The best restaurants in Dublin

22/11/2024: Always has really delicious food- It tastes like Hoi Won from the golden days but without the ridiculous prices. Lovely stuff here for reasonable prices. In a sketchy area especially at night but thats not the restaurants fault and the taste of the curry is worth it

16/12/2024: Oh dear. Bad. Staff were lovely, so no bad vibes their way...but completely run off their feet. Drink order arrived at different intervals, as much as 15 minutes apart. Asked three times for final drink to come. No starters ordered and mains arrived a full hour plus spare change after ordering. That's just too long! Three of four ordered the roast beef. Meat was very nice. That's the end of the good. Potatoes were cold. Not kinda-warm. Just cold. Yorkshire pudding was cold and soggy. Cabbage side was cold. Gravy was watery. Ordered an additional portion of potatoes, also cold. Saw on the way out they just have them sitting on a tray, so had obviously been cooked for some time €160 plus tip for 6 slices of roast beef, some cold vegetable sides, a burger and chips and a round of drinks ain't it. Better roast dinner in many simple pubs. Such a let down. I know many people have had good experiences here, so I'm sure it's not always like this. Our meal felt like a robbery... To end on a positive, the room is nice!

13/12/2024: No service, got the only desert that didn't state it didn't have peanuts in on the menu and it had peanuts... ruined my night completely

02/01/2025: Love this place. Best Vegan food I've ever had in a pub and it has the largest options I've ever seen. Will definitely be back again. Had the plant based botanic burger and it was delish.

07/12/2024: We had an issue, and they resolved it in the best possible way. The management and staff were really helpful. We often order from Apache, and the pizzas are always very good.

28/11/2024: Rang up to reserve a table 30 minutes before arrival, which the restaurant confirmed. Arrived on time and had to wait for a further 30 minutes for a table. While waiting we were told it would only be a few more minutes a couple of times and offered some drinks. Food was okay but not worth the wait. They need to be more clear on waiting times so people do not get their expectations up and can go elsewhere. Also shouldn’t be taking reservations if they cannot guarantee a table

27/11/2024: Very crowded small restaurant that looks like a tourist trap but don’t be fooled Service was great and the food wonderful . A very pleasant surprise my first dinner in Dublin. The staff are amazing and extremely kind especially considering how busy this place was on a Wednesday evening. Good portions and well prepared and presented food The Bailey’s Cheesecake came highly recommended by my waitress and she wasn’t kidding

06/01/2025: Awful service before Xmas. Left to wait on ordering while staff were too busy chatting to their mates on the next table. Never given the Xmas menu either that others ordered off. When the food finally arrived, I had to ask for the cutlery. Reluctantly returned today, and after presenting a squid voucher, I'm told its only for takeaways. Nowhere do you have this advertised! Never to return! Plenty of better service providers around.

04/12/2024: Food was extremely poor, coffee didn’t taste great at all, brownies were just a block of fudge. Wouldn’t really recommend!

19/12/2024: I was here with my sister recently. We ordered our food together. We got one lot of food and noticed that other people who ordered got served their meal before the rest of our order came out. We had to ask for the food. Since it has been taken over, the service has dropped.

19/10/2024: We had the best full Irish we've had in years. Lovely clean spot with friendly staff. Couldn't say anything but good The hasbrowns and pudding were exceptional.

20/12/2024: Walked here to find out they didn’t bother opening. Customer service means updating your opening hours rather than wasting their time

19/12/2024: Walked past a couple of times on our short break and made a point of stopping off for a late lunch - really recommend. 2x bowls (Christmas & Cashew Chicken) and a portion of bombay potatoes really set us up for a day of walking (13+ miles!) The initial queue seemed big but moves fast, service was prompt and reflects how they get through the quantity of people. However, perfectly friendly and helpful. Got a table outside and enjoyed a lovely, fresh lunch

10/01/2025: We had some tapas and some red wine. All very beautiful and delicately flavoured. I would recommend if you would like a light bite......but with freshness and flavour...

01/01/2025: Friendly locals are sociable to chat with. Bar staff is punctual and attentive to customers' requests. A listening ear of the bar staff goes a long way when ordering at the bar, with prompt service. Can find a cosy, comfortable seat, and relax and also socialise with customers ad hoc. I highly recommend O' Reillys bar, I loved the sociable atmosphere and clientele!

27/10/2024: Clean store atmosphere. The hall is wide, so there is plenty of space to sit, which is nice👍🏻 The staff are all very friendly hahaha. The oat latte was so savory and delicious! Thanks Klya😉
