Sadly it closed permanently this month.

28/09/2025: Place was pretty enough. It’s inside a hotel. I chose it cuz it was close to my hotel and I was tired from travelling. Waitress was lovely. I chose a Caesar salad that tasted nothing like any Caesar I’ve had before and onion rings that dropped grease when I squeezed them, and were inedible once they had cooled. ll in all the most disappointing meal I had in my five days in Ireland.
21/09/2025: We ordered fish and chips. They looked fabulous but the chips were inedible. I prefer chips to still have some of their original potato recognisable in them. These were overcooked and really dry. The batter on the fish was very thick. Not light. First time in Ireland so may be a local preference but was not enjoyable to we Aussies who are probably spoiled for choice at home. The best thing about the meal was the impeccable service and the hot chocolate.

18/10/2025: Disappointing experience at Pizza Hut!
We ordered 2 large pizzas and we were only able to eat 2 slices each. The rest ended up in the bin.
The pizzas we ordered were dry, hard, and far from the quality we've come to expect from Pizza Hut. Our previous experiences with Pizza Hut have always been great, with fluffy, moist crusts. Unfortunately, this location didn't meet those standards. Unless they revamp their recipe or cooking process, I'd advise against wasting your money.
04/10/2025: Really good pizza! Delicious dough with a good amount of toppings! One of my favorites so far.

29/10/2025: I've been here many times, always delicious food and coffee, and fantastic service. I was there yesterday with my grandsons. The 5 year old got a burger from the kids menu and loved it, it looked delicious I was hoping he'd leave some, he didn't!! The fussy 3 year old had sausages and also didn't leave a crumb. French toast and mini breakfast for the adults also perfect, coffee is always hot and delicious too.

15/03/2026: So so disappointed tonight. I ordered our food at 17.53, it arrived 2 and a half hours later. I knew they were busy but this is a totally unacceptable wait time. It was quite frustrating as we were phoning to check on an update re delivery time and could not get an answer … we ended up being hangry. When the food arrived it was lovely but they should not have taken our order if they could not deliver in a reasonable time. Won’t be ordering Mint Cottage again … Sadly

I’m a regular to the mint cottage and I ordered delivery for tonight- mother’s Day and my birthday!!!
I’m waiting 2 hours now!!!!
My family have given up and ordered pizzas and I’ve tried to ring them 22 times in the last 45 minutes!!
NOT ANSWERING THE PHONE!!!!
If you can’t provide a service, DONT DO IT!!!!!

01/03/2026: Their food is nice but unfortunately it took two full hours exactly for our order to arrive last night. Their phone was constantly engaged, when it did eventually arrive at 9.45 there wasn't even an apology. We order many takeaways from Kimmage and Terenure and unfortunately Mr Chen is the only place that we've ever had these disastrous delivery experiences. That was out last time ordering there.

25/09/2025: Had the worst experience of any pub I've ever been in. The barman suffers from small angry man syndrome, he was extremely rude to myself and my friend, what makes it worse was that the owner was serving customers next to us. The barman has obviously forgot the meaning of a public house and would need to change his attitude or job, he clearly is not enjoying it.
20/09/2025: Unfriendly .. without any reason stopped giving out drinks. After asking for the manager, conversation was stopped..

25/04/2026: Wish I could give this place zero stars! Ordered delivery from the Hilton and they either gave the order to the wrong person or most likely never delivered. After speaking with the store, they stated it was out for delivery even though the app said delivered.
All things considered, I smell a scam!!!!! Avoid this place at all costs. It has terrible reviews for a reason.

19/04/2026: Ordered a margherita pizza and when I got home the pizza was actually completely different than what ordered. I called them and for my surprise, they said I had to go back to the shop to have a refund. That’s completely unfair given that it wasn’t my mistake. Shame on you 4 star pizza
