The best restaurants in Dublin

02/06/2026: The burgers were of very poor quality. The beef patties were completely overcooked and burnt, and the cheese was not even melted. The food looked and tasted as if no care had been taken in its preparation. To make matters worse, we were charged extra for 1 small portion of mayonnaise that we requested, despite already paying for our meals. This felt unreasonable and disappointing. both my son and I felt unwell for the rest of the evening and had a very unpleasant night afterwards. Overall, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we have had. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

17/05/2026: The hamburger was little even if I order a large one. The other things are Good! It's a must have a card to pay there.

30/05/2026: Possibly the worst mcdonald's I've visited in a long time. Fries seemed to be from very used oil. Miniscule sauce in the burgers. Dried burger buns, awful. Won't return.

03/06/2026: Customised food options completely ignored, service horrendously slow despite the restaurant being only half full, no one clearing and cleaning tables, toilets in a disgusting state, tables of teenagers running riot. Could have eaten across the way in half the time it took to get our food. Manager and staff too busy chatting to each other than actually serving food. Never again

24/05/2026: By far, the WORST McDonalds in the country of Ireland. Always disorganised, always a drama. They have two order lanes and two collection windows. We ordered 2 McFlurry’s, paid, pulled up to one of the collection windows and waited and waited for over 10 minutes while we watched them serve 7-8 cars. Eventually, someone came to the window and asked what we ordered… We were eventually served and as he handed us the ice cream he apologised and said the “kitchen is busy”. I looked at him and said, “It’s ice cream mate - no cooking required”. Anyway, avoid this McDonalds at all cost. Go ANYWHERE else. Supermacs, BK, KFC - all INFINITELY better than this god forsaken hell hole where fond memories of McDonalds as a kid go to die…

05/01/2026: Great friendly staff and lovely food

30/12/2025: Those behind the counter have poor manners and very poor customer service skills! My mother was the only person in the shop waiting to be served. The servers saw her and left her standing there for five minutes. They didnt even have the decency to acknowledge her, let alone ask what they could get for her' or if she had even been served! Their excuse was that she (the customer) should call them for assistance. That's not how customer service works. When someone comes into restaurant/fast food store it is the server that should greet and ask if assistance is needed. They tried to justify their poor service by saying that they were busy with phone orders. If phone orders come first then shut-up shop and take business solely through the phones. Otherwise if it takes three people to serve a phone order whilst leaving an 'in-person' customer standing and ignored, then employ more staff. Customer service has been ailing here for several years but this behaviour was unacceptable.

17/05/2026: Stood in the place for five mins with nobody in the queue in front of us. For some reason the two staff members ignored us. Puzzling.

08/04/2026: Had the Japanese udon noodles with pork and it was so so so good!! New favourite spot!

22/04/2026: I left a review for this chipper over 4 years ago with 5 stars. The service has continually gone downhill; cashiers are rude, food reaching worse quality. Today I had my order missing items, I called and was offered no apology. I then went to eat the chips and half of them weren't cooked through to the middle. I called again and was hung up on. 07/04/2026: Would leave 0 stars ,Waited over an hour for 2 milkshakes and rang and they said it was on the way, only got here 20 mins later,disappointing I would of collected if I knew it was going to be that long

16/04/2025: I visited this fantastic bar before Christmas last year, and it exceeded all expectations unfortunately the place has been shut down now . The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with great music and friendly staff and lovely food by ‘Laacha Restaurant’ .

04/04/2025: It's closed. The website and IG look alive, same with open table. But there's a chain lock on the gate and the security at power court tells me they've closed up about 6 or 8 weeks ago.

08/02/2025: Index is gone. The security staff, who many people have mentioned before, were an issue. I was there with my girlfriend and had a bean bag with me. One of the bouncers jokingly called it a "lady bag" and kept laughing at me. I didn’t want to argue with him because I knew he wouldn’t let me in after, but honestly, some basic customer service would be nice. I paid for my ticket, which helps pay their wages, so a little professionalism isn’t too much to ask. I get that they don’t need to be geniuses, but hiring staff with at least some common sense and a professional attitude would go a long way. The security checks also feel more intense than at an international airport. And maybe try opening on time? We know you’re the only club in Dublin, so we don’t have many options, but this is Ireland—it’s windy, and it rains. Standing outside for an hour in that weather is enough to make anyone sick. I used to love Index, not gonna lie.

01/02/2025: Mind the bouncers, they will sack you for the minimal reason or not let you go in if you arrive late doesn't matter if you have the ticket already.

29/06/2025: It's the worst Chinese I probably have ever got. I ordered fried rice and actually It was boiled. My squid dish was so overcooked and over salted that you can't even chew so had to bin it.Never again going back.Worst local takeaway ever!

20/11/2025: Lovely spice bags! My favorite in the general area... Curry sauce and satay sauce great too.

14/11/2025: Delicious Spice bags. They also do great Bubble Teas. You can also get a big bag of chips for just €3.50! Less then 5 minutes wait time. Would visit again.

28/09/2025: Place was pretty enough. It’s inside a hotel. I chose it cuz it was close to my hotel and I was tired from travelling. Waitress was lovely. I chose a Caesar salad that tasted nothing like any Caesar I’ve had before and onion rings that dropped grease when I squeezed them, and were inedible once they had cooled. ll in all the most disappointing meal I had in my five days in Ireland.

21/09/2025: We ordered fish and chips. They looked fabulous but the chips were inedible. I prefer chips to still have some of their original potato recognisable in them. These were overcooked and really dry. The batter on the fish was very thick. Not light. First time in Ireland so may be a local preference but was not enjoyable to we Aussies who are probably spoiled for choice at home. The best thing about the meal was the impeccable service and the hot chocolate.
