12/10/2024: Bought a shot which should be 35.5 ml glass, came in a 30 ml plastic cup. Same price of course. As if pubs aren't expensive enough but they still gotta jip ya, better off going to a pub that cares about customers

10/10/2024: What a pub! It's like Café en Seine and The Snug had a baby—quality drinks, excellent crisp options, and impromptu singing. Excellent. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

07/01/2025: The food is absolutely amazing with mouth watering flavours. The people there so kind and lovely and heart warming people. They always make my day. I promise you, wherever food you get you will never be disappointed. My favourite meal is the chicken noodle soup with egg fried rice and spring roles with a can of sprite or coke. 💕

01/12/2024: Ordered and waited 2 hours on the food , it came and was the complete wrong order and was freezing cold, I rang to say I wanted new food and a refund for the inconvenience and I was told no by rude staff, won’t be ordering ever again!

18/12/2024: Almost all the people who work there are lovely. But watch out for Valentina. If she makes an error on an order, she becomes agitated when you ask for it to be corrected, and then provides an incorrect replacement drink.

05/11/2024: Overall experience was good but prices are extremely high. Would not recommend this place to anyone, for spare ribs chicken curry and rice for 6 people cost over 400euro, they also add a service charge to your bill😡😡

06/01/2025: Fui allí para la cena de aniversario. La comida era deliciosa y la señora servidora / recepcionista era excepcionalmente amable y hablador. Había pedido dos copas de champán a la llegada. Estos fueron entregados rápidamente y sabían muy bien. No hubo ningún fallo en nuestra experiencia. El lugar era muy tranquilo. El servidor explicó que habían sido casi completamente reservados, pero tuvieron muchas cancelaciones debido al clima muy severo. Cuando nuestra factura llegó no incluía el champán. Se lo traje a su atención. Me dijeron que como habíamos aparecido con tan mal tiempo el champán estaba “en la casa”. Qué gesto de gratitud encantador. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra cena y esperamos volver de nuevo. Recomiendo una visita.

19/12/2024: Este pequeño restaurante tailandés en el centro de Dublín es una verdadera joya. La comida era auténtica y llena de sabor, y el servicio era cálido y amable. El ambiente acogedor lo convirtió en un gran lugar para una comida relajante y una buena botella de vino. Sin duda volveremos por más!

25/11/2024: Don’t ever order delivery from there. Last night I at 21:15 I ordered food from the app and by mistake I chose “Cash” payment instead of “Apple Pay”, and I called immediately to tell them to see if I can reorder and pay with Apple Pay (that’s the only payment I have available) and they told that they would send someone with a card machine. The food arrives and the delivery girl forgot to bring the card machine, so she gave me the food and told me that she would come back with one. I have waited for her for more than 40 minutes outside and no one showed up (keep in mind that it’s only 3 mins away). So after waiting for nearly an hour and a half, I fell asleep and an hour goes by and I wake up to loud knocking on the door at almost 0:00 (almost three hours after the order) and it was the delivery girl with the card machine. I tried paying but the machine is not contactless (something that I had informed when I immediately called after the order) and started harassing me verbally saying that either I go with her in the car to the restaurant and pay contactless or to wake up my housemates to pay for her. I kept telling her that the only solution in that moment was to send a bank transfer because I don’t have Revolut either. She wouldn’t want to leave and keep knocking loudly. And the worst thing, is that the food wasn’t good at all, and not worth all of this hassle. So if you want to have a nice dinner with no delivery girl showing up at almost 0:00 on a Sunday night harassing you for money, I wouldn’t order from Macaris.

22/12/2024: I was so hungry that I didn't pay attention, but generally I think the food was fantastic and staff were really nice. I'll definitely come again for that juicy lamb.

19/12/2024: If you want to get over charged and eat less this is the right place, one lamb skewer a lots of lettuce red cabbage onion and bit of meat chips and drink for €26 Same for me the mix chicken and donor a lots of salad bits of meat chips and drink for €21 Do you think people are stupid enough to pay again for this never ever again, I used to be a regular customer few years back I taught would be the same quality of service and food I don’t mind paying extra but have a good experience Taste is horrible food got cold in few seconds very small portions even though we payed for the bigger portions. For safety not suitable for families one their staff kept staring on my wife while I was paying the bill weirdo like we’re in jungle not restaurant. I do not recommend this place.

18/12/2024: Great value for money, drinks can take up to half an hour to arrive at the table though so get your first round at the bar and order your next one when you're half way down. Top quality breakfast served until 12, I got a small breakfast and freedom breakfast with unlimited coffee for less than €10!

30/11/2024: Baristas in this coffee shop are the worst , for them doesn't matter what u order - recipe one for all orders - black coffee and milk, they don't understand what's dry cappuccino etc. don't waist money in this place

21/12/2024: They need to hire more bat staff upstairs it’s hard to get serve with just two girl behind the counter on making cocktail and the other serving drinks on a busy Friday/ Saturday night. Fingerfood is really nice

29/07/2024: The worst dining experience I have ever had!!! I wouldn't give anywhere a bad review but this was shocking. Firstly me and my wife were greeted with as much as a grunt and a "Sit wherever we are empty anyway" attitude. We were sat at a table where menus were basically thrown at us. The layout of the menu is awful the mezze boards were written all over the place, when my wife tried to order the Syrian platter the owner repeated Beirut, she pointed at the Syrian on the menu and he repeated yes its the Beirut, which of course when it came it was not what we wanted on the platter at all, and at a price of €25 is too much to be wrong. We ordered the rest of our meal which was promptly rushed out of my wife as if he had better things to be doing. All the time we were there we were never asked for drinks so I had to ask as he had no interest, and on the menu it said it came with ice and lemon, but it arrived with neither. Our mains arrived and my Wifes tasted like the yoghurt sauce had turned, and there were no pomegrante seeds as stated on the menu. Mine was rock solid, molten hot (Microwaved) and contained plastic containers for sauce that you would expect from a take away. The meat and rice were so hard and inedible that as I write this I feel physically ill. I proceeded to try and ask could we get the bill and explain that the food had been inedible but to my surprise me and my wife were left completely alone in the restaurant with no one. I went into the kitchen and found someone and asked could we sort the bill and where our waiter was to be told he has left and we would have to wait until whenever hes back. This is outragious he left his customers completely alone in the restaurant and we were expected to stay than pay for attrocious inedible food. The poor kitchen porter was super apologetic and even looked afraid of what will happen when his boss arrives back. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
