The best restaurants in Dublin

09/06/2026: Grew up beside it in corduff ,i was looking forward to going back after many years .My daughter booked the upstairs for few drinks after grandsons christening in corduff church facing leonards, saturday evening ,booking was free as 50+ were attending so that was a bonus, platters of chicken wings,cocktail sausages etc were served and much nicer than expected..excellent day ..then moved to centre seats when numbers dropped, major mistake as we could smell toilets more than beer,impossible for owner/staff not to smell -moved downstairs to main lounge around 9pm...i was then shocked how quite it was as i grew up there and it used to be a good busy spot...there was maybe 15 other people there on a saturday night..wow! Singer started singing- nothing but des o connor songs -way too loud,i walked outside and spent the remainder of the night outside front doors standing...if its not pulling in locals on a weekend night then something seriously wrong apart from that smell....staff were absolutely brilliant 10/10,they couldnt be faulted so thank you lads ...

20/05/2026: All set for 4 of us to go in for dinner to be (eventually) told it's only on Thursday Checked social media before going and nothing about it, we did see a small generic menu The staff I attempted to ask barely spoke English and took three attempts too get this information

26/07/2026: Food is unbeatable. Always come here never get enough of it, delivery service always spot on time

19/07/2026: Bought the Sean boy box was not nice most of the food went in the bin very disappointed my husband bought his normal order which was good

09/08/2026: The worst kebab I’ve ever had, it’s a tsunami of sauce! Doner is awful and chicken scarce. Only came here cause Ali’s lido is on holidays for a few weeks.

09/08/2026: Over an hour waiting for a delivery. I am within a 1.5km distance from Takeaway Called the takeaway after 50 minute wait and was told the order was not yet made. Very dissapointed with service. Food arrived after 1hour and 20minutes

18/08/2026: Same menu as every other McDonald's. It's clean and staff are efficient & friendly.

04/08/2026: Just got home from the drive thru, half a medium frie in the bag, lukewarm and undercooked and only one dip with the 5 selects. This is not the first time I've been ripped off at the drive thru either, absolute kip!

25/06/2026: Fish and chips were very nice also the kebab box

08/05/2026: It is a takeout-only place that fries the food right there on the spot, so it took about 5 minutes. It was warm, and from an Asian perspective, the taste seems pretty much the same everywhere, but since the only condiments were vinegar and salt, it would be nice if there were more variety in the side dishes. It was an old-fashioned restaurant with a cool vibe, where the staff took care of us casually but without much thought.

15/07/2026: Honestly the worst kip. Order took over half an hour and they lost the order

14/07/2026: I popped in here for a couple of coffees at different intervals as I'd good reason to be in the area. I have to say that it was a clean McDonalds and that the staff were efficient and the coffee was very enjoyable.

28/07/2026: I’ve had friendly experiences here in the past, the women behind the counter have always been lovely. Unfortunately, I had a very different experience today. The matcha I ordered was almost entirely milk, with barely any matcha. When I raised this with the older member of staff who made it, he responded, “I’ve made 20 matchas today, and you’re the first person who’s had an issue,” rather than offering to remake or replace it. Customers shouldn’t be made to feel unreasonable for questioning a €5 drink that has not been prepared properly. If a café is going to put matcha on the menu, it should know how to make it. Based on today’s experience, I won’t be returning.

13/08/2026: Worst theatre experience. I went to watch Spider-Man in Screen 2, and they didn’t even turn on the AC or fans. The theatre was extremely uncomfortable, especially when there are already many reviews mentioning the same issue. It’s disappointing that they still don’t seem to bother fixing it. Previously, I watched Minions in Screen 6, and that room was terribly smelly. Unfortunately, both experiences at ODEON Stillorgan have been very poor.

02/08/2026: Screen 3 is very bad. Sound and screen were very poor. Would be better avoiding and watching something at home.

31/08/2026: Wouldnt recommend ordering online, took an hour and a half to come 6 minutes down the road and when it got here it was cold and bland

28/08/2026: It is with great sadness that we announce Amerta Chinese Buffet is officially closing today. Big Jay has arrived for the All You Can Eat Challenge and will officially shut this place down with his second in command Jake “The Hammer” Hickey. Management are asking customers to remain calm while emergency deliveries of chicken balls, spring rolls and crispy beef are brought in. The chef has reportedly handed in his notice. Thoughts and prayers with the buffet.

10/08/2026: I’ve been into this shop multiple times over the past month, and honestly, it’s ridiculous that the exact same thing keeps happening every time. The blonde girl is clearly working her arse off trying to serve customers and keep everything running, while the dark-haired, emo-looking girl and another member of staff are quite happy sitting at the back together doing absolutely nothing to help. There are often queues of around five customers, and somehow the blonde girl is expected to deal with every single person on her own while the other two are sat at the back chatting. How is that remotely acceptable? She is left running around trying to serve everyone while they completely ignore the situation at the front. In fairness to her, even while under stress she always greets me and others with a smile and with great service so this is in no way a reflection on the blonde girl. What makes it even worse is how obvious the exclusion is. The blonde girl is basically left on her own while the dark-haired girl and the other employee stay together in the corner, making no effort whatsoever to help her. I’ve also seen this happen to another girl working there. I’ve repeatedly seen the same behaviour now which is honestly such as shame as I really enjoy this bakery as the food is fantastic. It’s extremely unprofessional, unfair and honestly just embarrassing to watch.

09/07/2026: Wow soooo many flies ALL over the beautiful cakes and the young girl behind the counter on her phone not a care on the world. Mentioned the flies all over the cake to her she just shrugged her shoulders
