The best restaurants in Dublin

30/06/2025: Ask em for a hot whiskey and tell them a Newfie told you to do so! ;) Best pub with the best barmen - love that it wasn't packed to the walls with tourists (like me). Lots of friendly locals and a great live music after 7!

07/06/2025: Overall a good location, but a few euros should be spent on maintenance. The room entrance door works terribly, the shower and sink drain terribly, the carpet should be replaced with a good standard laminate floor.

28/05/2025: The ice cream is very mediocre and industrial. Don't be fooled. The taste is very chemical. Move on by. We were very disappointed and disgusted.

28/06/2025: Only had a quick look as it was Eddie's Dive bar but didn't buy anything as didn't have cash. Staff were friendly.

27/06/2025: I was in at the Iron Maiden, Eddie's Dive bar. It was busy, and the service was quick despite that. Staff were nice. I was chatting to one after he was saying loads of people were coming in to see it and enjoy the Maiden theme. The bar, they have loads of spaces to go, a smoking area, and a large upstairs bar music venue, which had an Iron Maiden tribute band playing. They have a few non alcoholic beers. I had a really nice Guinness 0.0.

11/06/2025: Would not recommend - poor experience despite fairly empty of customers. Grossly expensive and overpriced for take away - €8.20 for what would be a medium size Americano (€3.70) and 3 x Hash browns (€1.50 each). Hash browns were soggy & barely lukewarm.

19/05/2025: Disappointing Experience at Sanda Mediterranean on the evening of 16/5/25 I rarely write reviews, but I felt it was important to share what we witnessed during our visit. A very polite and lovely man approached the restaurant to place an order, and instead of being greeted kindly, he was treated very rudely by the manager. When he asked if he could sit outside, the manager responded dismissively, asking where he was sitting. The man pointed outside where the man's wife was sitting,but the manager immediately said, “No, you’re not,” claiming the table was reserved for Mick. When the man asked if they could sit inside instead, the manager again refused, saying the table was reserved for someone else, and then laughed at him. Even the staff seemed shocked by this behavior and asked why the reserved signs weren’t put on the tables, but the manager just shrugged it off and laughed. The man was left standing there, visibly upset, while the manager went back to chatting with other customers who appeared uncomfortable with what had just happened. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and unnecessary. We paid for our drinks and decided to leave after witnessing this exchange. The manager or owner should apologize to that man for the way he was spoken to and treated. Such behavior reflects poorly on the establishment, and I hope it improves for future customers. Sadly, this experience has made us decide not to return.

05/02/2025: Chicken and chorizo toastie for lunch was absolutely delicious. Place looks nice, was full of midday sunshine and had a relaxing atmosphere. Staff kindly left me to it as I waited ages for my friend to arrive. First time visiting this place and would happily return

31/05/2025: We showed up at 11:35pm. (Said open to 12:30) anthe place looked like it closed years ago? I am surprised at how this town seems to roll up the sidewalks at midnight. Had to go to a hotel bar for an overpriced Guiness. What a miss.

31/12/2024: Seen this bar on TikTok, the Guinness looked unbelievable and a whopper price of €5. Had to try it for myself, me and two mates ventured out to it. Greeted with a friendly welcome by the locals, one of the best Guinness in town. Shocked by it. Would be back next time in around this area, don’t believe the stereotypes of this place, down to earth people and owner was so sound.

14/06/2025: This place used to nice and reasonable, the old guy there he's a rip off merchant..ordered a batter sausage and not a single chip thrown in, for 4euro!? 50 cents more than most other chippers and couldn't spare a chip, so scabby

11/06/2025: While trying to get home this evening and finding the darts out of action yet again and given the choice of squeezing myself onto an already full bus at 5pm on a sunny evening or Walk to Lansdowne road I chose wisely, by the time I reached blackrock I was hungry after a long day in work and came across the oasis that was the central cafe, quiet and busy if that's possible, great menu, plenty of choices and very reasonable prices, I settled on the quarter pounder and chips and was not disappointed, plenty on the plate and lovely staff with a well timed smile 😁. Definitely will be coming back, thanks guys for making the reminder of a long walk possible

Conseguir comida y luego hacer cola para pagar significaba que la comida estaba fría, especialmente cuando la persona continuaba hasta que tomó siglos tratar de encontrar artículos. La comida tenía potencial para ser bueno, pero el servicio lo decepcionó.
