03/12/2025: Their pizzas are done really well but I’d love to see more toppings / options available. They have a Sicilian option which is great but a bit of basil / pesto and a few extra toppings would go a long way! The pizza base is 5/5

24/11/2025: AVOID!!! If I could give no stars I would. Collected food on the way home from work. Got back home, which was a good drive away and as we ate kebabs we kept getting a funky taste. We then opened our kebab sauces and they stunk and tasted disgusting! The chilli sauce masked the smell of the spoiled garlic when mixed together, but it still smelled off! We had one mixed kebab sauce and another that wasn't mixed! Both were bad! We called the store to express this and they were no help to us. Argumentative and sending the girl on the till back and forth instead of getting onto the phone himself. They refused to send a driver to where we live as they were "TOO BUSY" told us to drive back down with it and as much as we didn't want to, we did, just to prove a point after much arguing over the phone. It was 9pm at night, only sitting down from a long day at work. Anyhow, we packed up the rest of the food including the kids food as they were half way through eating theirs and drove back to the shop where my partner was treated so poorly. They refused to give us any money back, let alone even try to offer more food (not that we'd have eaten it) 🤮 They offered us €5 for the sauce, after spending €40 and driving 20 minutes back to the shop with our horrible food that was inedible! Told them to keep their muck and we will more than likely have upset stomachs tomorrow! Disgraceful carry on and I've never ever came across customer service like it! His words were "what do you want me to do, I can give your food back and you can give it to someone!" The cheek! Bare in mind we've eaten from here many of times before when we lived closer by and never ever again will we eat from the kip! The manager/owner was rude, arrogant and in denial. He even tried to pass a sauce around the shop to ask customers to smell it! I wish I told him to dip his finger in and taste it! They cared more about money than their reputation! A holy show! There was no denying the smell and taste 🤢 Stay clear and go to macaris in tallaght village or castletymon if you want to be treated with excellent customer service and food! Shame on you DARIUS! Learn some manners & respect for customers. A family meal ruined! A waste of time & money, but couldn't have cared less! Update: Bed bound with food poisoning the next day! I can only imagine what goes on behind closed doors! 🤮

10/10/2025: Didn’t even explain about the food! The guy on the till explain the way sounds like dips are free but actually he charged for that! Not enough veg on the spice bag, chicken is very hard, and the potatoes are too dry and hard too. Over all taste is very poor.

30/06/2025: Pizza Hawaiian - ordered today 21:50. Came very quick, hot and fresh food but - no sauce so I don’t know if there is no sauce at all or they forgot to add and the base seems like without tomato sauce, pizza hot and fresh but very dry from the other side, the tomato sauce if was added seems like it vapour.

01/05/2025: I ordered through Uber Eats and tried their bestseller meal. Honestly, it was only worth about one-sixth of what I paid for it

17/05/2025: As someone new to town, I had this place recommended to me. I arrived late tonight, just 30 minutes before they closed. An older lady kindly explained their chef had already left. However, she was incredibly helpful and still managed to serve me. She offered me lasagna, and it tasted great! I ate quickly so they wouldn't have to stay open late for me, but she never rushed me and even kindly warned me it was very hot. At the register, she even gave me an Italian bread to take home and try. I'm so grateful for her kindness. It meant a lot to me and really made a difference.

05/05/2025: The pizzas aren't amazing, but they're good. They can be a great snack option.

15/09/2025: They have a variety of foods, cakes, breads, desserts, etc. I love the atmosphere because it's very calm, there's no pressure, and you can enjoy beautiful views. The staff is very friendly and patient. I love going there for breakfast and different drinks ☕️

09/08/2025: A lovely cafe at Rathfarnham Castle. We sat at a table overlooking the beautiful grounds. The display of food looked so fresh and appetising and we enjoyed our choice immensely. Thank you to a charming young lady, (who seemed to be new and training) that looked after us very efficiently. Such a hidden gem. Will definitely return

21/10/2025: I was there yesterday and I asked Gustavo for a coffee just and basically he explained everything for me and it was very helpful! Thank you Gustavo you were amazing.

21/11/2025: An absolute dump!! What used to be one of the best bars in Dublin has been ruined. Stay away...

14/11/2025: DO NOT GO HERE. I went in with three friends — they ordered beers, and I just wanted water as I was the designated driver. We waited ten minutes for their drinks, and once we finally sat down, a staff member came over and rudely told us that “everyone must buy a drink.” I explained I wasn’t drinking, wasn’t staying long, and was the driver, but he just repeated the same line, “everyone must buy a drink.” Not once was this policy mentioned before ordering, and there is zero signage on the door or anywhere inside. When we said we’d prefer a refund and would leave, he walked away and another equally rude staff member marched over and repeated the same script. I explained again that I wasn’t paying €5 (or whatever they charge) for a glass of water, especially when we were never informed of this so-called policy. To make things even more uncomfortable, he then patrolled the pub and stared at us making us feel uncomfortable. And honestly, you really get the sense that this “everyone must buy a drink” rule is being drilled into staff by a controlling, miserable boss. The place is so dark that it’s hard to believe it’s for “ambience”… it feels a lot more like the owner is simply too tight to pay for proper lighting.

13/08/2025: Ordered take out. The food was surprisingly tasty. Didn't expect to get authentic taste of Chinese food in Ireland. And the portion is quite big too. Worth every penny.

11/08/2025: Ordered a spice bag with spring roll. Safe to say it was well seasoned and absolutely delicious. It wasn’t too crowded so the service was quick. The server was super friendly.

13/11/2025: Such a huge potential but wasted on not having proper extraction fans and ventilation - every time I pop in there for five minutes to buy something, I exit with a smelling strongly as a deep fried chicken nugget. Also, so many mislabelled promotions, often end up paying the original price at the till, manager(s) nowhere to be found and the staff are clueless and not even apologizing. There's many good things here - the salad/hot food bar, the butcher, the overall selection of rare to find and gourmet products - but the above points should be improved.

05/11/2025: It looks shop is understaffed, shelves were empty. One staff member obviously supper stressed was trying to fill some racks, I didn’t dare to ask for what I was looking for.

21/12/2025: Great shop, lovely staff they’re always so friendly and welcoming, especially the lads at night time

18/12/2025: The two young lads working in the maxol here are the nicest & kindest men ever, they have helped me with my car on two separate occasion’s all while running back into the shop to serve the customers coming in. So kind and helpful I would purposely come to this garage to get my petrol solely because of them. 10/10

22/12/2025: Horrible experience with my family in the drive through this evening left myself short of a big mac and two staff rummaged through my food to find it then they couldn't find it they find chicken nuggets that was put in the bags instead of my big mac got back the nuggets and replaced it with a big mac this whole operation took 10 minutes while customer s were beeping my family and order was violated...

21/12/2025: Food was fine but I was missing items from the Drive thru and it was too busy to go back and queue again. A bit sly to not include all the items.
