22/09/2025: Delivery drivers are the rudest ever. They call you 2-3 min before reaching your place asking you to hurry up downstairs. If you’re not fast enough, they leave because they won’t bother parking their car and walking to your door. Be prepared to walk to the street in your slippers and collect the pizza from their car window.

02/11/2025: I stopped to wait for a friend, I saw someone eating something from here and it was smelling really tasty. So I got the Sunday special €8.99 and a can of Sprite which was in the fridge nice and cold. There was veg, chicken and a sweet and spicy sauce served with noodles! Super tasty
29/10/2025: After paying 7.5 euros of rice and chicken,
You are left with 2 grand options, either pay 2 more euros and buy the sauce or choke on the rice you just bought 😉.
Nice way to make money...
10 euros for that combo ,
makes me a lost customer .
Disclaimer :place was really recommendable before...

The coffee is always bitter, they don't have basic things such as cinnamon that you would need to cover up the taste of their bad quality coffee. People only come in here to get out of the rain. The staff don't really seem to care about the quality they serve anyway, so complaining doesn't go far.

Unfortunately last night I got one and the meat tasted off on the pizza 😕
Chicken tenders are tasty
And deal is a good price
But having a 16inch pizza you have to throw due to the toppings tasting off feels like a waste of money 😞
28/10/2025: Crazy no drinks with a 30 euro Meal I would not touch the place again. Scandalous behaviour.
Every other pizza gives the drinks except this one.

01/11/2025: didn’t go in store but rang for delivery the man who answered got very rude at first fine gave my address after asked if there accepting cash inal and when telling my order he was screaming down the phone hello will u just give me ur order so i repeated multiple times and after he asked cash or card said cash then told me he wasn’t taking cash so i hung up and then my friend rang and he was perfectly fine with him and accepted his cash and everything got extremely rude with me and felt offended that he my male friend serious and not me very poor service that has turned me off ordering again food was good but not worth dealing with them
01/11/2025: The staff were being so cheeky over the phone, i told them what toppings i wanted and in the middle of it, he just kept saying “hello?” as if he couldn’t hear us. finally when he heard it, it sounded like a new person came on the phone and the person said “can you just tell me the order already” in a very rude tone. before that i asked if they take cash and they said yes, but after the order they said no they don’t take cash.weird?. then i got my father on the phone to order it for us so they can take him more seriously and they were grand and said “yes we do take cash”. i felt slightly offended that they didn’t take me seriously.

10/09/2025: Staff really nice and friendly. Sambo I got tasted like cheap ham. Bottom bread was not even toasted. Coffee good. Plenty of space to sit. But not going to be back. Sambo and Coffee was same price as pastry and Coffee. Madness
10/06/2025: The Hot(ish) food looked ok until you got it to the table.
Cold chicken wings that had obviously cooked ages ago and the same for the chips.
Very disappointed to the point of leaving my doodon the bin after bringing the cashiers attention to it.
I am off to cafe SOL.

02/12/2025: I just flew over from London for 1 night staying for work at the Clayton hotel about 15 min walk I was like gotta try a spice bag this place did not disappoint massive massive portion 15.05 eur with can of coke food was very good walked back as well still hot. Defo check it out wish I could upload pictures on my phone. Thanks for giving me good experience with my first spice bag

17/10/2025: First time eating from this place never again. Rice was hard like it had being cooked ages ago. Got my food home to discover that there was no prawn crackers in the bag. The food was all ready eaten before they arrived with the prawn crackers.

07/11/2024: Prices have gone up food quality has gone way down order double bacon double chicken couldnt find the chicken, on a number of orders. Chicken tender they taste plastic and hard, chips use to be lovely crisp now their soggy dont know if its new management but last few months quailty had really gone down hill

24/09/2025: The staff doesn't seem to have any idea what a kitchen is, their clothes don't look very clean. As for the food, it used to be much tastier, but now instead of having a lot of cheese and ham (for example), they put a ton of sauce on it, so it tastes terrible! Unfortunately, Dominos in Ongar has become part of the Indian street food family.
