The best restaurants in Dublin

03/08/2025: We were not allowed to enter because one of my friends was wearing sportswear, we all have normal jobs and were intending to have a pint. DISCRIMINATION based on appearance. Shame and disrespect together with rudeness from the manager. At the same time security manager was smoking vape while talking to us (apparently it was ok according to their policies). The lowest hospitality standard I saw in Dublin.

18/04/2026: Centrally located with comfortable bed and strong shower. While they warn in advance about the noise from the neighbouring bars, that did not prepare me for how close to the rooms this is, or that it continued up to 90 mins past bar closing times. Great breakfast next door

19/10/2026: Nice food and service but 6.90 for a bowl of porridge is insulting, avoid this overpriced Dublin rip off trap.

14/10/2026: Stopped here for lunch and wanted a sandwich, but they were prepackaged. You take what you want and then they will heat it up for you. I got a pulled pork wrap and it was good, but I just wasn’t expecting prepackaged.

21/09/2026: A First Visit to the Far East Restaurant, Ballyfermot Saturday evening brought my daughter and me to the Far East Restaurant in Ballyfermot for the first time — she loves discovering new places, and this was a lovely find. We were looked after by a confident, competent young woman who clearly took pride in being part of this second-generation family restaurant. The welcome was warm, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. There was so much that we couldn't finish it all, so we happily boxed up the leftovers — and they tasted every bit as good when enjoyed later at home! If you enjoy Asian food, it's great to have a roomy, nicely decorated restaurant option right here in Ballyfermot. A lovely evening, good food and friendly service — sometimes it's nice to discover what's on your own doorstep. 🥢🍜

20/09/2026: Disgraceful service, waiter didn’t know what celiac disease was , husband ordered spare ribs and was told they don’t have any , in a Chinese restaurant 🙈 plus place was empty so not as if they were sold out 😂

08/08/2026: Don’t know what I was expecting, but i was disappointed by the tables not being clean, as you could clearly see grease,sauce residue… food was also on the floor, but don’t know who’s fault that is for the first time. the customers or workers. While eating i saw a worker “clean” a table, there was a couple of fries on the table and the worker just swiped the fries on the floor like it’s normal? Don’t know if this is acceptable in Ireland McDonalds, but that made me disappointed.

23/09/2026: I rarely leave reviews but the manager here was so bizarrely rude I felt compelled. We had a few drinks, then maybe had a 15 min break where we didn't order anything. He completely lost his cool and told us people were waiting for our table but the place was half empty. When I tried to speak to him he turned his back on us and ignored me until I just had to leave. Mad place. Would definitely avoid. Loads of other reviews reporting the same thing. It's the grey haired guy with the glasses.

17/10/2026: Extremely Disappointing – Poor Food and Even Worse Customer Service Very disappointing experience with Green Mango Lucan. Our order took 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive, and unfortunately, the quality of the food was just as bad as the delivery time. The rice was barely lukewarm and overcooked, while the chips were cold and undercooked. To make matters worse, a specific request we had made with our order was completely ignored. This isn’t a once-off either, as getting orders wrong seems to be a regular occurrence. What made the experience even more frustrating was the way our complaint was handled. The staff were borderline rude, showed little interest in resolving the issue and didn’t even offer a simple apology. Mistakes happen, and most customers understand that, but the complete lack of customer service or accountability is unacceptable, particularly when these issues keep happening. Really disappointing from a place we’ve ordered from regularly. The food was poor, the service was worse, and the handling of the complaint was a complete waste of time. Would not recommend.

23/09/2026: I have got 2 orders 2 nights in a row that have been wrong I have allergies and have put in the special instructions box and have been ignored both nights I rang the BLACKROCK store when I got it from and they hung up their customer service sucks I will no longer order from this place and will b contacting head office

07/09/2026: Worst Supermac’s I’ve had. Dry chicken both the burger and the tenders. Lettuce wasn’t fresh and wilted to mush. Shite chips. I’m usually a big fan too but this place was terrible.

24/09/2026: Ordered a battered sausage meal here today only to discover the food is cooked in oil now which tastes disgusting and not beef dripping won’t be back
