The best restaurants in Dublin

09/11/2025: I wish I could give zero stars, I’ve had my fair share of bad customer service but I think this takes first prize. I ordered a 4 in 1 with shredded chicken and a portion of spring rolls from a takeaway that Is 4 mins down the road and straight away I found it weird that he didn’t read the order back to me, didn’t tell me how long it would take or how much it would be and hung up, after waiting nearly a full hour, i received a starter of shredded chicken and spring rolls. I rang them back to let them know and the fella on the desk said that was definitely what I ordered,.. I tried let him know again it was a 4 in 1 with shredded chicken I wanted and he basically said “would you not just eat the shredded chicken no ?” . I was rendered speechless, he could have just said we can’t send you out a 4 in 1 and left it at that but “would you not just eat the shredded chicken no ?” , are you for real ? Have you no skill in customer service at all ? I would have gave you back your mid shredded chicken because when I opened it in the end it was cold, bland, soggy and it went in bin. Shocking overall, do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs.

18/09/2025: ☕ Froth Coffee, Clondalkin Was around Clondalkin today and craving a really good coffee. Searched for speciality coffee and found Froth Coffee and wow, what a find! 💯 Their menu is super cool with all kinds of hot coffees, iced coffees & tasty treats. I went for a latte and honestly enjoyed every sip smooth, rich and perfectly made. 👌 What’s unique is that it’s set up in a container style cafe with a small cosy seating area and a handy takeaway option for both walk-ins and cars. 🚗☕ Definitely a must-visit if you’re anywhere near Clondalkin!

30/07/2025: More than 1 hour to wait for my order. The chicken came cold and tasteless, same for the burger. For this price it was really bad

01/07/2025: Easily the worst smash burger I have eaten. Called in this afternoon to try out the smash burger, skin on fries and a coke zero. The burger was totally crisp / burnt on the edges, no flavour off the meat. The bacon was decent, but hardly any cheese. Smash burgers are my preferred choice, had them in two places on Bray seafront, also dash burger handsome burger etc in Dublin. First time I couldn't finish a burger, fries were grand and the can was cold, but the burger.......

16/11/2025: We had main courses earlier in Crappy’s Jo’s—typical dishes like fish and chips and burgers. The food itself was average: not terrible, but nothing special either. The service, however, was disappointing. Two of our orders arrived incorrect, though they were corrected promptly. One dish came out unusually fast—before our drinks—and the rest followed about five minutes later. Our bill came to €84. I left €100, expecting the normal change, but the waitress returned with only €8. At first I assumed it was a mistake, but then I noticed the bill stated a “recommended” 10% tip, which had been added automatically before giving me my change. While I would have gladly left a 5–10% tip out of courtesy, the assumption and automatic deduction were shocking. I asked for the remainder of my change and left feeling quite put off. I won’t be returning, nor will I be recommending this restaurant.

16/11/2025: Was very full but all food looked good!

22/08/2025: Had a lovely, fresh acai bowl, along with a great latte. I managed to leave my jacket behind, and they kept it safe and sound until I returned to get it. Much appreciated! It seems the name has changed to LaHoya z but it doesn't show up in Maps with that name .

11/11/2025: When you're in need of a great breakfast this is the spot. 2 lovely ladies turning out delicious food at a tenner a head. What's not to like! Highly recommended

06/09/2025: A proper old school cafe, you won't get a better value traditional breakfast & the ladies working there are lovely. Very few of these places left, they should be treasured. Don't come here if you're looking for crushed avocado or berry bowls

05/05/2025: Excellent location. Impeccable, clean room, with enough towels and daily cleaning. Coffee/tea replenished every day, muffins, water and juices upon arrival. We had a room on the top floor, quiet and pleasant. I believe that these are not the most pleasant stairs to climb for those who may have difficulty climbing.

05/12/2025: The ambiance and food was nice. It would be great to see some vegan options along with Staff's alertness towards warning on non-vegan food being served such as prawn crackers and the sauce. The menu could definitely be improved to state it more clearly about the allergens such as fish which is contained in almost all their dips even it comes with a vegetarian option.

01/09/2025: Lovely spot. Very clean. Very warm. Amazing food. Friendly and attentive staff. Have been there a good few times and I haven't been disappointed yet.

01/12/2025: Ordered the Si Chuan boiled beef and chicken rolls. Staff were very friendly, good portion of meat in the dishes and flavours were amazing.. free parking outside

05/10/2025: Cheap takeaway, they should renovate the place, it’s definitely not clean, but food is okay

21/09/2025: Nice little cafe with very friendly and helpful staff. Have some good breakfast and lunch options, or can simply have a cup of coffee with some desserts. Overall the cafe has a very cozy vibe.

13/12/2025: Why didnt I go there earlier? Its an amazing cozy, cute cafe with excellent service and coffee. Best for 2 people or 1. We tried -Avocado lime butter on sourdough 4⭐ Loved the idea, it would make this to an amzing balanced dish if there was an egg/mozarella to balance the tangy taste. But my partner loved it. - weekend special fluffy pancakes with fresh berries 4⭐ Loved the fact that there was generous amount of fresh berries and really good pancake.The cream was way sweet for me otherwise i would give it a 5 Cortado and Mocha ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soooo gooood they use Badger and dodo's coffee beans. Amazing vibe and service top notch.

15/11/2025: Simply great, pleasantly lively yet relaxed and quiet, super friendly and fast service, mega delicious food, and the flat wait was super.

19/07/2025: As we are creatures of habit, we strolled in to Starbucks for a coffee and a blueberry muffin. The service was excellent, very polite. Food and coffee were great. Great spot to sit and relax when out and about.
