite of everything I have ever been taught to be in within this industry. He was flippant, unsympathetic, argumentative and made all of us feel very uncomfortable. The hospitality industry requires you to be hospitable, and he was nothing of the sort. Please make all your staff aware of your stance on vouchers as well, so that we are not being immediately given false information. We won't be back. Cheers.

18/07/2026: Excellent service and wonderful staff. I attended a wedding reception there as a guest and would highly recommend House. Having previously worked as a wedding photographer, I've tasted a lot of wedding fare and this was truly excellent. The staff were particularly kind with my autistic son. Would highly recommend.

30/08/2026: I used to like this place and ate often after a movie. 2 things that really disappointed me: - I ordered Irish breakfast and black pudding was missing. I had to insist to put some other ingredient instead. But it's overall not nice to give clients food where ingredients listed on the menu are not present on the plate - Prices have been hiked up by 5-6 euros for the same quality of food.

29/08/2026: I didn't know this existed until recently. Really good food, lovely surroundings and you can bring booze into the cinema. What's not to like?

25/09/2026: Went to a fun quiz here, featuring one of the Chasers, "The Menace". Great entertainment. The guy is great.

10/10/2026: Closed this Saturday at 12:30 on October 10th, 2026. I came for nothing, yet on Google and their website it's supposed to be open.

03/10/2026: They advertised a sharing steak for €60 that came with gravy and baby potatoes. When we went to order the waiter Warned us that it wasn’t going to be enough to share. Even though they advertised it as SHARING. Anyways we decided to get a starter each and oh my good god. €15 for 3 prawns. You couldn’t make it up. They even had the cheek to fill the plate with the empty shells even though the prawns were already pulled out and cooked and put on the plate. To make things even WORSE. I ordered an Aperol and it came with a GRAPEFRUIT in it. All I could taste was the grapefruit and I paid a whopping 14 euro for this. To add to the fact the steak wasn’t a sharing steak and the potatoes that came with them were clearly reheated and wrinkled and the gravy was as watery. The steak was about 40% fat. The bill came to about 130 euro. Go to fx Buckley a real restaurant with a real sharing steak for the same price. Absolutely shocking the owner should be ashamed.

01/10/2026: The food here is always fresh and tasty, and the restaurant itself is nice and clean. Not too noisy at all, and the location is also very good. There's a bus stop right outside, and a luas less than a minute's walk away when you cross the road outside. This Rocket's is near the Bord Gais Theatre and Convention Centre too, so it's a nice place to drop into if you're going to/coming back from either of those places. The view of the river and bridge nearby is great, especially on a sunny day. The workers are helpful and friendly, especially Ramona :) Good Rocket's!!

18/09/2026: Excellent service, two very friendly people working, just what I needed after a long journey. Food was fast and tasty. Great views of the Liffey. I couldn't understand why it was so quiet.

04/10/2026: My friends and I have been there several times and have always had a great time, but the absolute best night was the one Simone Di Addezio sang. We hope to see him playing at Buskers as often as possible!

27/09/2026: The place is amazing and the food was exceptional. But what made my experience stellar was a beautiful and captivating manager that was so polite, professional and hot.
