The best restaurants in Dublin

29/03/2026: I recently ate here for a birthday. 8 people with 2 children.. 1 person ordered 2 starters and then we were left waiting 2 hours for main courses. After complaining/asking how much longer 3 times and the actual hunger going off us we said we will take the food away at the takeaway price and leave they then came out with plates and started to serve the food. Id like to say that when we kept asking how much longer for the food they said.. "we are sorry we are busy with takeaways" they do not prioritize guests sitting in the restaurant... freezing and paying restaurant prices over takeaway orders and delivery... i was told this in an email..🤣 consequently our hunger subsided and only one person finished their food and we did infact 'takeaway' very bad service, very bad customer care.. no discount given and a 20 percent off next order offered.. after spending over 200 euro.. shocking service . oh, we also had to leave the restaurant to put more money on the parking meter as honest a review as possible.

29/03/2026: Sat in as a family of 8 for daughters birthday. Arrived at 5.20pm and food arrived at 7.45pm as staff had said theyvwere busy on takeaway orders. Each main dish is approx 25% extra for sit in byt takeaway was prioritised. Hmmm. I had asked on ordering if balti dish was used for cooking and serving and was told yes. Balti came in a bowl and was like normal tomato based bland curry. All the rest of my party had lost appetite when food arrived . Shocking experience had by all and business will suffer with these issues as they have now lost mine. 31/12/2025: Real home made kebab. You collect there to die at home. They don’t answer the phone e pretend that they are dumb.

05/12/2025: Their delivery service is really bad like the delivery person was very rude and by the time he delivered my food it was cold , I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here because it’s a waste of money and the delivery is 10€ even tho they try charge you more in person

02/12/2025: I tried a spice bag for the first time. It was very heavily seasoned, which I enjoyed, although I can see how others might think it was too much. The price felt slightly high, but I'm not from the area, so it may be reasonable. That said, the portion was extremely large, enough to feed two people. I appreciated how the restaurant used foil packs and a foil lined bag, to help keep the food warm.

01/11/2025: Took two hours for delivery to arrive. The last delivery we got took one hour thirty minutes to arrive. Could not get through by phone to query where delivery was. Driver who arrived needs a lesson in customer care. Avoid if you are hungry. There are better takeaways in area.

14/11/2025: Ordered a fish box tonite with curry sauce , took ages to get here and when arrived it was missing the sauce . Rang to be told they diddent take for the curry sauce . Paid €18 euro for chips and a few fish nuggets . Will never order again . If i could give 0 stars i would

06/04/2026: Got food from here because of an online food reviewer who said the spice bag was unbelievable and the curry sauce was unbelievable, im sorry to say spice bag was only ok with all the chicken on top of the bag to make it look like it had lots of chicken, the flavour of the spice bag was ok but not great the curry sauce was only ok. We only had a spice bag and a 3in1 with a extra curry sauce so I cant speak for the full menu.

22/02/2026: Chips very poor, recently purchased chips + smoked cod, chips hard bits which should be discarded and not solded, half mine ended up in bin. Batter on cod hard as iron, nearly broke a tooth, this is regularly.

11/04/2026: Ordered the veg chow mein twice (just to be sure) in the last month, and they've changed the noodles and the sauce. Very sad, noodles are thick and the sauce has a ketchup taste. Ive always loved it but its not good now. Their curry sauce is lovely though, thank god that hasn't changed. The prices have also gone up a lot recently.

02/11/2025: Disgusting toilets with no visible light, dirty when I used my phone light and no toilet paper in the morning. Do not recommend especially with children.

16/03/2026: A hidden gem in Dublin. The photos on Google don’t do it justice. It’s hard to find - a hidden bar upstairs in the hotel - but it’s one of Dublin’s finest and most refined.

16/02/2026: Magical night of drinks with friends. Cosy, relaxed, stellar service, particularly from the amazing barman Oisín. 10/10 will be going back again

08/12/2025: Ordered online for the first time. Online prices €1 more than in the menu put though the door. Paid €4.50 for delivery and the cheeky delivery driver called me from inside the car to say he was outside then as i opened the door he falshed his lights for me to go to his car and collect it from him. The food was tasteless very salty and ended up in the bin. Very bad experience.

15/11/2025: Nicest Chinese in tallaght, if you like red Thai curry defo try it but have to say any dish we have tried have all been delicious and always roasting hot

21/05/2025: I've been coming here for 4 years about 3 or 4 times a week, the staff here are lovely and so kind. Today there's been a violent incident that the security guard yelled at a young mother. This was clearly an act of racism. It was very disappointing to see that this individual created a disgusted atmosphere in this lovely coffee shop.

24/04/2025: I came in in around a month ago and was about to ask if they had the facilities for me to charge my phone with a cable and plug when i was interrupted and told “toilets are for customers”. I felt it was rather rude. Today i came in for a second time. It was the same man and he was rather rude, kind of flinging the food at me. I wasn’t asked whether i wanted my food toasted and im assuming they only do takeaway cups as I wasn’t offered a plate or mug. Overall poor service. He’s a white man with what I assume is a French accent, middle aged.
