The best restaurants in Dublin

25/09/2025: Had the worst experience of any pub I've ever been in. The barman suffers from small angry man syndrome, he was extremely rude to myself and my friend, what makes it worse was that the owner was serving customers next to us. The barman has obviously forgot the meaning of a public house and would need to change his attitude or job, he clearly is not enjoying it.

20/09/2025: Unfriendly .. without any reason stopped giving out drinks. After asking for the manager, conversation was stopped..

03/03/2026: They changed staff, it’s more nice right now, satisfied my request about made my burger more hot, classic music inside it’s my favourite, creates harmony and calming, thank you☺️

24/02/2026: This system is clearly not working properly. Orders are being marked as “ready” and even removed from the screen when they are not actually ready. Customers are then left standing there for another 5–7 minutes, unsure whether anyone even remembers their order. If “Please Collect” appears before the food is genuinely ready to be handed over, it is misleading and creates unnecessary confusion. It looks like an attempt to artificially improve service time metrics rather than provide honest, efficient service. Either the system should reflect the real preparation status, or the process needs to be reviewed. Otherwise, it simply damages trust and creates frustration for customers.

21/02/2026: Went to the restaurant this morning for breakfast, was quite busy, as we walked in to have a look for a free table, a waitress, aggressively shouts as she’s marching up towards us “tables outside”. I looked at my husband and we walked out. That’s no way to speak to customers. Manners and attitude goes along way in hospitality. We would have breakfast quite a lot here but never again after this morning.

14/02/2026: This place is really nice ,a amazing wave pool,waterslide ,lane pool,bubble pool and lazy river but i would recomend operating the waterslides a bit more and for longer but they were still so funthe rest of it is amazing

14/01/2026: Food was nice and hot when it arrived. We got a breast of chicken curry, chicken fried rice box, chips, fried noodles and chicken balls. All really good but the chicken balls were the pick of what we ordered, a little on the expensive side but its worth it. 40-45 mins delivery on a Saturday evening is very good too.

10/01/2026: Charging for extra for everything gone far to expensive much better value and better quality out there

06/02/2026: Closing time is advertised as 22.00 Arrived at 21.55 - doors closed, security guard turned his back and two male staff behind the tills waving their arms indicating closed and no service

09/01/2026: Great collection, but extremely rude staff. Their internet stopped working while I was standing in the queue to pay, and they asked everyone to get cash. When I told them that I didn't have any cash, the staff literally snatched my sandwich from my hand instead of giving me the option to wait or consider alternatives.

26/02/2026: I ordered once from here many years ago for the first time and was not impressed. I said to give it another try and i ordered a spice bag.Well very disappointed, no chicken at all, just 2 small pieces both of them together the size of a normal goujon.Taste was ok but for €12 i would expect more than just potatoes

18/12/2025: The two young lads working in the maxol here are the nicest & kindest men ever, they have helped me with my car on two separate occasion’s all while running back into the shop to serve the customers coming in. So kind and helpful I would purposely come to this garage to get my petrol solely because of them. 10/10

17/12/2025: Simply amazing, any time I visit Dublin, its a must stop if you are looking for quality burgers, the seating is ok, not very flashy but still looks nice. Staff is polite and quality no doubt is great. Halal Menu

10/12/2025: The burgers there are really tasty, but the pizza is so-so. I ordered delivery and they almost didn't give me any pineapple, even though I asked for it, and they gave me water instead of Coke.

21/02/2026: Very disappointed with my Crispy Chicken Sandwich from Burger King today. I paid €7.95 and received a burger that looked rushed and poorly assembled — just one tiny slice of tomato and messy presentation. Definitely not the quality or value you expect for this price. Please improve your standards and consistency.

29/01/2026: Like all burger kings they have a non vegan vegan burger. They scam people by lying about suitably for people with dietary restrictions. They think theyre fine just bc they hide behind some small print. The large print should matter too. Unkind staff. Asked to leave.

01/02/2026: food was really yummy and hot. but the service was terrible. one girl shirley was very rude and had a lot of attitude. she was hurrying me up and she was not respectful when i was ordering. terrible service from her. other than that it was a very nice experience. she was also on a call talking to people while we were waiting to be seated.

17/01/2026: I only went there to collect delivery but the girl on the till is extremely rude, she literally talks via video call while FOH, technically some customers might not feel comfortable being seen on camera and as myself working in food industry for 10 years that is unacceptable! Even to me felt like I’m about to steal the package 😅 I’ve delt fair share with drivers and they are sometimes the worst but made me feel like I’m gonna run and steal one burger! She was also little unfocused towards work as FOH should be creating atmosphere nice for customers! Surroundings dirty which I think FOH need to be responsible for and again phone on video while serving customers! I usually don’t write these things as I think it can be seen and fixed by owner or manager but seems like management here is not the greatest! Please rethink employees and management gets paid for work which is needed to be done to keep customers happy!

22/12/2025: I ordered from the menu, and it’s genuinely one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had. The food is absolutely delicious—keep it up!

11/02/2026: Issue with our online order, called the restaurant and Shreya handled everything immediately. 5 star service from Shreya, will order again from the restaurant due to her excellent customer service!

11/01/2026: Always a pleasure to order from here. Food is excellent and I must give a big shoutout to the lovely staff member Mariana, I hope I spelled her name correctly! Incredible customer service, she made my day when I was having a bad day!

18/10/2025: Chilli spicy chicken wings are not what they should be.....just onions and very salty wings .....really poor and just served in a bag , no taste and no effort to flavor the chicken ....unfortunately the House special was bad aswell.....way too sweet .....it's my third time here .....next time it's beans on toast and nothing from this place......2/10....shocking lazy food 😡😡😡😡😡😡

20/11/2025: Went in for a coffee this morning and kind of horrified at my experience. Barista used a jug with milk still in it from previous customer, didn't rinse it, so mixed fresh cold milk with already steamed milk. I can understand doing that MAYBE when in a rush and under pressure but there were no customers after me so no excuse for using dirty equipment and old milk. This is considered really bad practice and depending on how bad the cleanliness standard of the jugs are, possibly against HACCP if they are routinely letting the same milk be reheated over and over. After I very reluctantly took a sip of my coffee it wasn't very warm and I turned around and went back in, apologised and explained that my coffee wasn't very hot. I normally wouldn't complain about something like that but I was kind of hoping for a fresh coffee that was made with new milk and a clean jug, Barista apologised and to my absolute horror, poured my coffee in its entirety back into the dirty jug and steamed the coffee. This is terrible practice and my coffee tasted disgusting, couldn't drink it and had to throw it away. I thought maybe I was being dramatic so I told a friend and they were also horrified at the lack of standards for cleanliness and product quality.

19/11/2025: Disappointing! I was looking forward to have a lovely flat white and I went yesterday to order one. Barista was so slow and flat white was cold. I had to threw it away. Not worth it for 3.95 🤯

23/09/2025: Awful experience, they say to install their app for a free coffee. After buying the coffee they put me to pay as there was no voucher available in the freshly installed app. The staff told me that the promotion is over and in their liffet is saying clearly that on the 30.09.25 expires. I won't go to any nero cafe ever again

14/09/2025: On sunday you might see only a member of the staff and of course long q and slow service. Oh, ya, one more thing to mention, you' ll see lots of tables with cutlery, cups and other left overs by customers. A big let down in relation to clean.
