13/04/2025: Ratio of batter to chicken in chicken balls was 10:1. Curry sauce nice but very salty. Solid but not great.
06/04/2025: Having lived the locality for a number of years now, I have tended to avoid / disregard this outlet of asian cuisine, following an initial unsatisfactory experience.
But I decided to return this evening to give another chance, as it came recommended by revered food critic, R.H. Smyth.
Smyth has refined his pallet through years of asian dining in places like Walkinstown, Crumlin, Terenure, Templeogue, Tallaght and further a field.
I must admit I was pleasantly surprised and will now add Lok Moon back into regular rotation.
In the words of another great food critic...

09/03/2025: The food is really, the garlic bread, milkshake and fish is to die for.
The portion of chips could be a bit bigger, but it's definitely quality over quantity, and they give you quality.
01/03/2025: We have ordered fish and chips and doner kebabs takeaway recently.
The doner kebabs was OK but the cod was not good.
It is kind of salty as if it is marinated in salt water for a long time so it was quite salt and the texture was strange.
To be honest, I am not it it cod.
The chips was on the soggy side - fixed by putting them into the airfryer.
Overall, the fish and chips was at two stars standard and doner kebabs brought it back up to three stars.

30/03/2025: Small space with great interest where food and music are the stars.
Cool atmosphere to enjoy a Guinness with a wide ranch of lunch menus (chicken &saladas, traditional irish specials either from the sea or from the grill)
My option was from the flour free menus, the Old Mill Classic Caesar Salad, what a delicious cliché! ;)
30/03/2025: Ondanks een reservering om 20:00 uur stond er een lange rij met wachtenden, allemaal met reservering. Personeel gaf aan dat het normaal is dat je pas 1,5 uur na je reservering kunt zitten. Slechte organisatie en misleidend. Gelukkig bij het restaurant ernaast wél goed gegeten!

24/11/2024: Not sure what happened with this spot.
Some years back it used to be great coffee and good pastries. Then they changed to cheap coffee over covid and the quality never improved again, although with the shift towards bakery it was still a good spot, with subpar coffee but great pastries.
Every now and then that nostalgia will bring me back but today I paid a fortune for a carrot & rocket sandwich in stale bread to a cashier that didn't really want us there.
I hope whatever the new location is will bring back the old standards.
17/11/2024: My go to place for pastries - cinnamon bun, coffee walnut bun, almond croissant, the cookies… I’ve had them here many times and was never disappointed.

13/03/2025: La decoración es auténtica, el estado de ánimo es relajado y amable, la camarera era fantástica y muy atenta al igual que el tierno bar. La comida era absolutamente fantástico y sin duda volveremos pronto!
21/02/2025: Nos alojamos en un hotel al otro lado de la carretera y este restaurante fue recomendado por el personal de recepción. No teníamos reserva, pero nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y nos pareció la decoración encantadora y atmosférica. Pedimos tres platos principales y encontramos que el tamaño de las porciones era el correcto. Sabroso plato de pollo chispeante fue el ganador, aunque el marido encontró el pollo agridulce menos dulce de lo normal para su gusto. Un encantador par de miembros del personal estaban trabajando duro. Muy recomendable y volveremos.

02/01/2025: Great service. They fit us in last minute on New Years Eve. The food, wine & service was super. Family friendly, lots of families dining early evening, in all group sizes. There's an outdoor terrace where we were able to see the fireworks. Ice cream with cold coffee on top, chicken wings & ricotta cannenoli were my favourite dishes. It was good value also.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming!
The food was very tasty with a great choice.
The food is mainly Italian. It is varied and extremely well presented.
Highly recommended!

05/04/2025: Tryed to call in today at 3.40 kind girl was getting us menus and then batista said they close at 4 sorry but Google sas 5pm and writing on the door says 5pm. Fair enough if they want to get out early but very rude!
16/02/2025: Thanks a lot to Cillian, Sam, Amy and Megan, who have been extremely nice to us and offered a great service.
Although another day we came in the afternoon and the service was not that nice to us, today these 4 guys have been great., and have improved our experience here.

02/04/2025: I am very impressed with this place! I ordered on Uber Eats and actually received my food in 13 minutes. Now I do live nearby, but still, 13 mins is exceptional.
I ordered a small mega box and they got it perfect. Crispy chips, lovely chicken and everything else, with just the right amount of spice and onions.
If they keep serving food like this then I could easily see this becoming my new local Chinese takeaway.

07/04/2025: Very uncomfortable room, air conditioning was non existent. Staff are very young and obviously lacking necessary experience in how to interact with customers. Food is also not up to standard either. Very disappointing
06/04/2025: So far has been a good stay. We've been having a little snafu with the A/C but they've been doing their best to remedy our issues. It's well styled for a good stay and in a great locale in central Dublin.
