The best restaurants in Dublin

08/09/2024: Picked up a simple take away of two Chicken Kung Po's with fried rice- there was absolutely no resemblance whatsoever to the flavour we expected- in fact it had to be the worst dish I've ever had. Even the prawn crackers were off. I hate to give bad reviews but this dish was so awful I felt it was worth mentioning to the public.

04/09/2024: Very pleasant experience tonight, picked up a spice bag, good size, could have had a little more chicken and slightly less salt but did the job - very friendly staff. Will return

29/10/2025: Excellent! The waiter was fantastic; he was friendly and helpful. I think the restaurant is very beautiful, and the subdued lighting was lovely too. The meal was very good, and reasonably priced for the city. The dishes were also beautifully presented.

22/08/2025: Great meal in there on a busy Saturday evening. The bruschetta had so much freshness and pesto I want to marry it. One main was stunning and had to take some home there was so much. The sea food linguini was brilliant with one on top for photos to friends! Few glasses of house red to assist it all go down. Fantastic Italian food in a great little spot.

13/09/2025: Writing a review from today 13/09/2025. Ordered a tea to sit in. The Eastern European lady did not make my tea for over 10 minutes. I stood up to ask for my tea and an Asian lady kindly made the tea immediately it appeared the first server forgot. No apology provided. As I was leaving the premises I put a paper bag in the bin for rubbish. On seeing me putting the bag in the bin, the Eastern European server removed my bag from the bin and placed it on a table and stated “excuse me don’t put that in the bin it’s yours”. It was a recycling bin so in the correct bin? She then rolled her eyes had a very negative attitude and walked away. Very rude and unnecessary behavior from this waitress. The bag was a paper bag from another premises but was clean and placed in the correct bin. Please educate your staff on appropriate customer service etiquette & if there is a policy about not putting paper bags from other premises in a bin please inform customers so they don’t have to face such an interaction as I did today.

10/08/2025: Chicken was pink inside and cold girl working in place was nearly sitting on my shoulder when I asked to see the menu again an kept asking why the child not eating the chicken absolute muck never again

05/10/2025: Get the spice bag. Whether you sit down inside or eat it outside trying to keep it dry from pouring rain, it is delicious. If you order anything else, keep your poor rating to yourself for picking the wrong menu item to order and eat.

11/10/2025: At the heart of the community serving locals for the last 30 plus years the finest fresh fish & chips to a simple cup of tea or coffee this takeaway or sit down takeaway has it all under one roof 👍🏻

08/08/2025: Food was horrendous and expensive 17:50 for a collection for one. Dry chips, cheap small cheap sausages, lumpy microwave curry sauce.

03/10/2025: Best spicebag! But Google maps and the website opening times need to be updated. At the moment it says it’s open till 1am on Thursday when it is actually 12pm. I ordered online for collection at 12:35pm but got a call at 12:10pm saying I needed to collect my order asap as they were closing. This should be amended to avoid confusion in the future!

30/09/2025: Today , I'm order the Duck black bean ( less salt , less msg , less sugar , no carrots) and long tray boil rice . But they make the food sweet in duck black bean and boiler rice warm .. the food not delicious and 1 star 4u

04/10/2025: Poor/Disrespectful Service I was there, and the service was terrible. It was a cold day, with several girls at the table getting cold from the wind. It took over 25 minutes to turn on the heater. They turned it on gradually, but they didn't even notice where we were. It was disrespectful. I asked if it was broken, and they said it wasn't, but they didn't. It took a while to clear the plates, and because it was a large table 12 people, the waitresses seemed to disappear. I don't recommend it...

08/07/2025: Spice bag tray was very good! Not the stringy chicken. Fresh chips and the spicy chicken burger was very good, I think they put pepperoni in it also which was nice. Everything was cooked fresh to order, better chipper than those here in swords

01/12/2025: Fast and efficient service. A spacious and quiet place, even when it's full. Much better than the McDonald's on the same street.

28/11/2025: Food was ok. Toilets were awful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Other customers were rude. Lady asked if she could remove a chair from our table. I agreed. She then proceeded to use the chair on the next table so I was blocked in. She then decided to move to another table anyway.

04/08/2025: I've never in me life found it so hard to order so I went elsewhere
