26/12/2025: Reserved a takeaway bag on Stephen's day through an app. No phone number included in app, no matching cafe name could be found on Maps. Called only number available before and after arrival but this only connected to the main line for the "estate". Gates closed, completely locked up when I arrived. Wasted drive across the city.

25/11/2025: Everything was so wrong today in this restaurant. Nothing worse than paying for bad service and food was not up to scratch. There were four of us. One had butternut squash soup that was far too thick. No vegetarian sandwich choices although egg mayonnaise was on the board, they said it was a mistake. They toasted a small roll with cheese and caramelised onion in (they took the ham out)! My 86 yr old aunt tried to eat this, but it was far too hard for her. One other had a scone that was very small, had a sugared top and was way overcooked. You could break a window with it. €4:95 for the scone! Originally I had to call Someone to take our order. The hot drinks arrived first and we had finished them when we were still waiting on the food. I had to ask where our order was. I had to ask for water for the table, I had to ask for salt as 2 peppers on the table. There was a little cutlery holder on the table with 3 knives in it and about 10 forks. It was a table for 4. We complained and got a 10% reduction off our bill! First time there and unfortunately our last. Nothing worse than having to keep asking for attention and ending up with overpriced inedible food!

21/03/2025: Firstly - It has to be said that the staff are very pleasant. Unfortunately I had a "pizza" 🤢 - it was of a lower standard than a poor quality frozen supermarket pizza (actually, maybe thats what it was!) . Ingredients were poor quality, dough not properly made, nor was it cooked correctly. Quite overpriced for the standard. In short - it really was 'junk food'! Worst pizza I've ever had in Dublin.

05/02/2025: Crosbie Café is the best spot in Dublin. The service is amazing—everyone is incredibly friendly—and the quality of the food and drinks is excellent. Plus, it’s located in a place with stunning views, making the experience even better.

26/01/2026: Got a couple of very disappointing takeaways here. A honey sesame chicken which was sickly sweet and deep fried. And chicken cashew nuts which was watery and gross. Its cheap but that's for a reason.

11/02/2026: Issue with our online order, called the restaurant and Shreya handled everything immediately. 5 star service from Shreya, will order again from the restaurant due to her excellent customer service!

11/01/2026: Always a pleasure to order from here. Food is excellent and I must give a big shoutout to the lovely staff member Mariana, I hope I spelled her name correctly! Incredible customer service, she made my day when I was having a bad day!

08/12/2025: I recently bought a small hot chocolate drink from them, and I was asked if I want marshmallows… I said ‘yes, everything’, and when I check my bill, I was charged €2.25 extra, that’s 75c each for marshmallows, cream, chocolate chips. I think when they ask customers if they want any extra, they better ask like ‘would you like cream for extra 75 cents?’, just to make it clear.

01/11/2025: I can not confirm the bad reviews here. Every time I go, mostly Saturday and Sunday morning, I experience great service and good coffee. Nice place to hang out and get lost in a good book

11/11/2025: In room 6 and it was very difficult to see the movie. The emergency light at the entrance illuminated the screen, so it looked quite dark. Sound system was decent. Room was a bit cold. Staff and facilities were great.

16/12/2025: Staff very warm & welcoming. Restaurant Supervisor was smiling, friendly & attentive. Lovely decor and ambiance. Unfortunately, to our surprise, the food wasn’t very nice. Goats cheese & beet starter was served resembling a piece of pie. It didn’t appear to be freshly made and was somewhat dry. Fish & chips very poor quality. The cod was wafer thin, hard and basically a piece of batter. I’m almost sure the chips were cooked from frozen and not “homemade” prepared, as expected for the price. Beef was just ok but wasn’t finished due to the overly fatty content and off putting texture. Table bread and salmon starter was lovely and served fresh. We did not stay for dessert. The full amount paid was €120 for two persons, this included €10 tip for the service staff. In my opinion, it’s just not worth the money based on the overall quality of the meal served. Such a pity considering the performance we went to see was amazing. We could have eaten better elsewhere for 1/2 of the price. This was our first time to eat at this restaurant..

27/11/2025: Price of food quite disgraceful for a students eating area, especially considering it's cheap-tasting. Id you order anything for takeaway, they give you about half the amount you'd get if you're eating in, even though you're paying the same price. Drinks are worse, no cider on the student price menu, and cocktails/mixed drinks are watered down or barely any alcohol in them. Whenever anything brought up with main fella he's quite hostile/unfriendly. Pool tables that you need coins for but they don't offer cash back/coins.

16/03/2026: Don’t understand the hype unfortunately. Ate this right after it got handed to me. Chips were super soggy, battered sausage: the outer layer was not crispy at all, but sausage itself tasted good. Fish not bad was quite flaky and juicy, but batter some parts were fried too hard (not crispy but HARD), while other parts felt like not fried enough almost tasted like raw batter.

14/03/2026: Completely gone to the dogs now. Assemble line servicing at its best, staff barely speak a word if English , multiple visit have left items out of order. Chips are soggy, just cooked enough to be eatable and out the door on to the next order. I'd been coming for years at this point, but the last visit is and will be the last time I'd ever visit. The meal was a batter sausage (this was fine) and chips (soggy tasteless strips of potato at Monte Carlo prices) and would only recommend this place if you have a fist full of money to throw away and as a last resort would I recommend this. Great at one point. Desperate now. Pity management is entirely blind to see this.
