27/11/2024: Pizza is good and so is garlic bread. I think staff churn is high, so at times I've been impressed with service and food. However there have been times when I was disappointed.

23/12/2024: Good quality 4 star pizza. As you come to expect from 4 star. Great tuesday deals available with collection. It can be busy at dinner time on Tuesday tho, so order in advance online. Great local location. No seating area if you wanted to eat there.

11/01/2025: Fourth floor study hall worker, Caoimhe Ní Mhaicín, racial discrimination, abuse of rights. On Saturday, we were studying in the self-study room we had already booked. However, when we exceeded the appointment time and forgot to renew the reservation next period of time, she came through the door and yelled at us angrily, saying we would be kicked out if anyone else had booked it. I explained that we had forgotten to rebook because we were focused on our studies, and it was a very quiet Saturday, we weren’t disturbing anyone. (We would have left if someone else had booked.) This worker could have reminded us to renew the appointment calmly, rather than yelling at us Asian students with such an aggressive attitude, which made us feel disrespected and aggrieved. I feel disappointed and indignant that NCI employs such a rude and impolite staff member. I hope NCI will address this issue and talk to this employee about her discriminatory behavior.

09/11/2024: Had to try their famous fish and chips! The fried fish was very light and crispy - the batter wasn't too heavy or soggy at all. The chips were already salted so I didn't need to add anything but in terms of the fish to potato ratio, maybe a little too much potato 🤣

27/12/2024: Horrible experience tonight! The stuff was very rude to me and use to me rude words. I ordered Erdinger. He couldn’t understand and back to me speak English and he used rude words that I can’t text here. Never ever again visit this pub!

12/12/2024: Terrible service, I was there for lunch, the staff walked around like zombies, didn't check the tables, don't do the basics of a service, they need training in how is done a basic service in a pub, i see they are all from south America, the standard of service they know certainly don't match with the basics of a european country, a shame that need to be adress from the management point, training this people will improve alot you return.

01/07/2024: Honestly, when we are all being told to “support local business in Cork” I have to ask myself why sometimes. Let me start by saying the woman (who maybe is the owner) was extremely rude. I sat at the counter on the stool and waited as she chatted to a man for 3 minutes solid before asking me if I was “alright” in a rude manner as if I were lost. She then charged me €4 for a hot chocolate on her credit card machine which I didn’t notice until sometime later, despite the fact that it said €3.50 on the menu. It was a cup of lukewarm milk and I left half of it behind. No goodbye or thanks as I left as the woman was simply too busy talking to her friend. Not recommended.

23/11/2024: This is beside the Graduate pub at Killiney shopping centre...We went there for a friends birthday. The food was fabulous, the staff were so accommodating with food choices. 6☆ all around.

14/11/2024: Friendly Chinese restaurant the welcome was good the food was ok without further recommending

31/10/2024: Stopped by for a quick dinner after work and ordered the nasi goreng. The dish featured a generous portion of perfectly fried rice, mixed with tender shrimp slices and fresh vegetables, all tossed in a flavorful and spicy Indonesian sauce. Each element complemented the dish beautifully. As a delightful bonus, it came with two chicken skewers and a rich, succulent satay sauce. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly and attentive—altogether, a satisfying and well-rounded dining experience.

16/10/2024: I have been eating in chinese restaurants for many years, but I have to admit this one is the worst I have ever had. I will call them cooks not chefs, but the cooks can't even follow the simplest recipe. Food was tasteless and overcooked. Thrown together by a person who obviously does not like his job. I suggest the first thing to do is to send them back to school to learn how to cook. One of our orders was a spice bag, I have no idea how they put this together. It was awful.... Help, people in ireland would eat any old shite...... Have some pride in your product.

04/08/2024: FYI this place is closed. They took my booking and deposit and never informed me they were closing. It was for my sister's hens. Thank god for the hairy lemon across the road fitting all 12 of us in!

12/10/2024: Went to a Japanese restaurant , but it’s actually just a bar. Then the waiter says that they DONT have sushi, sashimi or any kind of seafood at all. Very dissatisfied, I ordered ramen that was bland and tasteless. I don’t recommend this place at all.

12/09/2024: Food was good. But didn’t have sushi as advertised, claiming it wasn’t the season. Inside is not japenese looking at all but instead it’s like a regular pub. Big portions of good food. But over priced. Man playing slots in the corner was quite annoying, it was very loud game.
