06/10/2026: The service is fast; however, there were mistakes in the order. More importantly, even though there is a security service, there are still quite a few people under the influence of alcohol or drugs, some of whom were arrested by the police right on the spot. It feels like it’s a rather poorly frequented place. The McDonald’s staff are polite and professional, and it’s not their fault, but let’s say this isn’t the best McDonald’s to visit. On the other hand, in terms of the food, there’s no problem: the food is prepared properly, and there’s nothing to complain about there.

02/10/2026: Unfortunately, the dough was raw! I ordered a chicken and catupiry cheese pizza with a stuffed crust. The chicken was delicious, and so was the catupiry, but the problem was the raw dough. The crust was so thick that when I went to cut it, the inside was completely raw. I had to open the pizza and finish baking it at home to avoid ruining the pizza and my money.

28/05/2026: Hi, a person of 68yrs who has been a great supporter of Captain Americas through the years. Back in late 70's ,was nurse training in local area, 10 in the group & would have regularly gone for dinner in restaurant. After that ,visited often,when in Dublin cityh. My family would also have been regulars. My youngest Son, insisted on a visit with us ,before he emigrated to Canada on 2017. Captain Americas has been a big part of my life for many years. A lot of good memories. Sad to see it go, but hope new enterprise will be as good.

25/09/2026: Security at door wouldn’t let us in to get food at the start I feel very attacked and discriminated against because I am a child we explained we were getting food but he wouldn’t let us in together only one at a time to prove we were ordering he allowed other people to come in and didn’t stop them this is a terrible experience

15/10/2026: ⭐ Disappointing Sound Quality – Cineworld Cinemas, Dublin The screen and picture quality were good, but the sound system was extremely disappointing. The audio quality was very poor and fell far below expectations for a cinema. A good movie experience depends just as much on clear, powerful sound as it does on picture quality, and unfortunately, Cineworld failed badly in this area. The sound system seriously affected the overall viewing experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the audio quality. Good visuals alone are not enough when the sound quality is this poor.

05/09/2026: Waited nearly 2 hours for delivery. They kept assuring me the delivery was coming...eventually had to cancel. Dont waste your time.

I am a regular customer and I am always so impressed by how friendly, kind and welcoming all the girls are. The café is always clean, tidy and beautifully looked after, which makes every visit a real pleasure. I usually come with my children, and I honestly feel that the half an hour we spend together there, surrounded by such lovely staff and a warm atmosphere, is my little daily moment of relaxation. 06/10/2026: I’ve eaten here a few times before and never had any problems, but unfortunately after my most recent visit I became extremely unwell. I had a cheeseburger with meat, cheese, pickles, lettuce and the bun, with no sauce. Within a few hours of eating it I started feeling very sick, and I subsequently had vomiting, diarrhoea, feverishness and extreme weakness. I was essentially stuck in bed and unable to do anything normally for around two days. Obviously I cannot say for certain what caused it or whether it was the meat, another ingredient or contamination during preparation, but the timing was extremely concerning and this was one of the worst episodes of suspected food poisoning I have experienced. I won’t be returning after this experience. I genuinely hope the restaurant takes this seriously and reviews its food handling, preparation, storage and cooking procedures. For a healthy person this was bad enough, but for someone elderly, immunocompromised or otherwise medically vulnerable, an illness like this could potentially be much more serious. I had good experiences here previously, which makes this particularly disappointing, but food safety has to come first.

18/10/2026: Went in there for the first time before I started work to get a coffee and a muffin. When I looked over the muffins in front of the till (not behind the counter or in a closed display case) and picked one up I was told by the worker there "I was supposed to pick one up from behind the counter, please don't do it again" in a somewhat condescending tone. Now, the muffins are literally in front of the till where anyone could have picked it up without confussion, there are other cafes that do this. When I apologised for doing this, the worker then said it's fine but just that it's just very unhygienic. 1. I wouldn't have made the mistake if there was any indication of them only being on display to not touch and 2. I understand that it might have been early and it's work, but I simply don't understand the snobbery of being told in a round about way that I did something filthy like i'm a 5 year old when the display is open and in front of the till with no warning that they shouldn't be picked up. I won't be doing it again though as I won't be returning to this establishment.
