The best restaurants in Dublin

19/06/2025: Literally everything from this Chinese is delicious!! The best Chinese in the inner city! It’s affordable with great deals and the staff is also lovely!

30/04/2025: Food is good but the delivery guy made me wait outside for 10 minutes because he can’t read the map and went to the wrong area. I told him on the phone exactly where to go aswell and he said he was there. Then calls the phone screaming and cursing me out telling me how his time is more valuable than mine and if I’m not outside in one minute he’d drive away, he then listened for a second and drove 10 seconds down the road to the right address. All while I was waiting outside the front of the apartment the whole time.

29/06/2025: Their bowls are filling; their guacamole and jalapeños are what's Mexican; their burritos aren't in the style of northern or western Mexican dishes, but rather Tex-Mex. They call their orange rice in their bowls "Mexican rice" because of its tomato sauce, but it has no vegetables at all.

07/06/2025: 2024: Food whilst nice is very limited in range. Queues are always long, and you will reqularly see people leave in frustration having already queued for far too long. Click and collect is hit and miss. Around half of the time, the food will be ready as scheduled, other times the order has been mislaid and not even started. Staff are always pleasant and helpful but unfortunately never knowledgeable about their products and services. This may be a result of a high staff turnover, as whenever I query anything, I will usually receive an answer of "sorry, I don't know, but I've only just started here" Very confusing also that the menu and selection options in their app, on just eat, and in store are all different both in content and on some items on price too. June 2025 Update: Have to remove a star, prices have gone up by over 25% in under 12 months while the portion sizes have decreased. And the last star is lost as they are offering drone delivery options, a most intrusive service that should not be permitted. This is the final nail in the coffin for us, as boojum is supporting a drone service that degrades our quality of home life we can no longer support boojum with our business - goodbye 😢.

02/06/2025: Fish is great, chips are extraordinary

25/05/2025: I feel the fish shack isn't as good as it was a few years ago. The staff arnt great anymore. My fish portion tonight was really small much smaller than it used to be. The scampi portion is now only available starter size .. I dont like eating out of an enamel bowl for my dinner. I asked the waitress could I have it on a plate she said no we don't have any plates 🤔 . The guy on the next table had his fish on a proper plate.. says it all

16/04/2025: My and my fianće came here to try it out. He ordered a curry and I ordered wet chow mein with curry sauce. I didn't fully enjoy mine, it was just ok. Not awful not amazing. His curry tasted nicer. I was disappointed with the flavour of my curry sauce, it tasted quite bland. The service was very good though. Friendly. The highlight was the Japanese slipper cocktail. It was absolutely delicious. Reminded me of Thailand. Overral we had a jolly good time but I think there are better Chinese options out there.

05/04/2025: For what it is, it's above average. Made all the better by lovely friendly staff and a clean dining area

18/02/2025: Nice café, tables kept clean and staff are very good. Hot sandwich selection, especially ciabatta could be improved.

06/06/2025: Ordered this well in advance. The driver said he contacted us...there was no phone record or reception notification out of the fact they never turned up. Called up told us to just re-dorevt to just eat Refused to take any blame for no delivery but took €40 off of us

13/05/2025: Visited Johnson ‘best’ food on a first time basis and had an awful time. Was well used on this occasion and as for the crowd being sometime more older i would say dont knock it to you try it most of the older guys know how to satisfy hungry guys and leave you hardly fit to walk. Nothing beats experience, the older guys are also more likely to join in group fun if like me you need more than one guy to play with at a time. €15 delivery for a frozen log of goat hoof is a bit much. I’ll attach a picture of me defrosting the hoof.

29/05/2025: Probably the nicest coffee shop on UCD campus opening to the public. Coffee is decent & cakes/pastries above average. Good spot for UCD visitors to take a coffee break.

08/03/2025: The chips were decent enough , standard chipper chips. The battered sausage was fit for my dogs , extremely low quality.

06/06/2025: 16€ for 2 coffes? Thats too much. Also when done you could call the order like saying something like "Ready". Probably one of the worst coffes I've ever tried in Dublin. Zero customer skills, please avoid this place

29/05/2025: Highly recommend for anyone visiting Blanchardstown shopping centre for great coffee and fresh muffins , also great verity of sandwiches … the baristas make my day even better with nice coffee I think her name was Dilijana with her great customer service and the lady from the counter who serve me Alexandra she take her time and explained every variety of the muffins . Definitely I’ll go back.

02/05/2025: The place is savage. The only pizza place doing something different these days that isn't a hipster kip. Staff are all sound and the food is incredible.
