The best restaurants in Dublin

25/11/2025: Words cannot even begin to describe this place, I can't speak for the food, however, the hot chocolate from this place is the absolute best I've ever tried. It's been 2 years since I've been to Dublin and every time I have hot chocolate I think of this place. I truly believe this might be the best hot chocolate I'll ever try in my lifetime. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who enjoys a good cup of hot chocolate. The staff is so friendly and they were the ones who ended up convincing me to get a cup, I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious beyond comparison the cup was. It was like nothing I had ever tried before. This was a cup of more than hot chocolate, it was a cup of nostalgia, warmth, and sweetness. With a single sip I could feel my eyes light up as I looked at my friend and told him "This is the best hot chocolate I've ever tried". I don't normally go out of my way to post reviews but I had to make an exception this time. I hope this review is helpful.

01/07/2025: Frank and Honest Grange Road Centre Dublín ... oh Dios mío, estoy tan enojado con esta basura. Mi café favorito es F&H, pero hay un concierto que no es mi asunto, estoy de paso y solo quería tomar un café y usar el baño. Bueno, Caragh (el miembro del personal más ignorante que tuve la desgracia de conocer) fue muy grosero. Como estoy sola, fui al baño de la calle 1 antes de hacer el pedido. ¡Oh, muchacho! Eso fue un gran error. Ella me gritó que saliera de la cola y pidiera una calle. Amablemente pedí usar el baño y necesito un café que tomaré después del baño. Para resumir, me acosaron, me intimidaron y me humillaron frente a otros clientes, así que fui al mostrador, pagué 4 € por un café con leche normal (caro) y pedí que me lo prepararan después de ir al baño. ¡NO! ! Tuve que volver a unirme a la cola al final, mientras mi café con leche se estaba enfriando. 15 minutos de cola y 4€ para usar el baño y los baños eran una vergüenza. No dejaría que mi perro fuera al baño allí. Luego, a disfrutar de un café con leche frío mientras estábamos afuera, ya que no podían proporcionarnos un asiento. Si te avergüenzas fácilmente y no te importa que te traten como a un niño pequeño atrevido, entonces este es tu lugar, de lo contrario, es un BASURERO, EVÍTALO, SUCIO. PERSONAL IGNORANTE al que no le importan los clientes.

09/09/2025: First time to get a take away here. Portion was smallish and the beef green pepper didn't taste like it normally should. Disappointing

10/08/2025: Burrito was terrible. Load of spuds and minced beef in a wrap.

18/05/2025: Great Mexican Food and Really well priced. The setting is great in Humphreys and the table service is excellent. I love coming back here.

28/11/2025: Service was terrible. The place was very quiet, yet I was left standing at the bar for seven minutes before I was served. There was only one person in front of me. Staff refused to take more than one drinks order at a time. Guinness in served from a push button tap, and wasn't the best, I can accept that, but what I cant accept is rude staff that literally ignore you.

17/11/2025: Be careful with your electronics as there insurance policy may not allow you into the building be it with an electric wheel chair or other larger devices

18/11/2025: Definitely one of the most exotic places I've ever visited in Ireland! Unique decor, pet-friendly, a great place to be with friends on any occasion. Good food and friendly with very attractive staff. 😅

17/11/2025: This was a great restaurant! I had the shepherds pie and it did not disappoint would definitely get it again. It was filling and a good price! The salad was also really good and i’m not much of a salad person :)

05/10/2025: Food was lovely. Went for the bottomless brunch. Host was AMAZING. She was so accommodating and kind. Would come back for the service alone.

11/08/2025: Went for the bottomless brunch yesterday and we all had a great time. Food was good, drinks were constant. Staff was extremely lovely and went above and beyond for us. Amazing experience

27/10/2025: If you’re looking for authentic Indian food in the priory market, this is garbage. We assumed we were going to get the food truck experience and was thoroughly disappointed. It’s completely watered down food for the Irish palette which I understand. But, please warn the rest of us. You need a different page for the food truck vs the one at the market. Misleading!!

09/10/2025: Food in outdoor stalls and food in Tallaght has day night difference.was in tallaght today food wasn’t good. I would advise to bring your hammer and chisel to eat food as wooden fork in no use Couldn’t break through samosa with it.

