04/11/2025: Loved this little spot, excellent breakfast and really excellent coffee! Will go again.

29/10/2025: I've been here many times, always delicious food and coffee, and fantastic service. I was there yesterday with my grandsons. The 5 year old got a burger from the kids menu and loved it, it looked delicious I was hoping he'd leave some, he didn't!! The fussy 3 year old had sausages and also didn't leave a crumb. French toast and mini breakfast for the adults also perfect, coffee is always hot and delicious too.

13/02/2026: Waiting over an hour and 15 minutes at this time, not , paying top price, trying to cancel order and go to bed at this stage

07/02/2026: Such a shame that a place that serves both a variety of east Asian dishes and bubble tea (the only one in our neighborhood so far) may be so unsatisfying We had some issues with the tea in the past, related both to the product itself and to the payment method I had rice a couple of times and it was consistently bland The last time in particular the meat in the rice was almost completely lacking taste. It also didn't feel properly cooked

12/12/2025: Very odd Chinese chipper I went in the other night asking for chips and curry sauce and was told by girl behind the counter that they dont do chips and curry sauce 🤔 which I thought was quite bizzare

14/10/2025: Very poor quality food. Had it delivered to the house so I can't comment on the atmosphere. However, the children's noodles tasted only of burned onions, and the chicken seemed like it had been defrosted based on a rubbery texture. The pad Thai was not paid Thai at all but some spicy soupy interpretation, and the sushi was just ok. The can of coke was cold at least. Really really disappointing.

19/12/2025: Chips are good but unfortunately smallest portions ive ever come across in Dublin...back to the Chinese for me!!

02/03/2026: This place was recommended to us as “the best fish and chips in Dublin,” but the experience was very disappointing. The fish had a strong oily taste, and the batter was overly thick, resulting in a heavy, heavy texture. The chips were undercooked: soggy on the outside, firm in the center, with an unpleasant potato flavor, likely due to insufficient cooking. The fish was shown to me before preparation and had clearly come from the freezer. This isn't necessarily a problem in itself, but it contradicts the image of “fresh” product one might expect from an establishment touted as a benchmark. For €20, the value for money is clearly lacking. It's still decent fast food, but certainly not up to the advertised standard. In my opinion, there are much better options in Dublin.

02/03/2026: Absolutely delicious and very welcoming! We ate very well and the portions were generous; we even got a souvenir t-shirt.

29/01/2026: They served us the last-minute qujon chicken they had, with only 15 minutes left before closing. The taste wasn't very good, and I paid 10.50 euros for it. I don't recommend it.

30/09/2025: I have never had burnt naan bread and yellow daal makhni in my life. Attaching photos.Chef will have the decency atleast to cook the naan again , if it was burnt. Worst Indian food experience in Dublin. I think the restaurant is not even Indian. Its just named indian

20/11/2025: This place is quite consistent in messing up orders, today was the last straw for us. No accountability. The food here is barely worth it if their service was any good, without that this place is an easy skip. Recommend to avoid.

14/11/2025: Absolutely beautiful chips! My son got a chicken burger, and I got a quarter pounder, both cooked to perfection! My other son who had Autism will only eat some batter sausages and he devoured the batter sausages from here. The man serving was polite and very fast considering he was serving alone. Keep up the great service and food! We thoroughly enjoyed 🥰 Thank you!

06/03/2026: Just had a veggie pizza delivery. Appalling and awful. Smothered in a watery tomato sauce that i had 2 mop off. Just a pile of veg without thought or taste or flavour. Never again.

18/01/2026: The Peperoni pizza was okay ish but was mostly ham... we didnt ask for any ham we wanted Peperoni, then my veg pizza was supposed to be bbq based but is hot sauced beyond edible, it tastes disgusting, and half the jalapeño rolls didn't even have any jalapeño in it, im okay if one or 2 things go wrong but the entire order is wrong, after tasting it i have no intention on eating anything here. Made me ill.

03/03/2026: My first time going and I love it, the staff were so nice and the food was lovely we stayed for ages, we will definitely be back

14/02/2026: I placed an order online 2.5 hours ago and it still hasn’t arrived! Called after 1 hour to be told id be the first on the delivery list. After 2 hours I went to the restaurant myself and there’s loads of others here doing the same- to see where their order is! I’m still here; 2.5 hours waiting for this food in total. Not great business, you shouldn’t have accepted the order if you’re that busy.

28/11/2025: I was 4 minutes sitting inside the pub with a lovely group to enjoy one Christmas drink. The older barman accosted my poor friends with a sign in his hand angrily gesticulating stating everyone on the premise must buy a drink. 3/4 of my group had drinks. As I said we were here for one drink not making a night of it. He continued until I had to speak up and point out how poor his behaviour was. To launch an attack on an unsuspecting group who have entered and sat in a respectful manner. It is Christmas party season. The Slipper pub is half empty on a Friday night. Said barman has spend the last 20 minutes watching my friends and is now loudly commenting on his side of events to his cronies at the bar. Shameful behaviour. Very very poor experience.
