24/08/2025: Ordered three cod and chips and was very disappointed. One portion was tiny, and the batter on all three was overcooked and too hard — my elderly family members had to eat the fish out of the batter. Chips were fine, but overall poor quality for the price and reputation. I contacted the shop but the reply felt like a generic script, not a real acknowledgement of the issues. Very disappointing. We won’t be back and I don’t recommend — especially surprising for a seafront restaurant with such a reputation.

07/08/2025: Just had the pizza made by Jacqueline, and it was absolutely fantastic! The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the whole thing was cooked to perfection. You can really taste the love and skill she puts into her cooking. Highly recommend trying it – you won’t be disappointed!

20/10/2025: A good restaurant located right in the harbor of Howth. Excellent preparation using fresh produce and tasty results. Vegetarian options are available. Service is fast and attentive. From the terrace, you can enjoy the views and the sea breeze. Reasonable prices. I recommend it.

20/08/2025: Service was prompt & polite. Restaurant was very quiet on a Sunday early evening, only two other tables occupied. The pasta was decent and the chicken wings were just OK. Prices were very reasonable. Interior was clean if not a bit soulless.

26/07/2025: Middle of the day, restaurant was empty. Asked if my 4 year old could use the toilet - lady at the desk replies "Toilets are for customers only". Won't be giving my custom to make the place less empty...

13/03/2025: Ate breakfast (porridge for €2 - tasted great) and lunch (sweet potato salad is lovely) here serveral times during a short trip. Excellent selection of food and drinks, decent prices and fantastic staff/service and a generous sitting area. Would gladly recommend.

09/09/2025: I wouldn’t leave a bad review but oh my days the pizza is like rock the pepperonis are thick sausages there’s literally tomato skin on the pizza the cheese falling off absolute disgusting

06/09/2025: Borza is my favourite but to say I am disappointed is an understatement this is the second time in the past 4 weeks the food has been bad. Paid €56 for a burnt over cooked pizza , soggy chips and I’ve no words for the smashed onion rings I received. Told the driver had no phone spent 15 mins on a goose chase trying to find him and back and forth on the phone to the shop to figure out where he would be but honestly don’t think il order here again. Very poor service considering it’s almost €60 paid. Not good enough

16/08/2025: High quality chipper. I don't usually get much take away but feel less guilty because the quality and taste is always amazing here.

04/10/2025: There is not much consistency here, one time you order a matcha latte and cheese toastie and it is lovely, another time you order it and it has lumps in the matcha due to poor mixing and the cheese toastie is burned. It's a bit disappointing and it really depends who is in the kitchen and serving you!

29/07/2025: Great coffee and very nice staff. A shame the outside tables and chairs aren't there anymore - it was a lovely place to sit and chill out, and was the main draw for me. Still, a very good café.

08/07/2025: Spice bag tray was very good! Not the stringy chicken. Fresh chips and the spicy chicken burger was very good, I think they put pepperoni in it also which was nice. Everything was cooked fresh to order, better chipper than those here in swords

23/10/2025: King's Biryani, Stillorgan, is truly amazing! The Biryani and Egg Fried Rice were absolutely flawless—a perfect 10/10. The Seekh Kebabs were equally exceptional. Even the Tandoori was excellent. Beyond the stellar food, the chef is awesome, the staff is wonderful, and the whole place has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

08/10/2025: Food bland and argumentative when I brought it back. Ordered Thai Green Curry €12 it used to be great sadly as time has gone on the quality and taste has gone downhill. Different every time. Roll of the dice whether it’s going to be good or not. Boiled rice over cooked mushy. Only half filled a portion of sauce. Taste bland. Returned it and ordered salt and chillie chips €7 instead. Wasn’t a crispy chip in the bag. Took ten minutes of explaining to get the refund difference of the two meals. Trying to say I ate half so I pay for half. Good luck with that! Instead of taking some constructive criticism on the dish, they took it personal and suggested I don’t order the Thai Green Curty next time. I won’t be ordering next time. I’ll save my money.
