Thomas Clarke's
Dublin
18/08/2025: Great atmosphere yesterday in there for Oasis, real pity about the older gentleman working behind the bar. Ive never seen someone as rude behind a bar, was there all afternoon and watched him have a go at 2 or 3 people for nothing, called one customer a gobshite. I couldnt believe it, he has to own the place for the way he carried on. Crazy, no way an employee would have been let carry on the way he did.
13/08/2025: A great bar. Didn't have the food but it looked lovely.
Pub and toilets are spotless. Bar staff attentive and engaging.

India Link
Dublin
08/02/2026: I bought chicken tikka masala, chicken kadai tikka, lamb rogan josh it was absolutely delicious, the chef and staff is very friendly as well.
08/02/2026: Loved my meal at India Link Beaumont!
The chana masala was cozy, flavorful, and just really comforting, with tender chickpeas and great spices in every bite. The chicken tikka masala was amazing — the chicken was juicy and smoky, and the sauce was creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced.
Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and you can tell it’s made with care. Such a great spot when you’re craving good Indian food. Can’t wait to come back!

Eddie Rocket's
Dublin
29/11/2025: A retro roadhouse feel restaurant. The food was tasty and I'll come back to try some other dishes.
27/11/2025: Always a varying experience here. Sometimes staff are amazing, next time they are quite rude. They never come over to ask about desserts and are very slow to clear the table. One thing that remains consistent is the food which I suppose is the most important part.

Vincenzo's Takeaway
Dublin
13/11/2025: Best takeaway in the world. They have lovely chips and curry sauce. The staff are lovely . I ❤️ Vincenzo’s Thomas street.
26/10/2025: Put ketchup on my kebab tray meal, denied it, told me I hadn't specified no sauce (tried to tell me it was chilli sauce, 3 friends confirmed it was ketchup), I had ticked "garlic sauce" and would not have minded chilli sauce but who puts ketchup in MULTIPLE layers in a kebab tray!!! My fault for ordering a kebab from here. Very rude staff.

Caffè Nero
Dublin
05/09/2025: Good bar as all the caffè nero but I like other locations more.
07/07/2025: Caffè Nero's website shows they are open to 6pm. On the door, it says they are open till 5.30pm. I am now standing in front of the door at 4.30pm - the door is locked, the lights are off and there is absolutely no sign of life inside. What is the point of misleading customers in this way?

Burger King
Dublin
04/03/2026: They don't use gloves to make your food. Touch everything around them and then touch your food without washing their hands.
02/03/2026: Typical Burger King experience food was ok not great , I would avoid here late on a weekend as it gets packed with drunks, also the toilet was pretty nasty and quite dinghy. Reminds me of a city centre public toilet.

Tea Garden
Dublin
04/01/2026: I come here about once a month with a group of friends, and it's generally a great time. The tea selection is fantastic, and I've yet to have a bad one. The desserts are also really nice, and the atmosphere is cozy.
27/12/2025: My second trip to this very special oasis of calm and serenity on the north bank of the river Liffey ("Anna Livia Plurabelle" herself) and it improved my day no end.
Hostess Sandra seated me (most comfortably) and then returned to take my order: No. 44 on the menu, a remarkable Slovakian tea with honey and lemon, which I noticed is prescribed for cold and flu' (neither of which I happen to have).
Noticbly calmer, plus with a spring in my step and an friendly "Hello" for everyone who crossed my path, I emerged back into the world a better man (much enriched by my experience in The Tea Garden...).
NB.: Prepare to forget about time itself once you step into this establishment. Also, cash ONLY!

Al Khair
Dublin
05/02/2026: Been here a couple of times after prayer at Dublin Mosque 🤲 and usually grab takeaway — always good.
But today we dined in with friends 👯♂️🍽️ and it hit different 😋.
Tried the nihari, haleem and chicken tikka wrap 🌯🍛 — all super good and honestly took me straight back to a proper desi home 🏡🇵🇰🇮🇳.
Finished it off with chai ☕✨ — perfect ending.
And when your plate is completely wiped clean… you already know how good it was 😄🍽️🔥
15/12/2025: Fantastic little spot. Very welcoming, food was phenomenal and the service exceptional. What a gem.

