The best restaurants in Dublin

20/07/2026: Food was below average for a 4star hotel. We stayed the night and bought a package deal which included 3 course meal. Wings were so dry as if they had been sat under heater for long time, then tossed in cheap sauce. The main was a burger which sounded nice on the menu, but when arrived was bleak looking, nothing you couldn't throw together at home. Very underwhelming. Dessert was tasty, again nothing special but how wrong can you go with a chocolate pudding. Unfortunately wont be back.

16/05/2026: Unfortunately, this hotel and its restaurants were booked for us through work, so we had to stay and dine here for 4 days. I normally wouldn’t leave a negative review, but I honestly want future guests to know what to expect if they’re staying here for multiple days. The food across the restaurants was very mediocre. The menu is extremely limited, most dishes were overly salty, and overall everything felt bland and uninspired. After a couple of days, it genuinely became difficult to find anything enjoyable to eat. If you’re staying here for more than a night or two, just keep in mind that you may end up relying on these restaurants, and the dining experience is unfortunately one of the weakest parts of the stay.

17/08/2026: It was a peaceful and a clean café, where there was a good environment to have a chat with a friend. There were many seats available. The eclair tasted nice, but the red velvet cake was overly sweet. The frosting seemed like it was made of 99% sugar and 1% cream. But overall, the service was great and the barista seems like she was moving as fast as she could to serve us.

15/07/2026: The chicken balls and chips are heavenly!

06/06/2026: Food was served on time, so no issue there. But the taco chips are very disappointing! Bland beyond belief, and nowhere near that price-tag. Would do well to learn how to do a proper taco chips first, I think. It was like having some boiled beef on chips - very disappointing from what's supposed to be a proper chippy. Chicken fillet burger was sloppy. Chicken was tasty and big, but found the burger very damp altogether. Just not the best. Wasn't the worst I've had, but you expect better from a place like this.

09/06/2026: Not the best food to be honest. The unit itself is ok. Have to update this review with a picture of the worst coffees ive ever been handed. Machine from the spar would pour better.

20/05/2026: Banana bread was old, hard and dry. And €3.40 for a simple cup of tea. Outrageous. And the staff couldn’t be bothered to smile once, and seemed grumpy and uninterested in any kind of service at all. Gross banana bread crumbs still on the table this afternoon after my morning visit (4 hours later).

27/06/2026: Been ordering for years. It used to be perfect. The last year a little less consistsnt and quality dropping. Last night I threw it all out, the chicken breast can no longer be called chicken and the curry sauce was watery. Staff are great but food was very disappointing last night. Ill go back if/when its fixed and using quality irish meats and Ill remove this review.

19/06/2026: Very disappointed. Every time I order the Spicy Bag, it’s different. Sometimes it’s great, but other times (like today) the fries are soggy and the chicken is drenched in oil. I don’t understand why the same menu item is never consistent. I’ve even taken photos because the difference between orders is so noticeable. Unfortunately, today’s order was poor quality.

29/05/2026: Worst delivery service ever !!! Every time when I need to order they cancelling my orders as the reason is to far but i live 3 km away. Shame .

30/04/2026: I had a very disappointing experience at Angleos Ballymun. We ordered a large chicken pizza, but the first order we received was a BBQ chicken pizza, which was not what we asked for. When we pointed this out, the staff acknowledged it and asked us to wait. After another 20 minutes, we were given a plain pizza with just chicken on it — still not what was shown on their menu. What made the situation worse was the interaction at the counter. The staff member insisted that “chicken pizza” means BBQ chicken pizza, even though the menu clearly lists a chicken pizza with specific toppings. When I pointed directly to the menu item, she stopped arguing, but there was no apology — only visible annoyance. Overall, the order was incorrect twice, the wait time was long, and the customer service felt dismissive. It was a frustrating experience, especially when the menu itself clearly supports what we ordered.

21/06/2026: Not the first time this has happened me so raging I gave here another chance. Spice bag is literally chips and some tiny pieces of chicken, absolutely covered in powder, making it too salty and spicy to even eat. Not one onion or pepper in the spice bag. Majority went in bin as couldn't eat it

17/07/2026: the room was quite small but no different from the pictures online. everything was compact but they were quite old. however, the location was great, merely a 5-min walk to the closest tube station, and the staff (there was lady who helped me to check in) was very sweet and helpful. good bargain for the price.

11/07/2026: Very basic hotel, excellent location 5 mins away a from Earls court tube station. One of the Staff seemed uninterested when we checked in, sat on their phone instead of looking at us to talk to us. Room is very basic, not very well kept, there is paint peeling in the bathroom, broken AC etc. It's a good place for one night due to location but I would not stay any longer than this

22/03/2026: I visit to buy cable in shop on Friday but there was so many kids The Chinese guy selling vape to kids soo I wait for him to talk with me but he soo busy with kids poor customer service

10/07/2026: My family got a large order with plenty of variety tonight and most of it went in the bin. Even the rice and chips were bad. Never again

07/07/2026: Driver glen dirty pissy hands ✋️ missing in a bottle in his car without washing hand. Smoking & tobacco on food. Throws food bag on a dirty car floor that hadn't been cleaned in over 4 years 😳 no wonder people getting food poisoning sick. Dirty dirty bag

30/06/2026: We ordered 10 piece chicken and only got 6.The worker said we could only go back to refund or get our chicken on that same day but I was busy and lived far away.Not good enough

21/06/2026: Went to KFC Dundrum last Thursday around 7pm and found a date label inside a piece of chicken. Absolutely disgusting and not what you’d expect at all. It completely put me off my food. Need to sort out the quality control.

07/06/2026: Just got a delivery 3 items wrong..donerasked for no salad.comes stuffed with salad.. another chicken doner didn't come. A second plain doner came with only garlic sauce on it and no chips..sauces wrong and cold kebabs..won't be ordering from here again

08/02/2026: I have being ordering food from good fortune for 15 years and last night our order was absolutely dreadful, greasy slop. When I rang to complain they refused to offer me anything by way of compensation. This is my first complaint but they were no help. I will never order food from here again , food was dreadful and service dreadful

24/03/2026: Really disappointing experience. The pizza had way too much cheese so much that it all slid off as soon as you picked up a slice. It made it messy, hard to eat, and honestly pretty unpleasant. The fries weren’t any better. They tasted like someone just took a baked potato, cut it up, and added a bit of oil instead of actually deep-frying them. They were soft and lacked any crispiness. Overall, not a place I’d come back to.
