The best restaurants in Dublin

25/09/2025: Had the worst experience of any pub I've ever been in. The barman suffers from small angry man syndrome, he was extremely rude to myself and my friend, what makes it worse was that the owner was serving customers next to us. The barman has obviously forgot the meaning of a public house and would need to change his attitude or job, he clearly is not enjoying it.

20/09/2025: Unfriendly .. without any reason stopped giving out drinks. After asking for the manager, conversation was stopped..

06/07/2025: Sándwich de jamón y queso muy soso y con ingredientes procesados. Para el NCH cobrar precios tan altos es una vergüenza. Visité Nosh en Harold Cross la semana pasada y comí un sándwich fresco increíble. En comparación, NCH, que opera desde unas instalaciones pequeñas, no está en el juego. El personal fue muy atento y cortés, el servicio fue rápido. Fue la comida lo que los decepcionó.

25/08/2025: I just recently ordered from McDonald's Clondalkin and the driver was giving weird looks to my girlfriend when she appeared at the door. It was very rude and normally they are NOT like this but this one experience is going to make me think twice from ordering from this specific McDonald's. Please do better. (Edited) I just realised my burger bun at the bottom was also burnt, pretty ridiculous. Didnt even wanna eat it cuz idk what that couldve been and i was worried. Do better.

05/09/2025: I visited this week, pizza was good, the service from my waiter was excellent but the place is rather dirty. Especially upstairs where I was sitting, lots of old crumbs on the benches (and I was the first one in on the day, so the dirt must have been older?). The dirtiness made it very unpleasant unfortunately

24/08/2025: Terrible service, I don’t particularly feel like begging restaurants to take my money. They would not serve us outside, quoting a litany of issues, including that they didn’t have staff to service their 3 outdoors tables, all the while having people already eating at one of the tables. No amount of asking nicely or suggesting alternatives could persuade them to provide us with a pleasant experience on a rare sunny day! No thanks!

05/07/2025: Best fish and chip shop by far in Crumlin, friendly staff with great daily and lunch time specials 🙂 all day deliverys too!

09/04/2025: I’m Turkish and i come homeland of the doner kebab. I’ve tried German style doner kebab in Berlin a few times. This Balkan brothers do the best one. Thank you so much!!

16/05/2025: Pool table closed more than it's open , pint is good depends on who serves u , prices are about average , atmosphere good , music bingo Fridays band or dj on Sundays, no food being served at present but told it will be back soon on Sundays

24/06/2025: My friends and I attended a Tea Class with Jenna, and it was such a fun and educational experience. Jenna was so engaging and knowledgable, we learned so much, tasted some amazing teas, and loved every minute! Thank you Jenna, you're a star!

29/05/2025: Ordered a sausage roll that was quite clearly made the previous day. It was like eating sand paper. Another occasion ordered a chicken stuffing sandwich which had enough chicken in it to feed a small pigeon.

11/05/2025: Pedí una comida para llevar para mí y la familia, el arroz no estaba completamente cocido, la carne de res en el curry era como masticar un cinturón de cuero. Incluso las patatas fritas eran pobres, de toda la comida familiar la única parte decente eran las bolas de pollo. El único lugar para el que esta comida era buena era el cubo, nunca volveré a pedir desde aquí.

21/12/2024: These pizzas are absolutely amazing. It really is in my top 3 in Dublin. The other night I also ordered their chicken panini. OH MY GOD.!

18/12/2024: I've just had a smoked cod and chips from Green Italia in Rathmines, I must say the chips were fresh and cooked perfectly, the smoked cod, which was really large was cooked perfectly as well,staff were very friendly and talkative, which is always a good thing, a nice touch with the free garlic sauce, there was one downside which was the six very large bones that I pulled from the cod at different intervals, smoked cod has been a staple offering in Dublins many Italian takeaways for the last fifty years and more, I have never had bones before in a chipshop takeaway, cod needs to be filleted very well due to some very large and sharp bones within, it might be an idea to have a word with whoever is doing the filleting for you, as I said earlier, the fish and chips were perfect, but, when you have to watch every mouthful you take,it does take away from an otherwise really good experience 😋noticed that the owner doesn't answer reviews, never a good sign ,will think carefully about going there again, it's never good when you don't listen to your customers,think about it, your customers are what keeps you in business,!!!

23/09/2025: I’m really surprised to read the review posted by John Redmond dated 22/09/25, as my own experience at this café has been completely different. I was there at the same time and witnessed the interaction mentioned. The staff member in question was polite, respectful, and provided their usual great service. I’ve always found the team here to be welcoming, hardworking, and attentive, and the food and coffee are consistently excellent. It’s a shame to see such an unfair review when the staff go above and beyond for their customers.

22/09/2025: I popped in to this cafe for a quick coffee between meetings I ordered a cappuccino only to be served by quite possibly the rudest most abrasive individual ive had the misfortune to bump into. Absolutely no manners whatsoever.He literally slammed my coffee on the table I then approached the till to pay for the coffee only to endure yet more bad manners and aggressive attitude. To the individual dressed in black that ' served ' me this morning you really need to learn how to treat customers respectfully, your an absolute disgrace

15/06/2025: Have dinned here many times and have to say the food is fantastic, the staff are fast and friendly and the prices are reasonable for such a high quality restaurant. Delivering a true dining experience. Highly recommend it for an evening out.
