The best restaurants in Dublin

21/10/2025: Had someone order me a spicy box out of here, it was terrible and looked nothing like the picture on the site(photo of half it in a bowl to follow alongside the pic on website) was like something reheated thrown into a box on top of charging an extra 15c for the can of coke with no return logo, won't be rushing back.

23/10/2025: It's a Starbucks in a food court in a shopping centre. I can't fault the drinks or food selection. There are usually seats free, unless it's a particularly busy time, but that's to be expected anywhere. The staff are LOVELY, friendly, polite and efficient. I dropped my coffee on my last visit, a venti mocha all over the floor. They were so kind after I'd made such an awful mess. Honestly, their graciousness and patience was heartwarming.

04/09/2025: The food was amazing! The pitas were overflowing with delicious protein, salad, and sauces. The taste was great! Can't wait to go back

30/08/2025: The food is not so good, not testy service was good enough, the bathroom is so bad, not sanitarian at all, shawarma was bad, burger is better, kids meal is good, all meat and chicken is halal

27/09/2025: Ordered fresh cod and chips . Extremely greasy and undercooked. Disgusting 🫣 🤮. NEVER AGAIN ! Food ended up in the bin ! What a waste of money !

09/06/2025: Slow delivery and over-salted dishes! Ordered takeaway last Friday night and it took at least 75 mins for it to be delivered. We ordered the mixed starters, some of which were nice but the Chicken Satay was barely edible because of the amount of salt in the sauce (we scraped the sauce off to make it edible) and the Ribs were so salty that they were completely inedible - and we would both consider ourselves to be fond of salt! Main courses were very nice (Amber Beef and Thai Red Curry) but overall they didn't make up for the rest.

24/06/2025: Food is good , delivery completely unpredictable- can be 20 minutes or 120 minutes. They don’t use just app delivery drivers

18/09/2025: They demand that the students carefully prepare every assignment and are always punctual and up to code yet : - they cannot answer a phone ( you should be so lucky to get past reception) - they cannot get their ducks in order regarding student fees ( I told them in year 1 that the balance outstanding wasn’t updated after early registration and after tons of emails they just tripled the amount owed until finally somebody apt had a look and rectified the issue) - they are poor communicators and complicated answers when a simple yes or no was required. - they locked me out of moodle and themis over some made up fee that they later credited- no apology whatsoever -they were yet to send me an invite to register for following year with hours until the new semester started. - they will happily take your money, bombard you with surveys that lead to no change and I feel like it is always somebody else’s job to look after the students. - some teachers have no business being in front of a class and the faculty ignores constant complaints from the students ( I personally know a good few people that are unhappy with certain teachers yet nothing is done) I would probably avoid recommending this college to my peers going forward.

29/08/2025: Griffith College – Psychology Bachelor’s Degree Review I joined Griffith College thinking I’d be getting a solid Psychology degree. Shoutout to the few lecturers who actually showed up for their students — you were the only thing keeping this place from being a total flop. The rest? Absolute chaos. The departments don’t talk to each other, so every tiny issue turns into a full-blown scavenger hunt. Wanna know your assignment results? Be prepared to chase five different offices. Can’t log into Zoom? Same circus. My personal breaking point was the tuition fees. First, I was told €8K. Then it was suddenly €4K. Then they emailed me a random Excel screenshot like, “here ya go.” When I asked for clarification, I got the iconic line: “It’s provided in the screenshot?” (aka: “Can you read?”). Professionalism who?? So I went full detective mode emailing other colleges, researching transfers, stressing myself out… only to find out the actual tuition I owed was €255. Yup. Two hundred and fifty-five euros. Because when I switched from full-time to part-time, I had already paid for those modules last year. Meaning all the chaos, stress, and wasted time? Completely unnecessary. They could’ve just told me that from the start. Instead, they let me spiral while sending me Excel screenshots like they were serving Michelin-star information. If you enjoy unhelpful replies, endless email loops, and numbers that change more than Irish weather, Griffith is the place for you.

03/10/2025: first time there ordered spice bag and curry sauce paid for it then sat down 60 seconds later my order was ready . brought it home chicken was rubber no taste of spice and sauce was full of salt

04/09/2025: After being a long time customer I will never order from this restaurant again! For the first time we ordered of their app as we usually order of just eat but when we got a leaflet last week encouraging us to order directly we decided to since we order quite frequently, however after an hour waiting I rang to see where our food was the man on the phone told me he’s very busy and only has two drivers, to which I responded saying well has our food left ? He told us it hadn’t been cooked!! Very frustrated at this stage I asked for a refund as I said I wasn’t willing to wait longer he told me no we’re busy what do you want me to say? I told him I appreciate that but I’m not waiting any longer especially if the food hasn’t been cooked, he told me to get onto just eat for refund I said I ordered from your app as we were promoted it last week, he said you want refund get on to just eat again very frustrated I then raised my voice and said I didn’t order from just eat I ordered from you how can they refund me?! He hung up the phone, I drove down to the restaurant for him to start to tell me I was yelling at him and I said yes as you were yelling at me and you weren’t listening you kept telling me to go call just eat when I didn’t order through them. He refunded me and I went to another local restaurant.

17/09/2025: Ordered sandwiches for a party absolutely beautiful

16/09/2025: We ordered a large cake for €76 euro for a 21st, and while the presentation was lovely, the flavour itself was honestly revolting. The sponge was very dry and thin and the cake was 80% buttercream - which honestly just tasted like pure butter. There was barely any jam too. Only thing I can praise were the macaroons on the top of the cake :// very disappointing for €76. Definitely style over substance.

04/08/2024: FYI this place is closed. They took my booking and deposit and never informed me they were closing. It was for my sister's hens. Thank god for the hairy lemon across the road fitting all 12 of us in!
