The best restaurants in Dublin

02/12/2024: One of the best places... I been trying a lot of Mexican restaurants in Dublin... I think that this is one of the best.. pork tacos are amazing and it's a plus that they even make the tortillas 😊

11/11/2024: My tacos were tasty, generously filled and really well made. I highly recommend them. Funnily enough, while I was trying to find the place, I overheard a stranger who was walking the other way tell her friend that “the place with the really good tacos is over there”. They weren’t wrong! Also, the bar you walk through to get to Fuppin Delish was lively, and the waiting staff were super attentive. So, you’ve got the whole package!

05/11/2024: The cutest cafe! They are always quick and efficient and really friendly and the coffee is good. It's a lovely place, just very small and better for take away.

09/01/2025: Very large pub/restaurant with wide range of food and drinks. Very good efficient staff who make every customer welcome. Guinness as good as it gets. Off the main tourist drag, so less crowded and commercial.

01/01/2025: The pub is very nice, with great music and atmosphere. However, the staff at the bar probably have the worst attitude I’ve ever seen in my life. Their behaviour is completely arrogant towards everyone. You almost have to beg them to sell you a drink, and they even refused to serve me one. Truly unbelievable.

23/10/2024: Went to Hillbillys yesterday 'Rathmines ' for the first time, ordered a dinner box for takeaway, the girl who took my order was very friendly and helpful when I asked her for particular pieces of chicken, I could see that the man doing the cooking was quick and efficient, the only way knock back was the gravy ,as a regular in older established chicken franchises, Hillbillys gravy was a disappointment, their gravy was much too thick and the taste did not reflect the wonderful taste of the chicken and flavoured coating, gravy has to be thick but it also has to be able to flow ,the consistency of this gravy was unfortunately like cement, the dinner box was excellent, staff were really pleasant, get the gravy right, consistency and more flavour and this place will be a winner, John

02/12/2024: Workers follow you around in every aisle and make you extremely uncomfortable… stay away from this shop. There are many better Asian markets In town.

25/09/2024: One of the larger Asian supermarkets in Dublin, and due to the Jervis Centre car park right opposite possibly the best if you plan to load your car with mainly Chinese, but also Thai, Filipino etc. ingredients. In-store fresh vegetables, fruit, butchers' counter, fish counter, and even a takeaway restaurant. Bit of a market feeling, and it can get a bit cramped at busy times. But generally helpful and friendly staff will help you if you need it. Prices are hit and miss, you get some stuff cheaper elsewhere, other goods are lower priced, my best guess is that at the end of the shopping you pay much the same as in other Asian supermarkets. Only let-down (but this is NOT the fault of Oriental Emporium) is the sometimes quite unsavoury crowd hanging about the LUAS stop right in front of the entrance.

16/12/2024: The atmosphere is surprisingly good, with a very nice seaview and very “luxury” feel decor. Dim sum are really authentic and you can find something rare to have outside, like Seafood Redrice Roll. The staff are very friendly and pro-active, with excellent services. You don’t have to worry about no one refilling the tea, or long waiting time for checking the bill.

03/12/2024: Our experience was partially spoiled by the manager/supervisor. There was no greeting, no smile. When I politely asked if it could be possible to sit at a specific table, I wasn’t even able to finish my sentence before she curtly replied, “No, this way,” in a cold tone. That aside, the food was decent, and the service was both quick and delightful! A special thanks to the waiter/waitress for their smiles and positive energy—qualities they could certainly share with their manager !

03/12/2024: Eddie Rockets has got a style & a menu all its own. Staff are attentive, order arrives swiftly. Couldn’t be more convenient & tasty. All good & satisfaction achieved.

11/10/2024: Absolutely perfect raspberry scone in a sweet little bakery with good music. Great cup of tea, as well.

13/12/2024: I waited 2 hours and never received my pizza. Out of these 2 hours, I spent 25 minutes waiting outside after being told the delivery person was “nearby.” When I asked for details, like the color of her car, she suddenly claimed she was on foot—very strange. This whole experience was a waste of time. Avoid ordering delivery from this place if you value your time. I can’t comment on the pizza’s taste because I never got to try it.

29/10/2024: Hi there I went to fried up pizza last week for the first time to try there Neapolitan style wood fire pizza in ratfarnham it's just a wooding hut ordered the 9.5in pizza I got half margarita and half spicy nudja the spicy nudja was good and the sauce was good on the pizza,but cold not hot,my score 7/10........ Value for money a bit Pricey€12.50 would I go again No,I think your paying more for the package & there fancy menu not the pizza its self.

17/10/2024: A good burger 🍔 point. They have 2 vegetarian burgers 🍔. Veggie royal and vegetarian wopper. I liked the vegetarian wopper a lot. Also their onion rings are good. In 4 euro they give a large onion ring and also their coffees ☕️ are decent. They Have good seating 💺 capacity and also nice sides dishes. Order was served quickly 😀

19/12/2024: Top notch chipper very fresh well cooked tru chips and batter burger.

18/12/2024: The staff are absolutely amazing, so kind and friendly and the food is top notch 👌 😋

22/12/2024: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! A group of foul smelling junkies were going around inside robbing jackets/bags. Woman pretended to be drunk and needed our help and robbed us secretly with her friends. Thankfully we realised what happened before they could get away and after calling the bouncer over and getting him to check the ID in purse he took our things off of them. HOWEVER, seems like an inside job and the bouncers are in on it! The group were let stay inside and bouncers brushed us off. One woman holding 10+ coats and looking around for more. Horrific bouncers and one even gave out to us saying that we got our bag back so stop complaining about them. Manager should look into the staff ASAP and needs stricter security. We were scared to leave as the group faced no consequences and looked very rough. None of us will ever be returning and we will be warning everyone we know. Cannot stress enough to you do not go there. On top of this, the average age inside was about 16 years old and had the atmosphere of a teenage disco.

17/12/2024: The only thing, in the basement the pints weren't fresh, but upstairs the atmosphere was good.

17/12/2024: I used to like this place, the last two times I visited there I found the pastries were not fresh, today I bought a Chai Latte and it seems they ran out of it because it tasted like warm milk, I was on hurry that’s why I couldn’t let them know, hope they make some changes.

17/12/2024: Really only drops a star because the seating is outside. BUT...3FE coffee is outstanding, the service is fast and friendly, and the cakes are great!

20/12/2024: Great food and gave us extra food on the house. Would recommend.
