16/08/2026: Honestly worst experience 2hours waiting I rang after 1hr 30mins to be told my food hadn't even left the attitude of the girl on the phone when food arrived worst kebabs we have ever had they were actually un edible we bined them barley any veg or sauce on them so bland just loaded with dry tasteless meat I took a picture but won't let me upload here so disappointing

21/08/2026: Chips were greasy. Meat patty was tiny and bun wasn't properly toasted or warm. The sauce wasn't pleasant either. The whole place smelled like it had been cleaned with a dirty mop and the service was unwelcoming. Plenty of better places nearby.

13/08/2026: i have never seen a more wet burger bun in my life. my 68 year old dad confirmed it was the worst beef burger he has ever eaten. shocking.

10/09/2026: Chips are great and very large, kebab is okay, fish is huge and delicious.

17/08/2026: We were 2 women in the shop who wanted to have a fish and chips, unfortunately once we entered the store, we were completely ignored and the staff couldn t care less about us. So we waited, but once the guy at the counter asked the guy BEHIND us in the queue (arrived after us) he took his order and never ours. So save your money, never go eat at this sexist restaurant, with rude staff and poor hygiene and cuisine. You should rather go to Ramen and co down the street.

26/07/2026: Has been taken over and recently renovated, so we really wanted to try as we’re local. Staff are very friendly as is owner, some servers a little new to the game. Food is a serious disappointment and horrendously overpriced for what we received. Menu initially looked great, but food that arrived was so far from expectation. Their social media portray a totally different vibe! Firstly the food took an hour to come, in drips and drabs and most of it was cold. One of the starters (we had ordered to share) the spinach and artichoke dip- we had to return as it was inedible. Chicken wings not bad to be fair and probably the only thing I ate in the end. The mains came out at different times, which isn’t great when you have kids waiting. Caesar salad was covered in chickpeas, and on a tiny plate that was piled high so was really hard to eat. The burger was very overcooked. The children’s chicken goujons were very spicy and they couldn’t eat them which is such a silly oversight. The pizza pin wheels were just like uncooked dough. Waitress was lovely and really did all she could to help and remedy it all for us. Really hoping it’s simply teething problems, we will try it again and be back in a few weeks maybe, but the kitchen / chef needs serious work - on the menu, food execution and quality of food. Simpler the better!

24/07/2026: If you like being deafened on a Thursday this could be your thing. You could join the other six people. For me, 30 dB lower would make for a much more pleasant experience.

12/09/2026: This place is Top Class. We've had about 10 takeaways from here in the last couple of months and it's the EXACT same every time - absolutely lovely. We always get meal deal 3 which is hard to finish for two hungry people. The pizzas are amazing. We get ham pepperoni and chicken on ours and the ham is unreal I've never tasted anything like it - I think it's Italian. They've added a few new pasta dishes so we're gonna sample them in the next week or two. Highly Recommend!

22/08/2026: Disappointing Experience Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The food quality was below expectations, the service was poor, and the overall experience was not worth the money we paid. The staff were not very attentive, and we had to wait longer than expected. I expected much better service and food quality based on the restaurant’s reputation. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both the food and customer service. Sadly, I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. And waiter given us only south Indian menu even there is another north Indian menu. Finally the payment aeked pay by revolut..

26/08/2026: Maxol Ballycoolin is a very good service station that’s especially handy if you want a fresh roll, coffee, Burg- Burger King, or just a convenient stop. The roll I had was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. So I’d rate food 5 out of 5 for freshness, about4 and a half for choice. Facilities5 out of 5, and overall,4 and a half out of 5. If you’re in Ballycoolin, looking for a roll or a coffee, I’d give it a try.

20/06/2026: Ordered a bacon cheese burger. Gentleman asked which toppings - did that. Food arrived swiftly - no bacon. Two of my friends are students. One got the student bacon cheese burger deal (again no bacon). The second ordered the same - got charged full price. Not worth it. Been to many a WOW Burger - this has to be the most underperforming. For context it wasn’t busy, arguably empty.