The Hot Donut
Dublin
27/02/2025: I got a donut and coffee before a bus tour leaving nearby. I appreciate that the shop is open at 0630 even on a Sunday. The donut was fresh and the coffee was delicious. I went back a couple of times during my week.
05/02/2025: Bonitos dulces en las ventanas, no puedes resistirte a todo.
Tantos donuts, que no es fácil elegir, todos son tentadores.

Irish Film Institute
Dublin
01/08/2025: Lovely staff last week. Two very friendly blond people male and female on reception
Cleaning needed though.
20/07/2025: The documentary on Mairéad Farrell was both sad and poignant. She was a pretty and intelligent girl who ventured down the wrong path, since violence will never resolve any issue. Mairéad should have been united with the late John Hume's ideology, dedicated to peace. If not, she should have moved from Belfast to Dublin. This is an old conflict that I hope will be resolved.

Graces Garden
Dublin
22/11/2025: Just an update in Nov 25. The food is better than ever. Just had one of the best hot and sour soups, packed with meat and prawns and deliciously spicy. The spice bag had delicious and large chicken pieces with very good chips. Breast of Chicken curry, fried rice and spare ribs all very good. Top class.
Very tasty, authentic and consistent Chinese restaurant. Excellent for take away, top marks from me.
09/11/2025: delivery time needs to be set up earlier, we orderd at 4:55 as soon as they open it, all we got was chicken balls chips and 3 in 1 the food didnt arrive until 6:25, when we called at 6:05 the lady said its on the road and wont be long, we then called at 6:18, the lady once again said its on the way, lo and behold it did not arrive until 6:25. Either hire more drivers or open the times earlier

The Port House Cava
Dublin
26/12/2025: We arrived at The Port House Cava for our booking at 1pm Christmas Eve. The restaurant was empty except for one table. All the other tables were vacant. The server greeted us and immediately warned us he needed the table back at 3pm. That’s fine. We sat. We waited. The same server was down the back chatting with the kitchen over the pass. We waited a little longer, still no drinks order was coming. I decided to draw some attention to our table by going up to the empty bar. The only occupied table gave me a glance that I read as a comment on the hopeless service as they tried to get the same servers attention. He was still chatting at the pass while the only two tables were both waiting for some attention. Up to the bar he saunters, I ask if we can order some prosecco. We only have Cava he says “they are the same thing”. No there not I reply, but ok let’s have a bottle of cava and if you don’t mind 6 glasses for our table. Back at our table he produces a wine list which would have been handy when we were seated. The cava arrives. It’s barely chilled. I say nothing. Again the same server reminds us that he needs the table back at 3pm. My blood is boiling at this stage as my family as I are made feel like we are an obstruction of sorts. The food arrives and it’s delicious. Well presented. Well cooked and a delight. The first bottle of cava is empty. I’d like to order another but the server is back down at the pass chatting again. To command he attention, again I get up and venture to the bar. Another server has started his shift just before 2pm. He’s more attentive. We order another cava and a bottle of rosé. 2.40pm and the 2nd server starts clearing our table. 2.50pm and they are hovering around our table to let us know it’s almost time to go. The restaurant is still empty except for one other 3top table. The bill arrives and I settle at the bar leaving half the tip I normally would. I ask the server why the hard push on getting the table back while the restaurant is empty. He has no answer. Which points me toward the owner or manager who I know will read this review. So, dear sir or madam, your pockets would be better lined if you spent as much time on encouraging your staff to deliver a good experience rather than a punctual one. You’re employing bus boys, not servers. We’re paying for the experience of which the food is only part. The atmosphere was dead just like the bookings. What’s the different between The Port House Cava and Tapas Del Lola? The staff. The staff. The staff. You’re doing Camden Street no favours with this diabolical customer service. I strongly suggest you consider adding some charm somewhere because you’re just not at the level of some of your good neighbours.
23/12/2025: Amazing place. Prices too high.
