The best restaurants in Dublin

23/10/2025: I can't see how any of the positive reviews are actually legitimate. This company is not actually a bakery that makes cakes etc under the name of Mannings that most people in Dublin would be familiar with. So if you call this company, which is called Mannings, just the same as all of those lovely cake shops, you will be greeted by an annoyed and rather rude person. Granted he must be pretty fed up explaining to callers that this Mannings Bakery is not the Mannings Bakery that sells cakes but when your company name is the exact same as another, and it definitely isn't the callers fault then being rude isn't acceptable. Maybe it's time for a name change. Plus I can't see how some reviews talk about the lovely items they collected as I barely had the words "I'm looking to order...." out of my mouth when the rude receptionist cut me off. They didn't even ask what exactly I was trying to order and basically told me to go away!

17/08/2025: Was the first time there, the restaurant as a really good location, full city center, i recommend to eat during the day (the night its busy with the people going to drink everywhere) we ordered 3 plates, the rice was a little bit burnt, apart from that the dishes were really generous, and the taste of the meats superb.

14/08/2025: I’m visiting and came across this place that interested me. I asked “what’s your absolute favorite?” while pointing the menu, she ignored me and moved on to the person after me… what the actual F? I felt very humiliated… I confronted her afterwards and she shrugged and had nothing to tell me as expected. I’m Asian too and was being nothing but smiling and friendly, and did not expect to be treated like that.

15/08/2025: Ordered food, got the wrong food so sent it back, then only after two hours i got the right food sent to me. Disgraceful, do not order from here unless u want to die or starvation and reading from other reviews, food poisoning?

09/08/2025: No stars should be shut down! Food poisoning in a container. Steer clear this is the worst food I have tasted the chicken was pinkish and slimey and to be honest I cant even confirm if it’s chicken. The curry sauce was like gelatine absolutely Disgusting and when I called no offer of refund just a “sorry about that” AVOID at all cost!

09/12/2025: Order: chicken chop suey with fried noodles. Food: slightly above average chop suey. Not excellent, not bad, but reasonably good. They followed my instruction no celery, and the tray wasn’t overloaded with onion. Noodles were a bit oily but had decent flavour. Overall acceptable, though nothing that stands out. 7/10 Portion: standard size, fully fair for this type of dish. Service: simple packaging – plastic tray for the main, plastic tray for the noodles, basic brown paper bag. No napkins, no chopsticks, no cutlery. Functional but very minimal. 6/10 Price: typical for Dublin, neither cheap nor overpriced. 6/10 Overall: 7/10. Decent value, slightly better than average taste, nothing surprising. Likely to return.

13/07/2025: ordered because of free delivery, but an item was missing ...chipotie cheesy bites 2.70euro...nice tactics to take get money from free delivery....never gonna buy from them again...

08/07/2025: Very fresh sandwich, lovely person serving, great for fresh food on the go.

28/08/2025: Went looking for an eight euro sandwich. They are always excellent. Was told that there wasn't enough white bread left. Was offered Sandwich on Brown. Can't eat Brown bread. Rang manager and told her it was a thundering disgrace.(note I didn't say SHE was a thundering disgrace). She was arrogant and said she wouldn't be abused. I never said SHE was a thundering disgrace.

05/06/2025: Not just the best sandwich, but the best lunch you'll get in Dun Laoghaire. Recommend the club, you wont be left hungry!

15/11/2025: Wouldn’t bother, I ordered food and got a half portion after ringing I was told the next time I would get the same food free and the second time ordering the food was burst in the bag and still a half portion… AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

10/11/2025: Amazing place to order from, counter staff and drivers are all lovely and very pleasant, couldn't fault them for anything, pricing isn't too much, quality is amazing, definitely recommend checking it out

12/11/2025: Had ty ball here nothing to remeber place says buzz on the walls yet its as queit as a graveyard get more fun sitting at home with a pringles can glove and sponges not worth the your time stay as far away as possible

28/07/2025: I got a collection and got 5 pieces of chicken when I rang they told me I was lying. It was a bag of chips with 5 pieces of chicken what a joke of a place. Picture is the chips as we had already had the chicken I had one place and my partner had 4 so we opened up the bag to look for more but that’s all that was in it. But I was told that’s impossible we should have got over 10 pieces. Never will I order from this place again.

21/07/2025: I was here on Sunday the 13th July. Disappointed. I walked in and said hello and was just glared at by staff. I ask what type of noodles came with the special chow mein, I was told skinny noodles. When I got order I checked and it and the wrong type, I showed it to the staff and he said 'they were skinny noodles' (See picture) No offer to change order or offer an alternative. I was in a hurry and had to leave disappointed. The amount of meat in the special chow mein was also poor.

20/11/2025: We stopped at this place for a quick bite and were lucky enough to meet Diego, a very friendly and helpful Argentinian guy.

09/07/2025: The place is great, the service is excellent since it's our first time on the subway, and the employee Diego explains everything to us brilliantly. You're lucky with that guy. He's very polite, friendly, and gives us great service. 5/5

01/12/2025: Can’t find the online menu anywhere!!!!

02/11/2025: Although we didn’t have a reservation, we were quickly seated at the edge of the restaurant (we later discovered it stretched much further inside and even around a corner!). Unfortunately, our table was dirty and it took asking three times before it was cleaned. We only ordered mains and desserts. The burger arrived with cheese despite us asking several times for none, and the Caesar salad chicken tasted more like pre-packed than freshly cooked. On the positive side, the pizza was very good, the chicken supreme was lovely, and the desserts were excellent. Overall, the food was a bit hit and miss, and the service was okay — apart from the rocky start with a dirty table.

21/03/2025: Firstly - It has to be said that the staff are very pleasant. Unfortunately I had a "pizza" 🤢 - it was of a lower standard than a poor quality frozen supermarket pizza (actually, maybe thats what it was!) . Ingredients were poor quality, dough not properly made, nor was it cooked correctly. Quite overpriced for the standard. In short - it really was 'junk food'! Worst pizza I've ever had in Dublin.

05/02/2025: Crosbie Café is the best spot in Dublin. The service is amazing—everyone is incredibly friendly—and the quality of the food and drinks is excellent. Plus, it’s located in a place with stunning views, making the experience even better.

10/08/2025: I was looking forward to trying an açaí bowl from this place as it was my first time ordering from them through just eat, I left a note for the delivery person to call when they arrive, I never got a call and unfortunately I never got the order :(

27/11/2025: Ordered the food an hour ago sitting here starving Like thick after been told Be with me in 20 minutes, tried ringing them about 5 times bad form .

06/11/2025: Ordered a spice and satay sauce, chicken looked like it had been deep fried whole and then just chopped up, not proper shredded chicken at all, chips were bland with little seasoning and the satay sauce tasted like fairy liquid. Would not recommend at all UPDATE: Both of us got food poisoning the same night after we had it so definitely a NO GO

27/10/2025: Incredibly disappointed by what is, quite frankly, fraudulent advertising. Ordered a large chilli fries (5e) but was stunned when it was half a bag and the 6.50e child's meal (including 3 sausages, 3 nuggets, chips and a can) had MORE chips than their apparent large chilli chips. Called as we in our naively assumed they'd given us the wrong size in error and were told they only had one size! More than happy to overcharge via their app and not to offer to refund the difference when questioned. Whilst in one order its not a significant difference, I can only imagine they're doing this to multiple products. It's incredibly disappointing as it feels really unethical, if you only offer one size/option, have one price, don't charge more and refuse to make it right when you've been called out. I'd always prefer to support local but this isn't a great experience from somewhere I'd visit regularly.
