09/02/2026: On what can only be described as one of the wettest days known to modern civilisation, the sort of rain that makes you question your life choices, I met my better half after her Pilates class just up the road. It was a random Tuesday, the sky was staging a full theatrical meltdown, and we decided we deserved a small victory. Enter Noble House. We burst in from the monsoon like two survivors of a maritime disaster and immediately found a lovely buzz in the place. People tucked into plates of food, glasses clinking, warm chatter bouncing around the room. It felt like stepping into a dry, glowing sanctuary where bad weather simply isn’t invited. The staff greeted us with proper warmth, the kind that makes you unclench instantly. My girlfriend ordered a Chinese tea that arrived steaming like a miniature hot spring, thawing her back to life sip by sip. I went for a coffee, strong and comforting, the culinary equivalent of a firm handshake. Then came the starters. Spring rolls that shattered with a crisp crackle, releasing fragrant, savoury filling that demanded immediate respect. The squid was tender, lightly crisp, and dangerously moreish, disappearing from the plate at a speed that suggests we should have ordered two. For the main event we shared the beef Szechuan. And this is where things got serious. Glossy slices of beef coated in a sauce that was rich, spicy, and gloriously aromatic. Each bite delivered warmth and punch without going overboard, the sort of dish that makes you lean back and nod in quiet approval between mouthfuls. All of this enjoyed from a cosy booth that felt tailor made for a proper catch up with your missus. Rain hammering outside, great food inside, and that smug satisfaction of knowing you’ve made the correct life decision. A simple midweek date night that turned into a small, delicious triumph. Exactly what was needed.

15/02/2026: Ordered food at 1am and it came.Guess what? Its sizzling hot omg.WHOEVER WAS THE DELIVERY GUY THAT BROUGHT THIS FOOD TO BARNWELL POINT I LOVE YOU.YOU NEED A BIG RAISE!

23/01/2026: The man behind the bar asked me if I wanted to pay for his “services” while rubbing suggestively low near his crotch area and when called out by a female member of staff he replied with “what else do you expect when there’s a blonde sitting in front of me”. Absolutely insane carry on and he continued to laugh in my face when I was clearly very uncomfortable. I would like to hear back about what is being done about this situation.

02/01/2026: 8 months pregnant waiting 20 minutes at the bar to be looked after, my uncles funeral and was spoken to horribly and told they were short staffed so there was nothing they could do but staff walking around chatting very bad service horrible staff wouldn’t waste me money here

17/10/2025: I was informed that Sunday - 12th Oct 2025 was the final service in Mario’s Ranelagh Great place, busy with locals! Nice food, House white wine was fab.

03/10/2025: Very disappointing. We were met by a sullen unfriendly staff member with very limited English and zero customer service skills. Throughout the evening we were served by four different staff members, no continuity of service and yet it took us the best part of 15 minutes to catch someone's attention to get the bill. At no stage were we asked if everything was ok or if we were enjoying our meal. Nobody said goodbye as we left, they were too busy sweeping and mopping the floor (at 9pm!). Food was ok. We thought our pasta portions were quite small, overpriced and I could make better myself. Overall impression was impersonal, take it or leave it service. As long-term residents of Ranelagh, very sad to see Mario's has gone downhill big time.

20/10/2025: Ordered food for pickup on their website at 6:30 on a Sunday. Arrived to collect at 6:40. Staff couldn’t find my order initially until I gave the order number off my confirmation email. Said it’d be ‘a few more minutes’. Was finally ready at 6:55. My unusually long wait suggested they started cooking it after I arrived. Food was fine, as usual.

27/09/2025: The food is delicious, I prefer less black pepper, but it depends on personal taste. The atmosphere is pleasant and the waiters are also good.

07/04/2025: Gran relación calidad-precio y encantador estado de ánimo relajado en el lugar. La única deducción se debió al hecho de que estábamos sentados cerca de la puerta y teníamos una brisa fría cada vez que abría. Debido a la comida fabulosa que era bastante a menudo como costumbre era rápido

25/02/2025: Comida sabrosa y un servicio educado y bueno! Pasamos por un poco de almuerzo y los cuatro disfrutamos! La comida llegó rápido y grandes porciones!

01/02/2026: DO NOT GO HERE INSECTS IN FOOD Myself and my boyfriend ordered two subs each today and after my boyfriend took a bite of his we noticed small grey insects crawling out of the food. We called them up to let them know and the person on the phone was horribly rude kept saying "what's the problem" after telling them there's insects in the food. He said "well then take a picture if that's true". We'd already threw the food out in the bin because I was horrified. Honestly a horrible attitude to have from the staff and I've gotten sick from the thought of it all.

08/01/2026: Nice but unfortunately due to prices going up I wont be going as often. The era of fast food is dieing

28/02/2026: Ordered a take away from here a few weeks ago. Took over an hour and a half to come and was cold when it came. Spice bag had hardly a drop of chicken. I used to order here regularly but i recon im done now

21/02/2026: No chopsticks or cutlery, either the side dish was wrong or I had to look more closely to find the eggs in the rice. Fair point is that they are open late

14/01/2026: It’s like they get paid extra to mess up your order. Keep getting given the wrong burger. Every time I try to give them another chance they do the same thing. Disappointing.

03/01/2026: This restaurant has a bad habit of getting orders wrong this happened twice to me and now its the third time I'm never ordering from here again I ordered chilli cheese bites and got chicken nuggets i recommend everyone to check there order before receiving it

24/10/2025: Drove to collect and they don't do card cash only which is illegal now had to get delivered and then it arrived cold .. very bland would not recommend

18/01/2026: 1 star and they're lucky to get that They didn't send my kids food, after 4 time ringing them they would only blame their drone partner manna and take no responsibility. Ended up saying they would charge me again to get the food resent, because they did nothing wrong. Shocking customer service. The food they did manage to deliver to us was muck as well
