28/08/2025: Amazing place for social meetings, drinks and food. Had the steak which was cooked to perfection and the chips are outstanding. Definitely worth a visit, or several 😊

20/06/2025: AVOID. Placed an order for a pizza and chicken wings at 19:55. Waited outside for 45 minutes for the food!!! Went inside numerous times to ask if it’s ready, staff kept telling me that it’ll be another minute. Turns out the food was just in a pizza bag all this time. Disappointed as the food we received was cold. Do not recommend.

06/05/2025: Visiting Ireland for the first time! I walked here from my hotel and happy with my choice! I was a little unsure how the pizza here would taste but honestly it was really good! There was something about the sweetness in the sauce that was delicious! I got a 9.5” cheese pizza and it was just enough! I would have given it a 5 star review but am giving it a 4 because really, the red head woman working at the counter was very unpleasant, to where I’d be ok saying rude. Everyone I’ve met out here has been so nice but she just wasn’t :/ GREAT pizza though and the price was also a plus! Only $11 in thought was reasonable!

23/07/2025: Really nice place! Servers are very nice, and it's set inside a beautiful building. The food is delicious. I'm from the southern United States, and some of the food tasted very similar to how my mama makes it. We had the french toast and the full irish breakfast - they were both amazing. Very well cooked and nicely seasoned, and quite reasonably priced! Flat white coffees were prepared perfectly as well.

20/05/2025: Unpleasant experience. The open buffet system for €13.50 per person for 40 minutes sounds attractive at first glance, but the reality was different. The staff seemed unfriendly and watched guests critically while they ate. Despite the open buffet system, the amount of food was rather small, especially the meat dishes, which consisted mainly of bones and fat. The atmosphere was unpleasant, and the value for money was not right. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant.

23/08/2025: A pub which is great for GAA games or Ireland football matches. If that's your thing. Very casual. Hasn't changed in decades. Crooners and wedding style cover bands are the norm on specific nights. Tuesday is pensioners night, where the retired community dance and sing to all the old classics. Which is wonderful to witness. It's a space for the working classes to drink and dance away their troubles and fall out the door, into Macaris for a batter-burger and curry-chips afterwards. It's a place to go if you don't fancy dressing up. Suburbia personified, but everyone leaves with a smile, with mascara running down their face and it takes 20 minutes to pile them into a taxi. It's a place to go if you want to talk, after a relationship break up or take your bit on the side. That's the Lounge. There is a separate Bar, which is a small space for old men to drink in peace and watch sports on the telly, who turn around every time someone walks in the door. Friendly and attentive staff.

21/08/2025: Great pub with live bands most nights of the week. They can do food platters for special occasions. Taxi rank 1 minute away and local chipper 1 minute away. Bus stops close by.

21/07/2025: Had the set near now 78 gone up a lot. Portions much smaller and service was very slow. The delivery drivers came in past is all night to collect the deliveries. It was like O Connell Street men passing by our table and door opening and closing behind us. I think you need to put the restaurant first and let the deliveries wait a bit longer. I still love your food but sadly there was no doggy bag on Saturday which really reflects the Portion. But I still love your food but will sit in the corner the next night. Away from your delivery drivers. Maybe they could collect the food in the reception area.

13/07/2025: First time here in a very long time and food was great but mostly for me it’s the staff and Lawrence is the most friendly his smile lit up the restaurant

03/09/2025: I ordered masala dosa . Yummy finger licking delicious. Too be honest I was feeling shy to lick my fingers and plate😜raveena is a gorgeous lovely lady with elegance in her ways and kindness in her habits — her dosa was as delightful as her presence."Happy to come next time.

01/09/2025: The masala dosa was excellent, while the chicken fried rice was decent. Our hostess, Namrata, was extremely warm, patient and kind. She made our overall dining experience even better. We will definitely come back for more!

23/02/2025: Didn't try the food but the vanilla matcha latte and caramel macchiato were both excellent. Lovely book swap corner there too

01/06/2025: The place is beautiful and has a nice atmosphere, but when it comes to the bagel, being what gives the name to the place, I had high hopes that were not met. I had the Kind Vegetarian and although the vegetables were okay and the hummus seemed handmade, the bread was dry and bland, seemed to be from the supermarket but bought a few days ago, and the presentation wasn't very appealing. I think that if they improve the bread, the outcome would be acceptable enough.

15/03/2025: Super bagel today. I had the club and was so delicious, so fresh and tasty. I wish I could give more than 5 star. Will be back again .

07/08/2025: Me, my Wife and my Daughter have been to Kay's in Blanch and it was lovely experience. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fantastic, the price was fair and the service was friendly. And it was good to see that they have an inclusive policy on hiring their staff 👏👏👏 It's highly recommend!!!

14/05/2025: Around €11 for bagel and pot of tea..not great value considering that O'Briens only allows you to order 3 initial toppings and then charges extra for additional toppings. That being said, the bagel and tea were nice. Service was pretty quick and the cafe I was in was very bright and clean so all in all, it was fine.

06/04/2025: Teníamos 12 personas hambrientas, y nos alegramos mucho de encontrar este lugar! Todos pudieron encontrar un delicioso sándwich, que venía con papas fritas. Había opciones sin gluten y la comida era genial. El precio era correcto y el servicio tan rápido!

18/07/2025: It's always a wonderful feeling when you're treated warmly in a new place. I recently experienced this at a local establishment, even though I wasn't a regular. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and included, which made the whole experience truly memorable. The staff and other patrons were so friendly and made me feel like I belonged there. I really appreciated their hospitality. Well done ollies staff and dart teams.

11/05/2025: We had a very disappointing experience at Ollie's Bar. We went with our baby, who started crying at one point—as any small child naturally might. Instead of showing any understanding or empathy, the staff asked us to leave, as if having a baby was inappropriate or unwelcome by default. We understand that bars may not always be family-oriented spaces, but the way we were treated was unprofessional and completely insensitive. We felt judged and rejected for something entirely normal. It wasn’t just about being asked to leave—it was the total lack of basic humanity and compassion toward parents simply trying to enjoy a social moment responsibly. We absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone with children or anyone expecting to be treated with basic respect.

06/09/2025: Dreadful service. 3rd time in a row that order made on Domino’s app not available in store. Staff clueless and unhelpful. Last time I’ll be using, competitors offer way better quality product and service

18/08/2025: Ordered 2 hours ago. Nothing has arrived. And now im on hold the last 10 minutes. Absolute joke Update:3 hours now. Still not here. Told to contact uber eats even tho dominos use their own delivery drivers. And told me nothing about my order

08/07/2025: Came here for a bite and had the fish and chips. They were nice. I’ve had it cheaper and I’ve had it more expensive as well. I would say check the menu beforehand. This is priced higher as a restaurant, not as a chippy. Pros and cons to that of course. As long as you know what you’re looking for ahead of time, you’re grand. I shared the photo and price to by friend in Wicklow working in Dublin l, he wasn’t keen on the price for a small amount of food. Surely we can throw on a few more chips for these costs.