23/11/2025: I have been eating at Michi for years and I never leave disappointed. Even my usually picky kids love the food here. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful.

24/10/2025: Best sushi in Dublin, branches in Ranelagh and Dun Laoghaire also. Top class! (Update: the Ranelagh branch is now closed)

21/11/2025: We went here with our family on November 20th, before returning to the hotel, for our son's birthday. While my husband and daughter ordered, my son and I waited at the sign to be seated. In vain, they walked around but would not come over to help us, just like we were invisible. Then we went in and tried to sit down; there were many empty places, without a reserved sign. They sent us up to a dirty, high-seated place, while there were many free places downstairs. Both upstairs and downstairs, it was visible that in some four-person tables, sitting just two people, or upstairs, in the only four-person place, sitting just one person, clutching a coffee. We also ate, and there were four of us. I can't even say that what we ordered was good. The coffee and hot chocolate were watery, tasteless, just like the cakes. We do not recommend this place. The staff was inattentive and negligent; I'm sure we will not revisit this place.

09/11/2025: Great mangement and service Last week when i forgot my bag in the shop... and they were soo helpful to comeback on odd hour and reopen the shop ... Appreciate your time and consideration to the customers...

05/11/2025: It’s about €15 for 3 tiny tiny chicken tenders ! Asked the guy about it and brought 3 more tenders about the same size. It was so good before but then they changed their menu and then the size went dowwwnn plus you could always get a milkshake with your meal but now it’s €2 50 extra? Also they removed their hot dogs but now sell spice bags??? The only reason it’s 3 because staff are nice go to shake dog in Dublin City again exact same food but much bigger portions

07/07/2025: Caffè Nero's website shows they are open to 6pm. On the door, it says they are open till 5.30pm. I am now standing in front of the door at 4.30pm - the door is locked, the lights are off and there is absolutely no sign of life inside. What is the point of misleading customers in this way?

20/09/2025: Absolutely super service, real moment of truth stuff and they delivered big and saved the night. Highly recommend the crew here. Ambience of a quiet place to eat if you're in the hotel on business.

10/09/2025: It's a hotel bar that serves food. Went for something that was on the menu online, not on the menu. Wanted a cold cocktail, no bartender on so settled for a Guinness, that someone at the bar instructed the server how to pour. Food was average and under seasoned. Atmosphere was rather blah. Server could have used a little help, and a little deodorant. (Sorry)

02/11/2025: If I could, I would give zero starts. I was really surprised by this because its not my first time there and I wanted it to be nice and easy, just drinks with friends and family. I booked the reservation on time, sent an email as instructed (never got the confirmation but what can I do about it?) It was for my Birthday, the girl came and took the table as they said that its reserved. As was mine. It was important that its outside because we all smoke. He told my mom to get up and leave, extremely rude, harsh with words and it looked like he enjoyed it, sick. When I came staff member was TOO RUDE, said that it doesn't matter that I called, then booked via email, and that there is nothing he can do. I did everything that is required, overall my birthday was more complicated by this, I had to go get drinks by myself, they switched the drinks so many times and I said that its not my drink and they made me pay either way. nobody ever came to ask what would we like to drink, its usually a place that I like to visit and have my drinks. It was more than UNPLEASANT service. I didn't want to call the manager because I'm above it. Did it ruin my birthday? Yes it did. Will I go again? No I wont. Will I recommend the place? Absolutely not. I dont know why it's so hard to be a decent human being and see what u can do about the reservation because I did everything I was told to do. To be honest I regret not talking to the manager because I think that this behavior is unacceptable (i worked in service industry for years before and I have to say I've never seen anyone so rude and bad at their job with the smile on his face the whole time) Absolutely disrespectful. He of course didn't want to tell me his name, not surprised. Overall experience 2/10 If u want a drink that u didn't order, to be disrespected by staff members, and pay for that whole experience, this is the right place for you.

09/11/2025: The food is delicious, but the service leaves something to be desired! There are so many staff, yet there are still unpleasant moments with orders, confusion and forgetfulness. Waiting 20 minutes for a slice of pizza?

20/10/2025: I still dream about that ham and cheese toastie. It was absolutely delicious and the perfect meal before our hike in Howth. My sister had the vegan option and was very happy with it. Don't miss out on trying it when you visit Howth!
