The best restaurants in Dublin

09/12/2024: Staff always friendly and helpful

06/12/2024: We order from them quite regularly, since it's one of the few places nearby where we can find veg options, but will definitely stop after today. We're vegans, and it's really annoying to find pieces of chicken or who-knows-what in your veg rice or sauce. That's not the first time this happens, and we've always tried to brush over and overlook it. But it seems like they don't care about cross contamination so we're not taking the risk anymore.

28/12/2024: Fine chinese food. We took satay chicken which was well served but very greacy

25/12/2024: My wife and I had been passing by Zi Qi Chinese Restaurant for quite some time, and I had always been intrigued by it, mentioning repeatedly that I wanted to try it. This evening, on our way home, we saw the place was open. Despite preferring to dine at home, my wife graciously agreed to join me because she knew how much I wanted to visit. Unfortunately, what should have been a pleasant experience turned into an incredibly unpleasant one. Upon entering, we were greeted (if you can call it that) by a staff member with an unmistakable glare of disdain. Her expression radiated such an unwelcome attitude that it left no doubt we were not wanted there. The tension was palpable, and even the other diners appeared to notice, casting glances in our direction. The atmosphere was so hostile that we couldn’t bear to stay. After just a few minutes, we decided to leave. We crossed the street to the pizzeria, where we were warmly welcomed and treated with the kindness and respect every customer deserves. It’s a shame to see such unprofessional behavior in a restaurant I had looked forward to trying for so long. I cannot recommend this place to anyone who values good service or a welcoming environment. This experience was deeply disappointing, and we will not be returning.

08/11/2024: A truly unusual place but worth seeing. Delicious tacos and cheese croquette. The atmosphere is really special and "eccentric" but so good. We really recommend it for a good, cool and quirky time. This restaurant bar is worth a detour

16/09/2024: Went on a Saturday night and it was closed. No signs, so don’t know if it’s permanent.

29/07/2024: First night in dublin, got back to our hotel and ordered a takeaway. Ordered a mixed kebab and large pizza to be delivered to the hotel. Came reasonably quick, food was OK taste wise but portion size is small. I have lowered the stars as the kebab was €10 and quite literally half the size of what we would usually have in England for a much cheaper price and the pizza was cold.

21/07/2024: Fantastic little bakery, limited seating and it can sell out early on the weekend. Otherwise hard to fault, 10/10! Great for coffee, cakes and breads

22/11/2024: One of the many pubs in Dalkey, always worth a visit, plenty of parking nearby and a great outdoor area to relax.

22/11/2024: Not great, I had the crispy chicken wings, they came out soggy and luke warm. The meat was tough and felt like a reheat. Dissapointing.

21/11/2024: Solía ser mejor, el martes pasado pedí pizza, era horrible e insípido. su estándar no es el mismo. mismo pan de ajo, todo parece pizza vieja y pan primero como horrible

08/11/2024: Asqueroso 🫣 🤮 fila hecho kebab y las cosas muy groseras y decepcionadas, encontré un pedazo de plástico en mi plato y el cordero era completamente fila incluso sangre cuando estaba tratando de explicar al personal (un hombre de cocina me preguntan "y" , creo que hizo el plato 🤮🫣y me cobraron precio completo incluso no comí, no puedo comer carne de fila , nunca más ir allí, no recomendar

13/12/2024: We we very cold with the breeze coming from the door very cold.. This had nothing to do with the staff but think management should look into some sort of partition to block the breeze a lot of people were not happy and were getting up to close the door constantly. Kinda turned me off it if I'm honest.

11/12/2024: Overall the food and service is nice but Portion sizes are quite small for the price point.

03/11/2024: Food is over priced but that's just costa... however, coffee is good, staff are welcoming. Great for a Sunday morning chat
