Morilles Coffee To Go
Dublin
25/11/2025: First thing they tell you is that if you want to order sandwich it will take 15 min with a face of not really wanting to offer it. They give you instructions . Not a pleasant customer service experience. Place looks very appealing from outside. The staff it’s not motivated to work I think. A bad experience. Coffee and food it’s very good
22/11/2025: Very well put together business. Delicious sausage rolls and scones. Wish we could've tried more. One of the best lattes I've had in a long time.

Scent Restaurant, Spice bag Scent@Home
Dublin
22/11/2025: Me and my boyfriend have tried probably 80% of Chinese in Dublin and nothing comes close to this. The value is typical of most places but for here it’s actually worth it. The flavours, portion sizes and readiness time are always just on point. Only annoyed they don’t deliver to his place as well as mine. Best Chinese ever!!!!
06/11/2025: I was very disappointed with my order last night. I ordered the vegetable gyoza, but what I received was nothing like that — it was more like a mushy soup that tasted of cheap vegetable stock.
The vegetarian Szechuan dish was extremely hot (and I enjoy spicy food), yet there was no indication on the menu that it would be that spicy. It was also so oily that the oil leaked through the bag and onto everything else. It was completely inedible and had to be thrown away, as did the gyoza.
My son’s chicken balls and chips with curry sauce were also disappointing. The curry sauce was far too hot, and the chicken balls and chips looked and tasted as though they had been reheated multiple times — again, inedible.
The only thing we could eat were the spring rolls, though they were a bit greasy. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and the food quality was far below what we expected. I only gave one star because I had to give something
The order was a collection and even walking into the place it’s drab, dirty carpets and walls. Not welcoming at all.

Costa Coffee Park Pointe
Dublin
08/12/2025: I recently bought a small hot chocolate drink from them, and I was asked if I want marshmallows… I said ‘yes, everything’, and when I check my bill, I was charged €2.25 extra, that’s 75c each for marshmallows, cream, chocolate chips. I think when they ask customers if they want any extra, they better ask like ‘would you like cream for extra 75 cents?’, just to make it clear.
01/11/2025: I can not confirm the bad reviews here. Every time I go, mostly Saturday and Sunday morning, I experience great service and good coffee. Nice place to hang out and get lost in a good book

Zambrero
Dublin
18/11/2025: The big burritos are advertised as having twice the rice, but only two small scoops are actually added. I love the taste, but I would like to feel full after paying 16 euros.
15/10/2025: I love Zambrero as a restaurant, and this place was very local for me and handy. Although after recent events I’ve decided to move on to a different Zambrero to enjoy my burritos.
I used to always order ahead online and then pick it up in store. I found though that in my more recent online orders they didn’t even start to make it until I arrived to collect it. It wasn’t an excuse like “we wanted it to be fresh for you” it was simply that they just didn’t prioritise it. If they’re busy I get it but I usually order at slower times of the day so that I can get my food. I also only arrive at the time allocated for me to pick up my food. The laziness was getting annoying but I let it slide.
What was my final straw with this branch was the experience I had the one time and ordered my food face to face, solely to avail of the student meal where I can get a free can of choice. As I was ordering the girl clearly wasn’t interested to begin with. I’m giving her basic manners and instructions so unsure what her issue was. When I get to the till I ask nicely if I can avail of the student deal and she asks me to show valid ID. I show her my UniDays profile that clearly states my name, college and even a photo of my face. She immediately shuts it down and says it’s an invalid form of ID and she’s not giving me the deal. I ask her why and she just says it’s invalid. The girl next to me in line sees my frustration and steps up to say how she always uses her UniDays ID and they give her the deal. Nowhere in this branch did it say that this wasn’t a valid ID. If something is not a valid form of ID, a shop MUST state this at the till for customers. They failed to do this.
The worker gave it to me but said she’d never be able to do this if “the owner was here”. I’d be very surprised if the owner of that tiny branch is there often. Maybe a manager yes, but the owner? Ok. She very rudely sat down my items the till and didn’t even give me a bag to take away my food.
I have now moved to a more communal branch and they never ask me for my student ID anymore because I am a frequent and loyal customer and also am clearly a student. They took my UniDays no issue.
To Beacon, do better. You have to label what is and isn’t accepted in a shop for customers. It can’t be a surprise when they come up to the till expecting a free drink. Students everyday look for ways to save an extra bit of money. Would also like to state that you cannot set up a UniDays account without a valid student email linked to a real college. It expires every year and you have to apply for renewal so that they know you’re still a student. It’s not a fake app where you can get away with anything. State policies in stores and train your workers to not be so lazy.

