19/02/2026: Portion size of the spice bag is absolutely criminal. Also, it’s €9.70 which is even more shocking. Ordered it one day after work starving. Had to make food after it cause I wasn't full at all.

14/02/2026: We order every week sometimes twice a week absolutely beautiful food, but 14th February 2026 rang 36 times constantly engaged tone, gave up ringing, if yr closed please up date yr information on website please, definitely not good enough , pricey enough eitherway so please remember yr loyal customers here ,

12/01/2026: Great spot for a quiet pint or two. A very well run pub, no nonsense taken. Lots of tellies for big games, great beer. Huge smoking area with lots of room, heated in winter. Great clientele and staff, everything you'd want in a good local.pub.

23/12/2025: Kicked out for no apparent reason. Twice, no doubt. Its not ideal for anyone for any ethnicity, apparently no one is welcome here. The bartender with a shaved head and glasses made that very apparent

The service was excellent. I heartily suggest this Indian restaurant to anyone searching for delicious food and first-rate service. I will most certainly return!

20/10/2025: Horrendous service especially as of late, we have had 5 orders over the last few months arrive with 1 or more side missing, then being told you'll have to ring the store to get it sorted. You ring and are left on hold then the staff try to get you to not have a replacement sent out, the missing sides end up taking longer to receive than the original order does

07/01/2026: I absolutely love this cafe. It has good coffee and great vibes. I love the hazelnut canolis. They also usually have good range of desserts and snack options. You can sit here and work, they have WiFi as well. Overall a good cafe! Very easily accessible. Totally recommended.

Please provide a relish or pickle for the very plain sandwiches. That would really help. Especially at 9euro each. Some nice cushions would really be appreciated. Both the plastic chairs and wooden couch seats are very uncomfortable. Thanks

06/10/2025: A wide selection of coffee beans, which you can either pick up ready-made or have roasted right for you. The only inconvenience is that when you order coffee to go, it's always piping hot. In good establishments, coffee is ready to drink right away.

03/10/2025: Bought bread and pastries. Asked to the staff if they were fresh and they said yes. When I got home I tried the bread and one pastry, definitely not fresh.

31/07/2025: I purchased a chocolate cake together with a lemon cake, but it was extremely hard and seemed stale, as if it had been left out for several days. I expected a fresh, soft cake, but this was disappointing.

16/12/2025: Staff very warm & welcoming. Restaurant Supervisor was smiling, friendly & attentive. Lovely decor and ambiance. Unfortunately, to our surprise, the food wasn’t very nice. Goats cheese & beet starter was served resembling a piece of pie. It didn’t appear to be freshly made and was somewhat dry. Fish & chips very poor quality. The cod was wafer thin, hard and basically a piece of batter. I’m almost sure the chips were cooked from frozen and not “homemade” prepared, as expected for the price. Beef was just ok but wasn’t finished due to the overly fatty content and off putting texture. Table bread and salmon starter was lovely and served fresh. We did not stay for dessert. The full amount paid was €120 for two persons, this included €10 tip for the service staff. In my opinion, it’s just not worth the money based on the overall quality of the meal served. Such a pity considering the performance we went to see was amazing. We could have eaten better elsewhere for 1/2 of the price. This was our first time to eat at this restaurant..

24/12/2025: I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews but the man in charge seems to actively want it, so I'm happy to help out! I live locally and have been in here a fair bit over the years. Stopped in for one on the way home one night with the missus. Pub mostly empty, about 20 minutes until close. I get one for myself and sit down, barman promptly comes over and says she'll also have to get a drink. We were confused at first, so she asks for tap water. He says well I can charge you €3.50 for it, or else you can leave. You wouldn't get this treatment in the worst kind of tourist trap in Temple Bar. Just to be clear it's Tadgh Coughlan who runs the pub and is behind this nonsense, not Frank Ryan as I've seen some others blame. Ryan has had nothing to do with it in decades, seems Coughlan is determined to run his name through the muck!

22/02/2026: I had rented a room, I overslept, I thought I had to pay the next day, they said it was 70 euros, I had to pay or I would be evicted immediately. Then I went to the Rhine room, and it turned out per AIPBNB was 44.50. I took it easy, two men came to my room and said, get out now. I packed my things, went to shower, and in the meantime, my backpack was cruelly stolen. The owner is not our responsibility; they sent me out with a suitcase containing my 53-year-old, stolen passport, laptop, and spare phone. Their response was not our responsibility. They kicked me out. I never did this. In my last case, there were two laptops worth 2500 dur each. They didn't want to investigate, they just kicked me out. I had paid. Never in their life would they come here. I can't accuse anyone, but they didn't look at the camera. I think they stole it themselves. If you come here, you know they won't protect you. If you want to lose your stuff, go here. The man behind the counter didn't care. He felt personally attacked. There was no investigation, a report is being filed with the police. I stole the cow myself, and I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow I hear the camera wasn't working. Never in their life would they come here. These are bad people. I asked for an extension. It's 71 dur on Airbnb. B was 44.50. They said now that two men were cheating on me, if I had been in the Netherlands and 30 years of hunger, I would have taken measures myself, what a bunch of antisocial people, never book here, 3500 dur lost, passport lost and they didn't even bother to look after it, luckily I earn 600 dur per day, but if you earn little, it is the most disrespectful thing I have ever experienced in 40 countries.

21/02/2026: I had a very disappointing experience with this hostel’s booking process. I made a reservation for February 22 and clearly indicated my arrival time would be between 12:00 and 01:00. The system accepted my check-in time and processed my payment without any issue, so I reasonably assumed everything was confirmed and finalized my travel plans accordingly. Later, I received an email stating that my check-in time was denied and that my booking was not complete. There was no phone call, no immediate notification, and no opportunity to adjust my arrival time before the booking was effectively cancelled. This left me scrambling to find alternative accommodation at very short notice. I called the number associated with the hostel 5 times, no awnser just left a voicemail box that was full. If late check-in is not permitted, the booking system should not accept those times or process payment in the first place. Taking payment and then denying the agreed arrival time is misleading and extremely inconvenient for travellers, especially those arriving on overnight transport. Unfortunately, this experience has caused unnecessary stress and has made me question the reliability of their reservation system. I would recommend that future guests confirm late arrival policies directly before booking to avoid a similar situation.
