11/01/2025: After a long night of enjoying Dublin’s nightlife… we came across this establishment. NATURALLY, our orders were completely mixed up and they did not even check to see if our orders were correct. Abhorrent, disgusted, many feelings came across me when opening my paper thing bag that rips at any movement. NEVA shall i return to this place.

07/01/2025: They are abusive. Or maybe racist. We decided to go in to eat but first we thought about using the bathroom. They kicked us out of the restaurant for the simple fact of using the bathroom first. The service is disgusting. And the restaurant was disgusting!

08/01/2025: Ordered 5 selects and received 12 stinking mozzarella sticks. Taste like rubber. Absolutely woeful experience exactly what I deserve for going to tallaght.

22/12/2024: Like most McDonald's, food is more or less the same, we wanted to try some special ice cream but was never available. The place was pretty unclean, so they should put more effort in cleaning the place.

18/12/2024: 10pm on a Wednesday, supposed to be open till 11pm arrived to a door closed shut and staff looking at me confused.

26/11/2024: The staff are very friendly and helpful and efficient. The prices are very expensive, I had a breakfast sandwich and a coffee and it was 11.95 euros . I will not be having it again. 10 euros would have been enough

23/12/2024: Was notified the delivery time was 90 mins after paying for the order online. Nobody answering phones to cancel the order. 2 hours in and still no pizzas! Broken system

28/06/2024: I feel disappointed about this place as I used to buy things from here often but today I went in with a friend to order a coffee and one of the staff was rude toward my friend. I think the staff needs to be training on how to treat customers.

25/05/2024: Great sandwiches. Organic products as well as delicious cakes to die for . Love to work near one of their shops . Unfortunately the new owners don't stock orange juice and alike . So you then have to go to another store after buying a sandwich. We don't all have time for this . So Unfortunately I'll have to go elsewhere

27/11/2024: Ordered a delivery. This took 1 and half hours to come, had to call in twice about where the order was. The delivery driver was abusive and told me he is just a driver and how is he meant to know where he is going 😅 Food was stone cold. This place has turned into a complete joke stay away.

24/11/2024: I’m new to living in Lucan, got a takeaway from Chinatown for four people and we all loved it. Each of our dishes were very tasty where two of us had meat where it was excellent quality. We were very impressed. When I rang to order by phone, they were extremely busy (rush hour on a Sat evening) but yet very polite & welcoming on the phone. I’d highly recommend Chinatown.

20/12/2024: If you are really desperate just for some desi food with below-standard service and food, then this place is for you. From cold food to empty dishes, from 2-minute to 2-hour promises, from inexperienced and ill-mannered staff with no concept of customer service, from fake promises to "I will get it now" to never showing up again—if you are looking for all these qualities and are happy to pay for it, then this is definitely the place for you. It has seen more management and ownership changes than any other place. They specialize in providing a horrible in-store dining experience, and their specialty is "we don't care." Even if my life depended on this place, I would never visit it again!

08/12/2024: Yesterday we held our staff party in The Vela Restaurant. We booked the outside area for a BBQ party. All our 50 guests enjoyed the BBQ food and the atmosphere as we had an outdoor DJ Who was fantastic with lights and lasers. All of the staff from the BBQ chefs, the staff who worked hard behind the bar to the Restaurant Manager were so helpful and friendly to our guests. It was our best party experience we have had at any venue in the past few years.

05/07/2024: Best Chinese takeaway in Dublin! We get the chicken curry and the crispy chicken in peking sauce. They always call to confirm the order and it is delivered hot and fast.

15/12/2024: Everything was good except the burger which was a bit cold.

05/12/2024: Possibly the most obnoxious staff of any McDonald's I've been to, ever. Migrants are given a bad reputation in Dublin (hypocritically), but it's the "Dub Life" type that are the true problematic demographic. Literally some short, overweight, pug looking pizza face, her body would suggest she dines exclusively where she works, yelled at the top of her voice at myself and my girl whilst we were looking for seating, "yaaarite!!?", lol. Horrible. Basically seizing an opportunity to draw attention to, or make a show of us in front of the entire restaurant, whilst we were just looking for seating. Angry, aggressive, obscene, and based on other reviews, absolutely typical of this outlet. Maybe that's the lesson here: if you're well dressed, well presented and civilized, don't frequent establishments such as this.

03/08/2024: Now The Green Fields. Nice local. They have a pool table.

22/11/2024: It mainly cater to Africans cuisines. The food tasted 😋 great, and the staff team was very helpful. There is eat-in and take away opportunity.
