The best restaurants in Dublin

06/11/2025: Excellent food with great portion!

06/11/2025: When we walked in, we weren't greeted by the workers. We ordered our meals - fish and chips -, paid 16.5€, no drink, and waited 15 minutes long for our meal-to-go in a tiny and crowded space, since we wanted to eat in a park and not inside (there was also no space to sit anymore). When we finally got our meal in a paper box, which was wrapped up in more paper and put in a paper bag, we sat in the park with our meals and started eating with our given wooden forks and knives, wich were completely useless. When me and my friends took bites out of our fish and chips, we immediately knew that coming there was the worst decision we did that day. Fish: the breaded fish tasted like it marinated in pure oil for 5 days stright, and then deep fried and then doused with oil again. There was literally more crust than fish, and the quality of the meat wasn't the best too. Chips: they didn't have much flavour, just very oily again and too salty. The insides of them were like a sandy paste. Alltogether the taste was like pure oil and salt mixed, and the quality of the food was very questionable. After eating a few bites of our food, we eventually threw it away, since all of us got huge cramps in our stomach. Those continued for another 7 hours and the taste just wouldn't go away from our mounths. And all of that for 16.5€!?!? Worst 16.5 bucks ever spent - I absolutely wouldn't recommed going there.

06/10/2025: While wondering this general area of Dublin, I decided to stop for a coffee and a brief snack…I received a very friendly welcoming and the warm atmosphere was exactly what I needed..the coffee was very good…

27/09/2025: A wait of an hour and a half to recieve luke warm food and only after a phone call is not acceptable. They've lost a long standing customer and I've lost almost €20. Avoid.

04/10/2025: I was there the other night got a kaba and onion rings the minute I finished it i knew i wasn't right afterwards i spent the night in the loo and miss out on a day's work the next day so wouldn't recommend going there at all

28/09/2025: I really liked it, the service is top-notch. The guy who was handling the fries did everything perfectly; honestly, Donatella is running thanks to him. The food is tasty, but a bit pricey. I’m giving 5 stars for the Asian guy 👍🏻

19/10/2025: Truly awful experience today for lunch. We had been on many occasions before and were always wowed by the atmosphere food and service. A group of 6 of us arrived for lunch today and were seated next to a group of 50 people which appeared to be a christening. The noise was deafening, children running around screaming and staff were few, and very overwhelmed. The food was really poor, the accompanying salad with the prawn tempura lacked freshness, the steak was as tough as old boots with no marination, and the ice cream for dessert was similar to what you’d get at a children’s birthday party. I complained to management and they did discount the bill, a solid gesture but not what I was looking for! We were looking for a nice meal in a ‘small leading hotels of the world’ restaurant but it felt like a cross between McDonald’s and a roadside cafe. Management need to step up, this is APPALLING, and we will not be stepping in there ever again

16/09/2025: Used to love the Sandwiches. Coffee is great. Have not been back since about 3 months ago they appeared to change the sandwiches. They didn't respond to an email regarding this. I'll try again sometime soon to see if they have gone back to the super sandwiches they used to have. Nope. No change. Not for me!

20/11/2025: Cashier is very friendly (Lin) . Lots of stuff this time. Promotion is worth it. The cashier system must be improved. Excellent

17/10/2025: Recently booked, paid online and pickup keropok lekor from here. Wanted to drop by just to pickup keropok lekor but we ended up adding more Malaysian gem stuff into our carts 😅 From kicap habhal, serbuk asam and asam boi, twisties cheese!! Lovely service but be mindful of the expiry date, ask for discount if you’re willing to buy it if it hs already expired 😉 The “fresh” goods are not something you would come for here but their packed Malaysian goods are definitely worth coming for.

27/10/2025: Needed a break from pub fare, and this place hit the spot. Delicious won ton soup and rice dishes.

12/08/2025: It's big let down me this year golden palace not because food it was because I was costumer ordered here long time loved there chipper then I rang order one day tell me only do card unfortunately my disability I have youse money I'm highlighting this because I found out bye law you still have youse cash now I can't order from here any more I really miss it so this not really fair we have always youse cars I only youse cash this wrong I'm really disappointed golden palace would do this like said food great I feel like this needs be put out there I wish they would go back cash for delivery not really fair

08/07/2025: My latte today tasted like a cheap 3-in-1 instant version. There was absolutely no foam. My friend's cappuccino was also like slop. The staff cleans the tables and floor when the customer sits down to drink coffee. Not when they leave. The tables are dirty. We were drinking coffee at a low table sitting in chairs and a guy with a broom came and started sweeping around us, even though the rest of the place was empty and in need of cleaning. To us it was like "Get out of this cafe!" I will never come to this place again. The foam was only for washing your hands, not in the coffee cups.
