The best restaurants in Dublin

20/10/2024: Went here for tea and a muffin. I really enjoyed it. The staff were nice. The place is clean. It’s easy to find. Would go again.

20/10/2024: Without a doubt, definitely serving the best Guinness on the Northside of Dublin. Fast friendly service with quality always assured. Drop in, you won't be disappointed.

14/12/2024: Very Pathetic service.Ordered 2 curries to pick it up over the phone.Went there after the advised time by the staff.Food not ready.told me if I change to another dish,it will be Quick,1hr and still waiting...Never again!!!

06/12/2024: This is the Paneer Tikka Masala, the gravy was nothing but red chilli poured in, even when asked for less spicy. Tried even after warnings and had to get rid of it.

11/01/2025: Delicious food, generous portions, quick delivery, pleasant girl on the end of the phone. Couldn’t ask for more.

02/01/2025: Great food. There is often a variability in how spicy / hot the kids meals are which can sometimes cause issues. The countdown to pickup time on the app is unfortunately not reflective of the real pick up time.

01/01/2025: Good selection of cocktails however the ones we wanted were out of the homemade syrup so we had to try other cocktails on the menu. They were ok, nothing special. Atmosphere is really cool, great vibe and great service.

31/12/2024: Really nice spot, great terrace area but the cocktails for 14 euros should be much better quality. The espresso martini I ordered wasn't good. Too sugary, too thin, off balance. You get a proper one for the same price across the road.

25/09/2024: Accidentally eating at Oscar’s Cafe provided me with one of the best breakfasts I had on our trip to Ireland. I was doing the driving, so I asked my sweetheart and trusty navigator to find us a bakery so we could grab a coffee to go and a pastry for the road. I was hoping to find something before we got into Dublin, and the driving got “tricky” since I’m from the states. She assured me it was a doughnut place on the outskirts of Dublin and was only 20 minutes away. Well, in all its wisdom, Apple Maps routed us to the warehouse for a doughnut shop. Luckily Oscar’s was there too! We may not have been the usual clients at this cafe, serving what I would estimate to be 99% locals, but the staff was friendly, and helpful. The portions were generous, the food was good, and that latte might have saved my life. 10/10 Oscar’s, but I can only leave 5 stars. Thank you!

01/01/2025: The food is great but the delivery service is awful! I’ve given up on it and started collecting which isn’t sustainable so I’ll need to pick another pizza place unfortunately. Such a shame the delivery is letting them down so bad.

22/12/2024: Pizza like in Italy, my compliments!! The chips are also good but above all the garlic sauce made like home, you can feel the taste compared to many other places.

07/12/2024: We called ahead to get a last minute table with our baby and were surprised at how lovely and accommodating the staff were even though they were busy with Christmas parties bustling in. We had just been asked to leave Harry Byrnes, (we didn’t realise they no longer serve food and are over 21s) so the friendly welcome in out of the rain was so appreciated. The gentleman from Village Pizza had organised a table for us in the pub, with plenty of space for the pram and a high chair. We ordered two pizzas which were so delicious. There was a bit of a wait but I’m not surprised and they were well worth it. Best pizza we’ve had, really hit the spot. Perfectly cooked with a beautiful chewy crust. Cannot wait to go back. Thanks for a lovely experience

05/12/2024: Amazing pizza! The 10” is the perfect size for one person, so everyone can get something they like. They have awesome margarita and pepperoni pizza. It comes with a delicious sauce on the side. Highly recommend to locals and tourists 🍕

02/12/2024: Best kebab on the North side of Dublin nice friendly staff. Very fresh sald all the time go there good sauce to well worth it. I have been back it's it's still very good the place is always clean looking on like other place on the road. They all so do pizzas and falafel only thing is there is not good vegetarian Dish on the menu ever place should a forzzen falafel is not good enough maybe a vegetarian kebab I have had vegetarian kebab at ALT now festival and they where very nice and popular. The Prices are good here. there is only 4 or 5 seats in the place so it's more of a take away place. I will be back soon for my mix kebab whit lot's of all the sald and sauce one the side.

21/12/2024: This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. My friends brought a cake to celebrate my birthday, but the manager wouldn’t let us cut it at the table. When we tried to enjoy it privately, after ordering desert, she rushed over to take the cake away, and in the process, she spilled our bottle of red wine over me. She didn’t apologise and just proceeded to lecture us. When we brought up that she needed to apologise for spilling the wine she tried to blame us saying “she wouldn’t have been at the table at all if we hadn’t been eating the cake” and took absolutely no responsibility. Her attitude was rude and completely unprofessional. After ordering three courses and buying three bottles of wine, I’m not sure what the problem was. We didn’t get so much as a discount on the bottle of wine she spilled. Separately, they do not provide tap water and make you buy water at 5€ a bottle which is a bit of a disgrace in my opinion. Honestly it is no wonder the restaurant was empty 4 days before Christmas. Avoid at all costs!!!

21/11/2024: Very good food and very chilled out atmosphere. Staff are fantastic. Andra is amazing.
