14/09/2025: Went in for lunch yesterday. We had to wait a bit to get a table, which was to be expected as it was quite busy. When we were finally seated, it took the waiters at least 15 minutes to take our orders. Our food arrived promptly after we ordered, however before our drinks had made it to the table. The tap water we had asked for and another drink we ordered was never brought out to us and no one stopped by the table to make sure everything was going okay. The food itself tasted good, although the portions were a little small for the price. When we wanted to pay it took us another 20 minutes to get someone’s attention to get the bill. I eventually had to just get up to ask the host for the bill not once but twice after waiting another almost 10 minutes after the first time asking. When the bill arrived, it included the drink item we had ordered but that was never brought out to us. After we made them aware that the item was included on the bill, they immediately removed it. Overall, the food was good, the ambiance was nice, but service was slow and lacking in urgency, while the staff remained friendly.

05/09/2025: The staff wasn't paying attention when we tried to order. Maybe because it was busy, but at 2 p.m. there were no sandwiches, no wraps, no quiche. Exactly what we wanted. Corona without lemon, with a glass. Fizzy lemonade came from a can. I expected fresh. With ice, even though we'd requested it without ice. A glass was brought, but never returned. The menu was missing the middle pages, so I thought certain items weren't available.

12/10/2025: Absolutely horrible cinnamon roll I saw the old comment and I trusted but was a huge disappointed

05/09/2025: Wasn’t expecting too much as the location is a standard hotel adjunct, but had the Thai curry that was one of the freshest tastiest ever had. Sometimes you have to look past the expectation.

27/10/2025: Needed a break from pub fare, and this place hit the spot. Delicious won ton soup and rice dishes.

12/08/2025: It's big let down me this year golden palace not because food it was because I was costumer ordered here long time loved there chipper then I rang order one day tell me only do card unfortunately my disability I have youse money I'm highlighting this because I found out bye law you still have youse cash now I can't order from here any more I really miss it so this not really fair we have always youse cars I only youse cash this wrong I'm really disappointed golden palace would do this like said food great I feel like this needs be put out there I wish they would go back cash for delivery not really fair

27/09/2025: The food is delicious, I prefer less black pepper, but it depends on personal taste. The atmosphere is pleasant and the waiters are also good.

22/09/2025: Place is scandalous with the portion size compared to the price I ordered the curry rolls and they where absolutely tiny no filling at all inside 50 euro for 3 scabby meals head to dangs around the corner for half the price

01/10/2025: I had a beautiful cup of tea and coffee and tea. I did pay 3.20 euro for it . The tea pot didn't spill any tea from the tea pot. I do think that the tea should be more expensive. The staff were so friendly to me. From a loyal customer.

04/05/2025: Fantastic little cafe, staff really friendly & knowledgeable. Such a treat to be able to get a decent & tasty gluten free sandwich! We will definitely return.

19/08/2025: Unreal tofu spice bag and 4 in 1! The curry and satay sauces are also so good. Delivered so quickly, and great value.

11/08/2025: Has to be the number 1 takeaway in Dublin. Best spice bag and vegan options which is rare!

13/11/2025: When I was there, it wasn’t a take away yet. I’m not a vegan, but on that particular evening I ate a vegan pizza and it was very tasty. The place was cozy and the service was very friendly.

18/07/2025: My 83 year old mother canceled an order 1 night and another night she couldn't get down the stairs fast enough to the door and hadn't credit to ring them back cause I was after ringing to order for her, so didnt no she didnt answer the door, i didnt get any phone call,,, so now won't deliver to her, 30 years living and ordering chippers from whatever new chipper takes over and this ignorant bxxxx gets on the phone as ignorant as she is then hangs up no thanl you goodbye nothing. She and myself will take our money somewhere else thank you.

20/10/2025: The only aspect that I found less than satisfactory was the food. It lacked flavor and did not seem to justify the cost. Other establishments in Blanchards offer a more appealing taste and a wider selection of dishes.

18/10/2025: Every time when we go there the prices increase, the portion getting smaller and smaller, the taste is getting worse. And the staff always changing and new ones, they are not friendly. On the last time we get the terrible food.

02/10/2025: The man who served me this morning was so rude. No hello,no please & no thank you! He very abruptly said "Your coffee's there!". Extremely unwelcoming & must not like his job. Coffee was lukewarm & the croissant was given on a wet plate. He also didn't bother to offer me the two free sweets for the two coffees that I ordered. I won't be returning. Hopefully this man can work on his customer service skills!
