The best restaurants in Dublin

29/07/2026: At about 14:00 - 14:30, me and my boyfriend go to get food. We're being served by a guy (sadly I didn't get his name). He's super duper polite and tells us not to get 2 loaded fries portions because it is quite big on its own. We patiently wait for our food and he brings it straight after it's done. Cooked nicely so that the burger is still piping hot but the fries are edible, (temperature and flavour wise). We are about to get another drink, when he gave us a refill❤️

19/07/2026: One of the best burgers! Everything was fresh, juicy, and packed with flavour. The quality of the food really stands out. The staff were exceptionally warm, polite, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Great food, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommended ✨

30/07/2026: Found the staff here friendly, but the price point is way off. Paid almost a tenner for a small sandwich (even though it was one of their 'signature range'). Still hungry after it. Probably the dearest place around Nassau Street but there are many better places close by to get much better value for money.

16/07/2026: The sushi tasted sweet, the rice was stringy, and we couldn't taste the fish. Personally, as a sushi lover, I wanted to try a new place, but I completely left it and didn't eat it despite the money I spent.

20/06/2026: The place is located at the first floor (+1 from the street level). The food is delicious. I was so hungry that finished everything without even taking the picture. Tuna and salmon are fresh and super tasty. They have a nice selection of gunkans, temakies, rolls and combos.

28/06/2026: Only giving 2 stars because my favourite staff have all left 😒My work colleagues and I have been getting our coffee from here every weekday. The draw is actually the friendly barista staff, Sam, Franco, Abbie, Karl and there is another tall lad but I cannot remember his name . They are always polite and friendly . We still miss Sean though

17/06/2026: Lava coffe is the best you can get dark roast or mild. They are in most Applegreen garages its part of our moving ritual.

26/05/2026: Inconsistent and disappointed. It's hit or miss whether Bangkok noodles will be spicy or not. Tonight my husband said they were good, last time they weren't. I ordered Kung Fu noodles based on the description & photo (chicken & veg noodle stirfry), there was loads of chicken but the veg was practically non existent. A tiny amount and miniscule sized veg (maybe 1 piece of mangetout diced into 8-10 pieces along with a dozen miniscule (3mm cubed) pieces of carrot). Won't be ordering it again.

13/05/2026: Would never order from this place again. Honestly one of the worst food experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food tasted like pure salt — no flavour, no quality, just salt overloaded on everything. The meat was old, dry, chewy and looked like it had been sitting there for weeks untouched. Completely inedible. Food quality was terrible from start to finish. Definitely not fresh and definitely not worth the money. I genuinely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I won’t recommend it even to my enemy. 1 star is being too much. This place shouldn’t be on market selling this garbage to people. I would rather stay hungry even if they offer to get something free from them.

11/07/2026: This place is so much better than the place next door. Went for the magic box. Service was quick and kind, chips good, kebab meat good and plenty of sauce if asked for. Top spot. Thanks guys

29/06/2026: Ordered food here twice, mixed kebab box and fish and chips. It was after 11pm (possibly later) on both occasions. The fact that they were open was a welcome sight as there was no other food options nearby. The food was excellent and the owners were working hard and still polite and friendly throughout the process. I'd never been to a "chipper" (as one local described it) so unsure what to expect. Kebabs were well seasoned and came in a healthy portion size. The fish was just good but the chips were excellent. I would not hesitate to eat here again.

20/06/2026: Place is far too hot, feels like 5 degrees hotter than outside. Can't see the screens properly due to brightness and glare, pretty horrible experience

10/08/2026: The burger didn’t taste well and it took too long for them to serve it even if there was no line, the lady in the counter was also super rude, definitely don’t go.

06/08/2026: Need to learn how to talk and have some manners on the phone youd swear im after ringing her house and waking her up hangs up the phone and during the call its what! not what would you like

06/08/2026: Food is always good the girl on the phone is so rude just hangs up as ur still talking answers the phone and says what the other girl joy is lovely on the phone all the delivery drivers are lovely but whoever is working der now the last few weeks has no manners and is always rude I dont even feel like getting it anymore because when shes on the orders are always wrong and its horrible talking on the phone and being nice and ur saying thank u and she just hangs up the phone should have a job answering phones if shes gunna be that rude

10/07/2026: Used to be top teir. Last few times chips have been brown, undercooked and oily.

20/06/2026: It's the perfect go to and abordable place in belmayne for a great take away!

04/03/2026: Pretty good atmosphere all around. The staff is quick on their feet and friendly. I've mostly ordered different kind of loaded fries here and they were all tasty, albeit a bit pricey still. The cheese is never fully melted though and should probably be heated up before serving.

28/05/2026: Hi, a person of 68yrs who has been a great supporter of Captain Americas through the years. Back in late 70's ,was nurse training in local area, 10 in the group & would have regularly gone for dinner in restaurant. After that ,visited often,when in Dublin cityh. My family would also have been regulars. My youngest Son, insisted on a visit with us ,before he emigrated to Canada on 2017. Captain Americas has been a big part of my life for many years. A lot of good memories. Sad to see it go, but hope new enterprise will be as good.

14/05/2026: We were lost, not knowing where to eat; it was after 3:00 PM. And yes, without any problem, they served us a delicious meal: a beef stew and a lamb stew. Thank you for your attention. May 12, 2026
