The best restaurants in Dublin

09/03/2025: I don't want to winge like all the other Irish...but it has recently been changed somehow. Different staff. The guy seemed reluctant to take orders so left there for 15 minutes despite we being the only ones at the counter. I think it's to try force customers to use the screen menu near the enterance - which unlike McDonalds - was very confusing. All I wanted was a simple Whopper meal. Think you can find that most popular one on the menu ?.. have a try ! All I could see were words like " value "...I mean ! .. what the hell ?.. Oh and the bg music they use now awfull. I mean it's REALLY awfull !

06/03/2025: Brought my two children and my partner here the other day I should have just gone a couple doors down to McDonald's. I ordered from the kiosk machine, a burger for me and my partner and a meal for both of my kids. I chose the table service option and brought a table number to my table. After about 15 minutes of waiting. I could hear the young man calling a number from the main counter to be collected. I thought this couldn't be us as we are getting table service yet the place is empty so maybe it is me I walked up to the counter to find out that it was our food. I said the young man I thought it was table service to which he barely replied oh sorry. When I returned to the table my partner pointed out that there was no straws no napkins and no sauces that was supposed to come with the kids meals, and the kids drinks were wrong also. I returned to the counter to point this out. When I got to the counter I could clearly hear the two young guys cursing, and speaking in a manner that was absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant with kids in it. I pointed out that he had got the drinks wrong to which he said we don't have any of those drinks. To which I replied maybe the machine should tell us that when we're paying for them. I returned to my table thinking the confusion was over. And I opened up my burger (the big bang) to find the cheese Patty was over cooked - over deep fried and which made it hard and chewy. It wasn't this point I decided I will never be back to this waste of space again. Also one more thing to point out the young staff are so lazy in this place that half of the seats are closed to the public and the lights turned off so they don't have to clean them at the end of the day. In the 50% of the shop that was still available to sit down only half of the areas had the lights turned on. And half of those tables were dirty with food still on.. So there was literally people sitting in dark corners eating food. It is Burger King at the end of the day and I don't have high hopes for a fast food place like this. But I would at least think that the staff that their hiring can read a piece of paper and put the correct things on the tray, I could teach a monkey to do that. Don't waste your time our money

18/02/2025: Very bad service because when I order a cappuccino with oat milk in a medium glass, they give me half the glass with the product and the other half just foam, and when I complain, they just look at me badly

29/12/2024: The service is good but the place smells disgusting! Homeless people are harassing customers that are dining in so you can’t really stay inside and enjoy your coffee. The management should do something with security as even the staff are being disrespected by the stinky guys loitering in the cafe. I felt unsafe throughout my short stay on this place.

30/03/2025: Have been here few times, myself and my sister decided to bring our mam here for mothers day, 29-3-25, mam is 85 years young 😁 we all had tuscan chicken, was gorgeous 😋😊 also gluten free which was brilliant as im coeliac, my sis had apple crumble and custard, amazing, i had the trifle also gluten free, was lovely, no dessert for mam as she is diabetic, tea for us also, everything was perfect and great value, staff are really nice and helpful, will call again soon, thank you all so much, 😊😊😊

28/02/2025: Salmon was very tasty, as was the apple tart. However, mash potato and carrots were not hot - barely warm - unforgivable - but easily fixable.

17/03/2025: Unique donuts, like from childhood! I don't know where they got this recipe, but it's exactly the same as my great-grandmother used to make. My favorite is jam, not too sweet, fresh, fruity taste, kids like caramel/chocolate more! Definitely worth trying and loving these donuts... 🍩

15/03/2025: I’ve always enjoyed Butlers Cafe and have been a regular for quite some time, but after my recent experience, I won’t be returning. I ordered my usual coffee, and unfortunately, the barista over-poured the drink, causing it to drip all down the side of the cup. I politely asked if he could make a new one, but he refused, which I thought was quite unprofessional. When my mum, a regular herself, went back in to ask for a replacement, his response was, “She’s even fussier than you.” It was not only rude but also very sloppy customer service. I understand mistakes happen, but how they’re handled speaks volumes. After being loyal customers for so long, this treatment was enough to make us rethink ever visiting again. Disappointing experience overall.

05/02/2025: This is a very popular coffee spot which makes finding a seat difficult at times. The coffee is excellent complimented by the high quality complimentary chocolate that accompanies it. The constant flow of customers to this business indicates that many people seem to agree with me that this is a good spot for coffee and chat.

23/01/2025: Chicken was 100% gone off or tainted in the thai red curry. i took one bite and knew straight away it was off. will not be ordering again. Also i can see other people has said the same thing and the owner is replying with the same response. " the problem was not with the food but with portian. its not defamation if other people are saying the same thing. Your welcome and good riddance

No hay consideración de que la gente está pagando por encima de las probabilidades de su comida y ni siquiera pueden verificar para asegurarse de que es correcto. Cuando llaman para aconsejar que mal, actúan como si fuera un inconveniente para ellos, en lugar de para ti. Falta seriamente servicio al cliente.

15/03/2025: Forever forgetting to include items from the order. Isn't the cheapest so would expect to get the full order placed but rarely do. If ring to advise them, they're rude and act like they've been inconvenienced rather than the customer.

26/03/2025: There several staff working but no one take the order. Also, the supervisor, a girl with long hair, seems Diana，impolite, condescending, making the vibe incredibly unpleasant. Her attitude was unprofessional and arrogant — honestly, I have no idea how someone like her ended up in a managerial position. Definitely not the kind of service anyone should have to deal with.

25/03/2025: I recently moved to the Stillorgan area, and as someone who has always loved Starbucks, I can confidently say that this location is the best. It's not just about the great coffee, but also the amazing staff. A special shout-out to Sergio and Tom – from day one, they've made me feel right at home. They’re always polite, professional, and have even customized drinks to my liking. These two truly stand out and make this Starbucks exceptional. I couldn’t pass up the chance to leave a review for them. A big thank you to both! From now on, I’ll be getting my coffee here exclusively. Thanks again Best regards. Alfonso Alexander

27/12/2024: I had a delicious tofu and veg ramen here 2 months ago I told lots of people how good the food was so decided to get a take away for the whole family as a Christmas treat this evening. Unfortunately instead of the delicious ramen I got a bowl of boiled speghetti, bean sprouts and sauce. The spaghetti ended up in the bin. Himself had the chow mein which had no sauce. Such a shame, won't be going back. The free chicken wings were lovely though

14/12/2024: This is my relaxing place to go in Dublin. The owner was very nice and the service was good. Excellent spot to visit and relax after a long week of work. I enjoy the music and atmosphere.

11/01/2025: The service is good. The food is good in most aspects, my only complaints are the use of salt is excessive and the crispy chicken itself is just crispy, no chicken. It seems to have absolutely no chicken in the crispy chicken which is just a way for them to maximise revenue and cut costs. Other than that the food is ready quick, staff are polite and most items are good.
