25/03/2025: Absolutely the best place for Brazilian treats. I've tried cheese bread, cheese ball and pineapple and cheese pastel here. Delicious! Tried these at other places too but Pastel King is by far the best in taste and price. The seating area is ok. Sometimes a bit messy but not terrible. My diet was out the window the moment I discovered this place. Highly recommend!

20/03/2025: Was in for some drinks which was served by great bar persons. Music is live at the weekend, a good variety, well worth a visit.

12/10/2024: Bought a shot which should be 35.5 ml glass, came in a 30 ml plastic cup. Same price of course. As if pubs aren't expensive enough but they still gotta jip ya, better off going to a pub that cares about customers

17/03/2025: This bar is extremely RACIST. My friend was kicked out for using the men’s bathroom, even though she was not the only one to do so. When we asked security why only she was kicked out and not the other white girls who did the same thing, a bouncer told us it was because we were black. Do not come here if you are POC.

28/03/2025: SECURITY !!!! Hello everyone, I was normally a regular customer of this place. Even though I didn't drink coffee myself, my friends would drink it from time to time and today I walked in and it hadn't even been two minutes since a rude man came up to me and said something like "you won't drink anything, go away" in an otherwise empty cafe and he did this in front of people. In fact, a very cute Indian family was sitting next to me and they said that this way of talking was rude and impolite!!! as a result I went to the waiter and asked him if he knew that I was a regular customer and he said he knew who I was and the person who was rude to me said that he was a security guard and that even though I was a regular customer I wasn't drinking anything right now and he laughed evilly and continued to irritate me and kept interrupting me while I was talking to the barista and humiliating people in front of people. As a result I got angry and had to talk to the barista about the issue with the customers waiting in line. This was very humiliating and annoying. I will send an e-mail to this person, I don't know his name but the incident happened on March 28th around 8 pm. This person was a security guard there..!! and he came to me without getting any information from the manager or the barista and treated me so rudely. At the end of this incident I left the place without buying anything, his attitude made me sick!

19/01/2025: Dear Management, it is to help to improve service at this quite a nice looking place. Ordered coconut matcha. Got it on normal milk but only found out because my partner asked again if definitely on coconut milk as I have cows milk intolerance. When asked to change it, got iced pistachio latte. Also my partner was asked to calm down while asking nicely to change the drink. So from simple coconut matcha ordered, got iced pistachio latte on almond milk??? What went wrong??? Definitely staff should always confirm order before it's completed if not sure. Customer not always need to tell life story of allergies. And magical word Sorry would help. I was disappointed and really frustrated when girl tried to convince me that it was what I ordered first place. We visit East Wall Starbucks quite often and this situation was not pleasant at all and absolutely unnecessary. Staff approach was not the best which shows lack of professionalism, perhaps experience. So if you have intolerance, please say it straight as staff may ignore your order or make it wrong thinking it doesn't matter. It DOes matter. Customers order no diary milk for a reason sometimes. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION. thank you for taking it under consideration. Sincerely. Regular customer.

26/03/2025: After climbing a flight of stairs you will find a quaint and busy restaurant. The food was ok and our server was slow or probably just way busy. With that said, it was St. Patrick's weekend so I'm calling it maybe just a busy off day. I would go back again if I go back to Ireland just to give this fun place another shot.

26/03/2025: Grew up in the area but had been many years since I ate here so I decided to try again and it didn't disappoint! Curry sauce was perfection, chicken soft and tender and so were the prawns. Everything from the classy professional branded packaging to the generous portions was 1st class. Best Chinese I have had in a long time. We definitely get again next time I'm in the area

11/01/2025: No entiendo por qué esto obtuvo tan buenas críticas - la comida es buena, pero el servicio era atroz. Pedimos agua del grifo, pero nos informaron que no estaba disponible y el agua tranquila que recibimos estaba marcada con el nombre del restaurante. Se dedican a la venta ridícula. Cuando pedimos dos aperitivos nos preguntan si queríamos pan por cinco euros adicionales. Mi esposa pidió sopa como entrada, pero no vino con pan como era de esperar. Pedí paté de hígado de pollo y vino con pan, aunque los extremos sanos de la barra de masa madre que se había tostado. Esto es francamente malo. En general la comida era buena, pero el servicio era pobre. Esperábamos unos 30 minutos para el desierto y cuando no llegó pedimos amablemente que nos dijeran que acababa de llegar. Decidimos irnos y el Gerente se acercó y nos aconsejó que tenían que hacer un nuevo lote del ratón de chocolate caliente que ambos pedimos y que estábamos deseando. En general, mi impresión es que este restaurante no merece las críticas gordas que ha recibido. La decoración es pobre y se parece mucho a la última iteración de su predecesor.
