The best restaurants in Dublin

21/03/2026: I came here tonight for the second time to order a spice bag from Lee’s Kitchen, and unfortunately had the exact same issue again. Both times I asked for the fries to be lightly seasoned plus no spicy seasonings , and both times they came out extremely over-seasoned and very spicy. It wasn’t just a bit too much, it was overwhelming to the point where it made the food hard to eat and actually made me feel sick (see photos). The frustrating part is that the food itself is good, which makes this even more disappointing. It feels like specific requests just aren’t being listened to or taken seriously. After two identical experiences, I won’t be returning.

08/03/2026: The worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Mongolia beef tasted like Mexican seasoning, noodles were in a rotten pale sauce, chicken balls were soggy, rice was awful and they forgot the curry sauce I ordered. Can’t understand how this place is still in business

08/03/2026: Staff was friendly but got Severe food poisoning from one of their burgers. Was sick multiple times that night. Would worry about their food safety standards.

20/01/2026: Food was unhygienic and staff was uninterested in taking order.

11/01/2026: Went here for a sub, asked for lettuce, tomato, red onion and chipotle and they only had onion. My partner asked for a sub with just bacon on it and they put 3 strips of small bacon on it and then they said they would have to charge extra for more (first time I ever seen this) Staff were rude and argumentative especially considering their slogan is ‘eat fresh’ yet they have no salads… we told them we didn’t want the subs and left. Went to airside subway instead and we got a completely different experience. Won’t return to this location ever again.

09/08/2025: Absolutely terrible service from the blonde girl at the counter. I walked in the place and we were the only costumers. Had to wait 3 minutes while she just sat there doing nothing before she even look at us to take our order. After giving the order slowly and clear, we received the wrong order. Of course i didn’t check on the spot all the items, which the wrong item was the last in the bag, but with previous experience, never had an issue. When i got home, i called the shop, and trying to reason with probably her on the phone, she insisted i’d be paying for the replacement of the wrong item and delivery. Absolutely gutted with this service!! Very unprofessional!

09/02/2026: Chips were horrible and the hole lot in general was cold waited over an hour for delivery

24/10/2025: Would not recommend i have twice experience of scam if spicebag prawns u wont get it they just put 3 pieces from top of your food rest is regular. I recommend checking the food before going out the shop and check inside if its right toppings etc.. Otherwised they still charge u tthe full amount when u just getting nothing from u order.

24/11/2025: This place used to be nicer but it's not anymore. The new options aren't that good and they don't even give crisps on the side. It has a nice vibe but they've got a lot worse over the years.

05/03/2026: chicken was absolutely peng, the hot wings had that crispy outside with the flavorsome chicken inside, the chips were seasoned to absolute perfection, the seasoning had me doing backflips it was too peng, the chicken breast was so juicy and too leng, with the cold pepsi oh my days 10 10

10/02/2026: We ordered a zinger burger meal and a fillet roll but it’s was not worth the price and I did not ate the roll at all as both of it was dry cold and dry and the cheap were good . We live in cork and the kfc over there is soooooooo goood but Srry this one is not worth spending the money on .

08/02/2026: I have being ordering food from good fortune for 15 years and last night our order was absolutely dreadful, greasy slop. When I rang to complain they refused to offer me anything by way of compensation. This is my first complaint but they were no help. I will never order food from here again , food was dreadful and service dreadful

16/11/2025: Staff are unbelievably rude. Witnessed a staff member dealing the person behind me in the queue and she was so unprofessional. The woman asked for a sandwich and she said could she have it toasted, the woman behind the till said “yeah well you have to show me which one you want like” she couldn’t have said it any cheekier if she tried. The woman behind me was a bit upset after the interaction and I was disgusted. It takes absolutely nothing to be nice to someone, especially when it’s this time of the year.

