31/07/2025: We really enjoyed X Spice, its tasty dished like the Hot Box and its friendly owner and staff. Sadly it closed permanently this month.

21/05/2025: I've been coming here for 4 years about 3 or 4 times a week, the staff here are lovely and so kind. Today there's been a violent incident that the security guard yelled at a young mother. This was clearly an act of racism. It was very disappointing to see that this individual created a disgusted atmosphere in this lovely coffee shop.

13/03/2026: On 23/02 at about 8.30pm my adult daughter purchased a chicken spicebag with sweet and sour sauce at Millenium 2 Castleknock. Her previous meal had been lunch at 1pm on the same day. At about 11.30pm she was violently ill with projectile vomiting, severe stomach pain, diarrhea and cold sweats which lasted for several hours. Although she was not fully recovered the next day, the main symptoms had eased. We have reported the matter to the relevant authorities. Please draw your own conclusions, and proceed with caution.

05/10/2025: I got a 3 in 1 from here tonight and it claimed to have curry sauce on it so I was in awe when I opened the box to see little to none. The chips in it were uncooked and absolutely foul tasting. I began eating anyway because I was very hungry but now have an unsettling feeling in my stomach. I am very disappointed and will not be returning. (Don’t order here unless you want to get let down)

23/01/2026: Spice bag wasn’t good. Chips were from frozen and tasted really powdery and dry. They only had onion, no peppers. Overall the spice bag was dry and the chicken was okay but dry. Wouldn’t get again. Was really quick though! 5 mins. €9

29/03/2026: Some items like the McMelt were unavailable, and some of the ordering machines were broken, but overall it was standard McDonald's.

03/03/2026: Ordered my food at 19:11 and it’s now 21:13 no sign of food rang after an hour said it was in the way rang again and said they are waiting in a driver DISGRACE!!!!!

31/01/2026: Worst experience I ever had I placed an order it took almost 2 and half hour for the first time I saw that a delivery will take more than two hours The shop was too near less than a kilometer I ring three times but still took that much time and than I cancelled the order was totally hungry😪,,, totally disappointed and a very very bad experience

13/01/2026: Went here with our dog and the staff took great care of us; providing a water bowl and snacks. Food was delicious and the chips were surprisingly good (not something I ever comment on).

05/01/2026: This establishment was once my favourite place to get takeaway from, but this has dramatically declined in the last few months. Very disappointed with the quality of the food. Chips mushy and cold, chicken burgers resembled a hockey puck you could smash a window with. Staff extremely rude with no atmosphere in the shop. Don't know if it's changed ownership or what but I definitely won't be returning.

28/12/2025: i got a kebab tray,but they put lettuce instead of red cabbage so it wasn’t great. red cabbage would have been much nicer. the onions where sliced really small, where as on a kebab they’re usually half moons. they mixed the garlic and chilli sauce which wasn’t the best either. so it wasn’t really a kebab tray, more of a chip and lettuce tray. took ages to arrive as well. delivery man was very nice though

30/09/2025: I have never had burnt naan bread and yellow daal makhni in my life. Attaching photos.Chef will have the decency atleast to cook the naan again , if it was burnt. Worst Indian food experience in Dublin. I think the restaurant is not even Indian. Its just named indian

14/11/2025: Phoenix a staff member went above and beyond to help me with a last minute order of fifty cupcakes-she was such a lovely lady and extremely efficient and kind

08/10/2025: The coffee was great but the server Javi was very rude to us and overcharged the women beside us. It was not busy so the attitude was ridiculous.

23/01/2026: The food was just fine overall. I was pretty disappointed with how watery the sauce was — I prefer it thicker and more gloopy, with a bit more bite and chew. Because it was so liquidy, it didn’t really mix well with the noodles, and it felt like there wasn’t much sauce clinging to them. The flavour was okay, but it mostly tasted like MSG — tasty enough in that classic takeaway way, but not much depth beyond that. Portion sizes were decent, though it could have used more noodles. It did the job, but nothing stood out, and I’ll probably be waking up very thirsty tomorrow morning. Overall, it was fine, just not something I’d rush back for. Pic of leftovers attached! 17/10/2025: First time eating from this place never again. Rice was hard like it had being cooked ages ago. Got my food home to discover that there was no prawn crackers in the bag. The food was all ready eaten before they arrived with the prawn crackers.

01/01/2026: We had some subway cookies, they where a cold and a bit hard. Overall fine

20/11/2025: We stopped at this place for a quick bite and were lucky enough to meet Diego, a very friendly and helpful Argentinian guy.

25/02/2026: Great experience today at Avoca, the food was wonderful and the staff friendly. Definitely recommended!!

06/02/2026: The food is great! I had the run-of-the-mill breakfast, which includes all the Irish morning favorites. The toast with the jam went well with the black pudding. Freshly squeezed orange juice, so delicious. The only reason this place doesn't receive 5 stars is that, as others have mentioned, the wait staff can be preoccupied and slow to take an order or refill water. The quality is great, but this will come at a cost. Not sure if Dublin is expensive, or if it's this place, a tourist two cents.
