28/06/2026: 2024: I think it’s under new ownership as is so different, Food was bland, ordering was awkward. Unfortunate as previous owners ran a great shop. Update 2026 (with photos) Really poor food, terrible quality of meat / ingredients..awful smell of fish in the shop, dirty inside. The chicken seemed old and refried as was extremely greasy and tough, the prawn toast was so poor, laughable really, 2cm thick at most. A real shame as the previous owners of this place slung some seriously good grub. Avoid.

24/07/2026: I have been visiting this business for a few months now. overall the food quality has been decent for the price you pay. You pay what you get. Customer experience: not good. Tried to order food by phone today as usual, the staff is too basic, if you not what I mean, tried to order french fries and I was told "I cant understand you" in a very rude tone. As soon as I said chips all of a sudden the lady understood. The quality of the Cheese Chips was awful, not like I am used too. the Cheese was like it was prepared a couple of days ago and the fries were soggy. Not a good experience at all. I payed 7 euro , not worth 2 euro though.

07/06/2026: The food is nice, the staff are friendly, and the location is excellent. The updated entrance now looks much better and gives the place a more welcoming feel. It’s a great little fish and chips takeaway.

14/08/2026: stopped in for lunch but sadly they are not doing food🤨 had to go anns cafe.

26/06/2026: I am deeply concerned by reports that have been shared publicly regarding the Donaghmede Inn and the alleged treatment of members of the Irish Traveller community. According to public statements made by JP Collins, he and his wife were allegedly refused service because they are members of the Traveller community. If these allegations are accurate, this would amount to discrimination based on ethnicity, which has no place in any business or community. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background. People should be judged by their own conduct, not by stereotypes or assumptions about the community they belong to. I hope the management addresses these allegations publicly and provides a clear account of what happened. If discrimination did occur, I hope appropriate steps are taken to ensure it never happens again. Businesses should be welcoming to everyone and uphold the principles of equality and fair treatment. Allegations like these are serious, and transparency from all parties is important so the public can have confidence that everyone is treated fairly.

12/07/2026: I have not had food here so can’t rate it. I’ve had coffee twice and it’s ok, but not amazing. The problem is consistently the poor service, which many other reviews mention also. Today we waited at the counter, completely unacknowledged by multiple staff who avoided even looking at us or the people behind us because they were already overwhelmed with the existing food orders. This is awkward and unwelcoming and I definitely don’t recommend experiencing it.

10/09/2026: I am writing to express my deep indignation and disappointment with the service provided. I always try to support Brazilian businesses and consume from our own community, but unfortunately, the experience I had was extremely frustrating and disrespectful. The problem isn't the €5 delivery fee. What really bothers me is the attitude and lack of professionalism. The delivery person made the last call at 7:50 PM, and I called back exactly one minute later. Several attempts to contact them were made, all ignored. Curiously, as soon as I contacted the restaurant and informed the delivery person that there would be a new delivery fee, he answered immediately and arrived at the building less than a minute later. Furthermore, I received no confirmation from the app regarding the delivery, which made it even harder to understand what was happening. €5 won't make a difference to my bill. What remains is the feeling of having been treated this way for a situation that could have been resolved simply and professionally. It's a shame, because precisely because we're from the same community, we expect to be able to trust and support each other's businesses. I sincerely hope you will review how this type of situation is handled, because customer service and respect should be worth more than €5.

06/09/2026: I’ve been living in Europe for four years—spending time in England, France, and Portugal, and now Dublin—and I have to admit: I’ve never had a pizza as good as the *Paulista* style pizza here in Dublin! I chose a half-and-half pizza—half *carne-seca* (cured beef) and half chicken—and I was honestly blown away by the incredible, unique flavor. I highly recommend this place and want to offer my compliments and congratulations to the entire team!!

26/09/2026: Alright location to dine in but an absolutely mismanaged drive through. Today at 11am after ordering in drive through I was sent to be parked in the parking bays to wait for the order - only to discover that both bays were already full with people waiting for their food too. There was a considerable q forming behind me already, I had to park in the shopping centers car park instead. The staff then couldn’t find my car, forcing me to pull out my infant from the car and go search for them myself. This isn’t the first time it’s happening at this location - if you’re looking for a reliable drive-through, avoid this spot like a plague.

31/08/2026: It was closed half an hour before closing time, and we'd made a detour after a concert because nothing else was open and we desperately needed to use the restroom and grab a bite to eat, as we had a several-hour drive home ahead of us. Plus, there were dangerous, drugged, and drunk people in the parking lot begging; the area made us feel very unsafe. I don't recommend it.

13/05/2026: Would never order from this place again. Honestly one of the worst food experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food tasted like pure salt — no flavour, no quality, just salt overloaded on everything. The meat was old, dry, chewy and looked like it had been sitting there for weeks untouched. Completely inedible. Food quality was terrible from start to finish. Definitely not fresh and definitely not worth the money. I genuinely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I won’t recommend it even to my enemy. 1 star is being too much. This place shouldn’t be on market selling this garbage to people. I would rather stay hungry even if they offer to get something free from them.

10/09/2026: Been eating from here for as long as i can remember, before summer inn took over, and i have to say the past months, the quality of beef has dropped drastically, so so chewy. Rice is either amazing, or all clumped together curry sauce is amazing flavour wise, sometimes too watery, honestly just lacking consistency. still one of my favourite places but i've been let down recently.

26/08/2026: Amazing food and great portion sizes! Delivery came fast and the food was piping hot still

04/10/2026: Terrible queueing and service system, the staff should have dedicated stations, till, counter, coffee etc instead of each of them jumping around which makes every order take twice as long as it should

28/09/2026: Nice but expensive. Staff are nice and professional. Queues move slowly, takes long time to get served - it needs separate queue for drinks only.

09/08/2026: This place deserves to be condemned in the strongest possible terms. Selling beer (for €6, oh my god!) on university grounds seems highly immoral. The staff is friendly, but I wouldn't even feed their food to a dog. And I don't like dogs. The place has had problems with credit card data protection in the past, so be careful!

24/07/2026: I rang the shop in Stillorgan, and asked if they did dairy free cakes, as I can't eat dairy, I think she was spanish, but so rude and just said no we don't, even if they did I wouldn't go there. They should train their staff how to have mannerson the phone. Very disappointed

26/05/2026: Got a takeaway this week. Really poor standard of food, just thrown together basically. Chicken quality was tough and noodles in the pad Thai were all broken up like they came from the end of a bag. If this was a sit down thai restaurant they would never put out this food the way it was presented to us. Definitely won't be going back.

04/05/2026: I have gotten food here a couple of times. Every time that I tried it I either had diarrhea or I was feeling like throwing up. Don't try the food. However, if you do decide to try it, please do so at your own risk.

17/07/2026: Always got the spice bag meal deal, it recently went up by €1 and the bag has actually got smaller in size, not a great way to keep customers!

13/06/2026: I saw this restraunt on Facebook. A guy did a review of it. I had to look up the address from their page. I also got the menu from their website. When I asked for a particular item he looked at me and said that's not "our" page and became very rude and refused to service me. I ordered chicken balls and chips but got given fried rice. The chicken balls were very burnt and the rice was dry but ok. The curry sauce was delicious. I won't be going back.

12/08/2026: last time I went I got the Pringles chicken and it was great some of the best chicken I got out of burger king 👑

18/07/2026: Dirty, especially the toilettes. Coffee was empty, could be ordered at the machine. Not funny.
