21/09/2025: Soooo this place doesn’t actually exist on this location. Don’t know who’s posting but as of Saturday night 9/29 this doesn’t exist /9 don’t fall for it especially if you’re drunk and hungry!!!

10/08/2025: The worst fish and chips I’ve ever had in Ireland. Stomach turning greasy and undercooked. Had to throw the bag out on the way home. Also charged extra for simple condiments. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

04/11/2025: Loved this little spot, excellent breakfast and really excellent coffee! Will go again.

29/10/2025: I've been here many times, always delicious food and coffee, and fantastic service. I was there yesterday with my grandsons. The 5 year old got a burger from the kids menu and loved it, it looked delicious I was hoping he'd leave some, he didn't!! The fussy 3 year old had sausages and also didn't leave a crumb. French toast and mini breakfast for the adults also perfect, coffee is always hot and delicious too.

02/04/2026: Ordered well done bacon on my chips 15 mins before I arrived and was notified it would be ready in 15 mins but not even started when I got there as I seen he only put on 1 miserable piece of bacon after I arrived and said I ordered online. The 1 piece of bacon which was half fat, hardly cooked, mean portion for the price, never returning and would advise to avoid

14/03/2026: I stopped by Jani’s Take Away after seeing the location and reading strong reviews. The spot looked promising and I wanted to try it for myself. The food was quick and convenient. I appreciated the fact the order was made fresh and not pulled from frozen. The fish was good and tasted fresh, which I liked. The chips were not my favorite. They were cut quite thick and ended up a bit soggy for my taste. I tend to prefer chips with more crisp, though I know some people enjoy them thicker. One part of the experience felt a little off. The person who took my order, who I imagine might have been the owner or manager, did not seem thrilled to be there. I asked about an item I had seen listed for Wednesday Fish and Chips. He explained that price was only for the Wednesday and the regular price was a few euro more. I had no issue paying the higher price at all. When I said that was fine, the interaction still felt a bit reluctant, almost like ordering fish and chips was an inconvenience. I understand running a takeaway all day is tiring, and it may have simply been a long shift. I have my own business and work extremely long days, so I can empathize. And, I still manage to smile and offer some warmth when enacting with customers. The food itself was fresh and the fish was solid. The overall experience just felt a little less welcoming than I expected.

06/03/2026: Got food form here befor there was hair asked them nicely for a fresh meal the gave me one tried to Oder again told me they don’t deliver down to my house but delivered to the house next door called me rude names when I asked why honestly not a good place

29/11/2025: traditional fish and chips, very tasty. friendly service.

15/11/2025: I have tried a few dishes here and each were worse than the other. Kebab - made with a frozen slice of meat, salads and dressings limited. Gried chicken - reheated, dry and tasted mostly of pepper. Smoked Cod tasted synthetic, fish was grey in places, overcooked and the smoking was dreadful. I couldnt eat it at all. Saving grace is the chips are ok. A really shame as the staff are lovely and the space is spotless.

07/08/2025: Nice pleasant café. Bright and airy. Pleasant staff. Mainly coffee and pastries. A selection of 3 pre made sandwiches. So not the place for lunch. Please provide a relish or pickle for the very plain sandwiches. That would really help. Especially at 9euro each. Some nice cushions would really be appreciated. Both the plastic chairs and wooden couch seats are very uncomfortable. Thanks

25/05/2025: a place where you can drink a nice coffee and feel comfortable. Clean and high quality. The staff is friendly and warm. If you want to get your coffee and start the day positively, this is the right place for you. Thank you

25/03/2026: Nice ish food, but the curry sauce which is usually a hook from any Chinese, to any customer, was packed with coconut oil! Very unpleasant! Won't be ordering a again sorry! Meh!

07/03/2026: One of my friends suggested this place and went there. We ordered half chicken meal and it only costs 12 Euros. The Food was delicious, we ordered chicken with rice. The rice and chicken everything was delicious and up to the mark.

28/09/2025: Thank you, I come early in the morning and do abit of work from my laptop before library opens. The staff is very friendly! The milkshake is amazing:-)

25/09/2025: Had the worst experience of any pub I've ever been in. The barman suffers from small angry man syndrome, he was extremely rude to myself and my friend, what makes it worse was that the owner was serving customers next to us. The barman has obviously forgot the meaning of a public house and would need to change his attitude or job, he clearly is not enjoying it.

20/09/2025: Unfriendly .. without any reason stopped giving out drinks. After asking for the manager, conversation was stopped..

07/04/2026: Not dog friendly anymore - Told our small dog not welcome. House rules re the Manager. Our friendly dog has given endless customers in Starbucks Dunlaoghaire joy for years (particularly during Covid) and we were all welcome up to now. We always tipped.and were good customers. Will go else where.

05/04/2026: Avoid as much as you can ... lots of people will be here with their apple products connecting to the starbucks free wifi so the network will be really slow. Service, 2 girls at the till and they still manage to offer a let down service. And of course you will need the vode for the toillets.. Place, dirty.
