16/06/2026: Delivered the wrong food then when I rang them had to wait over two hrs when shop is only couple hundred metres up the road went to shop and tried to tell me they already sorted that delivery when I clearly didn't receive just as I speak it arrived guess what it's wrong again never will I order out of here again

18/04/2026: Started to queue here last week but the floor was visibly dirty. Covered in paper and food everywhere - made my stomach turn. Immediately turned around and went to Nandos next door. Used to love going to this specific Eddie's all the time but the cleanliness seems to have gone downhill. It was about 30 mins before close, so maybe staff had left already or were waiting till close to start cleaning, but it wasn't super busy - if that's what the front of house is like I can only imagine what the kitchen must be like - not very appealing or appetizing. Lost a long-time customer.

04/04/2026: Very poor service. Waited for over 30 minutes to get my order. Really not happy wrong order onto of that. Never coming back to any Eddie Rockets. Very poor service food portions also very small

06/03/2026: A cozy place with a feel of good food to be had. We had great evening here with friends. Crab , Calamari starters excellent. Most had Dublin bay prawns and just superb. Sides were good and very helpful waiters when we asked for items not on the menu. Enjoyed good loire wines at reasonable prices for the fish. Our party were delighted with the experience. Will be back.

02/03/2026: This restaurant has a cosy and elegant atmosphere, with attentive servers who do not rush you at all. The seafood is very tasty and the desserts looked good (though we didn't partake). The vegetable sides are almost uniformly overdone, though -- just get the creamed spinach and forget about the broccoli, cauliflower or green beans, which are tasteless and overdone. Whyyyyy??? This is a throwback place that may well be coasting on tourists. You can eat much better at many other spots in town, but the servers and the atmosphere is charming and beautifully quiet.

19/06/2026: Everything was amazing, from the choice of food and quality of it, to the 2 members of staff that treated us with the best service we got in Liffey valley for the 2 days that we were there. Special thank you for going above and beyond for our orders and we liked it so much we came back twice. For the 2 staff that worked there on Thursday 18th June 2026, a massive thank you!

02/12/2025: I tried a spice bag for the first time. It was very heavily seasoned, which I enjoyed, although I can see how others might think it was too much. The price felt slightly high, but I'm not from the area, so it may be reasonable. That said, the portion was extremely large, enough to feed two people. I appreciated how the restaurant used foil packs and a foil lined bag, to help keep the food warm.

01/11/2025: Took two hours for delivery to arrive. The last delivery we got took one hour thirty minutes to arrive. Could not get through by phone to query where delivery was. Driver who arrived needs a lesson in customer care. Avoid if you are hungry. There are better takeaways in area.

15/05/2026: I ordered extra apache dynamite sauce... and somehow got zero sauce. This has happened several times with different orders, I'll order rainbow cookies and get chocolate cookies. I'll order mixed cookies and get only chocolate. One time I ordered no chicken on the pizza, and they removed the pepperoni?? The wedges are somehow always soggy and cold. I am fed up ordering from this store and will be telling others to not order from this store again. Don't know why I believed for so long.

25/04/2026: Wish I could give this place zero stars! Ordered delivery from the Hilton and they either gave the order to the wrong person or most likely never delivered. After speaking with the store, they stated it was out for delivery even though the app said delivered. All things considered, I smell a scam!!!!! Avoid this place at all costs. It has terrible reviews for a reason.

21/03/2026: How are you I just placed order for 5 people and I just got a spice box with a curry sauce and there was literally 4 pieces of chicken and the rest chips I’m really disappointed since I order from here all the time

12/04/2026: Order from here frequently and it's always good but this time the service was awful. 10 minutes waiting on the phone and then ordered Singapore fried rice and crispy shredded beef (among other things). The lad on the phone called it back to me correctly. The order was collected by a family member and when they arrived it was Singapore noodles and Normal beef (not crispy and mostly vegetables). Mistakes happen but I called to let the lad on the phone know and he said "I called it back to you" trying to put the blame on me. He called back my correct order. Food is good when it's the right order and the staff are normally great but this time it was very bad.

03/04/2026: Ordered a delivery for a 4in1 with Shredded chicken and the chicken tasted and smelled like fish. Rang the shop and the woman on the phone was so rude and cheeky. She told me they don’t have any fish products in the shop which is a lie as there are prawns on the menu. She then said “well what do you want me to do about it” in a very cheeky tone and stated that she hasn’t had any other complaints about it. I told her I can send the food back if she doesn’t believe me and she said make sure I get there before they close knowing I had ordered for delivery and no way to get to the shop. She then said she will assess the food first and then decide if they will refund me my money (she did refund in the end after going back and forth). The customer service from this worker was awful. I usually only order from here but I’m not sure I would recommend it now after this woman’s attitude.

08/05/2026: Was super hungry & ordered katsu fries online. Specifically asked for a good amount of curry sauce in the fries. The order was an hour late & had ZERO sauce. Not ordering here again. The temple bar branch is really good though.

03/04/2026: The amount of food compared to the price was really small, and was not the tastiest.

21/01/2026: How can you get chips wrong - got grey tasteless chips tonight from Capri Kimmage so disappointed as I was looking forward to chips. Is the any good chippers left in Dublin.

02/03/2026: Used to drop in there now and again over the years and it was ok. Then a few years ago it was being run by I'm not sure who but it was a trendy sort of bar and was very pleasant. The latest incarnation is however a slide down the scale from pleasant to ugggh. Visited the other day around 4pm. The table we sat at was not clean - sticky beer stains all over it; Its not like the place was so busy basic table management was not possible. I counted 11 other customers in the place Sat on a low stool (thankfully) and fell off leaving me on the floor - turns out the seat was not attached to the base - I mean seriously ‽ There are better places in the area to spend your money so don't waste it here.

02/06/2026: The burgers were of very poor quality. The beef patties were completely overcooked and burnt, and the cheese was not even melted. The food looked and tasted as if no care had been taken in its preparation. To make matters worse, we were charged extra for 1 small portion of mayonnaise that we requested, despite already paying for our meals. This felt unreasonable and disappointing. both my son and I felt unwell for the rest of the evening and had a very unpleasant night afterwards. Overall, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we have had. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

17/05/2026: The hamburger was little even if I order a large one. The other things are Good! It's a must have a card to pay there.

02/01/2026: The coffee was very good. Everything else was extremely disappointing. 👎👎

23/11/2025: Great coffee, fresh bread and pastries, and a friendly atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d come back to
