The best restaurants in Dublin

10/06/2026: Good local petrol station in Baldoyle and serving Sutton also. Well stocked shop with good selection of basic groceries and sweets. Petrol is priced slightly higher than in some nearby stations though.

05/05/2026: Wouldn’t give me a refund after putting 2€ in the service machine for air, wouldn’t work asked for a refund they said no because it worked for another guy.

26/07/2026: Beautiful cafe in the heart of Dublin. Loads of tables and chairs. Beautiful view overlooking O'Connell Street. Lovely Staff, great service. Food was tasty and serviced very nicely. No rush just hassle free dining. Nice spot to sit and relax before shopping.

30/06/2026: As a Brazilian, I loved so much the Irish food from here! Today I had: Beef stew🍲, mashed potatoes🥔, carrots🥕, and cabbage🥬. And for dessert, I had rice 🍚 pudding with strawberry 🍓 jam. Absolutely tasty 😋❤️‍🔥😍🥹

02/06/2026: The service is really very friendly, but that's about it. The food is mediocre and the prices are far too high. It's right next to Jameson, a clear tourist trap.

05/06/2026: Never in my life have I experienced such a terrible night out. 1 star is even too much to describe what happened. In the beginning people were really friendly. The cashier, the people at the bar, even the security guard on the side of the club were all nice. Then this happened: my friends walked down a stairs consisting of three steps and one guard started acting angry towards them because of ‘glasses on the stairs’. I was confused and asked him what the problem was. The guard started yelling at me: ‘Are you joking with me?’. I stayed calm and said ‘I am just asking what the problem is’. Then he said: ‘ You are joking with me, because your English is better than mine’. I was like: ‘okay I’ll just leave it then’ and started dancing again, just trying to have fun (you know the mood was kind of ruined, but alright). So he got really mad and called another guard. He held me at the spot and when the other guard arrived, I had to walk in front of them to the exit of the club (humiliation about nothing if you ask me). Once outside, another guard asked about the situation, told me to wait outside a minute and walked inside to never return again. This was humiliating again, because a civil conversation was not even an option. My friends and I were really bummed about this situation and this place. We spend a lot of money here and in return got treated like trash. We would not recommend it to anybody because of the aggressive guard, or the other guards that just choose to believe this one guard and won’t listen to normal conversation. I would not recommend going into a place like this. Thank you, next.

27/08/2026: food was alright ill give it that service was quite rude to me but did give me a couple cents of a sauce but also kinda overpirced and also there was no one else there it was extremely hot in there and it was sticky and it was quite and all the staff looked bored

20/06/2026: Place is far too hot, feels like 5 degrees hotter than outside. Can't see the screens properly due to brightness and glare, pretty horrible experience

26/08/2026: Food took hour and a half rang several times kept been told 10 mins , by time it came was cold , and ice cream ordered with deal was melted was told , its warm weather that happens and nothing could do for cold food , spent over 100 euro , was told they didnt like how we spoke after we had to ring multiple times and kept been told 10 mins , wouldnt order again

26/08/2026: Got a take away from this shop spent over 100 ordered at 515 didn't come till 645 rang a few times after 6 as it was ment to be here for 606 first time they said 10 minutes half hour later they said about 15 to 20 minutes when it eventually came food was cold and ice cream melted excuse was they give the food hot and it's hot weather so only natural icream will melt very cheeky attitude that was the manager and you can see the time it was expected at on the end of the receipt

22/08/2026: I was drawn in by the design but in truth there's no reason to pay three times the cost for the same amount and level of food as you're going to get from McDonald's or Burger King inside the giant mall right next to it. But the atmosphere is just great!

07/08/2026: Haven't had Eddie Rockets in years, my God how far it has fallen. The food was absolutely disgusting. The place was absolutely filthy. The only saving grace was the waitress, she was very friendly and good and removed some of the food from the bill as we hadn't touched it. Won't be back.

09/06/2026: Gave the cashier a twenty euro note and never got change back and called and was rudely told that she’s never wrong and would never do that definitely wouldn’t recommend here food tasted bland aswell

04/08/2026: Absolutely shocking from eddie rockets clarehall. Ordered online, food came cold and more than half the ordering missing, can not get through to the store with the phone numbers online. Drove up to the shop, place was empty explained and they remade the food, which they got wrong for a second time! Forgetting meals in our order, when I went back for a second time they told me the missing items were in the bag, eventually they got everything I had ordered, got home to eat and the quality of food was a disgrace, they clearly can’t follow instructions on my receipt asking for a plain burger. This place lacks simple instructions, communication and problem solving skills. I will never entertain an eddie rockets ever again unfortunately.

06/08/2026: 6 August. CHIPS SPICE BURGER. COKE. CHIPS LUKEWARM AT BEST. ASKED FOR S&V ON CHIPS BUT MOST WENT ON SPICE BURGER TO THE POINT IT WAS SOGGY AND INEDIBLE. 15 EURO WASTED. NEVER AGAIN.

12/07/2026: Local chipper (Teo's) in Cabra should be ashamed of themselves handing this amount of chips in a fish box after paying €16.25 for a fish box and a ¼ pounder.. Won't darken that doorstep again 😡😡 I cant upload the photo of the chips for some reason. I received about 10/15 chips in the box..

12/08/2026: I went in for a quiet drink after a walk with my mum, and we ordered two cocktails — a margarita and a strawberry daiquiri. Unfortunately, the strawberry daiquiri was very disappointing. As you would expect from a strawberry daiquiri, we expected it to be a frozen/blended drink. Instead, it came out with so much crushed ice that there was barely any drink in the glass. It was extremely watered down and really wasn’t what we had expected when ordering a strawberry daiquiri. The menu simply described it as containing strawberry purée, and there was no indication that it would be served this way or essentially be a glass full of crushed ice. I politely spoke to the young woman working behind the bar and explained that we were disappointed with the drink. Her response was essentially that “this is how we do it, on ice.” She didn’t offer to replace the drink, offer an alternative, or try to resolve the situation in any way. Unfortunately, I also found her manner quite rude and unhelpful. I’ve worked in hospitality for many years myself, and I understand that mistakes or customer complaints can happen, but I also know that how you handle the situation makes a huge difference. I wasn’t looking for anything unreasonable — I simply expected a little understanding and an attempt to resolve the issue. Overall, it was disappointing, particularly as we had only gone in for a quiet drink and were looking forward to enjoying the cocktails.

31/07/2026: Dreadful service - they're abrasive and pretends he doesn't show sport. Only because he has a dodgy box. Really aggressive owner. Not for me.

24/05/2026: They have a bar playing super loud edm and club music until 1am in the middle of the night. I went to the front desk to request for ear plugs. They told me they have ran out and there is nothing they can do. The guy at the front desk was not apologetic at all.

23/05/2026: Small room Bathrooms and toilets are dirty and neglected! The hallway stinks terribly! The bar staff is a disgrace. The location is good. Not recommended…
