The best restaurants in Dublin

28/05/2026: Hi, a person of 68yrs who has been a great supporter of Captain Americas through the years. Back in late 70's ,was nurse training in local area, 10 in the group & would have regularly gone for dinner in restaurant. After that ,visited often,when in Dublin cityh. My family would also have been regulars. My youngest Son, insisted on a visit with us ,before he emigrated to Canada on 2017. Captain Americas has been a big part of my life for many years. A lot of good memories. Sad to see it go, but hope new enterprise will be as good.

14/05/2026: We were lost, not knowing where to eat; it was after 3:00 PM. And yes, without any problem, they served us a delicious meal: a beef stew and a lamb stew. Thank you for your attention. May 12, 2026

09/08/2026: How difficult is it to publish accurate opening times? Walked there at 10pm and it was closed despite google saying it was open until 11pm. I’m hangry☹️

30/06/2026: I ordered chiken kebab Just taco sauce and veggie,they delivery me doner kebab then they send me chiken kebab but forget tò out veggie half bottle taco sauce very salty disgusting i trow in the bin very uoset never happened before. 02/08/2025: The bao buns are a hit every time. The bowls are so flavorful. Last time we ended up ordering a repeat of a dish it was so good. Love this place.

18/07/2026: This kip has consistently gotten orders wrong like forgetting to put sauce or missing food like a box of nuggets that are all paid for. This happens so often I felt the need to post this. I normally don't complain much and it’s also a McDonald. I dont expect best service and best food but for crying out loud how hard is it to put food into a bag while reading from a list. My 7 yo daughter can do a task like that. I don't know how they train or manage the staff but there is a massive issue. Seeing other reviews it really shows this is a consistent issue. Incompetence on every level. Management will never read this but I recommend to avoid this McDonald especially if you are going through drive through.

24/08/2026: Portion size of the spicebag is shocking. It’s €9.70 which is even more shocking. Had to make food after it cause it didn’t fill me. Wouldn’t recommend.

09/08/2026: Me and my boyfriend ordered from here yesterday and it costed 30 euro. The spice tray I warned him will not be that big but he said it’s grand. Ok. What was delivered to my house was absolutely fucking tiny compared to their old usual boxes, 5 pieces of chicken in it and a pissy few chips. The food itself is lovely, the ribs were absolutely beautiful but like I’m sorry why do they think they are with them portion sizes for the spice trays? The fact they don’t even do deals from Friday to Sunday every week is a joke aswell, never in any other Chinese do they not still do meal deals during the weekend. Yous can piss off now with that carry on and we wont be back

25/03/2026: The food is amazing, the size is fair, quality of meat so far the best i've had in Dublin 15, the spice blend was fantastic, they know how to play with the spices and everything was good, fantastic delivery, they said 30 minutes, in 17 minutes the order arrived, the things i didnt like, so ill start with how greedy it is to charge 24 euros for a munchie box and if u want drinks pay extra 2 euro for each, at least give a drink for free, and the problem with the curry sauce, why give a curry sauce this big, who's gonna eat that much curry sauce?

30/06/2026: Older woman short hair wasn’t great with customers like they were an inconvenience coffee was nice

29/07/2026: Indisputably excellent pastries and good coffee. The only downside is the price: €11 for a pastry and a coffee feels steep, even by Dublin standards.

10/07/2026: Staff girls are very friendly and pastries are delicious. Nice spot to grab your morning coffee and 🥐.

05/08/2026: 2nd time ordering from here and yet again issues. No chips in either happy meal. Just 4 nuggets and a toy. The staff are incapable in this branch. Embarrassing.

14/07/2026: Place was empty but still somehow took about 15 mins to get a double quarter pounder meal, which was barely warm. Was also harassed by flies while trying to eat.

03/09/2026: Waiting half a hour for food that was wrong and cold then staff were very rude

13/08/2026: Very slow service only two staff working the management should be ashamed of themselves.

09/08/2026: Nice food, lads are bang on and they are good to loyal customers
