21/06/2025: Review: Visited on 21st June 2025 I had a very disappointing experience at this shop. I came in to order 15 large muffins for my son’s birthday at school on Monday. I asked if I could place the order for Saturday, but I was told that this was not possible, which I understood. So I then asked if I could pay for the muffins right now and have them held until the following day, Sunday, for pick‑up. The staff member checked with a supervisor, and I was told “no” to this request as well. I politely asked to speak with the supervisor myself, but she didn’t come out to acknowledge or discuss the request. This was very frustrating and felt like very poor customer service, especially for an order that was important to my son’s birthday.

19/06/2025: Mannings in Blanch was once a really nice shop, staff were once very friendly and cakes were really good. Sad to see that it's not what it used to be, over priced, very little filling in cream cakes and disinterested staff...

23/01/2025: Chicken was 100% gone off or tainted in the thai red curry. i took one bite and knew straight away it was off. will not be ordering again. Also i can see other people has said the same thing and the owner is replying with the same response. " the problem was not with the food but with portian. its not defamation if other people are saying the same thing. Your welcome and good riddance

07/06/2025: I always get the munchie box or spice box when I’m in Dublin it’s lovely I have to say and great value ! Staff always attentive and helpful !

11/05/2025: We are regular customers. Food today was not great. 2 boxes of Fried rice were overcooked - we sent them back and got them replaced but still v disappointed.

05/05/2025: Very bad experience, with an angry and very rude waitress. They didn't have what they offered, prices were very high and very bad quality.

27/05/2025: The take out food from here is always excellent. It’s also very good value for money. However, delivery times can be very long - over an hour at some times.

17/05/2025: Smallest portion of ribs I have ever purchased, the spring rolls were tiny and to be honest tasteless Chicken balls were stodgy and soggy Restaurant was empty on a Saturday night now I know why ! I won’t be back

18/02/2025: Havnt been here for a long time. As usual nothing changes. Great food and value. Staff so nice and kind. A lovely big bright restaurant. Only downside not wheelchair accessible. Parking on the street as no car park for customers. Depending on when you go it's paid parking. Don't let that put you of, well worth a visit.

03/06/2025: More of a hostel than anything, teens in pjs everywhere. Not really sure why it's called shuffleboard bar when there's only 2. Described on Google as "good cocktails" but the bartender had no clue what he was doing, seemed new and untrained. Disappointing when the venue looks like it had so much potential.

02/06/2025: We were a party of 14 and booked both tables. It was great fun and we had no problems at the venue, the staff we helpful and it was all booked online. Where else in Dublin can 14 people be entertained for £20 (not counting drinks lol)

27/03/2025: Over priced food €4.50 for chips and €10.50 for a bit of fish for lunch chips were raw, and the chicken was reheated from the night previous no even specials for school kids that were their, no effort

22/02/2025: Sausage box is unreal, as well as standard chips and battered sausage. Top notch, and run by a very nice crew.

06/05/2025: I absolutely love Chrysanthemum. Their food is the best Chinese food in the area by far! I order from them all the time and the delivery is always super quick. I particularly love their satay sauce and salt and chilli chicken which are both 10/10.

18/04/2025: Myself and my friends were here for a meal and I can honestly say we won't be back. The food was bland and tasteless, service was shocking nobody asked would we like another drink or water when the 4 of us sat there with empty glasses at that stage we had to try get the waiters attention to order drinks We also waited about 40 mins between starter and main,the restaurant wasn't that busy. Definitely a no return from us

14/06/2025: Ordered food at 12:00—didn’t arrive until nearly 1:30. No apology, no urgency. I paid for a large 7-Up, they showed up with a cheap can instead. Called to get it sorted and got talked to like I was the problem. Called again… they hung up. Tried again, ignored. Three strikes and you're out. That’s not a mistake, that’s just disrespectful. If you want overpriced delays, missing items, and rudeness on top, this is your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favour—go literally anywhere else

09/06/2025: We placed an online order - not too big, not too small. After one hour, instead of delivery, we've got cancellation message for no reason. We couldn't cook today, we're starving, and now we have to wait for another takeaway. Disgrace.

05/06/2025: Very good quality food. Very friendly and professional staff.

01/06/2025: The food is perfect, I love everything about the place, the food, the service, and the price you could get 2 sausages both the size of your face, a bag of chips the size of an Xbox series x and a drink all for €6.50 ( I couldn't find anything else for a better scale but they are that size )

04/06/2025: Had hoped to celebrate our teams cup victory but the bouncers @ the door ruined that! Full of their own importance and as I had been in there in 20 years, won’t be trying again for another 20!!

08/06/2025: One coffee, waited over 20 minutes, 5 past ten and I got handed a cold coffee. Staff members are all helpful and so nice, but it's a bit chaotic with handing the orders out. Maybe more staff needed? New galaxy caramel latte was underwhelming..
