Fish Shack
Dublin
13/01/2026: Went here with our dog and the staff took great care of us; providing a water bowl and snacks. Food was delicious and the chips were surprisingly good (not something I ever comment on).

Aladdin Kebabs
Dublin
23/09/2025: Dublin Kebab - the chicken wing meal is where it’s at. They cook the wings over their bbq grill or over the tandoori oven. Comes with a salad, freshly baked homemade flat bread and 2 sauces. I could be here all day talking about how good it is. Always feel good after it . Takes a little longer than their other stuff to prepare but it’s worth the wait in my humble opinion
21/09/2025: Clearly, perfectly nd brilliant service really appreciate it nd moralfull , friendly stuffs👍

Paulista Pizza & Esfihas
Dublin
20/02/2026: ABSOLUTELY DISSATISFIED! It's unacceptable to wait almost 2 hours for the order to arrive and still receive a cold and partially destroyed pizza.
I felt like I was eating stale pizza.
There was a total lack of respect; I've never felt so foolish as to pay 45 euros for food that leaves so much to be desired.
20/02/2026: The pizza is tasty, but it's not worth the wait. An unbelievable 3-hour wait for a pizza that arrived cold. I don't recommend it.

The Buttery
Dublin
22/08/2025: I really enjoyed my lunch here. There was a good choice of main courses. My chicken curry was tasty & the cabbage was great too. The Warbler & Wren coffee was delicious. If you bring your own mug of cofeee you get a 10% discount.
It's very economical compared with many eateries in the vicinity, The dinning area is extensive and I enjoyed talking to some students eating lunch with me.
10/08/2025: It's advertised as open until 10:30am for breakfast. We went in at 09:55 and they had already stopped serving. We asked one of the staff, who was quite grumpy about telling us food was only served till 10. Went to Keoghs instead.

McDonald’s Citywest Shopping Centre
Dublin
09/12/2025: There's only chip size option; large and it's a standard size portion in my opinion. I ordered the chips and a southern fried breast of chicken.
I asked for salt and vinegar and when I started eating, the first thing that struck me was how bland the food was.
There was very little salt and vinegar on the chips. In fact I suspect it's that watered down 'vinegar' some chippers use.
The chicken was a big let down too. Southern fried should have tons of flavour but this tasted of nothing.
Overall it was a disappointing meal and service was very slow.
Also, leave the chips unwrapped and the salt and vinegar out on display so customers can add more.
Will not return.
14/11/2025: The kebab had to much lettuce and cabbage and the curry chips I got were too dry didn’t have much sauce 👍

Captain Americas
Dublin
25/02/2026: Husband and I had chile burger and chips, and hawain burger and chips.
It was an absolutely disgraceful meal for any chef to send out to a customer ..
Chips were loaded onto plates, were obviously reheats and full of bitty burnt chips. Could not eat chips at all.
An absolute disgraceful meal. SHAME On you all.
23/02/2026: If you’re looking for the nostalgia of the golden days, you won’t get it here. Food and service was awful. Warm wine, rubbery chicken, rock hard batter on fish. Staff opening pointing and talking about is when we asked for a cold glass of white wine! Extra food on the receipt we didn’t order. We even had to ask for cutlery as we weren’t given any and no wet towels to wipe your hands with the wings. So disappointing

McDonald's
Dublin
04/03/2026: One of the cleanest McDonald's I've seen in Ireland. Everything was clean: tables, floors, staff uniforms, toilets and it was lovely to see fresh flowers on the tables. It's a good thing the new delivery counters don't have a view to inside, at least we can't see them touching the food without gloves!
04/02/2026: Good hot food and friendly staff. Place was clean too!

Brown's Brasserie Dublin at Brown Thomas
Dublin
04/10/2025: Food quality is terrible. The kids goujons and chips are deep fried and very, very fried. The chips were a mixture of skinny chips and skin on chips? Felt like it was the ends. French toast was only ok, didn't come with maple syrup, just a drizzle on the plate, wasn't very filling at all for the price. I did like that the area was spacious where the round tables are (the other tables are cramped). Very few vegetarian/vegan menu options on the main menu (except plenty of starters which is odd?) and no vegetarian options on the kids menu. Highchair was filthy I had to clean it myself. Service was non-existant, we waited about 15 minutes to order and then had to go up to the counter to ask for the bill. Definitely won't be back, quite poor service and low quality food being the reason.
20/09/2025: Had a killer desert here. The best.

Tommy O'Gara's
Dublin
09/02/2026: A really nice pub ar the heart of Stoneybatter. Nice crew, good beer and it has a cozy beer garden.
02/02/2026: My friends and I went into this pub at 7 PM. We were absolutely sober (of course, it was 7 PM). Some of our friends stayed outside to finish smoking their cigarettes. One of the bartenders (a man in his 50s with glasses and a gray stubble) blocked our way and started being rude from the moment we walked in. He then asked why someone was waiting outside. We replied that our friends would finish their cigarettes and then join us. The bartender continued to be rude and swear and said he wouldn't serve us: "You people." We didn't understand what he meant, but one of us had mobility issues. This is actually a violation of Irish consumer protection laws. But we didn't bother to confront this boor and went into the next pub. I highly recommend not going here.

Bianconi's
Dublin
17/05/2025: As someone new to town, I had this place recommended to me. I arrived late tonight, just 30 minutes before they closed. An older lady kindly explained their chef had already left. However, she was incredibly helpful and still managed to serve me. She offered me lasagna, and it tasted great! I ate quickly so they wouldn't have to stay open late for me, but she never rushed me and even kindly warned me it was very hot. At the register, she even gave me an Italian bread to take home and try. I'm so grateful for her kindness. It meant a lot to me and really made a difference.
05/05/2025: The pizzas aren't amazing, but they're good. They can be a great snack option.

Dreamcatcher Cafes
Dublin
14/01/2026: Food is just pre packaged frozen and low quality. The owner is also malicious and racist- avoid!
23/09/2025: I order Lunch regularly for company meetings usually delivered and sometimes we eat in, all the food is freshly prepared daily and nothing is too much trouble. The food is amazing and the staff are very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend them for any event or just a lunch date.
