The best restaurants in Dublin

24/01/2026: If I could give this place lesser than one star, I would. The food is terrible to say the least, it’s just a sad excuse for a restaurant to be honest. It seems lucrative considering the price and the fact that it’s an all you can eat buffet, but the food and overall experience is simply just not worth it. The fried items taste stale, and the curries have the most strange texture. The butter chicken was sweeter than the dessert served. Overall pathetic, 0/10, would not recommend.

22/02/2026: This is a lovely restaurant, which these days are rare as I find alot of restaurants are more interested in doing takeaways and not creating a nice dining experience. Delhi Darbar Lucan is a restaurant with a great atmosphere, great food and very attentive waiting staff. They also do amazing cocktails. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

13/02/2026: Dal makhani stood out but rest of the dishes were okay-ish

07/10/2025: The pistachio doughnut is to die for. A lot of filling inside, not too sweet, just perfect.

04/10/2025: Staff were very friendly, knew specific prices off the top of their heads. Donuts were fresh. Great service.

29/11/2025: Recently at the Ballsbridge branch, delivery option is regularly not available. Ordered Collection, went down for allotted time, mayhem inside. Staff answering the phone and checking orders appeared new, slow and flustered, had to stand around for 10 mins before I accosted a worker and then 1 of 2 ordered pizza’s was retrieved from a heating bag. Had to wait another 5 mins until someone bothered looking for pizza 2. Various people in the restaurant in the same boat as me, frustration was rife. Suffice to say pizza was not hot, was saggy and greasy once home. With the cost of pizza’s, please do better. Expensive treat tarnished by poor service today

19/11/2025: Only outdoor eating and wasn't cleaned outside was full of empty pizza boxes and used tissues

27/12/2025: In the Pub on Saturday afternoon the 27th of December and the place was freezing. There was no heating at all. The other customers were also complaining that the pub was too cold. Especially with the flu going around this is disgraceful, not a cosy pub at all. No wonder the place is going down hill

31/01/2026: Love this spot! Amazing Green Thai chicken curry and when paired with their fried rice it was beyond delicious. Also, special shoutout to their black pepper beef. Def see myself coming back for such a cheap but delicious meal!

18/12/2025: Can honestly say i travelled 2hrs 10min from belfast going to kneecap concert and had to call in to this place, which id been to a couple of times last year as i was working in liffey valley. One of the better spice bags ive had as this is almost a delicacy as we dont get them in the north sadly but definitely a shout for a quick fix and curry sauce nice n thick too

15/12/2025: Old style family pub in suburbs of Dundrum. The menu had all you needed, very good value and quality was excellent. Give it a go if you are near by, good alternative.

11/12/2025: Balinteer men's shed Christmas party went with a bang .FOOD was excellent and music top class.A great night was had by all .Definitely recommend it for a gathering. Thanks to Tomas for everything Owen

20/11/2025: Been in twice since it reopened. Staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. They don't do food at the moment so left the star rating blank. Not sure whats happening but the Guinness is awful. First visit I could only managed two pints of Guinness before going onto larger. These pint was not nice at all. Second visit with a mate, we had 3 pints of Guinness and again they were bad. It's a shame as the staff are great, the pub been done up and looks great. I will not be back till I see some reviews that the Guinness has improved.

01/01/2026: Fish and chips - both very nice, quick service. Would recommend. Best one around by far!

11/11/2025: Staff take over 10 mins to give you just 1 bag of chips when the shop is empty and the portion they give you for the price is absolutely outrageous. Go 2 mins down the road to San Marino you get way more value for money.

22/02/2026: A great place to neet a friend for Breakfast / Brunch. Great eggs 🥚 👌. Lovely homemade brown soda bread. Always the loveliest staff. Thanks guys 🙂

16/12/2025: Great local cafe / restaurant. Fresh top class breakfast and lunch with friendly well trained professional staff. I've been several times with my wife and friends and will be back again. Good value, spotless, friendly staff. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed

01/03/2026: I wouldn’t normally leave a review but the food was so bad and highly priced that I felt strong enough to leave a review., I got the lasagna and my partner got the fish pie. Both dishes were extremely bad. The fish pie was basically a bowl of chowder with a few breadcrumbs and the lasagna was overheated and the tea was cold. I would not recommend at all

20/02/2026: Came here on Saturday Morning around 11am. It was chaotic, people skipping queue bumping into each other. No one to greet you or let you know where to sit. Got a seat at the window which was a right squeeze. Had to go up after 5mina to ask for a menu for food, waited for a waiter to come to take my order which didn’t happy so had to order at the till which was a mess. Food took about 20mins to arrive. No cutlery or sugar for coffee or butter for toast. Went back up to the till and waited 5 mins for some to ask what was wrong. Staff seem to be all over the place not remembering what people ordered, table numbers or what has gone out to people. Food was ok, rashers were burnt. Ordered a caramel ice latte ( see photo). Price is good but service could be better!

16/02/2026: Advertising about the 2 for 1 deal outside the joint and on the app but, they apparently don't have scanners. Utterly disgraceful to see an Irish owned establishment to do this type of tomfoolery

08/02/2026: Had Dinner here today with my Daughters and their friend the food was burnt and the service was very poor we had to ask for cutlery and were totally ignored the whole time.just eat and get out. Toilets were closed and when my Daughter asked to use them she was told to sit down. I use to like this place but wont be going back.

21/10/2025: I ordered delivery and was pleasantly surprised! The burger was super tasty, juicy, and well-prepared, with quality ingredients. The fries were also excellent, crispy and well-seasoned. You can tell they really care about the flavor and experience, even when ordering delivery! I recommend it.
