03/12/2024: Amazing southern fried fillet burger. Really nom

01/12/2024: Still searching for a good chipper in Dublin. I ordered delivery from Marsellas last night. To start off - the food took over 1 hour to be delivered and I live about 1km from the shop. I wanted to cancel the order after 30 mins but the phone was constantly engaged. Foodwise - Ordered Chips with curry. The chips were great but the curry sauce was bland, had no taste. The garlic mushrooms were tiny and had no garlic sauce in the delivery. The battered sausage was tasty, have no fault with it. The worst part of the order was the burger - this spot really needs to up their burger game, it was tiny and cost 7.20e. There should have been a proper Irish breadedchicken breast in there instead of processed flat chicken, looked like nuggets and also the salad amount was tiny. I won't be giving them my money again. Embassy Grill is still the best chipper I've had in Dublin, if anyone knows anywhere else on the southside that's good, please reply!

02/01/2025: Vegan Donuts are amazing!!! The first thing is they are large 😄 second thing is they are tasty :) and third thing they are fresh! Proper Donuts!!!

19/11/2024: I will say that this cute cafe offers something that is hard to find in Dublin 1. Having said that 17€ for 2 coffees and 2 stale pastries, along with a very cheeky request for a 20% tip BEFORE any service has been provided will make me think again about returning

18/11/2024: Great spot for coffee and sandwiches! The coffee was perfectly brewed, and the sandwiches were fresh and flavorful. A simple yet satisfying place to grab a quick bite. Definitely worth a visit!

13/12/2024: The friendliest staff and atmosphere!! The WiFi wasn’t the best and the area for the day pass is a little bit small but other than that couldn’t recommend the place more.

05/12/2024: 5 stars. For takeaway chipper food they are really good. Nice fresh chips. Good battered sausage too. Service and atmosphere are exactly what you expect from a drop in takeaway chip shop.

29/12/2024: I loved this place when I was in DFEi, me and my college friends would often come here after class. It always had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff which was something we thought we would be getting upon our return to Buck Mulligans but I couldn’t be more wrong. When I went up to the bar, I was greeted by a bartender who wasn’t behind the bar. When I gave her my order she refused to serve me because apparently I was wearing a tracksuit. I explained to her that I wasn’t wearing a tracksuit and that I was wearing elasticated waisted trousers but still she wouldn’t budge and I wasn’t getting served. However, one of her friends was wearing a tracksuit and was getting served. I would appreciate if I can get an answer to this. Are elasticated waisted trousers considered tracksuit bottoms now??!

20/12/2024: Potentially one of the best pubs in dun laoghaire. But to get to the bar and be told that there are only limited beer taps working and you can only choose for the one ones that don't have plastic cups over them ( which are hard to see ) . The atmosphere was brilliant, and live music rocked. This industry needs more places like it but gives us choices and away from Guinness and Heineken products.

16/05/2024: the worst customer service, phone broke, don't empathise with the customer issues, ( i ordered a vegan pizza, they dont have the option to add extra vegan cheese but they have the other ones, i added regular cheese as extra and called the restaurant to tell them that the vegan pizza with extra cheese is extra vegan cheese, but they failed with logic, added the cheddar, they didn't want to accept that their phone didn't work when i constantly called them after ordering, the guy was saying hello hello and hanged up the call, they finally got their phone fixed and got my call to tell me their excuses and forgot that i was the customer and tried to deliver something i didn't want to pay for and i did what i was supposed to to get my extra vegan cheese delivered) right after at 2am the delivery guy come to my street, the guy that got paid more than he should because the guy lacked empathy as well and never parked the car in a easy no way out street and made me without shoes, and pejamas with him in his uniform and with no cars around at 2 am in my no way out street but as he knew i was "a difficult customer " as i called them about the cheese and the guy played superiority to make me cross the street instead of him doing his job that is deliver at the door. very unsatisfied with customer srrvices which should be a good one atbany shop focusing on customer needs and requests but they are unhappy people working in a place that they dont care for their customers, so i decided never to order anymore this energy in my food , and tell all my friends that order with them my tonight's experience.

13/12/2024: I recently visited Supermac/Papa John in blackrock and was quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the area. Despite there being no other customers around, the staff seemed completely uninterested in cleaning the tables. There were dirty trays, napkins, and food crumbs scattered across several tables. It was really off-putting, and I couldn’t understand why they weren’t taking a few minutes to tidy up, especially when the restaurant was not busy. If they cant simply clean up the front imagined whats happening behind the counter. I’ve been to other fast food places where staff is actively maintaining the dining area, even when it’s quiet. It’s basic customer service, and it made the experience feel unwelcoming. I hope management can address this issue, as cleanliness is an important part of any dining experience. I’ll think twice before coming back again unless I see some improvement.

17/12/2024: Went there only for a few drinks at the bar and for Karaoke with my boyfriend and some friends, amazing atmosphere, the staff that were looking after the karaoke have an amazing energy.

16/05/2024: Went to the one in dundrum and had 2 young girls begging the counter who proceeded to talk amongst themselves and didn’t engage once during the order. Honestly was more like hassle and an interruption for them. Disappointing as we always go on the regular and now have now been put off going back

31/12/2024: Food is always made quickly, fresh and hot. Never any issues, good classic local Chinese

20/12/2024: Very very friendly staff, HUGE portions and really competitively priced .......... the food itself is always spot on flavour wise ......... this is our Saturday night takeaway of choice and have it weekly, never been disappointed.

29/07/2024: Don't know from where the positive ratings do come from!? It took almost 15min before someone came to take my order. I had a drink, starter and main course which came after another 40min... except the drink which I had to remind them and then was brought after I was half through my meal. The chicken Masala was ok but not really tasty. The Nan bread was dry and more like a carton. The waitress was not unpolite but very distant w/o a smile in her face (perhaps she had a bad day!?). Also the ambience of the restaurant was not really comfortable. At least it was long ago since I've been at such disappointing restaurant. The only thing on the positive side was the prices which are low compared to Dublin level.

13/08/2024: I recently visited this coffee place and ordered a matcha with coconut milk. What I received was essentially just milk with a faint green tint. When I kindly asked them to remake it, the second attempt was slightly greener but still tasted like plain milk. It was incredibly disappointing. I won't be returning.
