The best restaurants in Dublin

07/11/2024: I attended TU Dublin and was generally pleased with the quality of the education. The course was well-structured, and I gained valuable knowledge that has benefited my career. However, my experience at the graduation ceremony left me with a disappointing final impression. Prior to the ceremony, I reached out to ask if my wife and our 1-month-old daughter could attend with me. I was told by email that there would be no space for prams, so my family stayed home, missing this important moment. When I arrived at the event, I was surprised and frustrated to see several other guests with prams and babies, and even a designated area to accommodate them. Afterward, I reached out to express my disappointment but received no response. It was incredibly disheartening to feel misled, especially on such an important day. While the course itself was great, this lack of clear communication and follow-up is something I can’t overlook. Because of this experience, I can’t fully recommend TUD to future students.

01/10/2024: Awful quality lecturers, disorganised, technology at a very poor level.

29/12/2024: Ordered a lovely chicken burrito today, tasted nice but a trade off of explosive Diarrhoea that’s lasted the entire day wasn’t worth it. Shitty food, literally.

28/12/2024: Fast food Mexican restaurant. The food is ok. The friendliness of the workers could improve.

22/12/2024: Went through the address validation and the site says they deliver. Go through and order food, order is accepted which then charges your card and then after accepting the order they ring you to say sorry we don't deliver there. So now I have to wait 3 to 5 days for a refund. Completely unacceptable to blindly accept all orders to then call and cancel.

02/11/2024: The café is located in a beautiful, spacious park, which also has a great children's playground. The café offers, among other things, warm drinks as well as baked goods and also sandwiches made with love. You can get a good view of the playground from the café. There is also a toilet. However, you can only sit outside!

06/10/2024: By far the most ignorant staff in Dublin. Have heard them sniggering about customers behind the counter.

04/09/2024: Best Spicebag in all of Dublin. I know my spicebags. They do a mean Spicebag. Its big and cheap. Tastes delicious. I love it. Nice staff at the counter.

19/12/2024: La calidad de sus fish and chips Ayer por la noche cené allí, el pescado estaba cubierto de una masa llena de grasa y las llamadas patatas fritas cortadas a mano. Sólo somos una masa grasienta en el caldo de platos juntos. Nunca volvería.

15/11/2024: Si estás paseando por O'Connell Street en Dublín y descubres que tienes un antojo de pescado, Beshoff's es el lugar para ir. Fui varias veces y cada comida era un plato de pescado perfectamente cocinado y sabrosas patatas fritas, y a un precio razonable. Puedes comer arriba o abajo o salir. Si olvidas tu sombrero allí, lo tendrán para ti al día siguiente. Beshoff's, una excelente elección.

09/11/2024: The End of an Era Background It is with great sadness and regret, that after 20+ years, I officially ended my long standing relationship with Pizza Hut Rathfarnham. What started off as a bubbly and innocent bond, built off delicious thin base pizzas, the juiciest of garlic bread ( OG's will remember) and the convenience of it being a stone thrown away, unfortunately the relationship has deteriorated in tandem with the standards and quality that the shop puts out. The Main Event Tonight was the night, Saturday night fever, the 11 month was in bed and myself and herself had agreed to get a pizza ( largely driven by my craving for a pizza with pineapple). We ordered a large thin base pizza with double crispy bacon and double pineapple and some cookie dough to round off the indulgence. Herself collected and drove home no longer than a 5/6 minute drive. I was excited, eager and starving a terrific combination. When I opened the box I knew it was going to fall short of the once epic standards of this local establishment. Look, there was nothing horrifically wrong but straight away you could tell that the level of freshness was not going to match my expectation and previous experiences. It would be amiss to not comment that I got double bacon and double pineapple ( Yeah what about it ?!) and I was disappointed to see literally 2 pieces of bacon on a couple of the slices. Of course I ate my share and some because that's the type of guy I am, a team player but again it just didn't hit the spot. Cookie dough was delicious but small, sure they know that already. Extras If you've gotten this far into the review, maybe we should be friends cause you clearly don't have a life either but I do want to comment on the service, my partner collected and said that everyone was very nice so fair play to the boots on the ground, this review is not a criticism on them, Pizza Hut have been cutting corners ( like a lot of other established chains) but tonight they've met there match from a man in his mid 30's with 20%+ body fat. The Summary To finish, a tear to what used to be a fine establishment and a hat tip to the staff who are stuck working to the standards driving by the man ( the man being the Pizza Hut in this instance) You'll continue to sell pizzas just not to this man.

30/12/2024: just got a delivery from this Chinese and very disappointed we ordered a munchie box and rice , it was an hour late and freezing cold, the food was like it was lying there for hours and was just thrown together, the sauces that u get are tiny , and the rice we got for €3.50 was a small one , wouldn't recommend to anyone waste of money !!

04/12/2024: Always been a fan of summer inn, Tallaght does decent food, always ready when I go in to collect , recently tried their Christmas Spicebag , stuffing and gravy works well with it. Surprisingly , and their wrappo share box is unreal

21/12/2024: As a coffee lover, and trust me, I have been to almost every Starbucks and other cafes , this one has to be my favourite , never fails me 🙏🙏🙏🙏 best coffee served here, the staff are skilled baristas.

12/12/2024: I was told this was a ham and cheese toastie but in fact it is “ steamed pork” very disappointed and help was not offered not worth 8 euro

13/09/2024: the place was a mess inside—dirty tables and floors EVERYWHERE. It really killed my appetite. The burrito itself was fine, the overall experience was ruined by the lack of cleanliness. mess, mess, mess. I definitely wouldn’t recommend eating in.
