15/07/2026: My experience of BOSS HOGS in Clondalkin Village, AVOID!! Today I went on a walk with my 3.5 month old in his pram, he wasn’t due a bottle but as nature calls he looked for a bottle and I couldn’t find anywhere for shade, laurels wasn’t open, passed east village (would usually go here and they would have no problem if you buy or don’t buy but I get a coffee here every day) Sat outside, which was empty and started to feed my son as a girl came out and said “you can’t feed here babe” I said babe? Never asked me did I need a coffee or such. I went inside said to the manager that it’s so warm out I can’t find shade and human nature calls a baby needs to be fed and he said that wasn’t his problem it was for his customers only, I said she never once asked did I need anything but there is no such thing left of empathy around here no wonder businesses close with that attitude! I had to leave with my baby crying and hungry, I would have bought the whole shop and more if I had to feed him. Would always give my business to East Village, living in Monastery and on Maternity leave I buy a lot of coffees, they’re so accommodating with babies and mothers, unlike boss hogs which is clearly always empty anyway!!

17/08/2026: Ordered from them and they kept pushing the time to deliver back for up to 2 hours. When I asked the 4th driver I was assigned to ask when it would be ready, he told me they didn’t have something for my order. How hard was it to ring me?? I doubt they would’ve sent anything out and hoped I didn’t ask for a refund. Ridiculous.

16/07/2026: The bread isn't nice and there was a bin overflowing behind the counter. Never again.

06/05/2026: Friendly staff. Nice and spacious.

15/03/2026: They prioritise delivery orders over people that are actually waiting in line. If you don’t mind to wait 10 minutes to order (no one in-front of me) for an over priced food and coffee, this place is for you.

28/06/2026: Most recent visit, I was ready to order. Man behind the counter walked who was at least 35 acted like a primary school child. I asked him a question about the a pizza meal deal, as I was hoping to get a specifc pizza with chips and a can. Man ran off in a puff of smoke and said "come to me when you are ready to order"! WHEN I WAS TRYING TO ORDER THE PIZZA. Should employ people who havent sat theor junior cert yet. They would have more of a cop on then him.

10/05/2026: I'll start with the positives, extra piece of chicken in snack box, driver was a gent, Followed note Chips tasted like where cooked last week, Chicken was nice but skin was soggy.. I'll take my tune ordering again Used to be lovely

09/04/2026: I had high expectations for Macari in Inchicore, especially since the place itself has a nice ambiance and looks like a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a meal. The seating area is decent, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant enough for a casual visit. Unfortunately, the food did not match the setting at all. The pizza was very disappointing. It arrived cold and did not seem properly cooked. The base felt underdone, and the overall texture just wasn’t right. The taste was also quite off, and the cheese in particular had an odd flavor that I didn’t enjoy. I had ordered a chicken pizza, but the chicken toppings didn’t seem properly cooked either, which made the experience worse. I also ordered chicken wings, hoping they would be better, but they were equally underwhelming. The flavor was lacking, and they didn’t taste fresh. For a place that looks inviting and comfortable, the food quality really needs improvement. It’s frustrating when the ambiance is good but the main reason for visiting, the food, falls short. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the pizza or wings here unless there are noticeable improvements in quality and consistency.

08/06/2026: Really could be more clear that the bacon cheese fries come with garlic sauce all over them half the order not able too be eaten

17/03/2026: Very poor service !!! Ordered online and supposed to be ready in 10 minutes. We arrived 15 minutes after the order went in and we still have to wait another 25 minutes in the shop. I won't recommend !

15/08/2026: Really lovely staff and nice quality food. Good portion sizes and very reasonable pricing. Wide range of options for food too. Good quality chips. Fish batter needed a bit more but the fish was good quality. The bad reviews are very unjust based on my experience. Would definitely go back for a nice easy takeaway.

04/07/2026: Wasted €19 on a Spice Box. It was a complete disappointment. The food quality was very poor and definitely not worth the price. I wouldn't recommend buying from here.

15/12/2025: I've collected takeaway from here a few times in recent weeks. I typically ordered crispy chicken and black bean noodles. I found them pretty good and decent value. Recommended

27/06/2026: Been ordering for years. It used to be perfect. The last year a little less consistsnt and quality dropping. Last night I threw it all out, the chicken breast can no longer be called chicken and the curry sauce was watery. Staff are great but food was very disappointing last night. Ill go back if/when its fixed and using quality irish meats and Ill remove this review.

19/06/2026: Very disappointed. Every time I order the Spicy Bag, it’s different. Sometimes it’s great, but other times (like today) the fries are soggy and the chicken is drenched in oil. I don’t understand why the same menu item is never consistent. I’ve even taken photos because the difference between orders is so noticeable. Unfortunately, today’s order was poor quality.

01/07/2026: The place is absolutely filthy and covered in rubbish and despite the place being empty, not one of the staff could care enough to clean it. They’re constantly forgetting items from the order and have a generally snippy mood when asked about missing items. Report lodged with the health inspector

14/07/2026: I visited this all-you-can-eat restaurant with my family, and we were all extremely disappointed. The food was not tasty at all. There were only a few dishes to choose from, and none of them tasted good. The restaurant was also very dirty, which made the experience even worse. You have to pay in advance, and in my opinion, the price is far too high for the quality of the food and the overall experience. Everyone in my family was unhappy, and we would definitely never come back. I am honestly surprised that a restaurant in this condition is still allowed to stay open without better hygiene inspections. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

20/07/2026: Food was below average for a 4star hotel. We stayed the night and bought a package deal which included 3 course meal. Wings were so dry as if they had been sat under heater for long time, then tossed in cheap sauce. The main was a burger which sounded nice on the menu, but when arrived was bleak looking, nothing you couldn't throw together at home. Very underwhelming. Dessert was tasty, again nothing special but how wrong can you go with a chocolate pudding. Unfortunately wont be back.

16/05/2026: Unfortunately, this hotel and its restaurants were booked for us through work, so we had to stay and dine here for 4 days. I normally wouldn’t leave a negative review, but I honestly want future guests to know what to expect if they’re staying here for multiple days. The food across the restaurants was very mediocre. The menu is extremely limited, most dishes were overly salty, and overall everything felt bland and uninspired. After a couple of days, it genuinely became difficult to find anything enjoyable to eat. If you’re staying here for more than a night or two, just keep in mind that you may end up relying on these restaurants, and the dining experience is unfortunately one of the weakest parts of the stay.

06/06/2026: Food was served on time, so no issue there. But the taco chips are very disappointing! Bland beyond belief, and nowhere near that price-tag. Would do well to learn how to do a proper taco chips first, I think. It was like having some boiled beef on chips - very disappointing from what's supposed to be a proper chippy. Chicken fillet burger was sloppy. Chicken was tasty and big, but found the burger very damp altogether. Just not the best. Wasn't the worst I've had, but you expect better from a place like this.
