The best restaurants in Dublin

26/03/2026: I ordered a spice box yesterday and was really disappointed. It was extremely salty and not enjoyable at all. There was very little chicken included, especially considering the price, so it didn’t feel like good value for money. Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad impression.

17/03/2026: Plenty of healthy and varied options for the meat to the vegan and paleo lovers. Much better than your average asian takeaway.

23/04/2026: I ordered and ate my meal downstairs, food and service was fine until I finished the meal. I decided to go upstairs to use the bathroom and as I reached the stairs was stopped by an aggressive non Irish security guard who said I has not ate here, toilets were for paying customers only. I pointed out where I was sitting, he said he didn't see me there, maybe if he spent less time on his phone sitting using up a table for customers he'd have seen me. He asked for a receipt, I did not have one as I paid by card, luckily I had a notification on my phone showing I paid by Revolut, when I showed the drop down notification which had the name supermac's, the amount I paid and the time, he said to unlock the phone and show that it was paid today, did he think I'd have kept a notification waiting from another time to get to use the toilets there? When I unlocked the phone and opened the app showing it had been paid 13 minutes previously he finally relented without so much as an apology. A bit of customer service training for that particular guard would be of service and maybe if he actually paid attention to his surroundings rather than on his phone he wouldn't have to needlessly stop as many people.

26/03/2026: The staff are amazing ! But the pub itself is one of the greatest in Dublin! Very traditional Irish pub used to sell fabrics so the ruler is there !!!! They even have MODELO beer! Great - BEST SPOT!

11/03/2026: Globe by name only... Nothing like the old place. Toilets were spotless etc.

30/07/2025: More than 1 hour to wait for my order. The chicken came cold and tasteless, same for the burger. For this price it was really bad

23/08/2025: In viaggio a Dublino ho mangiato più volte in questo posto, sempre molto soddisfatta. Ottimo il loro piatto della tradizione fish & chips, per me in versione senza glutine con una perfetta panatura croccante e non unta. Atmosfera informale ma con stile e servizio attento e curato. Una nota particolare alla professionalità e simpatia di Simone!

22/08/2025: GOT A HAIR IN MY FOOD !!! WHEN I POINTED THIS OUT TO STAFF SHE SAID THE HAIR IS BLACK , AND YOU HAVE DARK HAIR . BUT OTHER STAFF HAD LONG BLACK HAIR ALSO . I GOT NO APPOLAGY NO SORRY NO NOTHING. SHE JUST WALKED OFF AS IF IT WAS MY PROBLEM NOT HER'S. RUDE , AND CHEEKY STAFF . UN TRAINED IN FOOD SAFTY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. DONT EAT HERE , ITS A DUMP.

27/03/2026: Never fixes their machines and fairly overpriced for what you get.

19/03/2026: We paid a deposit for bottles of orange juice. At the same checkout, we wanted to return the bottles and get our deposit back. This wasn't possible. We were directed to a machine, but at the same time, they told us that the machine wasn't working. We were told to return the bottles at the next store.

12/11/2025: The food here might be ok at normal times, but don't do the Too Good to Go surprise bags here. We did this yesterday and I go 3 wraps. Two which were the same. These are end of day products, but the quality of this was definitely 'too bad to sell'. Too Good to Go was really good when I used it while working in London. But I deleted the app after some very poor experiences there. One try in Dublin and I've deleted this app again.

11/11/2025: Very nice food. With reasonable prices too. I especially enjoy the Bueno tiffin. Would recommend.

14/11/2025: Breakfast was great but £7.50 on the bill for 2 tea's is a bit 2 much and extras £4 for 2 slices of toast!

09/11/2025: The best cafe in Dun Laoghaire and the fact that it is always busy is testament to this. Very good coffee and a wide selection of breakfast/brunch/lunch dishes to suit all diets.

09/03/2026: Was good day but needed more staff to cater for soup n sambos but where very welcoming

21/02/2026: Could do with some updates but the staff are just amazing. Was there for not the best reasons and the staffade everyone smile

07/03/2026: Came here as a party of three for brunch. Seated straight away, however we were left waiting for a while before our order was taken. Food was delicious but staff could be slightly more attentive.

17/01/2026: Ordered two margarita pizzas here this evening. Hardly any sauce or cheese on either so they were extremely dry (like cardboard). Would not recommend!!!

20/04/2026: Everything is frozen. Chicken, burgers, fish. Chips are nice and fresh. Taco mince is done in the microwave. Wouldn't be in a rush back but does the job.

10/04/2026: Friendly staff and ok prices but terrible food. Ordered a chicken burger which was dry and tasteless unfortunately. The fries were super soggy with a taste of frying oil. Dont recommend unless you’re in a hurry and need a quick bite as there was minimal waiting time
