18/04/2026: Absolutely loved my time at The Red Stables Market! The atmosphere is incredible, and the food lived up to the hype. The service was top-notch—everyone was so welcoming. It’s a fantastic spot for a weekend outing, and at €10-20 per person, it’s great value for the quality. Highly recommend!

15/08/2026: The facility, at least initially, appeared modern, welcoming, and well-organized. However, during our stay, my companions and I encountered numerous issues that made the experience less than satisfying. From the very first day, we noticed several anomalies: one girl's curtain fell on her during the first evening; some door handles came loose easily, the walls were damaged, and the bedside tables were unstable. Furthermore, the rooms were excessively small, with the exception of the one designated for people with disabilities. The quality of the food and cleanliness also left much to be desired. In particular, the radiator came loose from the wall, and when using the shower, water leaked out, flooding the bathroom, rendering it unusable for several days. In some cases, a stable was even cleaner than other areas of the facility. Furthermore, some rooms had been sealed off and made inaccessible, a clear sign of problems that needed addressing. In my opinion, it would be appropriate to significantly improve the quality of service, completely revise the menu, and pay greater attention to maintenance and cleanliness. It would also be desirable to entrust the kitchen management to qualified staff, ideally with experience in Italian cuisine, to offer better quality meals. I would, however, like to highlight one positive aspect: the staff was very kind, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay.

19/08/2026: Benedict was so so but waiter took my order wrong and brought me scrambled eggs instead then argued with me over what I ordered. Food was good but not great but the experience with the wait staff in this small space put me off. Mocha was good but nothing special. Other staff in the place were more agreeable than the one I was exposed to.

18/08/2026: A cozy setting with pleasant service. However, the dishes we chose were overpriced for what was actually on the plate (breakfast bap and scrambled eggs).

21/04/2026: Perfect spot for a little outdoor piddle party, wall is at a perfect angle, caught some lady glancing at me though, felt a little rude!

02/07/2026: Fried fish soaked in oil. Tried to eat some but made me vomit Pizza was weird, far too much semolina ! but I can’t forgive the fried fish. Very tiny prawns too The only good thing was the fries.

16/06/2026: Great atmosphere, really lovely staff. Very helpful and efficient. Was a little disappointed with the food. Was just expecting more flavour. Perhaps it was our menu choices as it was our first visit. I would visit again and try more dishes and my stars might change!

10/05/2026: We visited Mak specifically because they offered a coeliac menu. Right from the beginning, they had the coeliac menus ready for us on our table which we appreciated. We ordered the curry, wok fried greens and steamed rice. All were tasty, however we were slightly disappointed as the greens were definitely not wok fried. They tasted to be boiled or steamed and lacked the depth of flavour only achieved from frying in the wok. Although they were good, it tasted like healthy home cooked greens we would have made ourselves at home.

29/05/2026: Ordered a very strange tasting Thai green curry that made us feel a bit unwell. It was great when it was Ecoco but since it rebranded as scent it’s terrible .

30/03/2026: Absolutely amazing Chinese takeaway! The food is always fresh, hot, and packed with flavour. Their portions are generous, and you definitely get great value for money. The sweet and sour chicken is perfectly crispy, and the chow mein is full of rich, authentic taste. What really stands out is the consistency — every order is just as good as the last. The staff are friendly, service is quick, and everything is always ready on time. Whether you’re ordering for yourself or a group, they never disappoint. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality Chinese food that hits the spot every single time!

21/08/2026: We heard about this famous Chocholate cafe and stopped by a few locations. Minimal seating outside. But nice location. Would recommend visiting if your in Dublin.

17/07/2026: A lovely chocolate shop where you can enjoy a hot or cold drink and a pastry. A great bonus: a delicious chocolate of your choice is offered free of charge! Very pleasant welcome, friendly staff.

15/08/2026: Sweet suffering jesus. Do not go here. Genuinely the worst meal of my life. Duck rolls were cold in the middle, stone cold but I gave them a pass hoping the main course would be better. Turned out it was significantly worse. Fatty beef rolled in dried chilli. Blew the mouth off me. Asked if they could just wipe the dried chilli off. Somehow it came back worse. Then the ultimate annoyance, when we tried to leave having tipped (bizarrely Irish), the door handle had broken and needed a staff member to reattach in order to let customers leave. Absolutely awful.

31/07/2026: First time in Zi Qi, won't be my last. Proper authentic Chinese food, children had more irish style chinese dishes, adults went for more authentic chinese dishes and every dish was really really good. The staff were also fantastic, really friendly and helped us with the menu and helped recommend dishes. Will definitely be back. Just sorry I only just discovered the restaurant.

29/08/2026: We did a collection and it was delicious! I wish we lived closer as it was just a spontaneous visit while the car was charging up the road. We will definitely be back. The restaurant itself has outdoor seating and inside seems very nice and cosy. Their menu is vast so there will be something for everyone.

29/08/2026: Had a wonderful first visit and meal here today in Sandyford Ordered the chicken Bento food was delicious. Service was excellent. Really friendly staff. Definitely will return.

06/05/2026: Best pint of Guinness in Dalkey and very attentive and friendly staff! Great trad music sessions too ... For example Wednesdays from around 9pm. Fantastic selection of instruments, tunes and musicians. Buladh bos!

31/08/2026: Have had a takeaway from this place a few times and it never disappoints! Had another great one tonight, generous spice bags and the food always arrives hot!
