The best restaurants in Dublin

11/06/2025: Gone way downhill recently. It's dirty, the food is average at best and the service is friendly but desperately slow. I won't be back.

10/06/2025: Visited here for the first time during the Bank Holiday Weekend. Good quality food with very big potions. I loved the milkshakes. Staff are very friendly and we're brilliant even though it was very busy. Had to wait 20mins for a table which was between 6pm to 6.30pm. It is a bit expensive as it was €72 for two people having a 2 course with a drink (including alcohol) each. But is very nice for a treat. I would go again. I only have 4 stars as the issue was regarding the bathrooms. You had to ask a staff member for the code. I thought they would be spotless but I was wrong. The women's bathroom had broken pieces like wooden panelling or the toilet itself had no buttons to flush. Also there was no lock on another toilet stall but no sign saying out of order. A lot of the stalls had no toilet paper. Only 1 out of 5 did. There was also no paper to dry your hands. And some customer left rubbish from their handbag on the floor of one of the stalls. The toilets are very badly kept. I don't even know how a wheelchair user would use the disabled toilet as it's tucked away in the corner and looks tight. Also the lift looked narrow even though I didn't use it.

03/03/2025: Fabuloso lugar en el corazón de la ciudad. Una variedad tan amplia en el menú y el personal era tan servicial. El restaurante estaba muy limpio, y nuestras mesas estaban constantemente supervisadas. Sin duda volveré!

27/03/2025: Restaurant is inside the Hilton hotel and it is a good option, since there aren't many places close by. Limited menu but what we ordered (salad and fish and chips) were good.

02/02/2025: I've known this place since the 70's. My dad drank there most of his life. Called in recently, other than decor, hasn't changed much tbh. Lovely staff goes without saying but it's well past it's prime.

15/06/2025: Great service, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Good food, but disappointed with the pão de queijo. We paid €3.5 on two, they’re not only small but not fresh at all.

27/05/2025: First time at Little Bird, and it was superb! Great team behind the counter, the scrambled eggs were delish and the whole atmosphere was just perfect! The coffee is also great, balanced and well-extracted.

30/05/2025: Cozy, friendly and low prices. They treated our young son really well and let him dust his own drink with more cocoa powder.

24/05/2025: I tried this place today but I gave up ordering because the attendant was rude. The coffee place beside this one is much better. Edit: When I was writing this review first I didn't want to mention that I felt that the attendant was rude because I am not Irish, as she clearly attended other Irish people that was behind me and ignored me. I left the coffee place feeling sad. I had to edit this review after reading other reviews mentioning xenophobia because this is exactly how I felt there...

30/06/2025: The customer service in here is appalling. From the minute we were ‘greeted’ at the till. There was a male staff member (skinny with glasses and piercings) on the till that continued to talk to his friends despite us (and others)waiting to place our order. He then made a remark and asked if we were sure about our order. We felt judged by the staff as they also made fun of our order in front of us and the rest of the customers. The other staff (2 short girls and a ginger male with beard) are always lovely and polite. Disgusted with the customer service by Monday’s staff (30th June).

25/05/2025: Staff are very good and make the hotel a good place to stay, Erica at reception is very good as is Susan in restaurant, food in restaurant is beautiful. Unfortunately the mattress we had was terrible, both our backs are killing us this morning and duvet way too heavy for a good sleep.only stayed 1 night so didn't even bother complaining but would not have slept on that bed a 2nd night(room 255)Pity as it's a nice handy spot, with a lovely restaurant but you need to be able to have a good sleep,

01/05/2025: Convenient and quiet location, hotel and parking weren't busy. The standard room was accordingly to the standard features. However, I was expecting that they provide the disposable slippers and the bottle of the water that is a good level of service for a 4-star hotel.

31/12/2024: Ordered mix kebab meal. Little to absolutely no chicken in kebab, not to mention paid for cheese but wasn’t in it, staff very rude . Not worth the money wasn’t even nice

12/06/2025: Lovely, little deli, where I often go for a biryani wrap and my decaf latte. Friendly staff and it has a range of probably delicious pastries (I haven’t indulged... Yet).

04/05/2025: Dillon’s seems to have reopened recently after being dark for a while. I’ve had lunch and some small plates at dinner time, and the food is of good quality and nicely presented. They do always seem to be missing some ingredient or another on the menu though. I think Dillon’s would be perfect for filling a market gap in this area: weekend brunch. They already have a decent breakfast menu and nice coffee, all they need to do is add eggs Benedict and avocado toast, and expand the hours to the afternoon. Dillon’s could capture the morning Phoenix Park runners and midday tourists walking by, not to mention the massive apartment blocks nearby who would make loyal customers!

05/04/2025: I went on April 1-25, we ordered fish and chicken curry, which was not tasty, but filling. We paid a total of approximately 49 euros. It is centrally located and the service is pleasant and fast.
