11/08/2025: Best vegan brekkie I’ve had in Ireland – the vegan crostini was absolutely delicious! We came at 9 a.m. and it was really quiet, which made for a relaxed start to the day. Our server was lovely, and everyone at the table enjoyed their breakfasts. Would definitely come back.

07/06/2025: Hemos sido visitantes regulares a la hora del almuerzo de este lugar durante un par de años, pero lamentablemente, la calidad ha estado disminuyendo. Los precios están subiendo, mientras que las porciones se están reduciendo. Nuestro reciente almuerzo del sábado fue un fracaso. El ciabatta BLT era una mitad y estaba increíblemente empapado, desmoronándose y literalmente goteando por todo el plato. Las alitas de pollo con salsa picante eran una broma - sin calor, seco, y parecía microondas. La salsa de queso azul sabía más a mayo con un toque de queso azul. El sándwich de coronación de pollo también estaba apagado, con sabores que no encajaban. Es una lástima, ya que hemos tenido alguno - fuera de percances antes (como encontrar un pelo en nuestra pasta de gambas) , pero esta visita fue la peor. Con suerte, renovarán su menú y servicio.

13/07/2025: Strictly Not recommended. We have ordered family mix meal for 26€ and when we get its made already and food isn’t fresh when we request to change chicken piece they said its the last one we have. We ask them to give us anything fresh in exchange they give us chicken strips and same no fresh made. It was look like made yesterday. Then we almost binned everything. We have chicken strips left and we requested again to change and then they gave the same one re-fry. It was a bad experience.

04/07/2025: I enjoy the food here, but twice now, as in the last two times I've gone here - there have been small bone fragments in my food. Last week I ate and had a a tiny piece of bone stuck in my gum afterwards, which was difficult to remove; and today, now I have a fragment stuck in my throat for tha past 3 hours, which I have no idea how to remove. This is really basic quality control, and I can't be only one if it's twice in two weeks. Very unhappy.

11/05/2025: Pedí una comida para llevar para mí y la familia, el arroz no estaba completamente cocido, la carne de res en el curry era como masticar un cinturón de cuero. Incluso las patatas fritas eran pobres, de toda la comida familiar la única parte decente eran las bolas de pollo. El único lugar para el que esta comida era buena era el cubo, nunca volveré a pedir desde aquí.

23/08/2025: Morning, 10am, first time in Dublin, nice view over river. I don’t recommended decaf latte…burnt coffee taste, maybe regular coffee taste better. My other first regular coffee at another place tasted better. Tables looks clean, but my wife use bathroom and confirmed is the worse..as other people already post.

23/08/2025: First time in this pub. A friend's band 'The Tango Lizards' were playing there in July 2025. Turned out to be a great spot. Very big bar and nice evening. They're playing again in this pub in September 2025 and we'll be back.

09/06/2025: Full-time, one-year Master of Science in Cloud Computing at the National College of Ireland. As an international student with prior experience in cloud computing, I had high expectations from this course, expectations that, unfortunately, have not been met. The overall course delivery has been disappointing. Most of the lecturers teaching cloud computing lack both effective teaching methods and depth in subject matter. The assessment pattern is heavily focused on pen and paper exams, which require students to reproduce content word for word from the course materials. Creative thinking or expressing answers in your own words is not encouraged and is often penalized. This completely undermines real learning and practical application, which is essential for a field like cloud computing. Even though students invest a lot of time and creativity in their projects, the evaluation gives disproportionate weight to exams. Projects, which reflect hands-on skills and real understanding, are sidelined in favour of rote memorization. Thesis selection has been a painful process. Many students, including myself, have been pressured to choose topics preferred by the lecturers or ones they are already familiar with, rather than being allowed to explore areas of personal interest. This has caused significant frustration and stress among the student body. Many students have even failed their thesis due to lack of proper support and restrictive guidance from supervisors. Some lecturers, particularly those handling Machine Learning modules, are dismissive and unapproachable. They insist that only the exact content from their material be reproduced, disregarding alternative explanations or deeper understanding. This rigid mindset hampers student growth and discourages independent learning. To be very honest, pursuing Cloud Computing at NCI has been a regrettable experience. The program is not aligned with the demands of a future-driven technology like cloud computing. The lecturers, rather than enabling learning, often act as a barrier. I do not recommend this course to international students, especially those seeking practical knowledge, academic freedom, and proper support during their studies.

09/08/2025: They were out of pearls, so I accidentally ordered the popping pearls, which were not tasty... The milk tea was super hot, and the large cup was 5.8 euros.

03/08/2025: I ordered the Pièce de Bœuf Irlandais with grilled onion, fries, and pepper sauce. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The striploin served was of noticeably poor quality, especially considering the €46 price tag. It was extremely chewy and difficult to eat. I had to send it back and reorder, but the second attempt arrived overcooked and still lacking in tenderness or flavour. A real let-down for what should have been a premium dish. The rest of the dishes were ok.

Ресторан на Railway Road 17–18 в Далки, кухня французская с ирландскими морепродуктами. Меню только а-ля карт, цены высокие — блюда по 30–45 евро. Алкоголь подают, бронь возможна. Детям и шумным компаниям — не подойдёт. Я взяла луковый суп (пробовала впервые) — обычный, без вкусового «вау». Муж заказал чаудер — жидкий, не сливочный. На горячее у меня был рыбный пирог — пресный, без специй. Муж ел рыбу на гриле — норм, но не восторг. Лобстера, ради которого пришли — не было в меню, что расстроило. Обслуживание отличное — персонал вежливый и внимательный. Атмосфера уютная, интерьер классический, стильный. Плюсы: – Красивый интерьер – Отличный сервис – Тихо и спокойно – Необычный вход со звонком Минусы: – Дорого и маленькие порции – Меню скромное, еда не удивила – Лобстера не оказалось. Сюда стоит прийти ради атмосферы и сервиса, но не ради кухни. Красиво, спокойно, но вкус не оправдал цену.
