The best restaurants in Dublin

09/12/2024: Adorable staff, calm and super cute area 😍. Crazy prices but that’s commun Dublin prices 😅. At least no surprising fees at the end on the bill !

29/10/2024: The place is stunning and beautifully decorated with great taste. However, the dishes didn’t quite meet our expectations for the price they have. The portions were smaller than expected, and the flavors could have been better. Additionally, the service was slow, even though we were the only ones there (3 pm for a late lunch). We’ll return for coffee or cocktails, but likely not for the food.

16/01/2025: If you’re a fan of takeaways you have to try this place ! I have a few other spots I like to order from but this place comes out on top for me. The staff are always so helpful and the food is always piping hot. I tried the mango habanero wings for the first time and will definitely be getting them again. If you like spicy and sweet you have to try. 10/10 as always !

04/04/2025: The “fresh” juice is actually a mix of squeezed juice and bottled juice, which is misleading.

06/03/2025: Fabulous venue for breakfast/brunch with very good service and plenty of room. Only gripe was that ordering was a bit of a palaver, there are QR codes on the tables which didn’t work so we had to gob up to the counter to ask for menus. Also make sure you sit upstairs as downstairs is very dark and dingy and the toilets are pretty basic.

06/12/2024: First time ordering from Pablo Picante - as well as my last. I had the steak bowl. It's utterly bland and sloppy. Reminds me of high school cafeteria food. Utterly dreadful. Far too expensive for what you receive. There are far better Mexican places in Dublin that put this chain to shame. How anyone can give this food 5-stars is beyond me. It's revolting - perhaps the worst food I have eaten all year.

29/07/2024: The worst dining experience I have ever had!!! I wouldn't give anywhere a bad review but this was shocking. Firstly me and my wife were greeted with as much as a grunt and a "Sit wherever we are empty anyway" attitude. We were sat at a table where menus were basically thrown at us. The layout of the menu is awful the mezze boards were written all over the place, when my wife tried to order the Syrian platter the owner repeated Beirut, she pointed at the Syrian on the menu and he repeated yes its the Beirut, which of course when it came it was not what we wanted on the platter at all, and at a price of €25 is too much to be wrong. We ordered the rest of our meal which was promptly rushed out of my wife as if he had better things to be doing. All the time we were there we were never asked for drinks so I had to ask as he had no interest, and on the menu it said it came with ice and lemon, but it arrived with neither. Our mains arrived and my Wifes tasted like the yoghurt sauce had turned, and there were no pomegrante seeds as stated on the menu. Mine was rock solid, molten hot (Microwaved) and contained plastic containers for sauce that you would expect from a take away. The meat and rice were so hard and inedible that as I write this I feel physically ill. I proceeded to try and ask could we get the bill and explain that the food had been inedible but to my surprise me and my wife were left completely alone in the restaurant with no one. I went into the kitchen and found someone and asked could we sort the bill and where our waiter was to be told he has left and we would have to wait until whenever hes back. This is outragious he left his customers completely alone in the restaurant and we were expected to stay than pay for attrocious inedible food. The poor kitchen porter was super apologetic and even looked afraid of what will happen when his boss arrives back. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

01/03/2025: Used to be my favorite takeaway. Ordered tonight for first time in ages. Rice portions far smaller. Curry had a layer of oil on top. Quality has gone down and so has portions. Dissapointing

24/02/2025: Waited two hours for order to be delivered. Live less than 10 minutes from restaurant, rang after almost an hour and a half, told it was on the way. Rang again another half an hour later to be told they'd no way to track driver, when I mentioned food would be cold, was told it wouldn't be as in an insulated bag. Was told there would be €10 credit in store for me, order was almost €40. Food arrived, was cold, had to be reheated, spice box was tipped over and slightly open in bag. Also spice box had only 6 pieces of chicken in it. Very disappointing.

09/03/2025: The IFI's in-house cafe is a convenient downtown option, especially for filmgoers. Their brunch menu now includes avocado toast, which, while promising, needs refinement. The avocado would benefit from being mashed and seasoned with salt, pepper, lemon, and oil, and the bread should be upgraded for a more satisfying experience.

09/03/2025: This is a brilliant oasis amongst the madness that is Temple Bar. If you want a chilled drink or dinner, this is the place. It's lovely to be within such a great cultural venue, really buzzy. The food was ace as was the wine. Also had beers on tap. Friendly staff. Somewhere it's easy to spend a few hours eating, drinking and talking. Highly recommend.

18/03/2025: 10 mins to closing, coffee machine was closed the guy said .Came in to get a quick coffee and a donut… When it should be open for the next 10minutes for customers to order a coffee and get a donut if they like. Got nothing bad customer service.

18/04/2025: The music is always extremely loud, which makes everyone end up shouting at each other. It’s not really a good place for conversation or studying. I would suggest turning the volume down. Good service and food.

31/03/2025: Got a table at 14:50pm and was left sitting at the table for 20 minutes without been asked if we wanted any drinks or wanted to order keeping in mind that the restaurant was basically empty and the customers in it had already been served when we walked in. To make it worse a couple that arrived after us got served before we did so we decided to leave the restaurant due to very bad customer service.

03/03/2025: This is my third visit to Dublin and this is the first restaurant where I taste food with the same taste as Saudi Arabia. I ordered chicken shish, which consists of chicken tenders (quite large in size) grilled and accompanied by several salads, and it comes with bread like Tamayoz.. The taste is wonderful and the chicken is tender.. We also ordered lentil soup, which was delicious, but it was not yellow lentils as is usual with us, but rather unground brown lentils, and it also came with special bread.. The amount of food is very high...the price is not considered cheap... They have shawarma that I haven't tried. The service is great and the place is comfortable..