10/12/2025: Really Disappointing experience with Paramount hotel i recently visited in December 2025. The room had no ventilation and there was really bad smell in room coming from toilets like Urination, even after spraying perfumes and doing all possible stuff it felt like puking all time couldn’t sleep all night as bed was just beside toilet. The room was not so spacious it was bathroom sized rooms. Worst worst worst experience i ever had. I recommend everyone who is reading this review please consider booking another hotel as this will give you Trauma for life…

31/01/2026: Just got my order this is disgusting the lettuce looks rotting, I never asked for onion my order was lettuce tomato olives and jalapeños, one chicken best and the other one Rotisserie-Style chicken, absolutely discrete he just put 1 type of chicken threw some onion in and that's that look at this nonsense, the health and safety department should have a look at this UPDATE: STAFF WAS REALLY NICE AND TOOK IMMEDIATE ACTION

06/02/2026: Food is great if it ever comes! The last few months has really gone downhill- it now takes minimum an hour to arrive. The two times I’ve tried to phone up, once because my order took 2 and a half hours to arrive, and the second because I received the wrong order I was basically just told pfft not my problem you need to sort it out yourself. Would not recommend unless they sort out their delivery situation

26/01/2026: If I had known prior that crab legs weren't, you know, actual crab legs, but rather a lovecraftian abomination. Baby crab craws stuffed into a battered imitation fish ball, it was horrifying see video attached. I immediately had to throw those, and looked forward to tuck into the rest. To save a lengthy review. Sweet sour sauce- like syrup. Chicken chow mean anemic. Rice, alright but pork been cooked cooked at different time to rice. But the worst thing was; I ate a chicken ball to recover from the crab legs, and the batter.. it was fried in same oil as the crab legs. So all I could imagine while eating was little emaciated crabclaws sticking out of a ball of flesh. The taste after four forkfuls of the remaining ballast, left a lasting foul taste in my mouth, and I actually had to chuck away all of it, and rinse my mouth out twice with listerine. Im considering court action due to the PTSD I suffer since I ordered an hour ago

24/01/2026: Very poor experience. We were given a voucher as a gift to use at this restaurant. We arrived to the Gibson at 7.45 for our reservation at that time - got seated etc. We got our menus and waited for someone to come back to take our order or even drinks order. We had to get someone’s attention (at this stage it was after 8pm). She came back to us and asked us if we wanted “the good news or the bad news”. She told us the bad news was the kitchen is now closed (??) so we can’t order but she can bring us to the bar and we can use our voucher there. I told her i thought this was absolutely outrageous because someone just sat us down and never told us about having to order before 8, nor did anyone try to get our order in before the deadline, and she said she agreed with me but that she wasn’t the person who greeted us at the start. Food in the bar was fine. We eventually got our first drink at 8.30 - 45 mins after we arrived. When the bill came they knew nothing about our gift voucher which we handed to the initial lady, and they had to go searching around for her and the voucher. We couldn’t help but laugh at how poorly this night had gone. If you’re getting dinner in the area before a concert, would recommend Ruby’s, the Mayson or Cill Airne over this establishment.

11/01/2026: Poorly prepared steak and hygiene issues. Ordered a medium-rare steak and received it medium-well, clearly overcooked on a dirty grill with burnt residue. Replacement arrived 15 minutes later and was still wrong, medium to medium-well, while the other person's food was getting cold so she had to eat alone. For the price, the quality is not acceptable. You can get better steak elsewhere in town, even for less. Chips were cold, and the vinegar bottle was dirty with a fly inside. Yes, a fly inside. Disgusting. What i received here i can make at home on any frying pan. When we arrived, the tables were messy and we were seated anyway. During our entire stay, staff continued setting up around us, constantly moving tables, chairs, and walking by. For a restaurant at this price level, everything should be ready before guests arrive. The constant movement made the experience uncomfortable and not relaxing at all. I took a few weeks to write this review to make sure I wasn't doing it out of anger, but the food was so disgusting that I can't help but feel that way again.
