The best restaurants in Dublin

23/07/2025: The staff were friendly and patient despite it being very busy. The chocolates are amazing, they even had vegan chocolate bars which I took home as a gift for my mum, she said it is the best vegan chocolate she has ever had. Personally, the coffee chocolate were my favourites, not a lot of places offer coffee chocolates and Butlers has several options.

30/06/2025: Each time i come here with my mom to get a cup of coffee we are greeted with the rudest lady who works there. This issue has to be addressed by managers as judging from other reviews we are not the first people suffering from her attitude. Because of her now we choose the italian spot next door.

08/06/2025: Large order made (21 people) on a Saturday evening via online for a scout group. Everything was perfect, good food & fast service. We couldn't ask for anything else. Thanks a million. We would definitely recommend them and would use them if we stay over in the area again.

01/05/2025: Is there a better “chipper” in Dublin? Is there a better take-away? Hell, but I’ve eaten from some dreadful ones, but I’ve never eaten from any better. Chips and fish remain crisp right up until you can eat them, and the donner kebab is surprisingly delicious. The long eager lines can readily be negotiated by dialling ahead. This is a fabulous place and represents wonderful value.

03/09/2025: I went one time a year ago and since then ive been sent a thousand spam emails from them, pretty much one every day since. Theyve also hidden any option of unsubscribing from them as well so if you interact with them or sign up for anything be warned.

31/08/2025: Laurra laurra laughs We drove here from outside of town to see an Ozzie rocker give us a gigle about his experience of cooking, rocking & neurodiversity. It had been a long time since I was at this venue. It was great to see the venue serving pizza and nachos with the zzrink. We had a great time till we found the nearest carpark closed 30 minutes before the end of the gig. Thankfully the venue was also near the dublin bus terminus and we made it home only to have to collect the car next morning. Nothing to do with the venue, mind you. #ramblingstampcollectors

02/02/2025: I've known this place since the 70's. My dad drank there most of his life. Called in recently, other than decor, hasn't changed much tbh. Lovely staff goes without saying but it's well past it's prime.

25/08/2025: Very over priced for what we got. Staff OK, girl who served us very friendly. The guy who showed us to our table not so much. But the food was the most disappointing part. I got a chicken burger. Very little dressing and no extras. Literally about 2/3 leaves of lettuce and some Frank's type sauce. Not much chicken in the burger. What there was was tasty but expected more for a €20 burger!

14/02/2025: It’s Friday morning the centre is not long open. The floor is sticky there’s fingerprints and smears on the glass cabinets and the three staff are happily chatting in the back while four customers are waiting to be served. Everything is disposable from the plates to the cups for sit in service, It certainly will be my last time here.

30/04/2025: A pesar del nombre, una joya maravillosa en Dublín. La comida era tipo pub, delicioso, y el servicio era excelente. Nos gustó como un lugar divertido para conseguir algo de comida del pub. Nos llevamos dos foodies con nosotros y les encantó también. Maravilloso pescado con papas fritas. Las porciones son grandes, no tengas miedo de compartir.

28/04/2025: Tuvimos nuestra primera cena en Dublín aquí... Estofado irlandés, pan integral, Murphy's Stout y Smithwick's y nos gustó tanto que volvimos a cenar en nuestra última noche en Dublín dos semanas después. Gran ambiente... y asegúrese de ir arriba!

03/08/2025: Went for dinner tonight had the carbonara which was pretty disappointing and the service unfortunately was pretty bad. We had to ask for everything numerous times! I also wanted to double check the time on the booking and emailed days before and left a voicemail after ringing in the days leading up to and never heard a thing back. The one star was for the prosecco it was particularly nice!

30/07/2025: Good pizza, lively selection of ice creams and excellent service. We'll be back.

07/09/2025: Prompt service and friendly staff that are part of the community a long time. Sadly the food has gone down hill. Cold kebabs, raw chips and fewer ingredients on the pizzas. Prices gave shot up which is not their fault, but the food should still be good.

22/07/2025: The hotel is "okay." The rooms don't have air conditioning, and the rooms at the back aren't quieter, but rather noisy, due to their direct location near the highway. Room service needs to be more thorough. I've stayed in many rooms at The Address, and all were dusty in some places, so it's clear that they aren't dusted regularly. The bar is quite nice, offering a variety of drinks and also serving dinner. The food isn't great, nor is it first-rate. There's "standard" hotel food, but it's too expensive for the price. Breakfast, however, is excellent! If you ask the chef nicely, they'll even make you an egg omelet. If you're looking for a simple overnight stay, a good breakfast, and an atmospheric Irish bar in the evening, The Address is the right place for you – although the prices are on the higher end.

07/05/2025: Gran capuchino. Los sándwiches podrían servir con un poco más de relleno. ¡Poco lleno! No lo suficiente, me fui con hambre. Demolí las patatas fritas que estaban sabrosas. El trato de comida incluye una bebida y todo sería muy bueno si sus sándwiches tuvieran un poco más de relleno. Buen servicio y personal amable y eficiente. 28/08/2025: Easily one of the worst venues I have been to. Security are extremely inefficient, I got inside and got a stamp on my hand, left for 30 seconds to meet a friend and was told to queue at the back of the line, defeating the whole purpose of the stamp. The line was super packed and security made no effort to keep the crowd in control, Gardaí had to be called to keep the line in check, took me an entire hour to even enter the venue. This venue has an extremely bad rep among many people now and if they don’t fix these problems it seems like it will lose many customers in the future.

25/08/2025: Love this place for years. Unfortunately bar staff Steve came in pints are not the same so the customers say.

22/08/2025: Was there for all ireland football final .. didn't open untill 1230 .. can't believe they don't look for exemption for the 2 finals .. people queuing outside for 2 hours to get in ..
