The best restaurants in Dublin

15/10/2025: Food in here has become terrible ever since these new owners took over This place. Cleaboy chipper was one of the best chippers in the town by a mile. But ever since these new owners came the food has gone massively downhill especially in the last year or so,Also the price of food in here is absolutely ridiculous for the food that gets served. I highly recommend not to go here as there is plenty of better chipper's in waterford city.

20/09/2025: I only tried the chicken wrap, therefore I can only speak about that. It wasn't bad, but far from the best one I've had. The meat was a little bit too oily for my taste and didn't sit well in my belly. On the other hand, it's not expensive (atm), so that balances a bit. The service was fast, meaning that the staff is doing their best to serve every customer quickly enough. Overall, a good little spot for takeaway, if your expectations are not very high for the price.

26/07/2025: Great venue for a gig.. Wobblin Jude was the main artist. Exceeded expections.

21/07/2025: We came here for a wedding at the weekend and it was fab! The venue was lovely and a perfect size - felt intimate without being cramped. Food was tasty and staff were more than helpful in making last minute swaps for me. Alcohol free selection on the bar was great as well, the raspberry beer was so good!

18/01/2026: The staffs are using gloves and also using mobile phone during the time of cooking with same gloves that's not a good practice.

03/01/2026: Got a spice bag off of deliveroo and it was the worst spice bag I’ve ever had. The chips were soggy and chicken was very clearly from the freezer. We counted two pieces of pepper and onion in the whole bag and to top it off they gave me two spice bags. Coke was also gone off and flat in the tin. The curry sauce had separated in the container and tasted like O’Donnell’s cheap sauce from the supermarket. Something so simple could be done so much better :(

12/11/2025: Food was very yummy. It is refreshing to find vegeterian options where the tofu actually tastes like it was cooked with care. Price was also reasonable. Looking forward to ordering again in the future

05/12/2025: Staff were nice and friendly. Food was disappointing and overpriced. The ragu pasta was tasted like it was the 1e tesco pasta and tomato sauce. 2 stars because the staff were nice, otherwise just 1. chicken and chips were okay.

20/02/2026: Ate here a few times now and the food has been consistently good with generous portion sizes. It's a little pricey but so is everything else in the area! Warmly welcomed by the staff during our last visit - Zoe and Jae were especially friendly, some of the nicest service I've experienced in Dublin :)

20/02/2026: All you can eat Korean BBQ for €35? Say no more. The restaurant is upstairs - the bar is downstairs. I highly recommend showing up to begin your dinner by 6pm. The restaurant gets packed the later it gets, and the staff get busier and become less available to swap out grills. But the food! Holy cow (and pig and squid and shrimp) the food! They maintain a fresh and clean buffet of raw meats for you to select from - as well as vegetables, salad items, sauces and kimchis. The summon a staff button on the tables is convenient whenever you need another beverage or to swap out grill surfaces. The serve your own rice at the buffet is a nice option too because in other KBBQ experiences I usually find myself lacking rice by the time I get to the end of the meal. The dessert bar is also included... But we were all so full from the meats we couldn't even consider it 😂 Solid KBBQ experience in Dublin! Will be back to try their Korean Fried Chicken!

25/09/2025: The food is really good and looks and tastes freshly made. I usually go for the chicken curry and the chicken is nice and tender and doesn’t have that stale and hard feel to it. The portion is very generous and the staff is really friendly. I’ve been eating at Lean Bean one a week for over a year and their food is consistently good and is relatively affordable and healthy. I definitely recommend it!

26/08/2025: The coffee from here has gone downhill. All you can taste is warm milk. You cannot taste the coffee at all. We got an iced mocha and it had loads of chocolate grains at the bottom. Also got a cappuccino and it was bad. Ive given this place a few chances recently but I can't anymore.

25/10/2025: Excellent local supermarket with nearly everything one would need for a weekly shop. Obviously, physical size is the limiting factor so less commonly used items can be difficult or impossible to find. Staff are friendly and helpful. Adequate car park that usually suffices but occasionally gets overwhelmed. Has an array of 7kw chargers - unfortunately 2 or 3 are permanently out of order and reporting this to a manager (repeatedly) is usually met with shoulder shrugging but no action. Very frustrating. If the chargers were fixed, this store would be a 5* one.

14/09/2025: Every time I am here the staff are so rude. Today I thanked the til operator and said have a good day after he scanned all my items. He looked in the opposite direction, completely ignoring me. It’s not the first time this has happened either. I’m not usually one to post a negative review, but as someone who has worked in customer facing roles for years (so I understand how difficult it can be) I just have always found the customer service here to be appalling it’s so disheartening.

17/12/2025: It's a bit dull and boring waiting around for the food, most other chippers have a bit of craic , but the food is decent , chips are great

16/12/2025: All the remorse but sadly little of the joy from a bag of chips and onion rings. Nice staff and very clean and not expensive Probably got them at a bad time without the chip turnover so not as nice as fresh ones

17/07/2025: A great pint of Guinness, great value, and a lovely Dublin pub atmosphere. Plenty of racing and GAA on TV , couldn't ask for more.
