29/08/2026: Possiy the worst bar staff i have ever come across. I had ordered 4 pints and refused 4 pints as we had requested a empty pint class so we could watch a club gaa game on our phone. Please avoid . This is the worst rude staff ever

28/08/2026: A group of 10. Denied service because "we don't accept groups, only locals" Just one customer in the place on an afternoon. Excellent way in doing business. Judging by other comments and reviews we weren't the only people to be told this. Won't be returning or recommending this place. There are much nicer and welcoming pubs in the area.

24/07/2026: I have been visiting this business for a few months now. overall the food quality has been decent for the price you pay. You pay what you get. Customer experience: not good. Tried to order food by phone today as usual, the staff is too basic, if you not what I mean, tried to order french fries and I was told "I cant understand you" in a very rude tone. As soon as I said chips all of a sudden the lady understood. The quality of the Cheese Chips was awful, not like I am used too. the Cheese was like it was prepared a couple of days ago and the fries were soggy. Not a good experience at all. I payed 7 euro , not worth 2 euro though.

07/06/2026: The food is nice, the staff are friendly, and the location is excellent. The updated entrance now looks much better and gives the place a more welcoming feel. It’s a great little fish and chips takeaway.

21/08/2026: Would give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely disgraceful service. We ordered food for my mam’s 60th birthday and waited over 2 hours without receiving it. After an hour and a half, we called and were repeatedly told the food was “with the driver”. We eventually called to cancel, only to be told the driver was outside the house — he absolutely was not. Another half an hour passed, despite the driver calling to say he was “a few minutes away”. We called again to cancel but nobody would answer, so we eventually had to text the driver to say the order was cancelled. Over 2 hours waiting for food that never arrived, on my mam’s birthday. Having since looked at the reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. Absolutely unacceptable and a complete disgrace.

26/07/2026: We went a couple of times during our stay in Dublin and the service was very friendly, the food was delicious and apart from the pizzas I recommend the wings.

02/08/2026: Recently attended a 30th birthday party , plenty of staff and finger food was delicious. Young dj playing on the night was brilliant catered music for all ages think his name was P DJ

23/07/2026: Let me start by saying we're not locals, so we don't know how it works. We went in, sat down, and after 10 minutes, we went to the bar to order, even though they passed us 10 times! Maybe that's how they do it in Ireland. Good beer, lots of noise, but live music was much appreciated!

26/05/2026: Got a takeaway this week. Really poor standard of food, just thrown together basically. Chicken quality was tough and noodles in the pad Thai were all broken up like they came from the end of a bag. If this was a sit down thai restaurant they would never put out this food the way it was presented to us. Definitely won't be going back.

04/05/2026: I have gotten food here a couple of times. Every time that I tried it I either had diarrhea or I was feeling like throwing up. Don't try the food. However, if you do decide to try it, please do so at your own risk.

25/02/2026: Standards are much lower than your typical chippy. Chicken fillet burger is kind of flavorless and dry. The so-called "taco beef chips" are really weird! Like tomato sauce with a small amount of mince, draped over chips. Not acceptable, especially not at €9.50. Rename them tomato mince chips instead, because that's what they are. Largely tasteless, too - and no cheese or taco sauce! Sausages are like they've been kept under heat for 3-days, wilted and dry. It's just all very sad and depressing! Clearly their best days are behind them and the owners really don't care what comes out. Not a chippy I can recommend to anyone, unfortunately!

01/09/2026: I was staying in the hotel across the road and was no where to get dinner to bring back to the room, paulista was across the road asked the girl what she recommended and it was the ribs pizza, so got that medium pizza and tin of coke €35 which is very expensive, got to the room it was one of the worst pizzas I have ever had it’s was greasy and not pizza base was all soft no crisp, when you took a bite you got mouth full of chewy cheese and very blane, had 2 slices as had to eat something as was my dinner and leave the rest as was uneatable, waste of money for poor food and quality. 🤢

30/08/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't think it was worth the €4 price per unit. The dough is very thick compared to the amount of filling, which I found quite small. In the end, the dough predominates much more than the filling, making the esfiha a bit heavy and lacking in flavor. For the price charged, I expected a much more generous amount of filling and a better ratio between dough and filling.

05/09/2026: Love the food here. Take away only and well worth it. Flavors are to die for.

28/08/2026: I got 2 “chicken kebabs” if that’s what you can call it. It was like rubber and it was hard and you couldn’t even chew it and it even smelled a bit off worst kebab i ever ate in my life would not come again.

06/09/2026: Chips were undercooked. If you can't get chips right in a Chipper - there's something seriously wrong. Ordered goujons and received wings. Everything was bland and just tasted of grease. The quality of the food was noticeably poor, will not bother with this place again.

21/08/2026: There is clearly no difference between a small bag of chips and large.So when you ask for a large bag of chips and pay for it you don't get it.Now I've asked for a small and it's been bigger than a large and the other way around.Due to this I never get what I want. as someone who hates onions I got a batter burger with a load of onions between the burger and batter.ive never eaten a batter burger since so i stick to chips now hence the 3 stars and the sometimes 20 min wait for a random sized bag of chips.
