The best restaurants in Dublin

17/03/2026: Seems a few have this issue. Ordered from the cafe on Just Eat. They accepted it and then 15 minutes later, they cancelled. Avoid them!

12/02/2026: Lovely deli food , spreadable pudding on the breakfast roll, good chicken fillet roll and the vanilla cream slices are great . Lovely spot , great value too

21/06/2026: Its so good actually. I had the crispy chicken bacon king and the chicken was so juicy. And the fries with bacon and cheddar? Beatifull. And they were fast making It too.

02/06/2026: The burgers were of very poor quality. The beef patties were completely overcooked and burnt, and the cheese was not even melted. The food looked and tasted as if no care had been taken in its preparation. To make matters worse, we were charged extra for 1 small portion of mayonnaise that we requested, despite already paying for our meals. This felt unreasonable and disappointing. both my son and I felt unwell for the rest of the evening and had a very unpleasant night afterwards. Overall, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we have had. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

18/11/2025: The best caramel macchiato in all of Ireland. The cashier's friendly service, with her smile and big eyes, made you feel very comfortable. I only went twice, but I hope to return when I come back to Dublin from Argentina.

30/09/2025: STAFF wear their aprons to the public toilets. I’ve seen it twice now.

30/03/2026: This ist an old, traditonal irish pub not quite in the Center of Dublin. Very friendly people there on both sides of the bar. Low- to midpriced.

05/07/2026: No atmosphere, service is terrible, eventually left without ordering, not much of a system unless its just rude patrons that get served first.

27/06/2026: Paying over €5 for this is insane, only put cream cheese on one half of the bagel, was extremely dry.

27/04/2026: This is regarding a pathetic experience which we had after ordering pizza from this outlet. Not only the 1st delivered pizza was smashed and missing topping, the second one came with pesto sauce covered to this core that this pizza is unable to eat. I have the call recordings to which I talked with apparent manager, she was very rude. I called them to let them know if this is how they put the pesto sauce, to which she replied yes. Very concerning to know how they treat customers, who pay their hard earned money for food. I will be adding the picture below as proof. Never order from this outlet.

19/04/2026: Have been ordering from here since I moved to tallaght 3 years ago. Food always hits the spot but tonight's battered sausage and chips were even better than usual. Highly reccomend.

29/01/2026: First time ordering Indian from here yesterday and I’m seriously impressed! Food is class, full of flavour and proper portions. Everything arrived hot && fresh, couldn’t fault it. Will definitely be ordering again!!!

27/12/2025: I always order Saag Paneer from this place coz it's really nice. But last night I ordered a saag paneer main portion, there were only 6 tiny pieces of Paneer in it, used to get big chunks of paneer previously. I was disappointed, as I couldn't enjoy the full meal without paneer in it. Won't be buying from here again.

28/04/2026: First time getting take away from here. It was dreadful got House Special Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice and Salt and Chilli ribs starter. The Rice dishes had no flavour very bland. The House Special Fried Rice had the tinest bit of chicken, prawn and peas no beef, pork or other veg. The Salt and Chilli ribs were good but it was a extremely small portion. Very disappointing won't be back!

15/02/2026: I don’t know what to say other than disappointing. The prices are crazy for what you get given the quality is no better than a typical Chinese takeaway. The spring rolls were strange to say the least. Wasn’t able to tell how fresh the veg in them were. The garlic and black bean fillet beef was nice but no way was it fillet beef. The chilli beef was good too but very deep fried to the point you couldn’t taste beef and just deep fried batter. The worst thing we got at our table was the salt and chilli chicken, it was absolutely disgusting. And for nearly 30 euro - it was daylight robbery. The chicken itself didn’t look like chicken and it was drowning in oil. For the same price, I could have dined at a top restaurant in the city centre. Overall, really disappointing.

08/12/2025: I recently bought a small hot chocolate drink from them, and I was asked if I want marshmallows… I said ‘yes, everything’, and when I check my bill, I was charged €2.25 extra, that’s 75c each for marshmallows, cream, chocolate chips. I think when they ask customers if they want any extra, they better ask like ‘would you like cream for extra 75 cents?’, just to make it clear.

01/11/2025: I can not confirm the bad reviews here. Every time I go, mostly Saturday and Sunday morning, I experience great service and good coffee. Nice place to hang out and get lost in a good book

07/05/2026: Tiny portions. I got this on 50% off on Uber Eats and still felt really hard done by. I got the quarter aromatic duck (about €14 on Uber eats).. it came with five... FIVE pancakes! Even though the portions were tiny, I still had to eat most of it without pancakes just loose because they only give you FIVE. These cost literally CENTS, and they still only give you five. Surely this is the cheapest part of the meal... you'd think they wouldn't be so ridiculous with it. Wouldn't order again based on this alone. Too much of a gamble. Chicken balls were DISGUSTING. Tasted like soap.

27/06/2026: Walked in and ordered a Mexican melt and a cappuccino. The lady said you need to order over there and pointed at the floor tile beside the one I was standing on. Then a man came in behind me and ordered a sandwich and they started to make it. I was skipped even though I ordered first so I just left. I think the man who came in after me but was served before me was the same nationality as the ignorant woman behind the counter. I walked out without being served and I won't be back. I buy nice rolls from the deli in SuperValu beside this shop and they're much better than O'Brien's sandwiches

25/06/2026: O'Briens, Lucan Shopping Centre - €12 for a toasted ham and cheese sambo to takeaway - asked for mayo, got none, or at least little enough that it dissappeared into the bread. Sandwich was dry. I got the last slice of one loaf, which was hard at the corners, and the first slice of a new loaf. One slice of ham, one slice of cheese. Still in shock at the price - I considered leaving it there when I heard the price, but felt that would be wasteful. Never again - there is no justification for that price for a sandwich. O'Briens dont bother to respond to their reviews which is telling.

19/11/2025: I tried the mixed sweets and Gulab jamuns - both were absolutely amazing. I have a favorite sweet shop India, and I was surprised to see the same quality and delicious taste here. I have eaten from many popular sweet shops Dublin, but this place is really different. The taste, freshness and authenticity are excellent. I recommend everyone to try it!

19/11/2025: I had some cakes, and a variety of sweets like barfi and mithai. Everything was delicious, and it’s the best I have had in a long time.

03/07/2026: Myself and the family Love the pizza here. Always cooked to a high standard and ready in time. The staff are extremely friendly, especially Robbie who greets us with a smile. Highly recommend ordering from this Pizza Hut.
