16/06/2026: Popped into Mimi’s Friday evening and decided to share a few of the small plates. The Argentinian prawns were the standout for me! Omg ! full of flavour with garlic, chilli and a rich tomato butter that was perfect for mopping up. The bruschetta was fresh and light, with creamy whipped ricotta and beautifully marinated tomatoes, while the fried calamari was crisp, tender and paired perfectly with the roast garlic aioli. To wash it all down, we tried a couple of cocktails, including the Reposado Spicy Margarita and a Paloma, both of which were excellent and expertly made. 🍸 Great food, lovely atmosphere and, as always, genuinely friendly staff. A perfect spot for a few bites and drinks with friends.

01/02/2026: Visited this place for the first time and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is amazing—warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. The service was excellent, and to top it off, the owner himself is incredibly polite and gentle. Definitely a spot I’d love to visit again!

01/02/2026: I went yesterday with friends to this place, and I really regretted it. First, each person—even non-shisha smokers—must pay €10, which does not include a drink or food- for nothing. On top of that, you still have to stay only 1.5 hour, and you must pay at least €22 more if you want to stay longer. When we ordered shisha, it took almost 30 minutes to be prepared, and it didn’t taste very good. Hot drinks took nearly 40 minutes to arrive, and there was only one friendly, poor waitress working. It wasn’t a great experience.

25/11/2025: Amazing Pizza & Even Better People! Ihad an outstanding experience at this pizza place! The moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. They were incredibly attentive, helpful with recommendations, and made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. The pizza itself was phenomenal—fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and flavors that prove they truly care about what they serve. You can tell the team takes pride in their work, from the kitchen to the front counter. It’s rare to find a spot where great food and great service come together so perfectly. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍕✨

09/07/2026: The service was excellent, and the young man who served us was incredibly friendly. However, several items on the menu were unavailable, which was a bit disappointing. The restaurant was also extremely hot. Considering it was summer and the place has air conditioning, it should have been much cooler and more comfortable. We finished our meal and left because it was too hot to stay inside the restaurant any longer.

18/05/2026: We wanted a simple dinner and just had some delicious pasta here. The whole-wheat pasta with tomato sauce and cherry tomatoes was fantastic. The pasta with pesto, Parmesan, and tomatoes was just as good. The portion sizes were also perfect for the price. Very friendly service. A few colorful cushions on the chairs and benches would really complete the otherwise charming place. We'll definitely be back.

10/06/2026: I absolutely loved this place, the most unique I've ever visited in Dublin! I walked past it several times during my last stay, almost not noticing, but it was a real surprise. Dinner required a reservation at least a day in advance through the website (I'd tried to get in the night before, but it wasn't possible without a reservation), but it was totally worth it. We ordered a fillet steak and half a roast chicken, all accompanied by sides and fries, and everything was delicious! The place also has a unique atmosphere and several truly unique rooms and corners, making dinner here an experience in every way. This will definitely be a restaurant I'll return to!

25/01/2026: Permanently closed but website and sign still lit up. Has been absorbed by the Celt, none of their decor or menu items survived.

01/08/2025: Disappointed with my order from Bell Pepper, Kimmage I work as a delivery driver, so I know how to handle food properly to avoid leaks or spills. This time, I ordered for myself via pick-up — a soup and a spice bag. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When I got home I saw that the soup was already leaking underneath, I did put it in the termal bag with support, to do not leak but still, and it didn’t taste good at all. The spice bag was shockingly small for the price, and most of the potatoes inside were undercooked and few pieces of chicken. On top of that, it was extremely spicy — far beyond what I’ve experienced before. I’ve had plenty of spice bags from other places and they’ve been amazing, but this was the first time I ordered from Bell Pepper in Kimmage, and sadly, it will also be the last. Very disappointed. I would not recommend.

18/07/2025: Ordered a thai green curry and jasmine rice for delivery, food came well before the estimated delivery time, was piping hot and most importantly tasted delicious, excellent job, would highly recommend this place 😋

23/08/2025: We were there last Friday. Waitress was not customer friendly 2/10 I got tea with sour milk , a colleague got the smallest portion of risotto you could serve Rip off and terrible services. Unlikely to go back and we were regular.

03/07/2026: Stopped for lunch today, great food, friendly staff but only one table to sit down and eat so plan ahead.

01/01/2026: Great expresso coffee. Appreciated the fairness of the price of a single shot expresso. Its was perfect served in a porcelan cup and very good quality. The croissants where very good, fresh and crunchy. The ambiance is relaxed and cosy and enjoyed the decor with paintings on the wall and a map of the Suppliers in an outstanding frame. It has our reccomendation. Well done to the owners and Er Buchetto team.

01/01/2026: I used to go here regularly after work or sometimes with my friend on a Saturday afternoon when I lived nearby. I always had the toasted panino with roasted aubergine, roasted pepper, melted mozzarella and pesto, my dream food. If I had only one meal in life I think I’d seriously consider this. The coffee was top class. I’m the hardest person to please when it comes to coffee so this is saying something. The lady who owns the caffe I remember was such a hard working lady, so passionate and down to earth. I’m going to make the trip this week to pop in. I can’t wait. Great to see small local cafe’s come out tops 👍

08/10/2025: Food always consistently good, staff demeanour depends on their mood. Coffee however is a roll of the dice (amazing if you get one certain barista), undrinkable bubbly muck (anybody else).

07/10/2025: sadly the day i've visited the café they couldn't serve food other than their bakery items. i didn't like the banana bread, it was too soggy and stapled dirty dishes were at every table inside. needless to say, it smelled very badly in the outside sitting area.

11/03/2026: Lovely food, batter sausage was freshly went as I walked in when the shutters were nearly at the top so it was just open and the chips are also tasty, would recommend, staff are also friendly.
