29/06/2025: The last three coffees I’ve ordered for takeaway have been terrible. Very watery coffee with no foam which is disappointing considering it is €4.10 for a flat white. Also a very poorly laid out area with staff and customers crammed into a corner, which causes long wait times for takeaway coffee. Wouldn’t recommend

29/06/2025: Coffee is literally boiling water in a cup no foam at all. I had this experience a couple of weeks ago and decided to try again, but it was the exact same. I am extremely dissatisfied with this service and quality of coffee.

17/08/2025: They have vegan and vegetarian options as well. I bought a mozzarella and pesto sandwich. It was good.

11/08/2025: Went for the vegan sandwich/toastie: very deer, €8.50 and for that price I counted just 3 very thin quarters of a tomatoe, and barely any rocket, so basically just bread and vegan grated cheese. I asked first what was in the sandwich, I was told to just read the menu on the wall, so not a very friendly nor helpful answer, especially when you find out afterwards that there's barely anything in your sandwich.

29/07/2025: I think I could happily exist on dim sum for eternity. Normally it’s a trek into town but gave Rongcheng a go with minimum expectations. It was super, beautiful room, divine dim sum and I’m thrilled to have such a wonderful place in such proximity. Now, every menu of its ilk in Dublin declares home made but this was different to the stuff I’ve had before and I suspect this is the real deal. Now for the shocker. I hadn’t looked at prices as I thought it might turn me off but we had about 8 plates of dim sum, no booze,‘just jasmine tea and the bill was 62 euro which was a bargain for what we had. You are my new favourite Rongcheng. See you soon. My next trick is to rustle up a bunch so we can try a larger selection. Why don’t you do a special dim sum night?? Well done, your rebirth seems to be a triumph and I wish you the best of luck. .

06/08/2025: It’s a hidden gem within the shopping centre. The interior is elegantly decorated. The second level of the café has a quieter, warmer and cosier atmosphere. It also has wonderful views on the second level that overlook the Gaiety Theatre on King St S. They have a large selection of quality loose tea, coffee, cakes, sandwiches and other items. Although, the service alone makes it worthwhile. Always greeted warmly by kind and courteous staff. Fantastic service. Deserves more than 5 stars. If you haven’t already, please give this place a visit.

18/03/2025: I would like to express my concern regarding the availability of V60 or "filter coffee" at your establishment. Previously, I enjoyed this offering, but on my recent visits, I have been informed that it is no longer available. This is perplexing, especially since I can see the filters and equipment for the V60 on-site. This situation feels unprofessional, as I have actively recommended your coffee shop to my friends for its filter coffee, yet none of them have had the opportunity to experience it. I hope you can address this matter and provide clarity on the situation. Thank you.

03/09/2025: Ordered one large nonveg and small veg . But gave the opposite way. Only figured out when reached home. When informed ,They refused to re do the order. Few months before I ordered a tandoori chicken large pizza, but there was no chicken in it. Only consider citywest Domino's as your last option.

30/08/2025: Horrible pizza. They put corse black pepper all over my pizza. Corse black pepper on pizza! After struggling to get through on the phone I took it back myself and after convincing the cashier it is black pepepr they agreed to make a new one only for it to be burnt and dry.

12/06/2025: amazing AMAZING food. me and my friends got egg fried rice, fish and chips, chinese style duck, chicken noodles and a noble house special, as well as an eton mess to share for dessert. it was definitely one of the best meals we've had over the last few weeks as well as the most stunning !!! the food's flavor is perfectly balanced and it's sooo filling as well, completely justifying the slightly high price. the staff is also very very nice and courteous and patient. we'd definitely come here again if we ever came back to ireland.

14/02/2025: What a wonderful place to be in blackrock! The staff at insomnia were fantastic, increadibly kind and helpful after I accidentally spilt my coffee, they couldn’t have been nicer, and made me a fresh one! Great service and great coffee. Well done to the team!

18/08/2025: Ordered two large pizzas one pizza wasn’t cooked properly, called them & they send us another pizza which had piece of hair cooked into it. Didn’t bother calling them again!

07/08/2025: Food: still in the oven. Service: non existent. Atmosphere: terrible in the sitting room right now. ETA timer on app: rage inducing. I have became aged, wiser than the young buck I was when placing this order, forgetting the feeling of hunger as the minutes turn into hours. I await the driver with an anxious anticipation, do i mention my curiosity to the driver of the fact the app told me bare faced the pizza was in the oven for nearly 50 minutes. My dinner is either cremated or a damn pizza lie pie. Just be honest in future about the where abouts of the garlic bread, it’s important to the customer. Hopefully talk soon, The Donny fella
