The best restaurants in Dublin

17/07/2026: Not a terrible place to stay especially if you’re not planning on spending time in your room. The bathrooms are a little old and could use some more cleaning but it was doable. Beds were plenty comfortable enough. Bedding was clean. Odd you have to pay to have a towel so just keep that in mind. But the place was cool. Has shuffl, pool tables and activities each night.

24/05/2026: They have a bar playing super loud edm and club music until 1am in the middle of the night. I went to the front desk to request for ear plugs. They told me they have ran out and there is nothing they can do. The guy at the front desk was not apologetic at all.

16/10/2026: Ordered a simple spice bag. 25 minutes later I asked if it was going to take much longer. It was at that stage they picked up the ticket to get the food cooking. The statement of "we are extremely busy tonight" was the automatic response. This is not my local takeaway, I live close and passed approx 5 Chinese takeaways on the way here due to my daughter's recommendations. Extremely disappointed in the level of service provided. Left for that length of time for a popular meal option. Wok Inn you need to do better

19/07/2026: Bought the Sean boy box was not nice most of the food went in the bin very disappointed my husband bought his normal order which was good

06/09/2026: Chips were undercooked. If you can't get chips right in a Chipper - there's something seriously wrong. Ordered goujons and received wings. Everything was bland and just tasted of grease. The quality of the food was noticeably poor, will not bother with this place again.

21/08/2026: There is clearly no difference between a small bag of chips and large.So when you ask for a large bag of chips and pay for it you don't get it.Now I've asked for a small and it's been bigger than a large and the other way around.Due to this I never get what I want. as someone who hates onions I got a batter burger with a load of onions between the burger and batter.ive never eaten a batter burger since so i stick to chips now hence the 3 stars and the sometimes 20 min wait for a random sized bag of chips.

20/08/2025: Food was okay, but prices are high for rather small bites.

02/08/2025: The bao buns are a hit every time. The bowls are so flavorful. Last time we ended up ordering a repeat of a dish it was so good. Love this place.

30/06/2026: Stopped and had their Lombard toasted sandwich and coffee. Waitress was very efficient and the sandwich was lovely.

21/05/2026: Stopped in for food and a drink on a whim. It was the nicest toastie and soup I have ever had! Amazing place.

13/05/2026: Would never order from this place again. Honestly one of the worst food experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food tasted like pure salt — no flavour, no quality, just salt overloaded on everything. The meat was old, dry, chewy and looked like it had been sitting there for weeks untouched. Completely inedible. Food quality was terrible from start to finish. Definitely not fresh and definitely not worth the money. I genuinely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I won’t recommend it even to my enemy. 1 star is being too much. This place shouldn’t be on market selling this garbage to people. I would rather stay hungry even if they offer to get something free from them.

17/08/2026: A staff named JENNIFER refused to let me use the bathroom before ordering—even though I was literally standing in the queue waiting to pay. Apparently, you have to suffer through the line first before being granted basic human privileges here. Power trip at the counter for no reason. Won't be back!

21/08/2026: Would give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely disgraceful service. We ordered food for my mam’s 60th birthday and waited over 2 hours without receiving it. After an hour and a half, we called and were repeatedly told the food was “with the driver”. We eventually called to cancel, only to be told the driver was outside the house — he absolutely was not. Another half an hour passed, despite the driver calling to say he was “a few minutes away”. We called again to cancel but nobody would answer, so we eventually had to text the driver to say the order was cancelled. Over 2 hours waiting for food that never arrived, on my mam’s birthday. Having since looked at the reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence. Absolutely unacceptable and a complete disgrace.

26/07/2026: We went a couple of times during our stay in Dublin and the service was very friendly, the food was delicious and apart from the pizzas I recommend the wings.

08/05/2026: It is a takeout-only place that fries the food right there on the spot, so it took about 5 minutes. It was warm, and from an Asian perspective, the taste seems pretty much the same everywhere, but since the only condiments were vinegar and salt, it would be nice if there were more variety in the side dishes. It was an old-fashioned restaurant with a cool vibe, where the staff took care of us casually but without much thought.

23/10/2026: Website/ App was so easy to navigate to Order. Food was delicious and well packaged.

14/10/2026: Went here after a concert for some dinner with my girlfriend. Ordered; chicken fried rice, large crispy chilli chicken with egg fried rice and a portion of red curry dumplings. We got it to takeaway and went back to the hotel room. So first off they replaced the dumplings with some potato cubes that were barely cooked. The 'large' crispy chilli chicken (which cost almost €20) had around 6-7 small pieces of chicken, all of which were soggy and not crispy at all. And then to top it all off, the chicken fried rice was prawn fried rice, now I like prawn but this was grim. All of this came to almost €40 and about 80% of it went in the bin.

30/09/2026: Got a full Irish, it was ok, location was convenient as I was in the area, staff were friendly and quick service. Food was ok

14/09/2026: Went to this restaurant right before we went into the Jameson Distillery for a tasting... I didn't think a problem at the time, but had what looked like the last of thanksgiving sub (turkey, stuffing etc in a sub bun) made while watching and some kind of carrot soup. Went to the distillery and should have suspected as got really sweaty... within about 8 hours or so felt ill and sure enough by night time it was coming back out and the next morning finally tossed it. Ended up sick for a few days, definitely food poisoning. As soon as my system purged the soup etc.. felt better but weak for 2 days.
