The best restaurants in Dublin

17/09/2026: I visited KFC Dundrum recently and the experience was really disappointing. I took the food home, but even during my short time inside the restaurant, the hygiene was terrible. The toilet was extremely gross , clearly not cleaned properly, and it left a really bad impression about how the whole place is maintained. After eating the food, I ended up with diarrhea, which makes me seriously question the hygiene and food handling standards. This should never happen, and the management needs to take immediate action to fix both the cleanliness of the facilities and the kitchen practices. I won’t be returning until things improve.

01/09/2026: Terrible got this horrible bucket meal and a wrap which I paid 27 euro for which had one tender on the wrap I paid 8.70 for was the smallest wrap I ever got for that price, also horrible staff in this store should be closed

22/03/2026: Avoid this Chinese at all costs!!! Wish I could give this lower than 1 star. Used to order from here about a year ago and loved the shredded chicken, ordered again for the first time since and the chicken is completely different to before. It was disgusting, stringy, purple????and completely raw - it went straight in the bin it was inedible, I genuinely don’t know how they can serve food like that. Afterwards I came and looked at the other reviews because I actually thought I had made a mistake and ordered from the wrong restaurant by accident but unfortunately not, it just seems to be a common thing that they don’t cook their chicken for any of their customers now 🤷‍♀️

26/08/2026: Ordered Pathai noodles came home took it out and binned it along with chicken wings 😬 Never again will I go there

14/08/2026: Last time ordering from this place, we thought we found a good takeaway selling gorgeous spice bag, out of a few spice bags there were two that were really bad, the rest were amazing and fresh. Then we decided to order something new and went for the starter combo for 2, it was priced at €14 but really should be at the most €6. The box the 2 rubs were in was full to the top with the hot honey and we weren't warned it would leak. The hot honey spilled all over my jeans and my car seat before I even opened it. The other box had miniature sized spring rolls the width of my finger and won tons no bigger than my thumb and 4 miniature slices of sesame toast, and a tub of gelatinous sauce, definitely not buying 'food' from here again. Oh and the hair that was stuck to one rib. 🤢

13/09/2026: Food used to be ok (never great) but its just terrible now. You would be also very lucky to recieve what you actually asked for. Was recently charged €6:50 for a small tray of noodles, this coupled with the fact that they have also begun the old "card machine machine dosent work" gimmick makes it sure I wont be ordering from here again.

09/09/2026: Spice bag was inedible bar the chips. Stringy chicken breast, greasy veg. While in there another customer was complaining about greasy rice in a previous order. Worst tenner i ever spent but at least i got a can of coke!

30/08/2026: Usually I enjoy eating at Graham O'Sullivans as the food is usually quite nice and hot, But not today. Ordered two curries with rice and chips and both dishes disappointed me as they were only Luke warm and chips felt they were a little under cooked

22/08/2026: Updated Aug 2026: Portions have decreased, about 15 chips and 3 onion rings in the half and half. This used to come with a bowl of chips, not joking it was only about 15 chips like another review says. My 3 year old had 3x the chips in their little meal for the same price!! Scandalous. Avoid at all costs. €48.70 for 2 burgers, 2 chips, 1 drink, 1 little meal and 2 dips. Tell me how is this more expensive than the 2 adults and 2 kids meals offer for €42. We could have gotten another child’s meal for free and for €3 cheaper. Why don’t the staff tell you this? Also don’t tell you dips are 3 for 2 so we could have gotten another dip for free. Won’t be back, total rip off.

Over 40 minutes wait after ordering, burgers were so small the patties were the size of a McDonald's euro saver hamburger only about 10 times the price. Boneless wings were essentially weird tasting chicken balls. Clearly short staffed in the kitchen with only 2 of them cooking, about 6 from front of house not really up to much. Our food was sitting on the pass ready for a good 5 minutes before the waiters managed to stop chatting and take the food to our table. When paying I spoke with the staff member who was looking after our bill and told him all of this, he didn't care and fully charged us for everything. Do not go here, awful and overpriced food, poor hygiene practices, unprofessional behavior and a ridiculous wait time.

10/08/2026: I say down to wait on my friend, so we could have lunch together here. The older staff woman came over with a big smile telling me I shouldn't dare sit down before ordering. I felt like crap. I advise people not to go here. It seems to be the woman in charge with a venomous attitude and the staff walking on eggshells round her. No a good scenario. Don't spend your money here , not your time and energy.

25/05/2026: Very disappointing experience at The Bagel Bar café in Omni Shopping Centre. If you’re a person of colour, be prepared to feel unwelcome. Some of the senior staff were rude, dismissive, and made us feel uncomfortable with their attitude and eye-rolling throughout our visit. This was our fourth time visiting, and every single time it has been uncomfortable. Today we ended up going there because O’Brien’s toaster wasn’t working. We spent around €30 and honestly left feeling upset rather than relaxed. The bagels were average, and the coffee was just okay — definitely not worth the experience. Good customer service and basic respect should be for everyone. Sadly, this kind of rude behaviour seems to be becoming more common in Dublin lately.

24/07/2026: Ordered food that cost up to 52 euro on the website this evening, after waiting 10 mins for the restaurant to confirm the order (after they already took my money) my husband called the restaurant and they said that they did not receive the order and that there was nothing they can do. When we asked about a refund we were met with an unhelpful approach to just email the company…. we have emailed the company and don’t feel confident that we will here anything back - made our only evening off work together frustrating and stressful Hopefully our refund will be issued in the next coming days - there is no excuse for having a bad money robbing system, we settled for domino’s beside this Pizza Hut branch, and our order was confirmed and delivered within 25 minutes. Definitely order domino’s over Pizza Hut if your looking for pizza in Tyrrelstown Super disappointing :(
