25/01/2026: Honestly shocking. Ordered in store and waited 45 minutes for McDonald’s — fast food that’s meant to be fast. No updates, no apology, just standing around while other orders slowly came out. Completely disorganised and clearly understaffed or badly managed. Food wasn’t even hot when I finally got it. If you’re going to make people wait nearly an hour, at least warn them. Won’t be returning.

23/01/2026: There is a very rude person next to the stairs I bought a cheeseburger and wanted to go upstairs to sit he wouldn't let me also he didn't let me use the toilet

16/04/2025: I visited this fantastic bar before Christmas last year, and it exceeded all expectations unfortunately the place has been shut down now . The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with great music and friendly staff and lovely food by ‘Laacha Restaurant’ .

04/04/2025: It's closed. The website and IG look alive, same with open table. But there's a chain lock on the gate and the security at power court tells me they've closed up about 6 or 8 weeks ago.

24/09/2025: The staff doesn't seem to have any idea what a kitchen is, their clothes don't look very clean. As for the food, it used to be much tastier, but now instead of having a lot of cheese and ham (for example), they put a ton of sauce on it, so it tastes terrible! Unfortunately, Dominos in Ongar has become part of the Indian street food family.

21/01/2026: After a long busy day I recently picked up a delicious munchie box, onion rings, spring rolls with free prawn crackers. I pre-ordered through the website & everything was ready to go when I arrived The muchie box was hot & packed full with chips, crispy chicken, chicken wings, pork rib, crunchy onion & red chilli and curry sauce. It was really tasty but a little bit too salty for me (I don't use salt usually) but no one had this issue. The leftovers made for a tasty snack the next day after been reheated in our air fryer. I can also recommend the chicken & sweetcorn soup that I tried a different day.

27/12/2025: Food was disgusting pulled out a long curly brown hair , heaving

01/11/2025: Extremely dry muffins. We asked for a refund and they offered to give us new muffins which were just as dry as the other ones. Staff is not very friendly.

12/10/2025: Customer service here was honestly a mess. I got overcharged €2 for a hot chocolate, and when I brought it up, the staff tried to brush it off by saying that’s what I ordered. I had to explain three times that the math was wrong. In the end, instead of giving me the money back, they handed me a loyalty card and said that was the same value. Really poor way to handle a simple mistake.

02/12/2025: I tried a spice bag for the first time. It was very heavily seasoned, which I enjoyed, although I can see how others might think it was too much. The price felt slightly high, but I'm not from the area, so it may be reasonable. That said, the portion was extremely large, enough to feed two people. I appreciated how the restaurant used foil packs and a foil lined bag, to help keep the food warm.

01/11/2025: Took two hours for delivery to arrive. The last delivery we got took one hour thirty minutes to arrive. Could not get through by phone to query where delivery was. Driver who arrived needs a lesson in customer care. Avoid if you are hungry. There are better takeaways in area.

10/10/2025: Over hour &15 mins delivery food cold &gull of grease uneatable never get food from here again

24/06/2025: Food is good , delivery completely unpredictable- can be 20 minutes or 120 minutes. They don’t use just app delivery drivers

03/12/2025: I didn't notice on the menu about halal food. I walked by the shop today at lunchtime and the meat was left outside in boxes with halal written all over the boxes. As a Christian I find this disturbing. Why would you feed us food blessed by another religion. I will never set foot in this shop again

14/11/2025: The girl youve working in there is a cheeky mouth i got chips tonight was handed them straight away even doh they saw i just ordered Chinese from the ocean inn next to it its in the same room “ the chips were for someone else & so he knew id be waiting a while yet the man gave me the chips straight away!! I said sure I’ll be here a while give them to someone else for now as Ive to wait .. he then said sure eat them there now while waiting being smart with me “ I said they weren’t for me its all I said !! and miss madam very smartly said laughing “ & turned away “ says Oh thats the thanks you get for quick service should be greatful laughing in my actual face 🤣🙌!!! well by the time i was finished with her she wasn't laughing ran into the back like a bold child cmer lads im 36 im not going to be spoke to like that now I'm shocked and saddened to see you allow a toe rag like her to speak to your customers like that she didn’t even say sorry or did any of youse !! and if I hadn’t have said anything you would have kept laughing in a customer’s face I'm paying for there service shes being paid to work there very very bad on all there behalf laughing why cause I wanted fresh food !! The chips u then gave me weren't even cooked absolute joke !!! Oh boy was she sorry 🤣🤣 the service is as laughable as the food !!

23/12/2025: DO NOT ORDER HERE! I ordered two spice bags and salt chilli chicken balls (paid for extras chicken in both spice bags) After they came it was so plain I could have made frozen chips and chicken myself. When called up they were shouting in the background over it because I was unhappy. They then at first refused a refund. Then wanted me to bring it back when I had paid for delivery? Then wanted to only give me 20% off my next order. Eventually it ended in them coming getting it looking at the food and berating me over the phone saying there was nothing wrong and I kept photos as proof! It was honestly disgraceful I have never had such a bag experience in my life and there behavior was appalling. Don’t even bother checking this place out

14/12/2025: My son ordered a meal deal and 5 minutes later they cancelled the order and kept his money, I rang and asked why they said their website was run by a third party and he'd get his refund on two days, scammers

03/01/2026: Horrible food asked for a spice box I told them it was for my daughter to please make sure it’s not spicy, payed €15 for 2 chicken pieces and 2 wedges … big box very exaggerated little food for €15 horrible the best I can describe is discusting people especially if it’s for a kid and asked politely not to put spice and still did , it went all in the bin waste of time and disappointment first and last time I get food from here

01/11/2025: didn’t go in store but rang for delivery the man who answered got very rude at first fine gave my address after asked if there accepting cash inal and when telling my order he was screaming down the phone hello will u just give me ur order so i repeated multiple times and after he asked cash or card said cash then told me he wasn’t taking cash so i hung up and then my friend rang and he was perfectly fine with him and accepted his cash and everything got extremely rude with me and felt offended that he my male friend serious and not me very poor service that has turned me off ordering again food was good but not worth dealing with them

21/09/2025: Couldn't tell you about the atmosphere as I ordered on just eat , delivery man was on his toes as we are located in corduff , can't blame him , he was a nice fella all the same. The big issue here was the scaldy pizza , the thing was proper doughy and undercooked, could have used a good 5 to 10 mins more in the oven , ill put up pics of the slightly cooked under carriage. This will be the last time I order from here , proper waste. Wont let me post a picture. Your lucky , because the absolute state of the pizza we got
