The best restaurants in Dublin

17/03/2026: Seems a few have this issue. Ordered from the cafe on Just Eat. They accepted it and then 15 minutes later, they cancelled. Avoid them!

12/02/2026: Lovely deli food , spreadable pudding on the breakfast roll, good chicken fillet roll and the vanilla cream slices are great . Lovely spot , great value too

27/02/2026: Kabo box horrendous quality food!! Feel so sick never again don't get the hype of this place! So expensive also paid a fortune for lots of chunky chips 🤢

10/02/2026: Love this place staff are so nice and friendly. They will answer any questions you have regarding allergies and ingredients etc. I just love the way they come up with new dishes and especially getting to try them out before there even on the menu. My favorite is the spice bag and the chow meins. Portion sizes are very big so well worth the money.

18/07/2026: This kip has consistently gotten orders wrong like forgetting to put sauce or missing food like a box of nuggets that are all paid for. This happens so often I felt the need to post this. I normally don't complain much and it’s also a McDonald. I dont expect best service and best food but for crying out loud how hard is it to put food into a bag while reading from a list. My 7 yo daughter can do a task like that. I don't know how they train or manage the staff but there is a massive issue. Seeing other reviews it really shows this is a consistent issue. Incompetence on every level. Management will never read this but I recommend to avoid this McDonald especially if you are going through drive through.

09/07/2026: This pub is being ran into the ground by the SON of the joint/co owner. to many staff behind a small bar falling over each other and even the SON has tripped his father up several times who is in his 80's, he runs around like a headless chicken, always seems to be panicking, after talking to my niece who drank there in the past and her conversations with bar staff and regulars over the years it's believed he the SON may be BI PILOR, staff never stay for long, bar 1 lad Luke, so obviously he's a yes man, he then asks why staff are leaving 2 go 2 a local bar he won't accept the reasons of not only his ignorance towards patrons but staff alike, he won't speak to them in privacy he makes a holy show of them in front of the whole pub, and asks why they are leaving, one former staff member now works in delaneys around the corner well there's actually 2 but this 1 young lad was serving my niece around the whole Covid after covid time and she requested she and her boyfriend have 2 drinks from the same glasses, so the young gent proceeded to pull the pints and the BALD GLASSES WEARING SON actually slapped the drinks from the lads hand, my niece is a manager in booths and told the SON, she requested the drinks in such way and the fact he was out of order and rude and obnoxious and dog ignorant, the young lad gave them there drinks and my niece told him DO NOT LET HIM the SON do that to you or anyone, most of the bad comments on here are all related to the SON who is clearly running the pub into the ground with his rude and panicking ways and shocking attitude, patrons and staff alike say he has a lot of family problems, we'll like all professionals you must leave you're problems at home or at worst the front door, he's a walking heart attack waiting to happen, it's a hard one for TOMMY an absolute gent of a man, a dieing breed sadly to have to say to his son change you're ways or leave, but he has to do something and soon he won't always be around sadly. the son is a failed prison officer didn't last long in the job, and we see why, he's still friends with them all do as they go in for sneaky pints from 10AM Onwards as do some local pi$$ heads needing a curior as we used to call it, how this man has not gotten a slap is beyond belief, staff former and present and likewise patrons can't all be wrong TOMMY AND CO OWNER'S , please sort him out or sack him and get in a real bar manager, not someone who thinks they own the place and is invincible like ROCKY why have a review spot if you the manager/co owners are not going to publish it, seems you're not able f9r constructive criticism

21/06/2026: Friend asked for a glass of water and got refused, I walked to the bar and a barman GRABBED ME BY THE ARM AND SHOUTED that he wouldn’t serve me water (after I bought two pints). Multiple patrons were shocked

29/07/2026: Indisputably excellent pastries and good coffee. The only downside is the price: €11 for a pastry and a coffee feels steep, even by Dublin standards.

10/07/2026: Staff girls are very friendly and pastries are delicious. Nice spot to grab your morning coffee and 🥐.

23/09/2025: Dublin Kebab - the chicken wing meal is where it’s at. They cook the wings over their bbq grill or over the tandoori oven. Comes with a salad, freshly baked homemade flat bread and 2 sauces. I could be here all day talking about how good it is. Always feel good after it . Takes a little longer than their other stuff to prepare but it’s worth the wait in my humble opinion

23/09/2025: Awful experience, they say to install their app for a free coffee. After buying the coffee they put me to pay as there was no voucher available in the freshly installed app. The staff told me that the promotion is over and in their liffet is saying clearly that on the 30.09.25 expires. I won't go to any nero cafe ever again

14/09/2025: On sunday you might see only a member of the staff and of course long q and slow service. Oh, ya, one more thing to mention, you' ll see lots of tables with cutlery, cups and other left overs by customers. A big let down in relation to clean.

16/07/2026: I got a croissant here this week around 11am so not late in the day. It was really heavy and dense. The lamination looked great but other than that it was not enjoyable.

16/06/2026: Excellence. The smell alone makes me want to go back . Very friendly staff . Fresh baked breads , cookies, cakes . Great to see this shop thriving . A must stop .

30/03/2026: This ist an old, traditonal irish pub not quite in the Center of Dublin. Very friendly people there on both sides of the bar. Low- to midpriced.

12/08/2026: Just landed at 9:30pm from dublin airport (08/11/2026) Settled into the hotel and hit the night life. Was told by the old guy at the door I was too wasted to enter. Told me I would never get inside. Wouldn't even look at me. Same with the other 3 bouncers. Wouldn't look at me. Sober from canada, and refused entry for being too drunk. Absolutely the worst employees in history

19/03/2026: The rudest girl server I ever met. Asked me if I wanted room for milk - I said yes. Then when she served the coffee - it was filled to the top. I asked her could I trow a little bit out in their sink and add some milk and she sighed and looked at me as if I had just killed her family. Horrible.

29/07/2026: The coffee and food are fine, though just as overpriced as in every other Costa. This place suffers from bad management, staff spend virtually no time cleaning the seating area which has food all over the floors, old cups and plates all over the tables, just not a nice atmosphere to consume food or drink in. This place could be somewhere people want to spend time in, relax, enjoy a coffee and a sandwich, but instead it's somewhere I'd rather order to take away or bypass altogether. Edit: This location is, at the time of writing this edit, undergoing a full refurbishment so perhaps they are addressing the points in my original review above! 🤞🏼
