31/05/2025: Fabulous brunch spot. Our server joked around with us and made us feel right at home. Delicious soup, toast, sandwiches, and coffee. Decoration is lovely and seating is comfortable.

27/09/2025: Yesterday evening I ordered a Margherita and their "famous" dough balls with garlic butter (total about 23€) for takeout. I ate the pizza about 5 minutes after it was done, maybe a SLIGHT hint of warmth and horribly precut (I had a lot of effort trying to tear out a regular (cold) pizza slice shape, I failed. The pizza looked nothing like on the pictures posted online and seemed almost half as big as well. For comparison: online picture of pizza - domino's pizza.
The doughballs and homemade garlic butter were nothing special and also quite tiny. I assume it's better inside the restaurant although I Cannot Recommend ordering for to go! In Germany we call this an Armutszeugnis...

The experience was fantastic, with a wide variety of options, including scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, mushrooms, pastries, cereals, and yogurts. The seating area was comfortable and inviting, and the food was excellent. They also offer a customizable menu, allowing guests to order specific dishes to their preference. The staff was exceptional, providing great service and making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a highly recommended breakfast spot!

The Dog House Blues Tea Room

22/10/2025: We visited The Dog’s House restaurant with some friends, our daughter and dog. Great outdoor seating, friendly staff, and tasty food. Perfect family spot where pets are welcome and everyone feels relaxed and happy.
18/10/2025: Appalling customer service, been a customer here for years. Came here about 2 weeks ago and had to walk out of an empty restaurant as we were left sitting there with no service while the member of staff stood dossing around. Eventually just walked out.
Came again tonight, was left waiting for service again had to shout over to the staff to be served. Didn’t write down the order and had to come back later to write it down, asked for everything to be given together. Eventually the wings came on its own and then 10 minutes later chips, 15 minutes later no sign of the pizza, just paid for what we got and left.

11/05/2025: Estábamos en Sandymount acogedor en busca de la cena y casi se pierde este lugar local - es bastante tranquilo y discreto desde el exterior. Por suerte, decidimos entrar y pedir una mesa.
En el interior, el lugar tiene un ambiente cálido y único con mucho carácter. El personal era muy amable, y la cocina abierta con un horno de pizza visible añade una gran sensación de transparencia y autenticidad.
Comimos mejillones en una deliciosa salsa de vino blanco, seguido de dos platos de pasta diferentes, ambos estaban muy buenos. Disfrutamos de la comida con una copa de vino tinto, una noche perfecta.

17/09/2025: Visited the Aprile chipper, today, looking at the menu, decided on what I wanted to order, voices behind the counter, had to ask can I get served, female popped her head up, put the order in, male then served me didn't like his attitude, if he smiled, he'd get a santa visit, often went in service was great, food was lovely,
