08/04/2025: I visited St. Patrick’s College in Drumcondra on a sunny Saturday and was genuinely impressed by how much character the campus has. The historic buildings like Belvedere House and the old Gothic-style chapel (which was closed during my visit) give the place real depth, while the open green spaces and modern sculptures add a fresh, thoughtful touch. I wandered past the well-kept sports pitches — they were lively and added to the vibrant feel of the campus. It’s clearly still a space where learning, movement, and reflection all coexist. Parking was straightforward thanks to a designated pay-for-parking area (CP6), and I noticed plenty of signage for permit zones too. It felt organised and easy to navigate. There happened to be an open day atmosphere, with a few student-led tours and a welcoming vibe overall. The campus balances its deep history with a very current, open energy — I’d definitely come back, even just for a walk.

14/05/2025: Worst tasteless food I’ve ever had .Zero taste of the chips even after a-lot of salt on them and chicken burger we ordered the bun was so thin it just fell off when trying to hold it . Slop. First time ordering and last .

04/05/2025: Not satisfied at all, food was lovely but 2nd time order was messed up !! Ordered meal deal 1along with other dinners for ourselves but came with no sauce child had to have her dinner dry by the time the driver returned, with sauce and two extra bags of prawn crakets what use where they when rest of our dinners were finished. Wouldn't mind if it was an extra or something but fact it's part of meal and couldn't get that right. Other time order was completely wrong so now if I do decide to order again possibly unlikely it will be over the phone so can go through it with them again so this doesn't happen AGAIN as they clearly can't read orders online 👀

07/06/2025: Dined here with my brother in law before a match. Staff were welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. The food was exceptional . We both had the special - half lobster with scallops and prawns. It was incredible.

11/05/2025: Ambiente elegante y gran servicio. Amplio menú de mariscos, con algunos elementos que tienen preparación final y presentación en la mesa. Era nuestro 40 aniversario y la experiencia fue apropiada para el evento.

02/06/2025: Got a spice bag found a big long hair under it about half way through I have short brown hair this hair was long (females hair) and black they said I would have to pay for a new one I said I wouldn’t pay for a new one if it was free she said ok I’ll mention it to them very sorry about that . Spice bag had water all over top off it rock hard chicken and soggy chips had been ordering for years definitely gone down hill staff very rude

07/06/2025: Ordered food and Its been an hour no one showed up. So called the place and the guy who answered said again 20mins and least bothered about order and he is so careless in answering to customers.

25/05/2025: Right, so I ordered through Uber Eats, and then they called me to tell me they couldn't make the milkshake because the machine was broken, and do I want one of the drinks instead. I don't, bc I don't drink soft drinks, so I repeatedly asked them to just cancel that portion of my order, which after repeated attempts it sounded like they said fine. Was it fine? No, instead they threw in a can of coke that I'd specifically and repeatedly said I didn't want (which costs half of the milkshake, so wasn't even an equivalent exchange, price wise) and charged my card fully for the milkshake they didn't send. Additionally, the pic on Ubereats had the burger showing two patties and the one they sent only had one, along with the sorriest excuse for a tomato slice I've seen in a while. To top it all off, the mix kebab I got was so bad I literally couldn't chew through it, nevermind attempt to swallow. It was primarily just fat and cartilage. Like, I could fish out the chicken pieces and eat those, but the lamb/kofta were completely inedible; I could not bite through them.

28/06/2025: This is the best Chipper ever!!!! Love their fish and chips. They also do great value specials all the time. Portions are a good size.

13/07/2024: First time having authentic Italian thick base pizza in Dublin. Definitely I am recommending for all pizza lovers visiting and living in Dublin to try from Astopia!

14/02/2025: It’s Friday morning the centre is not long open. The floor is sticky there’s fingerprints and smears on the glass cabinets and the three staff are happily chatting in the back while four customers are waiting to be served. Everything is disposable from the plates to the cups for sit in service, It certainly will be my last time here.

09/06/2025: Salmon sashimi: really good, and oh so worth the price. Prawn bang bang: pretty good, can't complain. Crab futomaki: okay, neither good nor bad. Veg Pad Thai: on the sweet side, didn't enjoy it. Prawn Tom Yum: sweet, not so great. Tofu Tom Kha Gai: sweet, not so great. Might return for the sushi, was quite a bit of value for money.

09/06/2025: I came here because of the reviews and it was a disappointment, everything was tasteless, the portion was small (which is actually good because it was pretty bad), even the Aloe Vera I ordered came in a glass instead of giving me a bottle. They put ice in it so you pay for the bottle and drink almost nothing. The chair is uncomfortable, not worth the price. Better to stay home.

26/04/2025: My default choice for ramen and dumplings on the Southside! All the ramens I've tried there were very good, lots of ingredients and very filling. The satay sauce with chicken dumplings deserves a mention as well - slightly spicy but not too spicy, just right. Simple but effective.
