The best restaurants in Dublin

14/06/2025: I come to this shop pretty regularly and the woman manager is constantly bossing around her staff and being rude to customers. I've seen her in fights with staff constantly, shouting and complaining when it's clearly unnecessary. She is clearly unable to do her job without exerting control and authority over the people unfortunate enough to have to work with her. The rest of the staff are very polite and helpful so it always makes me feel bad for them. She makes this already expensive shop worse to be in.

07/06/2025: Convenient spot but that's it. Insanely overpriced items. Bought a kinder Bueno cake here for 15 quid it was horrible no one even finished their slice. Line can be so long at times. Staff are pleasant but that's about all the good things I have to say

05/06/2025: Met a friend for a coffee, Counter service only . Plenty of vacant tables & most were dirty & several had old cups etc on them . When I got my tea & coffee they came in paper cups & as they were v hot I could barely carry them to my table ( no sign of a tray) I ordered a scone & was handed a paper bag to pick one - how was I meant to eat it out of a bag sitting at one of their dirty tables … I managed to locate a plate under a tower of saucers & asked for jam etc . Nothing was given unless asked for - milk was handed over the counter (after asking ) in a 2 litre container. The staff need to be trained in hygiene & customer service . Floor was sticky & covered in dropped food. Overall I would not recommend &

18/04/2025: Cupcakes I got were stale and tough, icing tasted cheap. Eclair looked incredible but was very disappointing, also tasted cheap. Don’t recommend.

09/05/2025: It was a nice experience with the staff attendance and good continental dishes. People can place an order for pick up. A visit will convince you. I saw people from other cities take away.

06/05/2025: Loved the food here. The service was great, the portion size was generous, and the price was fair. Glad we made a stop here on our trip.

27/06/2025: Charged €22.95 for the Caesar salad & iced coffee. Caesar salad had obviously been premade days beforehand as all veg was soggy and tasted rotten. Also believe I was overcharged, as the salad itself is €12.95 - €10 for the coffee????

20/06/2025: This is one of the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. I am usually not the greatest Starbucks fan, but at least you usually know what to expect. This one feels filthy, the toilets are the worst I have ever seen in any Starbucks! Someone needs to come in and do a deep clean, and then train your staff properly on how to keep the store clean and inviting. I used to be a store manager. I would be ashamed if U was managing this one.

08/06/2025: Food was ok, service was ok, but the toilets were awful! Not clean, one sink out of use and toilet paper dispenser not working! Very disappointing and unacceptable given the brand name!

28/06/2025: I don’t leave a lot of reviews but I felt compelled to do so after having the misfortune of visiting this place. The bar itself is really visually appealing but I must say I have never encountered a ruder, colder set of staff in all my years. It was our second bar in Dublin, (with the first one being welcoming, generous and kind) and what a negative impression it left. We queued at the bar for no less than 20 minutes while it wasn’t that busy. The bar staff decided for whatever reason that we were not worth serving to the point that people who were stranding behind us in the queue moved to another section of the bar and were served instantly. In what is a very out of character move for us we felt we had to say something as they consistently ignored us and once they started serving maybe the tenth person who was clearly after us at the bar. A youngish black guy eventually served us as we said “we’ve been standing her for 20 minutes and we were here long before these people” and I have to say he was the rudest most unpleasant person I’ve ever had serve me a drink. He looked at us as if we were nothing and as if it was a chore to serve us a drink. As someone who has managed people for more than 15 years I have to say that I would be ashamed if any of my team members ever acted like this with our customers. This was a disgustingly poor level of customer service provided by these people. If they hate customers so much there should really be a question asked as to why they work in customer facing roles. Finally I need to point out that we were completely sober, well dressed and respectful group and this really put a downer on our day - having felt looked down upon and disrespected. My final message is that if you see us please do not support this business until they completely revamp their approach to the people who want to spend their hard money in their premises. An utterly vile experience.

12/06/2025: What an awful place. Went in thinking we might grab something to eat, but after waiting 10 minutes for the bar tender to stop refilling the tea cups, entirely found time to ask what we wanted them didn't have the first clue how to make it. Avoid

28/05/2025: Best Chinese in Lucan BY FAR. Food is a straight 10/10 always delicious. Fast delivery. Massive selection. Girl on the phone is lovely and polite. Not one bad thing to say about the place. BEST CHINESE IN LUCAN without a doubt. If you want a massive selection of piping hot delicious Chinese food Famous is the place to be.

05/06/2024: It's very sad to see this place closing down. I came here a few times with my late nan and her family when I used to visit Dublin, and the food was delicious, both dinner and deserts. Best of luck in your new ventures, guys, and may the memories last forever.