Lin's Palace
Dublin
09/11/2025: We love this place for takeaway. Our favorite is Kung Pao chicken .. very delicious..and the quantities is decent for two people. They give you fired chicken complimentary if your order is above €40.
Keep service .. you can even place order online and then collect it in 20 mins
15/09/2025: I hadn’t ordered from this takeaway in 9 years, it was underwhelming back then but holy wow has it changed! 🤤 My aunt and uncle visited this weekend and she kept saying she wanted to order from there on their last night so I cautiously agreed. I’m so glad i did, we couldn’t stop ‘wowing’!
We had the crispy duck pancakes to start, Thai green chicken curry with noodles, sweet and sour chicken with rice, massaman chicken with rice, prawn crackers and an amazing surprise extra (we think it was the Thai honey something chicken).
Generous portions, amazing flavours, everything was genuinely perfect.
I love that they do both Chinese and Thai dishes, and I’m already planning my order for next week to show my husband when he’s home how much it’s changed. (We ordered and had it delivered via Deliveroo, I’m not certain if they Deliveroo if you order direct).
You’re officially my new go-to! Right now though, I’m looking forward to my lunch leftovers, thank you! :)

10/12/2025: A DECAF coffee costs €4.30! More than an Americano. When I commented to the teller, he said “So you want one or not”. I returned my pasties and left.

Papa John's
Dublin
23/12/2025: Not the best place to eat At first, it was quiet. But then Suddenly tons of overgrown people came Even one girl sitting next to me were her hair Close to my food. And overall people just eating their food standing up next to trashes. Disgusting. And a lack of space as well. We'll never be returning.
22/12/2025: One of the poorer Supermacs. Generally untidy looking with packaging on the customer counter which may be due to a lack of space inside. Slow to take orders then a long wait for the food. There was an odour not unlike burnt oil in the air that made it unpleasant to wait. Not enough staff to serve the counter and cook the food. As what is likely a showcase for Supermacs for a lot of visitors this is not a reflection of what other outlets produce. Beggers coming in from the street did not help but that is a problem all over the city centre unfortunately. It would be better to mothball this location than to keep it open. I also marked the food down as they managed to overcook it and it was burnt! The person in from of me that asked for a refund as he was waiting so long has the right idea! Truly shocking for a Supermacs. Shame!

Wongs
Dublin
14/12/2025: Food excellent. Service could have been improved.
20/08/2025: We went for a midweek late dinner. Peaceful & tidy. Staff were helpful, fast & welcoming. Food taste was not to a level that I go back for another try neither the prices match the quality. So I don’t recommend it. I have had similar food with lower price & higher quality in many other restaurants. I just can point out that the beef slices were quite tender so felt fresh but green curry not recommended at all.

The Globe
Dublin
27/11/2025: 8.50 a pint for a session IPA is very expensive in Dublin city center. Nice bar but very expensive.
26/11/2025: If you haven’t been to The Globe in Dublin, you’re missing out on a cultural landmark of pure, unfiltered vibes. Walk in and you’re greeted by a pint of Guinness so creamy it could win awards, served with the confidence of a pub that knows it pours one of the best in town. The place hums with a kind of chaotic charm — part old-school pub, part underground disco, part “where did the last three hours go?”
And then… the toilets.
I don’t usually talk about restrooms in reviews, but these are the cleanest toilets in Dublin. Sparkling, spotless, downright majestic. Honestly, I suspect they’re maintained by a guild of highly trained cleansing wizards.
But keep an eye out for the pillar, you’ll know it when you see it!
Great tunes, great stout, immaculate loos, and mysterious soft furnishings.
Five stars. Would pint again.
