The best restaurants in Dublin

06/04/2026: mediocre place, cant really trust a place that specialises in everything. Maybe if i got a pizza or kebab from here id change my mind but they cant even make good chips so am i really willing to risk my money for anything else?

04/10/2025: I had a very disappointing experience at this coffee shop. I went there with my mom and bought coffee and food. After we sat down, a staff member (apparently the manager) came over and very rudely told us to move to the other side of the café — with no explanation or basic courtesy. I had to carry all our food and drinks and help my elderly mom move, which was extremely inconvenient and disrespectful. Honestly, I didn’t even want to mention this, but I also noticed a fly sitting on the muffins inside the display cabinet. That completely put me off eating anything else. Between the poor hygiene and the unprofessional behaviour of the staff, I’m really disappointed. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good service or cleanliness.

21/09/2025: Very bad experience. I waited so long for my coffee while others were served before me. The staff were busy talking to each other instead of paying attention to customers. When I finally got my order, the coffee itself was disappointing. Poor service and poor quality.

23/09/2025: Awful experience, they say to install their app for a free coffee. After buying the coffee they put me to pay as there was no voucher available in the freshly installed app. The staff told me that the promotion is over and in their liffet is saying clearly that on the 30.09.25 expires. I won't go to any nero cafe ever again

14/09/2025: On sunday you might see only a member of the staff and of course long q and slow service. Oh, ya, one more thing to mention, you' ll see lots of tables with cutlery, cups and other left overs by customers. A big let down in relation to clean.

13/04/2026: Dinner at Milano Dundrum! 🍕 Just had a brilliant night at Milano in Dundrum with the crew. Honestly, I was so pleasantly surprised by how good it was! We went for the 3-course deal for €32—which is actually mental value for what we got. The pizza on the Romana thin base was unreal, and the portions were way bigger than I expected. Seriously, do not skip the brownie and ice cream for dessert... it was to die for. 🤤 They’ve got a great selection of drinks too (loads of soft drinks as well as the usual beer/wine), and the atmosphere in there is lovely. The staff were absolute legends as well—great service and really friendly. If you’re looking for a spot to meet up with friends that won't break the bank but still feels like a treat, definitely head here. 10/10 quality and service!

16/03/2026: A hidden gem in Dublin. The photos on Google don’t do it justice. It’s hard to find - a hidden bar upstairs in the hotel - but it’s one of Dublin’s finest and most refined.

16/02/2026: Magical night of drinks with friends. Cosy, relaxed, stellar service, particularly from the amazing barman Oisín. 10/10 will be going back again

08/07/2025: My latte today tasted like a cheap 3-in-1 instant version. There was absolutely no foam. My friend's cappuccino was also like slop. The staff cleans the tables and floor when the customer sits down to drink coffee. Not when they leave. The tables are dirty. We were drinking coffee at a low table sitting in chairs and a guy with a broom came and started sweeping around us, even though the rest of the place was empty and in need of cleaning. To us it was like "Get out of this cafe!" I will never come to this place again. The foam was only for washing your hands, not in the coffee cups.

18/01/2026: The Chicken Tikka Masala I got was poor quality, featuring dry, unmarinated cubes of meat that lacked the traditional char and flavours expected of the dish, def not marinated! Furthermore, the prawn dish was overcooked to a mushy consistency and were entirely flavourless and went straight in the bin! Given that these dishes were so bad I will not order from here again!

11/01/2026: Is the chef was on leave today? This is not biriyani, it is puzhugal ari with chicken cubes.

05/07/2025: The girl named diana has a chip on her shoulders needs to learn to talk to people and basic manners besides her other staff are helpful

25/04/2026: Avoid these people, they deliberately ripped me off twice in a week. The first time I put it down to error, they overcharged me for a meal when it wasn't one. But today I asked for a half pounder with egg, they gave me a quarter pounder with no sign of any egg. I know cultural sensibility is a thorny subject, but these people should be very grateful they are here. If they don't like it they can go home. Avoid.

19/03/2026: Good portions, old school fish and chips.

08/05/2026: Was super hungry & ordered katsu fries online. Specifically asked for a good amount of curry sauce in the fries. The order was an hour late & had ZERO sauce. Not ordering here again. The temple bar branch is really good though.

19/04/2026: Have been ordering from here since I moved to tallaght 3 years ago. Food always hits the spot but tonight's battered sausage and chips were even better than usual. Highly reccomend.

17/04/2026: The problem with this chipper is the consistency. When it's good it's really good. But it seems to be getting worse. We spent nearly,€100 and this is what your getting. The food is ALWAYS stuck to the paper. Have to find find a new place to start ordering from. Because it's gotten ridiculous!

10/05/2026: Tasty and quick food. Very reasonable lunch menu with a decent choice.

28/04/2026: Excellent takeaway. Generous portions, delicious food and well priced. My new go to Chinese!
