01/06/2025: Great service and tasty food!
I stopped by KFC Carrickmines recently and was really impressed. The staff were friendly and efficient, and my order came out hot and fresh. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. It’s a reliable spot for a quick meal, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Special shoutout to the team for keeping things running smoothly even during a busy time!

04/05/2025: A total rip off of 10 plus euros just for bottled water as they charged stating we have to take water and we can't come and have just food . A weird rule they have but they should have told us before about this rule . Never going back here . Check with them before u order anything never know what other rules they have . Not going back here at all .

14/06/2025: I've been coming to this area for gigs for over 20 years and Aprile used to be the spot for proper chips and a good feed. It's prices have now gone a bit silly and the food downhill.
My friend and I had two separate 1 star experiences this evening. Earlier on, he got a batter sausage and chips - standard Dublin order - and he said both the chips and sausage were baaad. He said the chips were overly greasy, way too salty and the sausage was a coddle sausage. I got a curry chip for €5.90 and the tray was about 70% full.
Very poor and lots of inexperienced staff tonight.
09/06/2025: Good tasty food when cooked properly and for long enough. Have had during the day and it's been a bit disappointing and undercooked, great during the evening though.

09/03/2025: This is a brilliant oasis amongst the madness that is Temple Bar. If you want a chilled drink or dinner, this is the place. It's lovely to be within such a great cultural venue, really buzzy. The food was ace as was the wine. Also had beers on tap. Friendly staff. Somewhere it's easy to spend a few hours eating, drinking and talking. Highly recommend.

20/06/2025: Worst bag of chips we’ve ever eaten in our lives, gave it one star but should be zero. Hard to tell if half of it is even chips, some of it just seems like scraps from the end of the deep fat fryer. This place is robbing a living from all the drunk punters after matches and concerts, very expensive too €7 for a bag of “chips” and awful curry sauce, there was only 3 full chips in the whole bag. Avoid at all costs

23/05/2025: Terrible food and rude staffs I have been managing to patronise from them because they are the only African restaurant closest to me but seems this would be my last time patronising them. Their staffs are unnecessarily rude, one of them called to get clarity on what I put on the note which was clear and while telling him he started laughing didn’t even hear me out was so rude and cut the call very unprofessional behaviour.

07/06/2025: It’s a clean and nice place, the coffee is tasty, and the staff are friendly. But sometimes strange people do come in — I actually caught someone trying to steal my wallet once. Also, there’s an issue with the ventilation system i guess. From time to time, the entire place smells like the toilet, and unfortunately, this has been going on for quite a while.
25/04/2025: We have been now at 19.00 .
We asked for coffee in site.we have been told :"no ,we dont serve now ,we can only serve in takeaway cups,this is absolutely disrespectful and disgraceful, they said se don't turn on the dishes washer for you.
It's a shame and the staff are so rude

You can order at the cart and then kick back at the tables facing the river, enjoying the serene views. They offer a great selection of pastries and breakfast options, all served by a young and incredibly friendly staff.
24/05/2025: €9.95 for a sandwich from a shipping container? No thanks! Atrocious prices. (The prices changed from €8.75 - which was already steep)
